Dear Princess Celestia and Princess Luna,
To fight monsters we need monsters. I never thought I'd utter these words, let alone write them down on a note to you two but recent events have proven that our own methods of handling this matter have been futile. If not plain out useless. I believe you will agree with me when I say, that friendship wasn't meant to handle this kind of darkness. Even the ponies know this. Me and my friends have come into confrontation with other ponies who are in a state of paranoia and panic that they ask why haven't we handled protected them or their love ones from this evil. Every time we try to explain our reasons, they cut us off with accusations of lies and they wouldn't be wrong as we have to nothing but lies, justifiable maybe, but lies none the less. The ponies are beginning to lose faith in us and some have even begun to question both you and Luna's leadership. They believe you two don't care about them, which we know is not true but what this should show you Princesses, the same way It showed me, is that fear is beginning to cloud ever ponies judgment, if this continues than I fear that it will only be a matter of time before this horrible situation becomes worst. If that's even possible. But I believe we must now fight fire with fire. Since our options have run out and this is has always been a last resort that we knew, we'd have to consider but always hope it would never come to, considering the events that have happened using monsters to hunt down our own seems like the most necessary, if not logical move to make. Should you and Luna choose to take this option into consideration you must find a force that can look into the abyss, without flinching, see the horrors of these monsters and not be phased, and laugh death of as a joke. They must be worse than our own monsters, but still able to control. I truly wish it wouldn't have had to come to this, whatever choice you make, I know you'll both have everyponies best interest in mind. And I will stand by your sides no matter what.
Your fellow Princess, Twilight Sparkle.
Celestia finished the letter, than turned to look towards the distance of Ponyville. She looked at her sister, Luna and than back at Ponyville, pondering on Twilight's note. The choice she and Luna would have to make. Luna looked at her sister, still staring at Ponyville. She could see it in Celestia's face, she was thinking on what to do, same as Luna who wanted to hear her sisters opinion on the choice, that had to be made. Luna knew that her and Celestia, had to make this choice together.
"What is thou thinking sister?" Luna asked, breaking the silence.
"If the choice we make for our little ponies will help or make matters worse." Celestia answered, continuing to look at Ponyville. "I wish we had more options."
"I do to sister, however as Twilight stated we have none." Luna responded, feeling sadden that her and Tia had only one option. "Would thou tell me if she's made a decision?"
"I've already made my decision Luna. Same decision as you." Celestia said, looking at her sister with an emotionless look.
Luna wasn't surprised. Despite the knowledge, that summoning monster from another world, who could potentially be worse than their own, to combat their own. Would leave a bad taste in Celestia mouth, Luna's was also at odds with herself. On one hand they might have the solution to their nightmare, ponies will be able to sleep at night without the worry of death. Either that or they would turn a horrible situation into an even worse one, if that was even possible.
"Than it is settled?" Luna sake her sister.
Celestia did not respond, continuing to look at Ponyville, almost in a trance like state. Luna could understand why her sister wouldn't want to give her, a answer to this question, but time was of the essence. Regardless of the many "what if" scenarios that came to mind. Celestia needed to answer the question before any one of those monsters could strike again and more fear could sink into more ponies hearts. Luna poked Celestia's wing, to get her attention.
"Sister I know this is a difficult decision, to an even worse situation but I know you have an answer. Please speak it." Luna said, trying to sound compassionate but also firm.
"Yes. You are right sister." Celestia said, looking at Luna.
"Than we are in agreement?" Luna asked, expecting an answer this time.
"Yes, we will summon these otherworldly monsters to combat our own." Celestia said, reluctantly agreeing.
"Good. Let us gather Cadence and Twilight Sparkle, we will need their help." Luna said, she began walking towards Cadence's room. "I trust you will gather Twilight Sparkle personally, correct?"
"Yes." Celestia answered, giving one last glance at Ponyville before returning her gave back to Luna. "You will inform Cadence of our predicament yes?"
"Of course." Luna said.
