The flatmate

The train arrived at ponyville station late at night,princess Luna had clearly taken over the sky.Starlight looked in wonder at the thousand fireflies flying past the window.This was shaping up to be an ok experience if the rest of the day was like this not that much day was actually left.Starlight grabbed her saddlebags and made her way off the train.Starlight looked up at the sky it always helped her calmed down,it allowed her to think back to the long nights she spent with silver just talking,talking about everything and anything.Starlight followed her piece of paper indicating to where she lived the best she could considering the lack of light.

"Right building twenty four"Starlight pondered out loud

This went on for a long while until starlight came to a large building with a small twenty four painted beside it.Starlight knocked the door.

"Hello"

The mare that answered the door had a long red mare and a Snow White coat and a stare that sent shivers down starlights spine.

"Come on then I will show you round"The mare said in her monotone voice

"Right ok-what's your name?"starlight tried making small talk

"Nancy"Nancy repiled in a monotone accent

"We'll I'm Starlight but I prefer star"Starlight answered,having a one sided conversation while following Nancy

"That lamp don't work,you have to whack the water tank for it start,don't touch my schedules on the fridge and if you have male visitors keep down cause I have to get up early for work"Nancy answered

"Fine"Starlight allowed Nancy's comments about "male visitors" to go over her head.

Nancy then went to her room leaving Starlight alone in a dark sitting room to full asleep on the sofa.
