  It was official, this was the number 1 best day of Danny's entire life, this pinkie pony sure knew how to throw a party! she some how set up a party in just a minute complete with a 7-layered cake and giant meter wide ice-cream Sunday. a couple pony's approached to ask him questions. Stuff like, "oh my Celestia are you really an alicorn?" and "Dude that sonic rainboom was totally wicked! You might be even better than rainbow dash!" or "awesome, give me a bro-hoof dude." Danny had no idea who "rainbow dash" was he did however remember something about a really fast Pegasus who do a "sonic rainbow" or something like that. And that Celestia was, apparently, the only modern horse-like animal!  the rest were all mesohippus's and no, mesohippus has nothing to do with hippies. Mesohippus were miniature ancient horses that lived in middle Eocene to the early Oligocene. And, enough with that back to the story. Any after a while people, no ponies he reminded himself, got tired and home.

     Danny as well, he joined the Mane six who bombarded him with questions, "where did you learn those moves?" Rainbow dash asked. Shit, what am I going to tell her? Danny thought desperately. "um, I just practiced again and again."  he lied. liar an annoying voice in is head hissed at him. well what was I supposed to tell her? That I got transported here by a pajama wearing unicorn and just started flying? Danny retorted. the voice was silent.

  "uh, hello? Did you here me Danny?" Rainbow Dash demanded waving her hoof in front of his face, Danny blinked. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, "Danny if you keep daydreaming, then I won't be able to prove I'm the better than you! Hay, you will probably just fallout of the sky!" Rainbow dash laughed. Danny felt a surge of annoyance and anger. This Rainbow dash, reminded him of cocky arrogant bully's he had come across thousands of times. A bunch of jerks's who liked to think they were better than everyone else.

   "Bring it.", Danny said as coldly as he could, glaring at Rainbow Dash. His eyes were full of hate and anger, this went unnoticed by Rainbow Dash who was too excited about racing a Pony who could perform a sonic Rainboom just like her. She cheered and zoomed up and dashed in all directions.

"Wait!" Twilight said glaring at Rainbow Dash, who wasn't even listening,"he just got here! He must be tired from that stunt he pulled only an hour ago!" she then turned on Danny "that was really really reckless you could have been killed!" she glared at him accusingly. Danny bit back a retort why do you care he thought irritated too near breaking point. Immediately he felt guilty, Twilight and her friends hadn't done anything, but be nice to him, how could he think of insulting them, or getting irritated at them this quickly?

  "Anyway, on a more important note, where are you going to live in ponyvile?" Twilight asked him. Danny stared, he hadn't really thought about that at all. How could he be so stupid? Give me a break, I nearly died an hour ago! After that where I'm going to live isn't going to be my top priority especially after a party like that, heck, I almost forgot about the whole almost dying thing altogether!

"I don't know" Danny admitted feeling extremely stupid at the moment. The mane six stopped to look st him in shock. wait, No. Mane *five.** that shy pony's missing. What was her name again? Flutter Die or something? Whatever, I wonder why she's not here. Hmm, probably because she's to shy* he thought off topic.

  "Dude" Rainbow Dash trying hard not to laugh, "you just came into town without even renting a place to stay?" Danny felt his face go red he nodded stupidly. Rainbow Dash gave up all attempts to conceal he glee, he dropped out of the sky two feet down (she had been flying next to the rest of them) and rolled over, laughing her head off "Ha hahaha, doesn't even know where he's going to stay! Hahaha!" he laughed gleefully.

"Now, now Rainbow Dash, it isn't nice to make fun of ponies!" Rarity chided "especially one's as handsome as Danny here" Danny grew even redder with that remark. Rainbow Dash ( if possible) laughed harder as Rarity went red too and began stuttering, "that not what I- I mean it is true- No- I only meant-" the rest of the mane six then joined Rainbow Dash as Rarity continued to stutter.

"Please be quite. Rarity." Danny said through gritted teeth, his face redder than a fresh tomato. Rarity luckily obliged and looked down as the rest of the mane six laughed on uncontrollably. " so Twilight, um, we were talking about where I was going to stay any I don't really have a home, as Rainbow Dash so kindly stated," he said glaring at Rainbow dash who rubbed her head sheepishly muttering something about getting carried away.

Danny didn't know what to say, no one had (except for his uncle  and grandfather) ever been this nice to him!"Thanks twilight" he said truly shocked by her kindness and generosity. He gazed at bookshelf and immediately pulled out a book and began to read it, The title said in bold letters Daring Do and the quest for the throne of Anubis. I had a picture of a dark khaki/arylide yellow colored mare  glaring up at a strange primate-like creature with a long narrow some what crocodile-like scull, (except it was covered in fur and had long wolf like ears with one circular piercing with a ribbon attached on its left ear) human-like hands, ape like feet plus, a four-fingered hand on the end of the tail. He was so engrossed in the book when he finally looked at the clock he was shocked to have found it was already past mid-night! Shit, I've been reading for that long? He put in the ribbon-like book mark he had found on the page with the dedications and placed it in between the page he had been reading previously and the page he was reading. He closed the book placed it back on the shelf, and crawled into bed pulling up the cover and drifting to sleep, happier than ever before.
