Waking up deep into the afternoon, Big Mac stretches his large and powerful legs. His entire body was aching and didn't want to get up, but he forced it. He brought himself down the ladder and landed at the bottom with a 'thud'.

"Now that's what I'll call a good sleepin'." Big Mac smiled. He walked past the fly covered corpse of Applejack and he shruged. "She'll learn next time not'ta bug me so much." Big Mac sneered.

Big Mac had a new feeling welling inside of him. It wasn't one of regret or even nervousness. But one of a new-found liberty. He wouldn't have to work for another day in his life if he didn't want to! And that's what he planned. Never working again as long as he could manage.

He simply walked out of the Macintosh shaped hole in the barn door.

"Macintosh! Applejack! Time fer supper!" Applebloom called from the front porch of their home.

Finally. Macintosh thought. Murdering somepony takes a lot out of a stallion.

Making his way inside, he was met with two large eyes from his littlest sister, Applebloom.

"Hey.. Where's Applejack? She's always in before you are, Mac!" Applebloom asked with a inquisitive look in her eye.

"Heh, don't ya' worry 'bout her none. Prolly just runnin' around with 'er friends. Ya' know how she is 'bout them." Mac said as he sat down at the kitchen table.

Applebloom looked down and nodded, "Yeah, I know what'cha mean." She walked up to the table and noticed a bit of things in Mac's mane and coat. She moved her hoof across his coat and looked down at the red creamy stuff. "Hey! Mac, what's this?"

Big Mac looked over and realized that he was still covered in his sister's brainmatter and skull fragments. He had to come up with a lie, fast! "Er. That's just som' jam I got inta' earier." He said with a grimace.

Applebloom smiled widely and shoved her hoof into her mouth, "MMM!" She cooed. "It's really really good!" She continued to drag her tongue across Mac's coat.

Big Mac appreciated the cleaning, but he got up and sighed. "Sorry, 'Bloom. Gonna go and get washed up."

"Okay!" Applebloom smiled as she sat down at her place at the table with a bloody smile.

Big Mac smiled and went into the bathroom to stare at himself in the mirror.

"What's goin' on with me? I done went and murdered my little sis, not ta' mention the element of honesty!"

The mirror stared back at Mac and it started to talk with him. "Nah, she deserved it. Damn girl needed to learn ta' keep'er mouth shut. You done showed 'er the way, Mac. I'm proud of ya'."

Big Mac looked up into the mirror with a smile. "Really? Ya' proud of me, Mac?"

The Reflection Mac nodded, with a warm smile. "Now get yerself clean, Mac. Can't have ye' gettin Granny Smith knowin' what ya' did."

Big Mac nodded and started at washing away the fragments and spats of blood on him. He took the fragments and threw them into the trashcan next to him, then covered it with a bunch of nearby cloth.

The Relfection Mac nodded. "Lookin' good there, Mac. Now, long as you keep this 'ere thing to yerself, ain't nobody gonna know!"

Big Mac nodded and walked out of the bathroom with a smile. He sat down at the table and began to eat with Granny Smith, who just returned with a tray full of apple tarts and apple pie. "Eat up!"

Applebloom smiled and dug her face into the apple treats, Big Mac kind of lost his appetite.
