And how do you explain this?

Twilight and Rarity left the bedroom and headed towards the library. "Rarity, dd you think it was a good idea to leave Dead alone with Cadance?" Twilight said as her and Rarity traveled through the long hallways. The torches changed for burning orange to a dark purple. "Urgh this place creeps me out so much. Its not that it is a castle, or a place that teaches you how to raise dead." Twilight huffed.

"Then what is it?" Rainbow shouted as she landed next to the pair and started walking with them.

"Its empty." Twilight said bluntly. "A place with this much magic keeping it running should be packed full of ponies, dragons, griffons and changelings... But its not."

"I can understand that, it must be hard for you Twilight, you practically grew up in a castle full of ponies. And the only other castle you saw was crumbling to dust. Oh and the crystal castle, that was empty wasn't it? Oh but then again..."

"How do you know that Rainbow? Who did you talk to?" Rarity exclaimed and interrupted. She was surprised at Rainbow's understanding of the situation.

"Marcia... She said that might be one of the ways you reacted." Rainbow chuckled. "She knew you wouldn't be happy about being here, she said you a bit of a teacher's pet."

"That Princesses... Hey!" Twilight grumbled realizing the trick.

"Every time Twilight. Every time you fall for that." Rainbow laughed as the group went on. "Wow how long do these hall go on for?"

"I don't know, I normally have something else on my mind when I go through these halls..." Rarity sighed, hoping that she did not give too much away.

"Oh yeah, like what?" Rainbow asked, giving a very strange signal to Rarity.

"Whats it to you rainbow!?" Rarity snapped at Rainbow unexpectedly.

"Woah settle down you two!" Twilight burst in before thing escalated. "You two are just grouchy from a lack of sleep. You need one of those ghosts to zap you..." Just as Twilight finished a tender appeared and fired a blue bolt that hit Twilight on her flank. "Not me! These two!" Twilight shouted at the ghost.

"Apologies..." The ghost murmured as it fired a similar bolt at Rarity and Rainbow. While the first bolt hit Rarity, Rainbow dodged hers. Rainbow was in the middle of sticking her tongue out at the ghost before the bolt turned and hit her in the back of the head. The ghost promptly vanished before Rainbow could complain to it.

"Twilight!" Rainbow shouted. "I got sleep! Marcia put a sleeping curse on me. I slept through Cadance's lame attempts to bring the Dead to life."

"I heard that Rainbow!" Cadance's voice boomed in the halls. The group turned around and tried looking for the princess of love, but could not find her. Twilight grew very angry very quickly.

"WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO LISTEN IN ON ME!"

"Because..." Cadance started.

"Its kind of..." Nazz continued.

"Funny to see you..." Grim went on.

"React so poorly..." Marcia finished. Then the sinister laughter of three necromancers and a princess of love could be heard echoing through the halls.

"ARGHHHHH!" Twilight screamed as she quickly teleported, leaving Rarity and Rainbow alone.

After a few minuets of slow silent walking Rainbow broke the ice. "So Rarity... Seen much of Dead?" Rainbow asked innocently.

"I saw her a bit last night." Rarity started. "She was working on something and needed some help." Rarity quickly finished, trying to hide her lie.

"I see, was it anything good?" Rainbow quizzed.

"Not really, she just needed some help moving some stuff around her office." Rarity said.

"Like a desk? After you had really rough loud sex." Rainbow said flatly. Rarity froze up, she had no idea how loud they were. "Don't worry Rarity, I have no reason to be angry and even if I did, I wouldn't. But I have to ask, how did you do it?" Rainbow asked nudging Rarity who was still frozen in place.

"R-Rainbow..." Rarity stuttered. "I-I..." Rarity tried to fight back her tears. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, honestly! She cast a spell on me!" Rarity blubbered.

"Rarity, calm down. Honestly I just want to know how you did it. Then we will be even." Rainbow said, forcing Rarity to fight back against her tears. "Now are you going to tell me?"

Rarity regained her composure. "You just need to bottle up your feelings for her, use said bottled feelings to make you look like a mess emotionally. Completely mess up saying said feelings once and then bump into Cadance. The rest should unveil itself." Rarity grinned as Rainbow stood in shock.

"Huh, okay Rarity. One problem, I'm not good at bottling my emotions. So I guess that goes out the window and away to a faraway place." Rainbow laughed. "So what was she like?"

"A lady never kisses and tells." Rarity said as she started walking ahead. She turned around and saw Rainbow frowning at her. "I'm sure if you ask her how I was she would tell you..."

"Its not the same thing! Anyway, how do you think Ditzy will react." Rainbow said evilly, clearly unaware of what Dead had told Rarity. "You might start getting the wrong mail on Mondays."

"That happens anyway Rainbow..." Rarity sighed, stringing Rainbow along.

"You might stop getting your muffins then!" Rainbow teased.

"Not my Monday muffin!" Rarity cried out as she swooned to the floor, only for Rainbow to catch her as she was inches away from the floor, "However..." Rarity stood back up. "Something is telling me I might get something else..."

"Wow Rarity, you are luckiest mare in the world right now. I want to turn into a changeling and hide you somewhere and steal your position."

"No you don't Rainbow, trust me its not all its cracked up to be." Nazz spoke as if he was next to them. "I wish you could hear Twilight flipping out right now. Grim is getting popcorn!"

