You can't just pick up an instrument and instantly become talented at it! And some skills don't transfer over to others. I'm looking at you Missy Keytar! Unfortunately, our favorite humans who share pony counterparts only realize this at a time when they really need the skills and quick. So obviously they're going to do what any good musician would do: Try and make a deal with Old Scratch to give them sick rock skills. Turns out it's a lot easier than you'd think, but harder than you'd hope.