Luna nodded her head, in a reassuring manner and than walked away, Celestia teleported herself to Twilight's library. She was met with by Spike, who had shielded his eyes from the flash of light the magic had produced, Spike removed his hand from his eyes view and was happy to see it was Celestia. He greeted her with a smile, Celestia returned the gesture.
"Hello Spike." Celestia said, sweetly.
"Hi Princess." Spike said.
"Oh Spike please call me Celestia." Celestia said, moving closer to Spike. "Can you tell me where Twilight is right now?"
"Up stairs in her room." Spike answered. "Would you like me to get her?"
"Please." Celestia said kindly.
"Twilight! Celestia's here!" Spike shouted.
Celestia let out a small giggle, at Spike's method of calling Twilight. Celestia couldn't remember the last time she had a good giggle, she had to appreciate these small moments of enjoyments, which seemed to be very rare these day, since all the killing had begun. Most of the time now her and Luna spent days figuring out a solution to solves this nightmare, reading help letters from ponies, and fearing when the next victim would be. Truly it was a dark time for pony kind. That thought was interrupted by the sounds of hooves running down the stairs. Twilight came running down to see her mentor.
"Princess Celestia hello." Twilight said giving a bow.
"Twilight please your a princess now and my friend there's no need for you to bow and please call me Celestia." Celestia said, walking towards her friend.
"Sorry, force of habit." Twilight admitted as her and Celestia chuckled together.
"I trust you know why I am here." Celestia asked.
"I'm actually a little afraid to answer that." Twilight admitted
"You fear my answer?" Celestia guessed.
"No I'm sure I can guess what choice you made. I fear what comes next after you tell me your answer." Twilight said, as honest as possible.
"Me to Twilight." Celestia said, a frown growing on her face. "Me to."
After telling Twilight of her and Luna's decision. Celestia teleports, herself and Twilight to the throne room. There they see Luna and
Cadence waiting for them. Cadence has a look of worry and fear, Obviously Luna had already explained everything. Now all that was left to do was start this meeting, than they could focus on summoning the otherworldly monsters for the task at hand.
"Cadence as always it is good to see you." Celestia said, getting close to her niece to give her a hug. "I just wish it was under better circumstances."
"I know auntie." Cadence said, breaking away from the hug to met her aunt face to face. "Luna explained everything to me, I still find it hard to believe this is the only option."
"Trust me Cadence if there where more options me and Luna would have taken them before even considering this." Celestia looked to her sister, Luna gave a nod to her. "And we have."
"It's just –” Cadence stopped when she saw Twilight. “– Twilight."
Twilight and Cadence walked to one another, they gave a hug but it was short lived, letting go and then looking at each other. Each gave a reassuring smile to signify that they where happy to see each other again.
"I know normally we do our sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake dance but considering the circumstances –" Cadence was interrupted when Twilight putted her hoof on Cadence.
"Considering the circumstances, I'm happy to see you again." Twilight said, making Cadence feel a little better.
"Me to. I know you still choose to live in Ponyville, I was worrying for your safety every day." Cadence said. "Shinning Armor to."
"How is Shinning Armor?" Twilight asked a hint of worry in her voice.
"He's fine. Him and his stallions are still looking for these monsters." Cadence said, a sad look grew on her face. "Even though he doesn't go out much, I still worry for him when he does."
"Well with this plan you may not have to worry long." Twilight said. "That being said, this meeting should begin."
"I agree." Luna looked to Celestia. 'Sister care to begin."
"Yes. As we all know this past year began with the murder of two ponies. Where we're all horrified by this but where also confident that we would find the perpetrator, but after two more murders. We than knew that this was a situation that would get worse before it gets better. Sadly that was not the case either, more murders became recent but each one was different than the last, meaning that as the year has progressed more ponies have been attacked some murdered, other crippled, many have vanished, and much worse has happened to ponies. We figured out that all of these are the results of other monsters appearing. They are among the population, this has resulted in us unable to find them." Celestia took a minute to catch her breath, this was all a lot to explain but once she caught her breath, Celestia continued her explanation. "With tensions rising and fear beginning to take over, with the suggestion of Twilight Sparkle, My sister and I have decided to fight fire with fire."
