The life of Icewing

Hi again! So I thought I'd tell you something really exciting that happened the next day in school, something with the Cutie Mark Crusaders! Or CMC for short. I'll just jump straight to it! From the Morning, anyway.

The sun was shining in from my room, well, it would've been if I didn't keep my curtains closed. I slept peacefully in my bed, dreaming mostly about having fun times with my new found friends. That was, until Swift came in to wake me up for school...

He came into my room, "Wakey wakey Icewing!" He said a little loudly. I groaned and rolled over in my bed.

"Five more minutes.." I said in a tired tone.

Swift chuckled lightly, shaking his head, walking over to the curtains and opening them. I sat up slowly and covered my eyes with my foreleg. "Is that really neccessary..?"

"Yup." He smirked. "Up outta bed, you gotta get ready and eat before you leave." He left the room and I sighed, climbing off my bed and sleepily heading out the room...walking into the wall next to the door before I left. I really got to get used to waking up this early.

After I got myself ready, had breakfast and sorted out my mess of a mane, I headed out of the house and off to school. On my own this time, I knew the way from yesterdays walk and I didn't need to guided no more! I was real happy to be going to school again, more than yesterday, mainly because I was going to meet Sweetie, Scootaloo and Applebloom again! I soon neared the School as the other students were walking in, and I spotted the three waiting for me nearby

"Hey Ice!" Applebloom called over, smiling bright. I trotted over happily and smiled back at the three

"Heya girls! How's it going?"

"Could be better.." Scootaloo groaned. She looked tired and her mane was a mess. I giggled lightly

"Uh..do I have to ask?" I giggled still, and Sweetie shook her head giggling too.

"She had a late night, despite that we had school in the morning" Sweetie replied. "You know she's going to notice, Scootaloo"

"Yeah yeah.." She yawned, walking inside "Let's just get this first lesson over with.."

The three of us laughed a little at Scootaloo before following in after. And as the lesson went on, I was actually expecting Diamond and Silver to be a pain throughout it..but she wasn't, strangely. She just stayed quiet and kept looking forward. Not that I had any problems with it, but it was weird. Maybe she'd finally given up being a bully for once? Eh..I doubt it, oh well!  The lesson flew by pretty quickly and we were back outside for the first break. I walked out with the CMC, talking to them with a smile.

"Ah suppose that was a cool lesson, but the funniest part was Scootaloo falling asleep" She laughs "The thud made me crack..!"

Scootaloo huffed and walked a little ahead, probably too tired to argue back with her, as the three of us laughed a little

"Let's leave her alone, she's really tired soo." Sweetie kindly said.

"Alright, fainh, but don't blame me next time she facedesks" Me and Applebloom laughed a little again.

"Did you three do anything yesterday? Can I ask?" I smiled.

"Well..we tried DJing at Vinyl's house." Sweetie nervously said. "Let's just say we're not dropping any ''wubs'' anytime soon.."

Applebloom laughed a little "Yeah, nevah again."

It was always real fun being around these three, and I always did wander what it would be like to be a part of the CMC, having these really fun adventures and things with them..! Maybe I should...

"Girls? Can I ask something?" I smiled, if not a little nervously, I didn't know if they'd be mad if I'd asked after the second day of being friends with them.

"Yeah, sure! Anything!" Sweetie happily said, the three looking my way.

"Is it okay if..I join the CMC too? It sounds really fun and I thought it'd maybe bring us closer..!"

The three of them looked at one another, then seemed to huddle together and whisper with one another hurriedly. I sat down and waited, nervously awaiting whatever they were going to say next. They seemed to talk to one another for at least ten minutes before turning back to me with a smile.

"Alright, Icewing, your in! We've been looking for a new member for soo long, it's been just us three for a while" Scootaloo said happily

"Really?!" I smiled bright, and they all nodded "Cool, I didn't think it'd be that easy! Thank you three so much, you're the best!" I giggled lightly

"Aw shucks, that's nice of ya ta say" Applebloom giggled "Glad to have ya on board, Ice! Though we're gonna have ta make some sorta initiation thingy at some point..but nothin' ta worry about Ice."

"Yaaay.." I said, a little worried about that last part. But I'm sure it was nothing bad at least! And just then, the bell for the next lesson rang, the three of us quickly hurrying back inside for the next lesson.

Hehe, that was a fun initiation though, but I think I'll save it for next time! I'm sure you'll like it!
