The party had just started, a few ponies from around the town had been attracted to the large celebration. Dead was chatting happily away to a small group of ponies.

"And then I said, 'sure its all well and good you telling me that, but what happens when the skeletal dragon bursts from the ground and eats you, again and again and again?' And the of course that scared the poor griffon half to death and he ran back to his clan." Dead chuckled happily. "Not too long after that the griffons stopped sending assassins after me." A few of the ponies backed away from Dead and a few grew closer. Dead shuffled around awkwardly , a few of the ponies picked up on this and decided to try and break the ice.

"So how long were hiding from the griffon empire then?" One of the ponies asked.

"Not much longer then a few hundred years. After they found out I wasn't dead they sent a few assassins after me, but I was able to scare them away pretty quickly. After that they stopped." Dead chuckled and disengaged from the group. "Well I got to go find Pinkie to find out what is happening." Dead said happily as she left the group.

After a few minutes of aimlessly wondering around Dead eventually Pinkie, she was in a large group and telling jokes. "And I was like 'OATMEAL? Are you crazy!' And they were like whhhhaaatttt?" Pinkie laughed and the rest of the group joined in. Despite the party only just starting a large amount of ponies had show up. As soon as Pinkie noticed Dead she quickly ran over and happily greeted Dead. "And here's the birthday mare herself!"

As funny as Pinkie blurting out my age earlier was, I was rather reluctant to talk to ponies. A few 'you're how old's!?' had brought me into the party rather quickly. Tell a couple of ponies about my relations with the griffons was uplifting, even if I lied about letting them live. Still, that was in the past, now I just wanted to know when the party was going to start.

"Hey Pinkie!" I greeted Pinkie happily, trying to guess what would come next. Pinkie was rather unpredictable at best.

"So what's on your mind?" Pinkie happily said. I really loved that about her, her perky attitude was always uplifting and she just seemed to make everpony happy as well. "Wait let me guess, you want your present!"

"Nope!" I happily announced, it always felt good telling ponies they were wrong. A part of the old me that remained prominent. "I just want to know what we have planned today." I stated plainly, Pinkie rubbed her chin and pulled a rather long list out of her mane. Rather then question how she kept that in her mane, I decided to remain quiet.

"Alright!  The party officially starts in an hour!" I really didn't know that Pinkie parties had a designated start time. "And around mid-day the DJ should arrive at the train station. We have a whole bunch of games planned. Some for adults and some for foals." I didn't bother questioning what'adult' games were planned. Pinkie's cheery attitude meant that she couldn't be sexual, or so I thought. "And during the evening we have the mature party for the older ponies, like Twilight." I resisted the urge to burst out laughing.

"Cool, I guess I will just mingle around for a bit. Its nice to getting know some new ponies!" I stated happily, Pinkie quickly jolted back into the small group she talking to. I wondered around for bit before bumping into Rainbow Dash, I spent the next two seconds wondering if I would regret bumping into her.

"Sup Dead, what's a sexy mare like you wondering around alone on her birthday?" It was odd, I was feeling a slight tinge of love and regret. "Have any issues with me hanging with you?" Slightly less regret now, and Rainbow's confident manner and smile made me feel warm inside.

"None at all." I stated happily, Rainbow quickly trundled next to be and bumped her flank into mine. "I see somepony is still a bit on." I joked, however Rainbow's blush seemed to suggest that it was true.

"Y-Yeah..." Rainbow cutely stuttered, it was always rather amusing watching her flounder when being put on the spot. "Not my fault were all so dam sexy." Rainbow happily stated as her confidence surged back. I chuckled, that was good and quick.

"So got any plans currently?" I asked, not like I had any plans. "Maybe we could go talk to somepony?" I suggested, but knowing Rainbow she would probably like to go somewhere a bit more privet.

"Uh..." Rainbow rubbed her chin. "I heard that Applejack has a small little table of food set up, maybe we could get a bite to eat?" Rainbow suggested and I nodded. "Alright then! Lets go!" Rainbow started to run ahead however my slow pace made her slow down so that she could walk next to me. Rainbow tried to hurry me, however I remained walking at my slow pace. Rainbow sighed. "Could you be any slower?"