"What do you mean by that auntie?" Cadence asked, starting to get an idea of what they might be talking about, an idea she didn't like.
"I mean, we shall summon otherworldly monsters to our world to fight our monsters for us." Celestia said confirming Cadence's guess.
"But with all due respect auntie this seems like an idea that just has disaster written all over it." Cadence said, this idea did not sit well with her.
"Cadence, I know this is not the best sounding plan but as Twilight had stated our options have run out and we must now use our last one and sadly this is it." Celestia explained, seeing the understanding growing in Cadence's eyes.
"When all else fails fresh ideas are the best thing to come up with." Luna added. "No matter how bad they may seem."
"I understand." Cadence admitted, she knew they're options where running out but now she understood that reasonable options where all gone. "I'm in."
"Thank you Cadence." Celestia smiled at her niece, she than looked to Twilight. "Twilight?"
"I've been doing some calculation on this, and I've decide that two monsters should be good enough to handle this." Twilight said confidently. "Will provide them with the necessary information, housing, equipment, and any other resources that they will need. With reasonable use of course."
"And they will report back to of us of their progress I suspect." Luna asked, all for this plan but still a little skeptical on how it will all play through.
"Yes." Twilight said. "Everything they do, will be reported back to us."
"I have to ask, these are otherworldly monsters we'll be dealing with. How can we be sure they'll be controlled or won't turn against us?" Cadence asked sharing Luna's skepticism.
"Will have guards watching over them when they are not investigating and that will practically be most of the day." Twilight explained.
"Why not when they're investigating?'" Cadence asked not understanding the logic behind this.
"We'll have to give them some space to handle this their way, otherwise they might be more reluctant to help." Twilight said, hoping that would ease Cadence's worries.
For the most part it did. But Cadence was still a little worried about this, however knowing that these would be creatures from other worlds "helping" them didn't help her mind either. Considering the reasons for taking this option, made her more understanding towards this decision, besides she trusted Celestia, Luna, and Twilight and if they believed this was the right course of action to take than she would support them one hundred percent.
"So how do we do this? Where do we get these monsters from?" Cadence asked ready to get this started.
"I'm sure Celestia and Luna have that figured out right?" Twilight said confidently, as she looked at the two princesses.
"Yes, you are correct Twilight." Celestia looked at Luna. "Luna?"
"Right." Luna said, powering up her horn.
Luna used her magic to display a planet shape projection in the middle of the room. This unknown planet surprised and fascinated Twilight and Cadence. Would this be the planet where they would recruit they're monsters? How would the princesses be able to get these monsters here? A lot of questions came to mind, over this plan but the looks of Celestia and Luna, told them they had this part already planned out.
"Sister would you like me to explain or would you?" Luna asked.
"Does not bother me which one of us does it, you can decide Luna." Celestia said.
"I would like to then." Luna said, wanting to finally get a chance to explain something.
"Go ahead sister." Celestia said, smiling at her sister.
"Thank you. Now this planet is called Earth, it's inhabited by a species know as humans. These humans are in many ways the complete opposite of our species. They wage war, feel hate towards one another, even kill, and there are much worse things that I will not speak of. Regardless of their flaws they do have their good qualities but that's a story for another time, what we need from them though is two of their most merciless and monstrous humans for this task." Luna took a moment to catch her breath, she now understood what Tia felt like during these explanations. "But they will also have to be intelligent, patient, and most importantly reasonable."
"Are these creatures really the best you can fine." Cadence asked, not in a complaining manner but in a worried tone. "How can we be so sure they'll be reliable enough to help us?"
