Rainbow Blaze Backstory

Rainbow wasn't happy which puzzled her, she had the best of friends, was a Wonder bolt, married to Soarin, which she had a crush on him ever since he joined the team, and saved Equstria a few times but for some odd reason she wasn't happy. Until it hit her, all her friends had children and she didn't. For the time being she was lying in bed with Soarin.

"Can't sleep?" Soarin said as he turned on the lamp by their bed.

"Yeah." Rainbow replied.

"What's on your mind?" Soarin asked.

"Well all my friends have kids and," she looked Soarin dead in the eye and said, "Soarin I want a child."

"Are you sure?" Soarin replied rainbow nodded.

"Yeah Soarin I'm sure." Rainbow said.

"Well it's pretty late we'll talk more about this tomorrow, OK?" Soarin said.

"Got it." Rainbow said, Soarin then kissed her and everything else was a blur.

Soarin woke up to see his wife still sleeping her head was under his chin, he noted that he smelled funny he probably would need a shower before work or get one there, he slowly moved out of bed and after he got out he looked at the clock which read five fifty he also noticed the lamp was still on.

'Hmm must have forgotten to turn it off last night.' Soarin thought to himself as he turned it off, he then went downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast for her and himself he planned to make oatmeal after a while he had two bowls of oatmeal and took them with him upstairs to their room when he got there he found his wife not in the bed but in the bathroom puking, setting down the bowls he quickly ran to her side.

"Hey Rainbow are you alright?" Soarin asked as he patted his wife on the back with his wing.

"Yeah, I'm fine Soarin just give me a few-" Rainbow said as she threw up again into the toilet.

"Sorry Rainbow but you're gonna have to call in sick today I'll tell Spitfire why you weren't there." Soarin said.

"No I'm fine see." Rainbow said as she weakly got up she then quickly went down to vomit again after that she let out a sigh.

"You need get back in bed plus I made oatmeal." Soarin said as he helped her up and got her in bed.

"So what type?" Rainbow asked as Soarin brought her a bowl.

"Cinnamon." Soarin replied as he handed her it.

"So can you tell me why you were up so early?" Rainbow asked.

"What do you mean?" Soarin replied.

"I can read Soarin, the clock says six twenty." Rainbow said.

"Umm well why were you up so early?" Soarin asked.

"I had to vomit." Rainbow said.

"Touché." Soarin said Rainbow let out a sigh.

"Well I would rather be on the couch so in case somepony would be at the door." Rainbow said.

"OK then, but after you finish your oatmeal it's getting cold." Soarin said Rainbow then looked down into the bowl after a bit the bowl was empty Soarin then helped Rainbow on his back so he could put her on the couch downstairs after that he put her on the couch and while doing so his wing touched her belly and Rainbow let out a small giggle.

"What so funny?" Soarin said.

"Sorry my belly was a little ticklish." Rainbow said a grin appeared on Soarin's face, "Soarin what are" Rainbow couldn't do anything but laugh as Soarin tickled her after a while Soarin stopped.

"Bye Dash." Soarin said as he open the door to go.

"Bye Soar." Rainbow said as her husband left for work soon after that Rainbow felt sleepy and and after a few minutes went off to sleep.

Soarin flew thought the air as a hot knife goes thought butter it was still early out so there wasn't a lot of ponies out yet so Soarin didn't have to worry about fans mobbing him over he then was at the Wonderbolts HQ he then walked in to be greeted by Spitfire.

"Hey Soarin you're here early wanted to get a bit more training in, a bit of paper work you missed, hey where's Rainbow she still sleeping or lost a race?" Spitfire said.

"No she sick woke up and was puking." Soarin said.

"Oh OK, anything else?" Spitfire asked.

"Oh yeah she now really ticklish on her belly." Soarin said.

"Oh really." A grin formed on Spitfire's face.

"What's so funny?" Soarin asked.

"Oh nothing." Spitfire said she then sniffed the air "Jez Soarin you need a shower you She said as she covered her snout with one of her hoofs, Soarin knew he smelled a little funny in the morning but didn't know it was that bad.

"Yeah I think I probably should get one." Soarin said.

"You think!? No you need one!" Spitfire said as she began to walk away Soarin then began to walk to the shower rooms, after alittle bit he got there he could her a shower running on in the mares room as he went thought the stallion door he then went to the shower and turned it on he got some soap and began rubbing. After a few minutes he was clean he then dried off with a towel exited the showers and began to walk to the Mess Hall.

"So anything new?" Soarin asked as he sat down at one of the tables which had Fleetfoot, Rapidfire, and Surprise at it.

"Nan nothing." Rapidfire said as he took a bite of toast.

"Nope, hey where's Rainbow?" Fleetfoot said.

"She's sick today." Spitfire said as she walked to the their table.

"Hey Spits." Surprise said as she pulled a comic book out of her mane and began to read it.

"Well Soarin if Rainbow is sick for a week tell her to go to the docter since this could just be a stomach bug she has." Spitfire said.

"And why should I wait a week for this?" Soarin asked.

"I just told you." Spitfire said.

"Just listen to her Soarin." Fleetfoot said.

"OK then better get in you suit's practice starts in ten minutes." Spitfire stated as she walked away the others soon got up and followed suit.

Maybe I was in the shower longer then I thought.

-4:00-

Soarin was finally home he quickly looked at the couch to see Rainbow still there sleeping and with a small trash can by her fill halfway with vomit.

"Hey Soar." Rainbow said in weak voice.

"Dash honey, how are you feeling?" Soarin asked.

"A bit better. Dash replied.

"I see if we had any ginger ale." Soarin said as he walked into the kitchen soon he came back with a bottle .

"So what's for dinner?" Asked.

A week had pasted and Rainbow was still sick a Soarin remembered what Spitfire said.

"Dash I think you should go to the docter  today." Soarin said to his wife.

"Yeah I do it later in the day when I'm feeling a bit better." Dash said.

"Bye Dash." Soarin said.

"Bye Soar." Dash said Soarin then placed a kiss on her head and went off.

Dash was sitting in the waiting room waiting.

Jez what's taking so long?!

Soon nurse Red Heart  came  into the room, "Dash if you would please follow me." She said Rainbow got up and followed her in to a room which she guess where she would get checked on.

"So now what?" Dash asked as she went on to the bed with paper over it.

"So Dash what seems to be the problem?" Red Heart asked.

"I been sick and puking for the last week." Dash said.

"Anything else?" Red Heart asked.

"Also I have to pee for long periods of time." Dash answered.

"Well then I just need you to lie on your back real fast." Red Heart said Rainbow then laid down on the bed then Red Heart began to rub her belly Rainbow let out few giggles.

"Stop I'm ticklish." Red Heart stopped allowing Rainbow to sit back up.

"OK I think I know what it is but just to be clear ... Have you and Soarin been sexually active lately?" Red Heart asked Rainbow burst out laughing.

"We don't do that at all we're waiting a bit till we have kid." Dash stated.

"Well Mrs Dash the symptoms you're show are in fact pregnancy." Red Heart said.

"Well first Wonderbolts can't get pregnant, and second we hadn't have any sex ever." Rainbow said with an angry tone Red Heart then left the room soon to come back with a odd looking stick and a cup.

"I think you know what to do." Red Heart said.

That meant she was pregnant.

"Dash are you OK?" Red Heart asked before Rainbow fainted.
