Rarity confronts Twilight about Dead after she talks to Cadance

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Dead had fallen asleep in the showers with Rarity, given the rough night she had she was lucky to have gotten any sleep at all. Dead rolled over on the cold bone surface of the shower box. "Urgh. I need to make this up to Ditzy somehow." Dead laughed as Rarity stirred. "Hey Rarity and good morning. Enjoy last night?" Rarity rolled over.

"Dead, next time give me a warning before you are going to jump me. And before you bite back, yes I did." Rarity stood up and offered her hoof to Dead, who was still on the floor. "Come on Dead, I don't know how to get out of here." Dead took Rarity's hoof and got up.

"Thanks Rarity, I have to say out of all the sexual encounters I have had. That was in the top five." Dead chuckled at Rarity.

"But you said you have only slept with Ditzy twice, and besides her there is only me."

"Exactly!" Dead winked at Rarity and started charging her teleportaion spell. "Now we should end up in the library, its directly above us." Dead's horn flashed and the pair were in the middle of the library. Dead turned her attention to Cadance who was sprawled out on a table. She was asleep and a large puddle of drool was around her mouth. "Hey Rarity, look at Cadance." Dead held back her snickering.

"She looks like she has gotten minuets of sleep!" Rarity exclaimed. " We should leave her be. I would hate to see Cadance grouchy." Rarity said as she pulled Dead towards the exit. "Lets go before we wake her up."

"To late..." Cadance said groggily. "But I'm not grouchy, Nazz came in earlier and energized me." Cadance got up. "I feel so much better for that brief rest." Cadance looked at the puddle of droll by her mouth. "Nazz warned me that I might drool... Oh that reminds me, how did your night go you two?"

"Well..." Dead started. "It was a bit slow at first." Dead sighed.

"I didn't want to do it. You know that Dead." Rarity huffed at Dead.

"And yet you did Rarity, don't try and say you didn't want it." Dead said smugly.

"I may have wanted it. But I didn't want to do it to you! You weren't comfortable with it."

"Rarity, I did it for you. And yes, while at first I didn't really feel comfortable with it, but I was enjoying by round two."

"Twice?!?" Cadance said sounding shocked. "I know you didn't know much about Dead, but sheesh slow down!" As much as Cadance hated to admit it, she was a little shocked by Dead. Twilight and her friends had given her this idea that Dead was a recluse similar to Fluttershy, and they also gave her the idea that Dead would be a slow lover. But no, by the looks of things Dead was getting the hang of it, and fast.

"Yes Cadance, the first time Dead cast a some sort of spell that enhance my sense, all it took was a tiny action to set me off. I wasn't in control at all..." Rarity sighed. "And Cadance next time. Don't force me to do that."

"Rarity, if I had let you go on like you were... I don't know what would have happened. And frankly I wouldn't want to be near you when you exploded. But what has happened has happened. We can't go back." Cadance sighed. "I am sorry I forced you into it Rarity, but I couldn't bare to see another pony do something insane because they have bottled their emotions."

"Oh really? And when was the last time?" Dead said, trying to nose in.

"That is a tale for another day Dead. Now Dead, I take it you cleaned up?" Cadance said smugly, she knew that Dead was in a shower earlier.

"Of course, how else would I got my mane this nice." Dead teased as she ran her hoof through her mane to prove her point.

"Alright Dead, as if you did that..." Rarity said rolling her eyes.

"You did Dead's mane Rarity? I must say it looks nice." Cadance said causing Rarity to blush slightly and Cadance decided to do something rather cruel. "So Rarity, do you see yourself with Dead in a few years? Maybe you, Dead and Ditzy? Living in a mansion?" Rarity's blush intensified, and Dead started to blush slightly. "Look at you two, soooo cute!" Dead's face flustered red as she fell on the floor.

"Well done Cadance, you made her faint for embarrassment." Rarity picked Dead and laid her out on a long bench. "Now what?"

"Well I'm going back to studying!" Cadance cheered as she buried her head in a book. "Oh and I will keep an eye on Dead for you. Maybe you should see Twilight, I doubt she got much sleep." Cadance called out. Rarity sighed and headed to the bunk rooms.

"Twilight!" Rarity called out as she threw the door to the bedroom open. "Twilight I need some advice!" Rarity sang out. Twilight woke up and rustled under the covers.