"Despite their flaws, they are not mindless animals. They do have intelligence." Luna explained, confident this would put Cadence's mind at ease. "This is a factor that will work to our advantage. If we where to pick two creatures with animalistic instincts we'll only be making the situation worse. These humans are the best we can fine."
"I think the biggest questions should be what methods will these humans use to help us? Will they be able to handle these grotesque horrors? And how will we convince them to get involved in our problems?" Twilight added, more curious on how this plan would executed.
"Me and Luna have already thought about those questions, I can assure you we have this thought it." Celestia said, trying to answer Twilight's curiosity and calm Cadence's worries.
"How would we be able to teleport a human, from Earth to Equestria?" Cadence asked, asking a question Celestia could answer.
"That is another reason, besides this meeting, for why you and Twilight are here." Celestia said, ready to explain the next step of the plan. "All of us are Alicorns. With the power of are magic combined together, I believe we can create a teleportation spell powerful enough to bring two of these humans to Equestria."
"I apologize to say, that this is the only question we can answer for the time being." Luna interjected. "But it is only a matter of time before the next victim appears."
Twilight and Cadence looked at each other and nodded there heads, they might still have some unanswered questions but they trusted the princesses. Besides Luna was right, they where in a rush, who knows how long it would be before the next victim would fall prey to their own worlds monsters. They would get their answers from the princesses later, but one final question had to be asked before they began.
"Who are the two humans you've chosen to help us?" Twilight asked, expecting an answer for this question.
"John "The Hitcher" Ryder" Luna said, answering half of Twilight's question.
"Dr. Hannibal Lecter." Celestia said, completing the answer.
Chapter 2: Executing The Plan
Twilight Sparkle and Cadence felt a chill go down their spines, at the mention of those humans name. They weren't sure what it was about those names but they just knew that they should feel a sense of fear. This feeling confirmed both of them, the princesses found the right monsters to fight for them. Celestia took notice to this and smiled, whatever doubts Twilight and Cadence had about these two humans where gone, now the could focus on getting John and Hannibal to Equestria, which wasn't going to be easy but worth the trouble. Celestia looked at Luna and gave her a nod. Luna was glad to be getting this plan underway. Despite her calm demeanor, Luna was very worried for the ponies of Ponyville, time was not on their side and for every moment they spent on this plan, the sooner another pony would meet a horrific end.
"Are we ready to begin now?" Luna asked, her tone said she wanted to hurry.
"Yes, I believe we are ready." Celestia looked at Twilight an Cadence. "Right girls?"
Twilight and Cadence looked at each other and than looked back at Celestia and gave her a nod.
"Yes auntie we're ready." Cadence said, answering for her and Twilight.
"Good. Now please follow me." Celestia asked.
Luna, Twilight, Cadence followed behind Celestia, Luna being the only pony to know where they where going. Celestia lead the small group of alicorns to the room where Cadence and Shining Armor had their wedding. And the whole changeling invasion incident took place. Around them was a circle shape in the middle of the room.
"What's this for?" Twilight asked, examining the circle more closely.
"This white substance will help us focus all are magic on the teleportation spell." Luna explained, making it out a lot more simpler than it looked.
"That's it." Twilight asked, still a little skeptical that it was really that simple. "I was expecting a more complicated explanation."
"Me to." Cadence added, agreeing with Twilight. "Not trying to sound disrespectful but that sounded way to simple to be true. Considering what we'll have to do."
Celestia and Luna led out small giggles, at Twilight and Cadence reactions, not in a rude manner but in a amused one. To them it was like giving a explanation to a filly, about how a snowflake was made and seeing their awe faces.
"Twilight and Cadence I can assure you that it is that simple." Celestia said, livening the two Alicorns a smile.
"I sincerely do hope you are not disappointed. If you like I could make it more complicated." Luna joked, causing the four of them to chuckle.
"I'm sure me and Twilight prefer it simple." Cadence looked at Twilight. "Right Twilight?"
"Wouldn't have It any other way." Twilight said, smiling at the princesses.
