Night 2: Night Watch not on Night Watch (Part 3)

12:20 A.M

“What game is that?” Night Watch asked nervously, feeling Freddy’s arm tighten him.

“A game,” he whispered.

“Chica, how about you?” Night Watch’s eyes begged to get out of the situation. But she was out cold, falling asleep on his lap. He suddenly remembered Bonnie, but he didn’t know where she was. Unbeknownst to him, the bunny was clinging onto his torso. Night Watch thought that was just Freddie.

“Oh, Chica doesn’t need to play this game,” Freddie said, his speech becoming slurred. “This game just involves me, coffee, and you.”

Before Freddie took another sip, Night Watch quickly swatted it out of the giant paw. “Don’t drink anymore!” Night Watch said, “It’s getting into your head!!”

“My head?” he asked, pointing to himself.

“Yes! It’s just all in your head!!”

The next thing Night Watch knew, Freddie was attempting to take his head off. The head of Freddie came off with a ‘pop’, exposing a pony’s exoskeleton underneath it. A skeletal smile with bright red eyes stared into Night Watch’s soul.

Brown liquid and sparks made the head jitter. Freddie’s head rolled to the ground with a clunk. “It’s all inside here,” Freddie said, rubbing his silver skull.

Night Watch was lost for words. The skeleton looked identical to a pony’s. Its reflection was like the silver color of the kitchen. The demonic eyes peered over. Night Watch winced and closed his eyes. “Now, the game.”

Night Watch whimpered and felt giant hands grab him.

12:30 A.M

“Mr. Nighty, would you like a cup of tea?” Freddie asked with a slur. Night Watch wore a pink dress and a silly little hat, shivering with fright. Freddie’s metal skeleton poured “tea” into a little plastic tea cup.

Night Watch did not speak up. He didn’t want to. “And how about you, Lucky Charms?” Freddie asked towards a headless doll. The three sat at a small kiddie table, located in the back of the restaurant. From the looks of it, it must’ve been a storage closet. Old hunks of metal parts littered around. Night Watch felt something like a bolt or a nut up his butt. He didn’t want to move, but he had somehow sat on something and it had just dawned upon him.

Luck Charms wore a small green shirt and had no pants. Bare tan arms stuck out and limped like a ragdoll. “Oh, more tea, Lucky Charms?” Freddie asked again. He gestured in pouring tea again. He spun towards Night Watch. “Ain’t this fun?” he asked.

Night Watch weakly shivered. The bear’s skeleton spoke, “I’m glad you’re-” Freddie suddenly stopped talking, the color of his eyes fading away. Night Watch jerked away, fluttering the pink dress. Freddie sat on the ground shut down, now empty and void. The stallion held his breath. The darkness was closing around him. Night Watch fumbled for a source a light, but soon bit his bottom lip. He remembered that the Torch was left in the kitchen. He grabbed his pink dress and screamed quietly to himself.

He didn’t even know what had happened even happened. It was just absurd. He was sitting inside a dark storage room, having a tea party with Freddie and Lucky Charms in the middle of the night.

Night Watch curled up in a ball and gave a regretful sigh. “I could be at home, just relaxing and resting. I wonder why I even signed up for this shit.” With that said, he was replied with the black storage room. He did not dare look at Freddie. His skeleton was too pony-like. It had arms and legs, but the head’s structure was oddly similar to a stallion’s.

“H-He’s shut down, right?” Night Watch asked himself, “The coffee must’ve gone into his power source or something.” He continued to ramble on to assure himself that everything was just fine. He took a deep breath and got up.

The curiosity about the skeleton soon got the better of him. With little baby steps, he slid towards the downed metal figure. He could only see the outlines because of the darkness, but getting closer, it had an alien’s touch to it. The metal looked something of another world. Night Watch scratched his head. He briskly touched the metal, his fingers leaving a bit of heat on the shell.

He was unaware that the skeleton had started to shake. Night Watch gave a nervous chuckle. “Oh, everything is just fine. Everything is jus-”

“N-No!! Get away!” Freddie’s voice cried out.

What Night Watch felt next was a blow to the head and the pitch black.

3:01 A.M

“N-Night Watch?” Bonnie’s voice whispered, “Please, wake up.”

