Fallen

Running through the forest Kronos looked over his shoulder seeing four hell hounds running after him their blood red eyes piercing the darkness as the ran their paws scorched the ground. Kronos couldn't make how big they were but could tell one thing the were FUCKING BIG the eyes were level with his and the foot fall or paw falls sounded like that of a horse running through dirt. Sliding underneath a log Kronos thought 'What the fuck did I do today for this to happen.'

(Earlier that day)

Walking around town Kronos felt Lyra tug him into a clothes shop for the fifth time that day to look around in his right hand were three bags and in his left were two looking to the petite girl he said "Lyra why are you buying so much ?" turning around the girl narrowed her eyes at the man and said "Do you have a problem with that ?"

"No I was just curious ?" Kronos gulped internally hoping he diffused the situation nodding she turned back around looking at a mint green sundress staring at the dress Kronos felt his mind wonder to how it would look on the mint haired girl. After thirty minutes of shopping Kronos and Lyra went to the local café to meet up with Sunset and Twilight to talk about classes and what they had planned for thanksgiving off smiling Twilight and Sunset said "We're gonna visit our family back at canterlot."

"Wait you two are sisters ?" Kronos said looking between the two girls slightly shocked chuckling Twilight began to answer the question "Well I don't exactly recall but a few years ago my parents were killed but after that things are a blur all I remember is Sunset's mother caring me out of the house and to an ambulance."

"Ahh so your adopted ?"

"Yes."

"Well sorry If I brought up a bad topic." Kronos said looking down at the table with a somber look on his face smiling Twilight said "Yep but don't worry about it, it happened a long time ago and I cant remember much of it."

"Hmmm what about you Lyra ?"

"Huh o-o-oh I'm gonna go home and visit my mother how about you Kronos ?"

"Me well Lumina offered me some training and I accepted."

"Why would you need that ?" Sunset asked leaning forward slightly Kronos paled slightly and said "Well I've been having some weird feelings since I've got here and not good ones."

"Like something bad is coming ?" Sunset said cocking her head to the side looking around he found that the other two were giving him the same look sighing he crossed his arms and looked up to the sky "I don't know but maybe."

(Unknown area)

Looking at the mirror the figure chuckled lightly sneering he tapped the mirror changing to a darkened area smiling he said "Now now look at you Marina your are looking very lively." the figure cocked her head and spoke in a language long forgotten " " chuckling the figure said "Yes I do have a job and a fun one at that and how did the previous one go ?"

" , ?"

"Yes all you have to do is bring me my brother ALIVE."

" ?"

"Yes you can kill but only those who get in your way."

"Yes and you will enjoy this hunt but you mustn't kill him rough him up a bit but under any circumstance you must not kill him believe me you will regret."

(Next Day)

Standing at the train station Kronos wave good bye to his three friends watching the train leave he sighed and began to make his way back to the school while walking back he ran into a small woman she stood around 5' 2'' in height she wore a dark red shirt and long black pants her eyes were a deep crimson and her hair was black with red streaks. Rubbing the back of her head she groaned out in pain reaching down Kronos offered her his hand "Sorry about that I didn't mean to run into you."

"I-I-its okay y-y-you didn't d-d-do it on purpose." she said shaking a little as she stood up looking into her eye Kronos saw that she had some power sighing he asked "So what are you doing here ?"

Smiling she said "I'm a late transfer student for the academy my name Is Marissa Loe what's your name ?"

"Huh oh my names Kronos so why are you here ?"

"Oh i'm here to meet the headmasters of the academy."

"Why ?"

"Well I'm one of those late bloomers or something like that and they wish to test me to see how magically talented I am."

"Oh well good luck and would you like to me to show you the town ?"

"Sure sounds fun !"

(3 hours later)

Walking back to the table with two drinks Kronos sat down looking at the woman he smiled at her and she smiled back handing the drink to her he asked "So where are you from originally ?"

"A small town out west.............its gone now."

"What do you mean gone ?"

"Before I was called to the academy our town was attacked by something ?"

"Something ?"

"Yes something attacked and began to slaughter everyone in town." she said her eyes beginning to water with unshed tears "I only survived because I used my magic to teleport away."

"I'm sorry that I asked that but how far did you teleport ?"

"Far enough for the headmasters to notice." she said with sad look in her eyes nodding Kronos said "come one let me take you to the academy."

"Sounds good and thank you for this."

"No problem its the least I can do for you." Kronos said standing up and offering his hand to the girl taking the hand she smiled while he helped her up "Now let me show you the way to the academy."

"Sounds good."