"Yes, I can go a lot slower." I teased. "But I won't right now." I giggled happily and Rainbow rolled her eyes, teasing Rainbow was all too fun. "Come on Rainbow, lighten up. It is my birthday after all. Even if things are a little slow." I giggled again, I sounded like a school filly.

We walked for a while, around Rarity's house and towards Applejack's farm. A small stall was set up just between the halfway point at the edge of the party.  A small sunny patch from a hole in the cloud cloud made the little stall look bright in comparison to the rest of the party, which was under dark clouds. Applejack and her little sister were tending the stall to make sure nopony helped themselves to food before the party started.

"Howdy!" Applejack greeted me and Rainbow with her stranded greeting, like every time I saw her. Rainbow quickly ran up and attempted to charge the food stall while I sat down and rolled my eyes, it was obvious what was going to happen here. Rainbow picked up speed and attempted snatch a few apple treats, however she was defected by Applejack. "Rainbow! If everypony ate some now there wouldn't be any for the party!" Applejack shouted as Rainbow got up and huffed, once again I found myself chucking happily to Rainbow's failed plan.

"Rainbow, we could always wait until the party starts." I suggested jokingly, a small smile crept onto Rainbow's face.

"Didn't we just eat out?" I sighed and my hoof slapped into my face with enough force to knock me backwards. I sat back up and frowned at Rainbow, who was now sporting a massive grin while Applejack's jaw was dropped slightly. Rainbow turned and looked at Applejack, she then burst out laughing and fell to the floor.

"Really Rainbow? How old are you? Two?" I angrily said. "Act your age not your IQ." I smiled and Rainbow paused for a grand total of ten seconds.

"...Hey!" Rainbow frowned and got up. "Not funny." I started to smile, this was going to be fun.

"No, the really funny part was the fact that it took you ten seconds to connect the dots. You may be the fastest flyer, but you are by no means the fastest thinker." I taunted Rainbow and my smile grew bigger, even Applejack was starting to giggle slightly. I decided to pull the plug before Rainbow made an even bigger idiot of herself. "Come on Rainbow, we can come back later. I want to see what game Pinkie has arranged!" I eagerly said, when Rainbow remained still I threw on my best puppy eyes and pleaded. "Pleaseeeeeeee!" I knew what Rainbow was going to say next.

"Hm, I guess we could check out the games. But first..." I didn't give Rainbow a chance to finish, I jumped onto her and pulled her into a deep kiss. She gently opened her mouth and I was quick to start wrestling with her tongue. The kiss lasted for a few seconds before I pulled out and turned my attention to Applejack.

"Sometime you got to give baby it's bottle." I joked. "We will be leaving you in peace now." I started to walk away and Rainbow quickly jumped up and followed me. I sighed happily as Rainbow caught up with me.

"Way to tease me." Rainbow huffed evidently having sex in front of one of her friends was alright by her standards. "I'm sure Applejack wouldn't of minded." I sighed.

"And her sister? Did you stop to think of her?" I sighed. "She was under the table, hence why I stopped when I did." I rolled my eyes and then began walking aimlessly, I had no clue where I was going. "Rainbow, you're normally good when it come to non-sexual games. What do you recommend?" I asked.

"Well personally I would..." Rainbow started as we headed into the slowly forming party.

A few hours later... just before midday.

I bobbed my head underwater for the seventh time, for the life of me I could not seem to get an apple. It wasn't fair, everpony else had an apple except me. Sure my friends had offered me an apple, but its not the same as winning one. I brought my head up and sighed, once again my mouth was appleless. I took a deep breath and dived again, I was going to get an apple, even if it killed me. I failed again and had to come up for air.

"Dead, I don't want you hurting yourself. Please stop." I heard Cherilee say. I quickly turned to see if I could see her, she was coming over from a nearby pumpkin-catapult that had been re-purposed to fire mock skulls that were on fire. Rainbow smiled as Cherilee stood next to her. "You've been going at it for an hour now, maybe you should stop." Cherilee sighed and pulled a sad puppy face, there was no way I was diving back down now... I sighed and pulled away from the bucket and gave it a cold glare, that caused the water to freeze over. I sighed at my uncontrollable burst of ice energy.

