Set Four Years after the original, the story follows the story of Ellie Bringer in her search for answers, both internal and external. However, as she meets others on her journey, she too discovers that war is brewing between two warring factions, the New Republic of Equestria and the Empire of Neighpon that threatens the future of Equestria and a mysterious group lurking in the shadows. In these discoveries, she learns the dark history of Equestria, seeing the grays behind every action, beliefs, and motives because war… war never changes.