(half hour later)

Walking up to the entrance Kronos waved his arm and said "Welcome to Celestial Academy !" smiling happily Marissa began to hop around with excitement "Calm down now I'm gonna cast a spell that will guide you to the headmasters office I need to go get something together for my dinner tonight." Kronos said as he waved his hand and a black and violet ball formed and floated infront of Marissa.

"Ahh so you cook for your self ?"

"Oh yeah but only if it has instructions on a box or is really simple like noodles."

"That's rather sad maybe I'll stop by and we could get to know each other some more."

"Sounds good." Kronos said waving good bye as Marissa walked away with the ball showing her the way sighing Kronos turned back around and began to walk back to town. After a few minutes of walking Kronos began to move the forest when he heard a cry turning he couldn't see anything through the foliage and heard another cry pushing past the foliage he began to move toward the noise after a few minutes of walking he found the source of the noise he didn't have to move to far from the path but he was still pretty deep in the forest pushing past a blueberry bush he saw small wolf caught in a trap a steel wire tightly wrapped around its hind leg slowly tearing into its skin.

Sighing Kronos made his way up to the wolf getting down low he projected some of his magic drawing some life force from the surrounding vegetation causing them to bend down and wilting slowly turning into a darker shade using the magic he calmed the wolf down and began to undo the wire. After forty minutes of work he finally got it off sighing he began to heal the wound drawing some power out of the amulet so he could heal the wound smiling he said "So little guy you feel better." turning the wolf pup looked at its leg then looking at pup Kronos saw that it was a pure white wolf with deep gold eyes barking it ran over to him and sat down.

Standing up Kronos chuckled and began to walk away only for the wolf to follow him stopping he said "Hey little guy why don't you go to you family." the wolf barked while its ears pressed against its skull rubbing his temples Kronos said "Alright lets-" he was interrupted by something massive and black slamming into him sending him into a tree coughing up some blood Kronos looked up to see the monster moving toward him and the white wolf growled at the thing "Shit."

(Present)

Stopping in the middle of the field Kronos saw the four hell hounds stop infront of him all massive and all looking for a meal grunting Kronos began to draw energy from the amulet. His hands began to glow a black violet color standing up straight and cocking his head Kronos said "Bring it on !"

"HA your funny I would have really enjoyed killing you !" a voice called out from behind the hell hounds was a young girl wearing a silver dress with gold frills at the sleeves and on the him of the dress her silver was in two pig tails her eyes were a deep crimson red smiling she said "So my prey are you gonna make this interesting for me or will you just come with me ?"

"Go with you why would I go with you ?"

"I think i'll let my boss explain when I bring you to him."

"What the fuck does that mean ?"

"It means if you wish to find out you can find out sound good ?" she said smiling innocently but Kronos could tell behind that smile was a Satanist of the worst kind shooting his hand out he shot of bolt out catching her in knee falling to the ground she began to laugh "Wow your really strong to bad I have to hold back or else we would have fun BUT alas we have to be leaving it seems that you have company."

"Wait just a second-" Kronos began only to be cut off by a black arrow slamming into his gut sending waves of pain through his body falling to the ground he grabbed the arrow and began to scream looking to the girl she had a sadistic smile on her face "That's for attacking me and next time I'm gonna beat the shit out of you."

Gasping slightly Kronos said "Bring it on you bitch." before blacking out he saw flames engulf the girl and her hounds while she laughed hysterically at him.

(Unknown time Unknown area)

Waking up Kronos felt light invade his line of sight trying to move one of his arms he felt pain course through his body looking down he saw that he was wrapped in bandages and each one had runes on it to allow accelerated healing. Looking around he found that he was alone sitting up he heard a gasping sound looking up he saw Marissa dressed in a simple black shirt and grey skirt rushing forward she began to check the wounds and saying multiple things "Slow down Marissa what happened ?"

"You were attack my dear nephew." looking up Kronos saw Lumina she looked tired and worn out walking forward she continued "An unknown person attacked you and the only reason we were able to save you was for this little guy ." looking down Kronos saw the wolf pup wagging its tail happily cocking his eye brow Kronos pushed Marissa off him softly and asked "How did he do that ?"

"Your cousin Luna is Princess of the night and can communicate with creatures of the night and because wolves are rare in the area she could easily come to help the wolf and he called for help saying something along the lines of 'My brother needs help' so Luna came he explained the story and now here we are you injured and with a companion."

"Ahhh I see sorta but did you see the person ?"

"No I only felt their power and that's the other reason I'm here from now on I will be training you to fight and control your magic."

"Why ?"

"Because my nephew it is my job to protect and protect you I shall by teaching you to fight and defend yourself now moving on from that I take it you know this young mage."

"Oh Marissa yeah I showed her around town and got to know her."

"Good now take her to her new home."

"And that ?"

"With you and the other students."

"WHAT !?!?"