"Rarity." Twilight said flatly. "Cadance has kept me awake all night. Can I just have five minuets to rest?" Just was Twilight finished a ghost appeared above the bed. A ethereal blue bolt fired from the ghost and hit Twilight, who yelped and sprung out of bed at the sudden shock. "What was that for?"

"An energizing spell. To prevent students sleeping in." The ghost said as it vanished.

"Urgh this place, its like a haunted house.

"That's the idea Sparkle!" Marcia shouted out.

"And the necromancers..."

"Tutors! While we are here!"

"The 'tutors' seem to have ears everywhere! I can say anything without them listening in." Twilight sighed. "Let me guess, its about what happened with you and Dead last night?" Twilight asked.

Rarity lost her trail of though and stumbled. "Me and Dead... Oh! Yes that is why I need your help Twilight! I don't know what to do. I mean Dead was rather ummmm."

"Forward?" Twilight said expecting Rarity to say yes.

"Not at all, well maybe the second time." Rarity sighed as she foresaw Twilight's reaction.

"You did it twice?" Twilight said sounding shocked.

"Why is that such a big thing all of a sudden?" Rarity sighed.

"You are aware that this is Dead, who just a few weeks ago had her first interaction with living ponies for a thousand years. The same Dead who didn't know Rainbow was hitting on her."

"Alright Twilight I get it, but now. Please can you help me?" Rarity pleaded to Twilight.

"I will try, I did promise Dead I would try and help her." Twilight said, sounding a bit too confident.

"Dead suggested that Ditzy is okay with me and Dead being in a relationship. As long as Dead maintained her relationship with Ditzy." Rarity stopped speaking and looked at Twilight, signaling her to say something.

"I don't see the issue. But I haven't heard it all." Twilight held back the urge to roll her eyes at Rarity and nodded for her to go on.

"Well you see, during our... Second round I was a bit more stable, so to speak. Dead suggested that both her and Ditzy had taken an interest in me and suggested that we all date each other..." Rarity admitted.

"I see.. I still don't see an issue, unless you don't want to date Ditzy." Twilight said with a matter-of-fact tone. It was clear that she did not understand Rarity'd predicament.

"Its not that, but... Does that kind of dating even happen? What will ponies say about us?" Rarity said as she locked her eyes with Twilight's hoping to coax a simple answer.

"Its more common then you think nowadays, while a century ago it would be considered wrong, but times have changed. You will likely run into a few groups that are in the same status as you." Twilight said happily. She took pride in helping both Rarity and Dead with their love life.

"So you're suggesting that I go with it?" Rarity asked curiously.

"Only if you want to Rarity. I don't think you should do anything you don't want to do." Twilight said, slowly moving closer to Rarity.

"I owe Dead, a lot." Rarity said as Twilight started to circle her.

"That's no reason for you to force yourself into doing something you don't want to do." Twilight said, trying reassure Rarity.

"No Twilight, I said we did it twice. but the first time we did it, Dead did not want to." Rarity admitted as she stared at the dark blue rug she was stood on.

"What!?" Twilight said in shock.

"Its not like that Twilight, she cast a sense enhancement spell on me! She accepted that it was going to happen at least once." Rarity hastily explained. "Honestly Twilight, I didn't want to..."

"I see, so she forced you to force her into having sex." Twilight tried to hold back her eye rolling, but couldn't.

"Yes! That's it!" Rarity exclaimed.

"It was a force within a force?" Twilight chuckled slightly.

"I guess so?" A confused Rarity responded.

"Regardless Rarity, I don't think you should get involved with both Dead and Ditzy if you don't want to." Twilight placed her hoof on Rarity's shoulder.

"But, I kind of do..." Rarity admitted, sounding full of shame.

"That's not a bad thing Rarity, and if you ever need help or a shoulder to cry on. I'm here for you." Twilight said in a serious tone.

"Thank you Twilight, you are such a good friend." Rarity said, tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Come on Rarity, don't get all teary on me! We need to get ready for the day. I doubt the necromancers will let us spend all day in bed or relaxing!" Twilight said sounding full of energy and expecting to hear a necromancer shout at her,

"You got that right Sparkle!" Grim shouted out.

"Urgh! I hate how they are always listening in!" Twilight pouted.

"Deal with it!" Grim hollered out.