"Moving on..." Rarity started. "Let go see Cadance. I left her with Dead and I am regretting it." Rarity said, remember what Twilight had asked her.

"Dead can handle herself. I am sure of that." Rainbow said full of confidence.

"She was out cold..." Rarity slow trembled.

"Lets hope she woke up..." Rainbow said as she picked up her pace.

Cadance was once again buried in a book. She didn't notice Dead wake up. She didn't notice Dead grinning evilly and she certainly didn't notice Dead raise a skeletal dragon. Just as Cadance flicked the page the dragon roared. Startled Cadance turned around and fired a skull bolt into the dragon. The drop promptly froze and turned to dust.

"Cadance, you dusted my dragon! What was that for!" Dead chuckled as she emerged from the cloud of bone dust.

"Y-You... I-I... I DID IT! I did the spell! I fired a skull bolt!" Cadance cheered and jumped until she saw Dead. "Oh sorry Dead, I didn't mean to do that."

"Its okay, my fault for scaring you. But since when were you a novice necromancer?"

"Since last night, Nazz gave me some basic lessons on skull magics." Cadance said with pride. "Why don't you teach this anymore? We wouldn't have problems with changelings if we had an army of dead on our side."

"Yeah, but most ponies don't agree with raising the Dead. Its become a taboo nowadays, but then again most ponies have forgotten about it." Dead sighed. "Well I could teach you, back at Ponyville. I mean if you want... As long as it doesn't get in way of Ditzy and Rarity." Dead then took a seat next to Cadance, she would later regret this action.

"Speaking of Rarity, how is she? I mean you didn't get to talk much earlier." Cadance said as nudged Dead.

"Cadance I know you could easily see how Rarity was before last night, you tell me. What did she look like?" Admittedly Dead didn't really feel like talking to Cadance, the two had never had much interaction before hand and Dead would have just settled for light talk.

"She was a wreck Dead, I mean I'm good at sensing love and she had it in the boatloads." Cadance sighed. "I don't know why she let it get so bad."

"I know Cadance." Dead placed her hoof on Cadance's shoulder. "I couldn't let it go on. Hence why I did what I did, and let her do what she did."

"Your a good friend Dead, a really good friend. I don't know any pony that would another pony have sex with them while both parties unwilling..." Cadance laughed. "Well one side being half unwilling, half about to give way to an emotional flood."

"She took a bit of prompting, but after that..." Dead grinned.

"What kind of spell did you use? I have gathered that it was a simple sense enhancing spell." Cadance asked.

"It was along the lines of that, I had also energized her as well. But the sense spell also enhanced a primal feature..."

"That's a very old spell Dead. Before you were born old..."

"Marcia is a good teacher, she has been locked in a teenagers body for so many years." Dead laughed. "As I was saying..."

"Wait Dead, before we can go on. How do you think you and Rarity will work out? Will you try and make it work?"

"I will do everything I can to make it work. And what I told Rarity wasn't exactly a lie. I was kind of surprised when Ditzy suggested expanding our little love circle."

"Well that's certainly a present turn." Cadance patted Dead on the back. "I wish you luck."

"You would not believe who Ditzy suggested. But anyway, I mentioned Rarity and she seemed to be okay, if not happy. Then it was the matter of convincing Rarity."

"You had to convince Rarity of something she knew. But would not admit it." Cadance sighed. "I'm glad she did after all. Now tell me... Do you have any other ponies you would like to catch in your web of love?" Cadance said with a smirk. Dead locked up for a moments before sighing and relaxing.

"Come visit me in my dream sometime. Then I will share that list with you, just not here right now. The other necromancer are probably listening in. Especially Grim, I know him too well." Dead chuckled. After she finished chuckling a silence fell over the two. After a few minuets Cadance decided to ask Dead a burning question.

"Hey Dead, could you give me a few pointers on Bone-weaving?" Cadance asked. "I learnt the basics of skull spells and I fancy learning Bone-weaving, Nazz made it seem like so much fun!" Cadance clapped her hoof and looked at Dead with puppy eyes.

"What do you want to learn?" Dead asked Cadance. "I'm happy to teach you, the world could always use more evil necromancers." Dead chuckled.

"Hey I'm not evil! Yet..." Cadance chuckled. "I just want to learn how to make a basic shield, it might scare Shining if he wakes up and I'm in a shroud of bones."

"Oh a bone shield!" Dead laughed. "Those are foals play. The trick is to swirl the bones around you at an absurd speed. That way they cover as much as you as possible."

"I know that, I have read all the theory. I just don't know how to pull bones out the earth." Cadance sighed. "I have read that bone calling is a simple spell. Yet I can't even get it right in the practicing arena..."

"Don't worry, at least you didn't completely fail at it. I can see that the bones have moved slightly in the area." Dead said reassuring Cadance.

"Really?" Cadance said with renewed hope. "How did you do on your first try?"

"I flared up and cause a boneplosion. They are a lot worse then they sound." Dead sighed.

"I thought you raised the dead when you first discovered your power?" Cadance asked, thinking that Dead was changing her history to reassure her.

"I did, but my talent is Bone-weaving. Hence the skull for a cutie mark." Dead said. "But anyway show me your casting and I will give you some pointers..." Dead started as she set about teaching Cadance a bit of necromancy.