"Now that our amusement is over, shall we begin?" Luna asked.
"Yes lets begin. Twilight please go to the east side of the circle. Cadence will go to the west side please," Celestia watch as the two mares went to there positions.
Celestia smiled, things where going very smoothly. Making her feel more confident in this plan and everything would work out. Sadly the thought was short lived when she thought about how the moment they leave to find John and Hannibal. How many of the ponies would be attacked by a monster while they where gone? How will the other ponies react after the incident occurs? Many horrible thoughts rushed to Celestia's head, it made her feel useless. Luna noticed this and felt a wave of sympathy for her sister, she got close to her sister and gave her a hug. Celestia looked at her sister. Luna gave her a reassuring smile.
"You put to much weight on your shoulder sister, Remember this is my burden to share with you Tia." Luna said, comforting her sister. "please have faith that this will all work out well."
"Thank you Luna." Celestia smiled at Luna. "Let us begin"
Luna walked down, to the south side of the circle and got in position. Celestia than moved to the north side of the circle and mentally prepared herself for what would come next.
"Alright everypony think of the teleportation spell, than focus that magic on the middle section of the circle." Celestia explained.
Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and Cadence focused their magic on the teleportation spell. All their horns began to glow as the magic produced. They shot the magic into the center of the circle, the magic from the Alicorns combined together and shot up midway into the air. The magic came down on them, incasing them in a dome like shape. Twilight signed as she watched this occurred. She let out a sigh, thinking of how ironic this was. She remembered the whole Trixie incident and the glass dome that had been use to keep her out of Ponyville. Now in a dome made of magic, of her own with three princesses about to be used to fine monsters of a unknown planet inhabited by creatures who understand the darkness Equestria was fighting. This was truly going to be an unforgettable experience.
"Prepare yourself for what comes next!" Luna shouted, as the dome began to glow.
"What happens –” Cadence was caught off when a flash of light accrued.
The light blinded them for a good minute. When they opened their eyes, Twilight and Cadence's jaws dropped and eyes widened, as they saw that they where flouting through space. Their reactions again amused Celestia and Luna again. Before any of them could utter a word, the dome began heading toward a planet. They saw the planet know as earth.
"It appears we've reached our destination." Luna, observing the strange plant and how similar it looked to Equestria, looking through a projection was one thing but now looking of it up close, reminded her of her time on the moon, looking down at her home planet. Luna let out a weak smile. "Memories"
"Did you say something Luna." Celestia asked, hearing the whisper that left her sister's mouth.
"Oh it's nothing sister, just realizing how close something can resemble one's home from far away." Luna said, looking at Tai and giving her a reassuring smile. "Beautiful when you think about it."
"Yes Luna I agree with you." Celestia said, giving a smile of her own.
"Is this the Earth?" Twilight asked, regaining the princesses attention.
"Yes Twilight I believe it is." Celestia answered, getting next to Twilight.
"Looks identical to our home, does it not." Luna ask, getting next to Cadence.
"From this far up yes I believe it does bare some resemblance." Cadence agreed as she continued to looked at planet.
The sight really was beatiful, it wasn't everyday a pony, unicorn, pegasus or alicorn could say, they saw a new planet. After a few more minutes of observing the four princesses noticed that the Earth looked a lot different compared to the projection they had seen earlier, the color of the plant was mostly blue with white, brown, and green another similarity this planet shared with their home. They final reache the planet and landed above the an ocean, still floating.
"The ocean looks beatiful." Cadence said, observing the miles blue water.
"It truly is magnificent." Luna agreed with Cadence as she to look at ocean.
"I agree but can we please focus on the matter at hand." Twilight tried to sound firm but also humble not want to be rude, but she was still concerned for the safety of the ponies back at Equestria. "How will we fine these to humans, I'm sure this planet is a lot bigger down here, than we think."
"Don't worry Twilight we already know where to find them." Celestia reassured her former pupil.
"But how do we plan on finding them?" Twilight asked again.
