Chapters Grim Tales: The Darkened Way
At nighttime, every Glader built the Campfire. Susnset carved her name on the Maze's wall. The Glader celebrated a new Glader every year, the night they got sent. Right now, the preparation has been set. Blossom and the Power Puffs are gathering firewoods, The Grims' mining for coal and carrying them, the MLP crews were slaughtering animals to eat, while the first Gladers are building Sunset's new shelter. And, Bryn, Blaze and Beatrix are lighting the torches.
"Gladers!" shouted Flash. "We are gathered here tonight, as we were celebrating our new member of the Glade; Sunset Shimmer!"
Cheers blurted through the Gladers' crowd, as they were celebrating. Then, Kim snapped her finger. Everyone got to her attention. "I've something to tell you, Gladers," said Kim. She opened her case, the opened the cloth. Every Glader was speechless as they saw... a map. About... the Maze.
"It..it can't be," said Beatrix. "I've been running through the Maze with Malice and Dency. We find the pattern, maping it secretly," said Kim. She pointed at two dots. "See the dots? These are... Grim and Mandy," said Malice. Grim Jr and Minnie was stunned to hear the words. "It's impossible! Mother and Father was...was..." Minnie's words stopped, Grim Jr comforting her.
"Now, it's time for us to get out of here. We can't live here forever," proposed Dency. "She's right!" said Sunset. "Dency's got a point!"
"It ain't easy to get out," said Soundwave. "To get out, we must have a team at once," said Minho. "You were lucky," said Gally. Everyone turned to him. "We've got candidates."

"Begin!" shouted Kim. Every Glader run, jog and keep up their own paces to explore the Maze. They have been given map. But what they need to know is the way back to Glade. "How can they got back?" asked Dency. Kim replied; "They'll find a way back. I promise," said Kim.
"How do I suppose to-" said Sunset. She saw Minho beside her. "Are you okay, Sunset? What's wrong?" asked him. She'd saw his torso uncovered. He realized it in 2 minutes. "Damn!" he wore he shirt back on. Sunset blushed a bit. "You should warn me, flinthead. Want a ride?" he said, offering a piggyback ride to her. She nodded.
Back at Glade, one by one Glader got back to safety. Flash, on the other way, was looking for Sunset. "Kim," called him. Kim turned. "What is it, Flash?" asked her. "Sunset. Have you-" Before he can even finish his line, he saw Minho, with Sunset on his back. Every Glader smirked. "What?! I just help her running from the Maze!" said Minho. Kim giggled. Flash shot an angry glare at Kim. She stopped. "We need to talk, bro," said Flash, grabbing on Minho's arm. Gally handed a bottle of water for Sunset. "Here," he said. "Flash is a bit angry if he saw you with Minho again. You better prepared," said Gally.

"Wake up!" yelled Kim. Sunset was the first to get up. "What's up?" asked Sunset. Kim smirked. "We're going to meet new friends. From Group B," said Dency, handing Sunset a paper. "Whoa. Group B?" asked Minho. The other Runners gulped. "What's the matter?" asked Sunset. "Group B is the nasty group. They have nastier weapons. Such as Hellfire Sting," said Malice. Even brave boys like Gally shivered.
Flash and Danny gulped. Minho hide in his blanket, while the other Runners is finding a hiding place. Then, Sunset felt cold wind get pass her. It was Group B. They have arrived. "Well, a cold arrival, again, Gladers," said a girl in group B's crowd,with a sharp, sly smile.
"So, how was the past couple days? Got a Greenie?" said the girl, juggling her Machetes. "Yeah. Sunset is the new Greenie," said Dency, shivering. Then, the girl threw her Machetes straight to Gally. Gally fainted after the attack. Sunset bring the Group B some tea. The leader, which Sunset had learned her name Winterglade, carefully sips the tea. "Just to make sure there's a new update," said Winterglade. The other members of Group B were practicing, tracing maps, calculating scales and even running with the Gladers.
"Any updates on your Skyvaders?" asked Kim, a scared smile carved at her scared face. "Nah. The Box didn't sent anything except food and supplies," said Winterglade. "At least you have least Runners," said Dency. Winterglade giggled. "What about you? You guys have a ton of 'em!" said Winterglade. "Actually," said Winterglade. "I'm here for a help. From... you guys."

Winterglade took out a large map, the Phases of the Way. "After me and Frankie been running, I saw something unusual," said Winterglade, pointing at a large dot. "A Booju?" asked Sunset. Winter shook her head. "Worst." She took out a paper, handed it to Kim. "Read it," said Winterglade. "W..I..C..K..E..D." Kim read the letters slowly. "The letters were wrote everywhere at the Everglade's Maze," said Winter. "My Runners have been mapping this for more Thomas can count his toes," said her.
"So, you're saying that not Grim and Mandy that put us here?" asked Malice. Winter nodded. "Then who put us here?" asked Sunset. "That's what we're going to know. Time for daydreaming is out," said Winter. Before Winter could touch her knife, a scream broke the air.
It was Teresa.
"What the hell just happened?" Minho rushed to the scream had broke. Then, he stopped. "What is it, shank?" asked Winter. Minho's eyes widen. "Winter, go call Thomas now. He needs to see this," ordered Minho. Winter nodded and scatter her Skyvaders to find Thomas.
Meanwhile, Thomas was eating a fresh bread, when a Skyvader Thomas didn't reconized pulled his arm to the Glade. "Thomas! You got to see this!" said Winter, pointing at a girl and a giant Booju. Thomas's eyes widen, tears streamed. "No, it can't be. Teresa! No!" shouted him. Winter just stared at the ground.
"I feel sorry, Thomas."
"Very, very sorry for you."