Night Watch slowly opened his eyes to see Bonnie’s face staring back. “Wha-What happened?” he asked, rubbing his head.

She smiled. “I’m glad you didn’t die.”

He didn’t know how to respond to that. “Uh. Well. Yeah, I didn’t die,” he replied, giving a thumbs up. “Anyway, do you know what happened?”

“N-No. When I woke up, I found Chica passed out on the floor and Freddie in the back of the bathroom. I just found you here, in the storage room with Lucky Charms.” She held the doll in her arms and hugged it. “I, don’t feel warmth,” she said with disappointment.

“It is just a doll,” Night Watch said, “Besides, the warmth you’re talking about leans more towards the temperature.”

“But… I like the warm temperature,” Bonnie whispered, blushing red in the face. Night Watch could see that she wanted to say something, but just needed a little bit more time. He waited, before she finally spoke. “Can I hug you?” she asked, placing Lucky Charms on the table.

Night Watch blinked, surprised of such a request. “Yeah, of course.” Bonnie giggled like a little girl before thrusting herself onto him. The sheer weight of metal crushed him, making him grunt in pain. A large thwack combined with a crunch was covered by the noise of Bonnie, laughing as she wrapped her arms around Night Watch.

“I love you, Night Watch!” she cheerily exclaimed, digging her face into his chest.

He gave a look of more than just surprised. He was shocked that a shy girl like her was able to say that out loud. But then again, the pain pressing against his abdomen and legs were overwhelming.

“I-I love you too…” he whispered back hoarsely.

4:33 A.M

“That’s funny, I don’t remember anything,” Chica said as Night Watch scrubbed the last of the coffee from the kitchen floor. “Oh, and where’s Freddie?”

“He just disappeared,” Bonnie replied, “Something must have happened that scared him.”

Night Watch froze in his tracks and began to shake. Did Freddie know what had happened last night? Did he know that he had created a tea party up and forced him to wear a pink dress? Night Watch suddenly remembered the pink dress. B-Bonnie didn’t find me with it on, right?

He looked up towards Bonnie, and she looked down on him. “What is it, Night Watch?” she asked.

“Oh. Just nothing.” He threw the rag into the sink and began to wash his hands. A sudden chill made him shiver and cower down. “Wow!! It’s really cold now!!” he yelled, trying to keep warm. “Is there anything I can wear? Anything? I can feel the stain on my ass getting colder and colder.”

In the silence that followed it, a small metal bolt popped from his tush.

“I know something you can wear,” Chica spoke up, breaking the ice that surrounded Night Watch.

5:47 A.M

“Here are the uniforms!” Chica chirped. Her winged hands thrusted a shirt and pants onto his chest. Night Watch could only manage a cough. His right eyeball twitched from the sleep deprivation and what he had witnessed at night. It also horrified him that it took a few hours to search for the clothing. “You look awful,” Chica said with worry. She gave a pat on his head. “Are you sure you can work?”

He nodded. Chica replied with a smile. “Okay! Good! Oh, and I think you should try some coffee,” she suggested, “Father drinks it all the time to keep himself awake.”

The word ‘coffee’ made Night Watch jump, his reaction oblivious by the bird. The stallion got a flash of images that consisted of Freddie, Lucky Charms and coffee. “N-Never again,” he whispered to himself. “I’ll be checking on Freddie and Bonnie!” Chica said before exiting out.

The tea party that he was forced to attend was imbedded in his mind. Freddie was feeling rape-y and Lucky Charms had a smug grin of wanting to cram a watermelon down his throat.

His rational thought and brain’s imagination was overloading, thinking up of even more outrageous events. Night Watch squatted down on the floor, shaking back and forth. “No. No. Nooo…” he repeated raspily.

“Good morning, Night Watch!” Mr. Frazzers said out of the blue, “Ready for the big day?”

“No…”

“Good!”

It was obvious that Mr. Frazzers didn’t hear what he said.

Amirite or amirite?

The next chapter will feature Night Watch's horrendous workday from his lack of sleep. It should be around the length of the birthday party chapter. Around 3k.

(I have about 1k done already by the way. It just shows how much I love you scrubs.)
(I also think I see 2 Author Note boxes. Or maybe it's just me.)