When we used our magic to creat this and the teleportation spell, me and Luna also added the memory of there face, which we had already seen into the some shaped field. Once we think of who to get first we will be teleported to where ever they are." Celestia explained, fascinating Twilight.
Twilight wasn't sure what to ask about first, the explanation took the words right out of her mouth. Should she ask how Celestia and Luna had managed to see the faces of John and Hannibal? How did they managed to implant that very specific memory into a spell? Where John and Hannibal be located at the same place? Where they sure that the humans they find would be John and Hannibal? And most importantly, the question that stayed with her mind. How where they going to convince these creatures to help them? A lot of questions rushed into Twilight's head but she again reassured herself, that the princesses knew that the answers would come to them once they found these monsters.
"Who are we going to find first?" Cadence asked, also wanting to hurry before.
"Who do you girls think we should find first?" Celestia asked, gesturing to Cadence and Twilight.
Twilight and Cadence looked at each other and than huddled close together, they started whispering. Celestia knew they where trying to decide who to go get to first, even though it was only two choices it was still a difficult one to make. Luna knew this true as she observed the two Alicorns as they continued their whispering. Luna wondered what they would decide, until she felt a hoof tap her.
"You are alright with letting Twilight and Cadence make this decision, sister?" Celestia asked, feeling a little bad for not letting Luna know she'd be doing this.
"It's fine sister, it is good that you allow them to make decisions with us." Luna said, letting Tia know this didn't bother her. "I only hope they hurry a little."
And sure enough they did. Twilight and Cadence looked towards Celestia and Luna, a decision made in their minds.
"We've decided." Cadence said. "We've decide to get Hannibal Lecter."
"For my own curiosity why him first?" Luna asked, honestly wanting to know.
"He's a doctor right?" Twilight asked.
"Yes." Celestia answered.
"Than we believe he will be the most reasonable to talk with." Twilight explained made sense, sadly Celestia and Luna had forgot to mention that they wouldn't be talking with them here on Earth. For the sake of time they'll tell them later.
"Alright lets go." Celestia said, she looked at Luna and gave her a nod.
Celestia and Luna then focused their minds on finding Hannibal Lecter, the next moment another flash of light happened. When they opened their eyes, they saw that it was dark and they where in a forest next to a city river, they watched as a boat passed by them. Twilight and Cadence where confused again, why where they here? And where is Hannibal? Twilight looked and saw the calm expressions on Celestia and Luna's faces. She had to know if this was the right location.
"Celestia –” Before Twilight could finish her sentence the boat blew up.
"What just happened?" Cadence yelled.
"He'll be here now." Celestia said, she continued to watched.
Before either Twilight or Cadence could ask what Luna meant, they see something emerge out of the river and lay down on it back, as it catches it's breath.
"It is Hannibal."Celestia said movie closer to the human.
Hannibal was catching his breath. After taking in everything that had transpired in Grutas's boat, he needed a moment to collect himself. He knew, he couldn't take long as Inspector Popil and the police would more than likely check the woods to see if he was truly dead. After a minute of lying down and letting realization sink in, Hannibal opened his eyes. To his surprise he saw a horse looking down at him, he blinked his eyes three times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. Looking more clearly at the horse he saw that it had a horn and wings. Was it a unicorn or pagasus? Before Hannibal could decide if he really was hallucinating or insane he saw the horse's horn glow, it reach down to him and touched his head and than blackness.
"Celestia what are you doing?" Twilight asked, as she moved to the side of the princess. "I thought we where going to talk to him?"
"I'm sorry Twilight, I should have told you and Cadence this earlier but for the sake of time we will take them to our world to talk." Celestia used he levitation spell to pick up Hannibal and lay him inside the dome. "Now for John."