Sunset growled, she's scared. After she being left at Canterlot and Banned, she didn't want the same thing happened. "Flash? Twilight? Anyone? Help!" Then, she heard clicking and creaking. "Someone please! Help me!" Then, she felt haunted.
The metal thumping got closer. The metal door creaked open. She stared at the person who opened it. It was Flash. "Hey, guys! We've got a new Glader!" shouted Flash. Several Gladers go on to check on Sunset. "Whoa, a girl! Been months since we don't have one!" Said a boy. It was Danny. "Girl, what's your name?" asked Flash, as he pulled Sunset out from the Box. "I'm Sunset." She said. But she can't believe it. Flash had forgotten about her. "I'm Flash. And these are the Gladers," said Flash. Sunset winked. She'd known a lot of people but not from the other stories. "I'm Bryn and she's Beatrix," said a tomboy looking girl. Beatrix launched a smirk at Sunset. Fangs. She has those scary, Discord like fangs! She thought. "I'm Bell. These are my friends," said a white girl. Bell pointed at the Power Puffs and Jenny."I'm Soundwave. Flash and Long Way are my best pals," said Vinyl-like girl. Soundwave patted Long Way's shoulder, which seems he didn't to happy about it.
"Who are them?" Asked Sunset, pointing at a group of Gladers. "Oh, those are the Grims. They are Dency, Grim Jr, Minnie and Malice," said Long Way. "Who're those tough looking group?" Sunset asked, again. "They are the first Gladers. They were Minho, Gally, Teresa and Kim. We heard they were the first to come here," said Bell. She pointed at the mysterious group. "Anyway, welcome to the Glade, Sunset," said Flash.

"I've made my decision," said Kim. "There will be a group of Runners," declared her. "Are you nuts?!" shouted Buttercup. Blossom shut her down instantly. "Based on the 'Running Test', a few candidates have been chosen. The rest will follow," said Dency. "But... what are Runners?" asked Bell. Sunset knew about the Runners. She'd been reading The Maze Runner before she ended up here. "Well, Runners are-" Blaze cut her line, giving Sunset a moment to catch up.
"Runners are a group of boys and girls that are chosen to run. They were chosen based on their speed and power. They were the the strongest, smartest and fastest among us. They were... well, know about the Maze well. They know about pattern changes every night. Runners usually bring along their weapon of choices. Example, if Minho was a Runner, I think he will choose a spear or a knife," explained Sunset. The three Maze Runners nodded.
"But we need a leader. And who knows what's out there!" shouted Gally. "There will be more Grievers, Gally. They were worst than what we thought. They're Grievers, Boojus, various of Monsters and many more. At the end of the Trial, we'll have to fight Grim and Mandy," said Kim. "More Grievers?!" said Minho. "We've been killing them since we escaped WICKED's Maze! I don't want to face that thing again!"
"Kim will be our leader," said Malice. "The Runners are; Minho, Gally, Bryn, Blaze, Beatrix, Grim Jr, Danny, Jenny, Blossom,Bell, and Dexter and Sunset also Flash," declared Dency. A glance of excitement, fear, honored, courage and derp being scanned through the Gladers' crowd.
"Now, get some sleep. Tomorrow is a big day. Remember, tomorrow, is a big day."
'Tomorrow's a big day'. That words had been sticking inside her head for a long time. Then, Kim grabbed her arm. "Follow me, shank," whispered Kim.

Kim lead the way, as the other Runners followed,. Including Sunset. "Where are we going?" asked Grim Jr. Malice told him to shut up. "Voila! " said Kim. "Get your puny butts inside," said Kim.
"I brought you here because of this," she said, opening the map of the Trials. "They're... four stages?!" said Flash. "Yes," replied Kim. "As we escaped through the Maze, a new Fear Trial will come. The last one, is a fight," said Dency. The Runners just stared at the map. "And, we have..." Kim said, opening a secret department on the wall. "Tons of weapons on your choice," continued Malice.
Sunset's mouth hanged open, same as the other Runners. "I can't...I can't believe this! This is a weapon barrage?" asked Minho. "Yes," replied Malice. Malice showed them the shelf, full of powerful super weapons. There were Sound Knife, Barrage Sparks, SparkFist, Plasma bow and a case of arrows, Machetes, Crossbows, Scythe, Swords, 'The Sting', Poison Darts, Slingshots, Daggers, Electrified Ninja Claws and Electrified Spears. "Choose the one that fits you," said Malice.
Minho picked the Machetes, Sunset picked 'The Sting', Bryn picked a plasma crossbow, Beatrix picked a plasma bow with a case of arrows,Flash and Danny picked up the Ninja claws and Spear, Dexter picked the Darts, Blaze and Bell used the Spark Fist, Gally, Jenny, Blossom and Grim Jr picked Daggers. Malice picked up her bow and her Barrage Sparks, while Dency is with the scythe and Kim is with the Sound Knife.
"Alright, Runners. our mission is run everyday. Then, report here, at The Map Room. If you survive, we'll do it again and again. The patterns will change every 10 hours. So be ready. Once you run, don't look back. Understand?" said Kim. "Understood!" all Runners said. "Now, you are dismissed," said Malice. Then, Bell asked; "What happens if we run at night?"
A deep pause.
"You're in heavens, Bell. Unless you manage to survive," said Malice. Bell was shocked, didn't dare to ask. "Anymore questions? If not, get some sleep," said Dency. The Gladers, took pace with running and jogging,also walking, straight to their beds.They need some sleep for tomorrow. Because tomorrow, is their big day. Their first running mission.
