Ch4-The proposal

Checklist then came out of nowhere,his minty green hoof placing a cup of tea in front of her,starlight lifted her head up “Thank you”

“What?-what did you just say?”His expression very shocked as if no-one had ever thanked him

“Thank you.. for the tea I mean”Starlight raised an eyebrow

“That's ok”His smile genuine as he then looked at her “Are you ok?”

“Uh..not really what I was expecting?”Starlight looked at the countless scrolls "I don’t really give the best advice”

Checklist picked one of the scrolls up reading it rather quickly,turning towards her “That's easy they just need to sit down with her and talk it out”

Starlights ears going back as her eyes got bigger “Wow,you're actually really good at this..you should be set this task"

"You really think so?"

"I know so.."

"Prints would never let me,I'm too,I can't.."

"I understand but I can help you.."Starlight looked at him her ears going up in excitement "We can help each other...I`m Starlight by the way"

"Checklist.."He replied

"Well come on then"Starlight grabbed his hoof,she wasn't very aware of some ponies like of personal space.Not noticing Checklists slight discomfort as she dragged him towards Mr Prints office

Next thing checklist knew Starlight was dragging him into Mr Prints office,to which Mr prints was not happy about this.

"What is the meaning of this?"

"Mr prints I have a proposal for you!"

"The audacity"

"It will benefit the paper I promise"Starlight begged of him"Please hear me out.."

"Ok, you have two minutes"

Starlight continued to explain her plan,demonstrating Checklists skills "I will check the grammar and make sure that everything is correct before it goes out to print please Mr Print.."

"I suppose I could give you a chance"

"But if you let me down your off the paper both of you.."

"But-"

"We won't let you down"

"Alright now get out"

Both of them sore that it was time to leave,Checklist practically galloped out.Starlight followed soon after.

"Why did you do that?"

"You needed to be recognised you give amazing advice.."

"I could lose my job.."

"You won't-"

"How can you know that?"

"I know your scared but I promise you won't lose your job"

"How can you make promises like that we only just met"

"Because I know sometimes you have to be bold"Starlight looked at him "I`m sorry I just wanted to help"

"Im not sure"

"Please give me a chance.."

Checklist looked at her "Okay"

"Thank you"