"Finally!" Rainbow cheered, mocking my failure by celebrating my defeat.  "The DJ should be here any moment, we don't want to miss out on the good spots."

"Oh and Dead, happy birthday!" Cherilee said happily, aside from Pinkie she had been the only one to say that. Most of the ponies knew it but didn't say it.

"Thanks, Cherilee." I said rather flatly, but my smile showed how happy I was. The three of us started walking towards the makeshift stage that had been set up, a large amount of ponies were waiting outside the boundaries of it and a few bouncers were prevent ponies from entering. The three of us made our way over to one of the bouncers, before he could stop us I stated our intentions. "Dead, Rainbow and Cherilee. Should be on the list." I once again wondered to myself. 'How did Pinkie pull this all together?'

"Ummm..." The bouncer pulled out a note pad and flicked through it quickly. "Yep, that checks out alright." The bouncer stepped aside and let us past. A gave him a small 'thank you' smile. The large makeshift stage had a few VIPs sat down already, some at the back and some right up close to the front.

"So where do we sit?" I asked. "I don't see Ditzy or Rarity at the moment so I guess that means we get to choose where we sit." Rainbow stopped in her tracks and surveyed the small area.

"Lets go over there!" Rainbow said a tad too loud for my liking. The three of us were sat near the back right next to a small food table. "Ah this is the life." Rainbow sat down and I sat down next to her, Cherilee then sat down next to me. I sighed happily and Cherilee leaned into my neck and Rainbow draped her wing over me, I was rather content in staying like this for the time being. Rainbow yawned rather loudly. "So I wonder what the others are up to?"

"Rarity!" Marcia happily announced as she opened the door to the clothes shop. She paused for a moment and smelled the air. "I will not ask about that smell..." Marcia chuckled happily briefly. "Rarity? Are you in? The sign said open."

"Just a moment darling, I'm getting the dress ready." Rarity called out from the back of the store. "Just wait right there!" Marcia sighed and sat down on a chair and tapped her chin with one of her claws. Rarity quickly came out from the back store. "I do hope you like it, I tried to avoid making it too frilly." Rarity levitated a elegant dress out from the store room, the color scheme compliment Marcia's natural orange scales and green underbelly. A few engravings on the dress added to the effect but did not draw attention away from the wearer. Rarity levitated the elegant dress over to Marcia and dropped it in her claws.

Marcia was quick to put it on, she walked over to the large mirror and stood up straight and examined her reflection. The dress itself was a dark red, various little skull and tear drops were embroidered in silver and black thread. "I look amazing! I love it!" Marcia giggled happily. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Marcia quickly ran outside and return with a large backpack in her claws. She reached into the bag and pulled out a moderately large sack. She shock the sack and it jingled slightly. "Five-hundred bits should cover labor." Marcia placed the sack down next to Rarity and opened it. "All genuine, no fakes or rocks. I am a honest dragon."

"F-F-Five hundred?" Rarity stuttered. "F-For a single dress? Are you sure?" Rarity sat back on the floor.

"Of course, a custom made dress for a teenage dragon is rare to come by. And besides, being a necromancer earns me around a thousand bits a month. Yeah, dragons pay well if you are vital to the survival of everything." Marcia chuckled. "Do you mind me asking how long it took to make?"

"Not too long, the longest part was designing the dress. I wanted something that captured your personality, but didn't scream necromancer or be to frilly." Rarity stated. "Are you interested in buying some more?"

"Yep! Maybe five... And that will be two-thousand and five hundred bits, I think I will pay in advance." Marcia chuckled and pulled an even larger bag of bits out her backpack. "You would be surprised how much bits you save when you don't need to eat or pay for medical care, or a house, or anything except the odd trip to the spa and the bathing pools." Marcia sat back down. "I think I will enchant this one for now..." Marcia took the dress off and levitated in a pale white energy that radiated from her claws and spines. The dress pulsed and then settled back down in her claws. "Perfect! I will wear this during the evening party!" Marcia happily announced, she turned and then left the clothes shop.

Rarity got up and levitated the two bag of bits. "Three thousand bits in one day..." Rarity chucked to herself and then locked up and headed towards the makeshift stage near her house.

At the end of the party Dead goes a tad bit crazy and summons something up... That is all I am saying MUHAHAHAHAHAHA
