CHAPTER 1 A WARRIOR REBORN
A blue light. That's all that he saw, surrounding him on all sides. He was still garbed in his paladin armor, his tunic royal blue a thorny blue crown and arm guards, gauntlets and leggings of the purest pearl white metal, the strongest material found in his world. Strapped to his side his longsword pure blue with a white edge and solid gold engravings, the shield on his back the same design of the blinding white metal, still holding the same engravings as his sword. This gear was his favorite not because it saved his life, but because it protected his friends and loved ones, even in his final fight. He himself is a Roegadyn, a large man with green skin, platinum blonde hair leading down to a bearded covered chin.. His right eye a royal blue, as calm as an ocean, the other, a pale white with a scare running through it, showing it to be useless. As he glanced around he finally found the large blue crystal, Hydaelyn shaped roughly like a teardrop with several smaller crystals orbiting her in a ring. She always speaks in a soft, gentle voice, never giving vent to any kind of negative emotion.
"Come my champion you have severed me well, but now it is time for you to move on, where you go I shan't know, for it is not apart of my realm."she spoke in a kind motherly voice." But know this, all your talents, your gear, and your magic, shall stay with you. For you will need it, take care my child."
All he could do was give a sad smile and a single tear as he knew what she had meant. He was dead and he knew it, but at least he gave his life to save his friends. He closed his eyes and reached forth, to the warm glowing light that washed over him.

Peace. That is the only thing he could feel around him as he regained consciousness. As he opened his eyes all he could see was trickles of light seeping through a forest canopy. Sitting up he glanced around at his surroundings. None Of the foliage looked familiar to him, he did notice a river nearby and decided on getting a small drink. Getting up his armor clamored, and he dusted himself of the grass and twigs he had stuck to him. As he walked to the riverbed he examined himself and noticed he still had most of his inventory with him. But the items of his most concern where the nine stones, attached to a necklace, that allowed him to access his other learned jobs and equipment. His other concern was the special enchanted back on his hip that carried his nine billion gil, coins about 2inches in diameter and weighing about half a pound each, this was the currency from his world. Not knowing if it would help him in this world. He continued to search for his designated item.
"There you are." He said with sad yet rigid voice, as calm as the forest he was currently in, as he pulled out a set of bottles to scoop the water into.after filling his bottles and taking a drink for himself, he decided to follow the path leading from the river hoping to find some civilization to see what world he has ended up in. He pulled out his sword and shield, which started to glow yellow from the enchantments on them, I case he needed them.

It has been about hour since he started trekking down this path, and still no signs of any dangers, he placed his weapons away.
After walking a few more minutes he sees an opening in the tree line before him. Quickening his pace a small smile broke onto his face.
Beautiful. That was the only word that could describe the grassy plains before him. As he surveyed the land he noticed a small town looking to be about twenty minuets away from him. He proceeded his hike, only to come to a stop, as he heard what seemed to be a cry for help. Quickly pulling is weapons back off he scanned the area looking for the plea. Finally spotting movement to his right, from a different entrance to the forest, he spotted what seemed to be a small horse being chased by a pack of wolves. Pulling at his oath to protect all innocence, his instincts told him to hurry, and that he did, his armor clanking loudly as he ran. As he neared the. Haste he noticed how the wolves seemed to be made of wood. Seeing stranger from his Eorzea he shook his head and sped his running. A sudden yelp caught his attention as the small horse fell. It's leg caught in a hole and bent awkwardly. He jumped I front of it and blocked a swipe from the wolf in the front. The wolf backed a way and seemed to get ready for another attack. Recless waited for the right moment, right as the wolf pounced he bashed his shield in to its head and stabbed it in the heart.

Run. That was the only thing playing through her mind. Just run. She glanced back behind her to see the four wolves still chasing her as she ran back the path she traveled into the Everfree. Her name was Scootaloo, she was in this forest because was looking to get her cutie mark.but it did not go as planned. Her friends, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, had decided to go home after their last attempt. But Scootaloo wanted to try once more, even tho her friends had gone home. She decided to go exploring to see if she could obtain her cutie mark, thus she decided to enter the Everfree. Not five minuets into the forest she was spotted by the pack of timber wolves. The first thing entering her mind, was to run.
Here she was running. Running as fast as her little hooves would allow her, she came up one the field leading her back home, the wolves still on her trail. She made it about a hundred yards before suddenly her foot hurt and she found herself face down on the ground, an agonizing pain shooting through her. She looked behind her and saw the wolves dashing for her. She closed her eyes ready for the oncoming pain, but it never came. She heard a sudden cry of pain as she looked up and saw a tall creature, the tallest she had ever seen, stabbing one of the wolves in the chest whit have strange glowing sword. She watched as he batted them all away readied himself for another onslaught, but the wolves suddenly backed away, and began running back to the forest. The giant stood there for a second weapons at the ready before finally deeming the area safe and put them away. He turned and walked up to her. She covered her head and braced herself for any pain to come. But again it never came. Instead she felt her body being lifted off the ground and placed in a standing position. When her back hoof touched the ground tho she cried in pain. Looking back she could tell it was broken. It was bent backwards in a way it shouldn't have been. It was then that he heard his voice. And it saddened her.

He stood there, waiting for any more danger to make itself known. Deeming it safe, he put his weapons away, and turned to the small horse creature. As he walked to it he notice it try to defend itself almost as a person from his world would. Was this creature intelligent? It was then he noticed its leg, bent at an awkward position, he decided he should heal it. He wouldn't lie what he was about to do would be painful for the horse. He bent down to pick it up, feeling it tense at his touch. After picking it up he relished it to be a female, and adorning a pair of wings. This confused him greatly, he thought Pegasi to be a myth but here was one in front of him. And no bigger than his entire hand. He gently lowered her down on the ground again in a prone position being mindful of her leg, witnessing her flinch as it came into contact with the ground. He than proceeded to look through his sack until he found what he needed, a small wooden rectangle, he then held it toward the Pegasus.
"Here. Bite down as hard as you can on to this" he said as he held it out for her.
She turned her head, hearing his voice, and looked at the object in his hands. Deciding to trust him after he saved her life she took the small wooden plaque into her mouth and bit it as hard as she could. She then herd his voice again
"I will not lie, this will hurt a lot. But I need to replace your leg into the correct location in order to heal it. Will you trust me" he asked with nothing but concern in his voice.
Hesitant at first she looked into his eyes and saw nothing but concern. She closed her eyes tight and just gave a simple nod, ready for the pain.
"I am sorry to do this" she heard. Then nothing but pain, was so much she couldn't stay conscious, as she blacked out the last glimps she saw was a strange blue glow as the mane said a simple word. "Cure."
After he cast his spell he noticed the filly had passed out. He couldn't blame her. Resetting a bone was very painful, hopefully he did it right. He then proceeded to pick her up and checked over his work. Noticing that his spell had worked and her leg fixed he placed her in huge crook of his arm as he turned to make way towards the town he saw. A quick once over at a sign, strangely in his language said "Welcome to Ponyville."
Author's Note
My second story. I hope this one grabs your attention. This is my character from my final fantasy XIV: a realm reborn. He is a large guy that looks a lot like the tagged pic for the cover art. Please comment if you have anything to say. I would love to better myself as a writer. I can say for sure I don't have a solid plot for the story yet. But I hope it will reveal itself soon.