Luna nodded and then focused her mind on finding John Ryder. Again another flash of bright light appeared and once again the where at a different location. This time it was day and there some kind of strand machines with wheels that reminded them of an more advance version of a cart, must have been some kind of transportation vehicle. They where a wrecked and destroyed. Something horrible had just happened before they arrived. They continue to look around to look for any sound of life. The sound of a door slamming from one f the vehicles caught their attention. A human was seen walking away from the vehicle, towards another vehicle.
"Is that John Ryder?" Cadence asked.
"I believe it is." Luna answered. "Move the dome to where he is going. I want to see what he is going to do."
"Won't he or any other human see us?" Cadence asked, thinking this was not a good idea.
"It's fine as long as we are in the dome they cannot see us." Celestia said reassuring any worries that would come from Cadence or Twilight. Getting closer, they saw John heading to another human who is was inside one of the vehicles.
"Go fuck yourself." Lieutenant Esteridge, as he watch the gun being pointed at him.
"No!" Grace screamed, escaping the burning police van.
John pulled the trigger and watched as the bullet went through the trapped cop's head, blood gushing out from the back of his head. John looked back to see Grace as she got up, the shotgun in her hand. He fired the remaining bullets into the air, startling Grace, he kept firing until the gun was empty. John looked at Grace with an emotionless expression.
"Out of bullets." Was all John said.
He turning his back on Grace and began to walk away, still holding the empty gun. Grace followed behind and then pointed the shotgun at John and fired it. The bulletproof vest protected John's back but knocked the wind out of him and caused him to stumble forward. He looked back at Grace, meting her eyes and watched as she walked closer to him. Grace stopped and shot John again in the chest, this time knocking him off his feet. John got on his knees and looked at Grace. Her eyes screamed that she was ready to kill him. He smiled and had only one last thing to ask her.
"Feels good doesn't it?" John asked, already expecting the answer.
"I don't feel a thing." Grace replied, in a emotionless tone.
John's smile disappeared. That wasn't the answer he was expecting but it was as good as he was gonna get, especially since he was about to die. Grace pointed the shotgun at him and pulled the trigger, nothing happened. Grace looked at the gun an then back at John, who let out a sigh of frustration. How hard could it be for this girl to kill him? Grace than hit John's throat with the gun. John grab his throat as the air was knocked out of him. Grace than hit John with the back of the gun knocking him down, she repeated this process seven more times, than kicked him, she hit him one last time and than stopped. Grace slowly backed away as the blood spilled from John's head. Leaving behind four shocked alicorns.
"What just happened?" Cadence uttered, breaking the silence of the four shocked princesses.
Nopony answered, they where all still shocked by what had just transpired in front of them. Why had these humans done this to each other? Was the main question going through all four of the princess mind, Luna was the first one to regain her composure, she ran to where John was and looked down at him. All the blood coming out of his head was truly a sight of grotesque. Luna saw that John was still breathing, barely but still breathing. Luna used her levitation spell to pick John up and ran back to the dome.
"Sister we need to go back to Equestria!" Luna yelled as she entered the Dome with John, she laid him down.
"Yes." Celestia said, focusing on the spell to teleport them to Equestria.
"Is he alive?" Cadence asked, concerned for the humans life.
"Barely." Luna said, still monitoring John's breathing.
"Will he live if we get him back to the castle fast enough." Twilight asked, her stomach hurting from the sight of John and his messed up face.
"I pray so, we need him alive, if he dies than that will halt our plan." Luna said, dreading the idea that they came all this way just to leave with the glass half full, as they say.
Within a moments notice they where back in Equestria, in the same room they had left.
"I'll get help." Cadence said, running.
"Why did this happen to him?" Twilight asked, feeling bad for the near death creature.
"Faith is cruel Twilight Sparkle, I should know." Luna said, continuing to watch John's breathing.
Luna may have kept her attention on John's bloody face, her mind was elsewhere. She wondered how all the ponies would react to these new creatures and how the creatures themselves would react to their new surroundings, especially if these two humans where considered monsters on their planet. And finally how would all of Equestria be change by these creatures presences. One answer came to mind, that gave her some comfort. It would be necessary.
