Rainbow Blaze Backstory

Dash couldn't think of what to do.

She had just gotten back from the hospital to her's and Soarin's cloud house and was pacing around her living room pondering on what to do, she than looked at the pregnancy test she held in her hoof.

And as far as she was conserven was these things almost never lie, kind of like her friend Applejack the element of honestly. Rainbow wondered what she would be like as a docter but quickly put that aside.

Ugh what do I do? Should I hide it as long as I can? No I seen enough movies to know that doesn't work. I can't abort it I would never do that, it wouldn't be loyal to the foal but then I would have to leave the team and then that would be abandoning them.

Rainbow knew she had two choices.

The foal or the Wonderbolts.

Rainbow then sat down and began to rub her belly.

"You have caused me alot of problems." She said to her stomach, she was trapped between a rock and a hard place.

She was going to have to tell Soarin since hideing stuff since she learned in the past just made things worse.

But now she was holding his foal and just didn't know what to do.

I'll tell him just as simply as that tell him and hopefully we find something out.

Tucking the pregnancy test in her wing she then sat up and went upstairs to the second story of her her house where she kept her p-box and her games when she reached the room she started up the system and the TV to past the time waiting for Soarin to get home.

Hmm what should I play?

She looked around and spotted a case which still had the plastic warp still on it, she picked it up and look at the cover.

Oh yeah Luna got me this for helping her out of Nightmare Moon.

She then took off the warp and looked at the case, it was made in platinum which gave it a slick design. She looked around and saw the box it came in, which also had some things in it that Luna gave her specially she remembered what she got, the magic cutter, the SUIT, and a few art posters, a statute, and a guild book to help her.

She then opened the case took out the disk and put it in her P-box and started the game and put her head phones on.

Come on how scary can it be?

It was in fact scary and she had to go to the bathroom twice one because of the game and the other since of pregnancy.

She then looked at the clock, the hour hand was near the three which meant Soarin would becoming soon, setting the controller down and taking her headphones off she went downstairs to the living room to wait for Soarin.

When she got down the front door open and Soarin walked in.

"Oh hi Dashie, how was the doctor's?" Soarin asked.

"Um good, um could we sit on the couch please, I need to tell you something." Rainbow said.

"Sure." Soarin said as he closed the door and sat on the couch, his wife then sat next to him.

"Um you know how I said I wanted a child two weeks ago?" Rainbow questioned.

"Yes." Soarin replied.

"Well um I'm two weeks pregnant." Rainbow said with a small worried smile on her face.

"Well that's great Dashie!" Soarin said happily with a smile on his face he then saw his wife wasn't happy but had a worried face. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"It's just a Wonderbolt can't get pregnant and I can't get rid of the foal as I would be abandoning it and I can't leave the team either since that would be abandoning the you guys, and I'm the element of loyalty." Soarin looked and saw her eyes were watering, "I just don't know what to do!" She said and and put her face in Soarin's chest and began to cry, Soarin then wrapped his wing over her and said.

"Dashie don't worry we'll find a way."

"What if I'm a bad parent like my father?" She said in between sobs.

"Dashie you'ld make a wonderedful mother." Soarin said.

"You think?" Rainbow said, her sobs going away.

"Of course you will." Soarin replied.

"Thank's Soarin." Rainbow said, she then lifted her head up and kissed Soarin, when she finished it Soarin playfully bit her snout when he let go Rainbow did the same only her snout was smaller and his was much bigger she couldn't bit much, after that she hugged Soarin and and rested her head on his shoulder, and Soarin hugged back.

Soarin didn't know how much time had past when he lifted his wife off his shoulder he found her peacefully asleep and a small grin on her face, carefully he slowly he laid her down on to the couch and and went to the kitchen to grab a pen and paper to write a note, when he came back he thought to himself.

I haven't wrote a note like this ever since she was on the hospital and and having nightmare's about her family and dad.

Soarin remembered the day when she was in Canterlot and he went to Luna to see what was wrong, he was glad he did that and began to write his note.

If you are wondering were I'm at don't worry I'm at the HQ

to see if we can do anything about the foal I will be back

soon.

Soarin then place the note on the coffee table in front of the couch, he then went to the front door open it went out closed it and flew off to the HQ.

Soarin landed outside of The Wonderbolts HQ he really hoped that his wife wouldn't be kicked out as it was her dream to fly with them, he then opened the door and walked inside.

Some of the Bolts lived there or had a room at the HQ which was why he saw some other members still there, he then walked to Spitfire's office, he let out a breath and walked inside.

"Hey Soarin I wanted to talk to you tomorrow about something but since you here it seems I can tell you." Spitfire said, seated at her desk.

"Sorry Spits bit that will have to wait you see Rainbow-" Soarin was cut off by Spitfire.

"Rainbow is two weeks pregnant and don't worry she won't be kicked out." Spitfire said looking at Soarin with a sly smile on her face.

"Wait how did you know?" Soarin questioned.

"Since she a Wonderbolt every time she goes to the docter they send a copy of the documents to me, plus you smelled of sex two weeks ago." Spitfire replied as she leaned back in to her chair and put her back hoofs on the desk.

"Oh yeah, so that's why I smelled so bad." Soarin said.

"I tell the other's Bolts that Dash is pregnant and put her on mandatory leave, and don't worry the press won't find out about it because the last thing we need is the foal to surrounded and scared." Spitfire said.

"Thanks Spits." Soarin said.

"Hey no problem and remember to tell Dash what said she'll probably be happy to hear it." Spitfire said Soarin nodded and left.

Soarin was back at his and Rainbow's house and found her still happily asleep gently he shook her to awake.

"Yeah Soar what is it?" Rainbow said as she yawned, Soarin then told her what Spitfire had said to her.

"So I'm still in and press won't find out and the others also know?" Dash asked now fully awake.

"Yep Dashie now all we need to do is tell you're friends." Soarin said, Dash stomach then growled.

"Um maybe tomorrow when it's not so late." Dash said.

"I'm cooking?" Soarin asked.

"I'm bad at it so what do you think?" Rainbow said.

"I know." Soarin said.

After they ate dinner Rainbow made Soarin play Pony Space to past the the rest of the evening.

"So is it scary Soar?" Dash asked.

"At the jump scares yes bit other then that you get used to it." Soarin replied.

"Well it's late we should go to bed." Rainbow said with a yawn.

"Want me to carry you?" Soarin asked.

"Yes I'm tried." Rainbow said Soarin then put Rainbow on his back went up stairs to their room, he then set her in bed and also went in.

"So um Dash." Soarin said.

"Yes?" Rainbow asked.

"Do you mind if I rubbed your belly?" He asked.

"Sure go on ahead." She said as she turn to face him on her side, he then began to rub her belly in a clockwise motion.

Rainbow looked into his eyes and he looked back, she smiled.

"Soarin we're gonna be parents." She said as she snuggled next to Soarin.

"Yeah and tomorrow will tell your friends." Soarin said as he wrapped his wing over her protectively.

"Good night Soar." Rainbow said as she drifted to sleep with a small smile on her, Soarin then rested his chin on her head and fell to sleep soon after.
