Long ago, Princess Celestia led an army to a faraway land in a crusade to keep the sun alight... fighting dragons along the way. They never returned.

But its all regarded a myth, a story for foals. In actuality, her disappearance was left unexplained and quickly forgotten with time. Its a common conception that she is alive, but in hiding. That is until a guard is murdered by a bank robber, he finds himself harboring a dark secret, a secret that not even he knew. A secret in connection with Celestia and her mythical doomed crusade. A secret that will send him on a journey to find the solar princess, or go mad trying.

Now, join this soldier on his journey as he will meet new friends, enemies, beasts and factions... and death.
