Ray of Young

All the girls in the Orphanage For Young Girls were asleep. Except for Twilight who was up reading Harry Potter. She has already read the book but she wanted to re-read it for 'fun'. The girls where put in specific rooms. Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack were put in the room for girls ages 9-11. Suddenly Gummy came in, somehow he escaped from his cage because Pinkie needed to hide him from Mrs. Warton. He crawled up Twilight's bed, Twilight did not notice him but Gummy jumped as high as he could and bit Twilight on the neck.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Twilight screamed. All the girls awoken.

"Twilight, shut up, we are trying to sleep!" said Rarity.

"Gummy just bit me!"

"Gummy doesn't even have any teeth!" said Rainbow Dash.

"Girls, girls. No need to fight." Fluttershy caressed.

"Fluttershy, stay outta this!" Another girl yelled. Fluttershy started to cry.

"Woah, woah, woah!... Hey. There is no need to be yelling at each other!" Pinkie said.

"This is all your fault anyway, keep that Alligator under control!" another girl yelled.

"You guys are fighting for no reason! And you made Fluttershy cry!" Pinkie said.

"Fluttershy's pathetic!" another girl yelled.

"Excuse me! Fluttershy is awesome!" Rainbow Dash stepped up. Rainbow and Fluttershy grew up together in a house of 7. They were very close and still are. Unfortunately, the parents cared nothing for them, so they ran away. Leaving the other 3 children to survive on their own.

"Fluttershy is the greatest sister anyone can have and has always supported me every step of the way. Now I suggest you all go to sleep, or somepony's gonna have to get dealt with." She held up her fist and everypony fell asleep.

"That means you Twilight!" Twilight threw her book that hit another girls head and laid down.

"Thanks Rainbow!" said Pinkie. Rainbow nodded and laid her head back down to sleep. Pinkie picked up Gummy and put an extra lock on the cage and then hid him back under the bed.

"You stay there Gummy. And Gummy I told you that beans are the musical food!"

All the girls got up and started moaning of the horrible smell. Pinkie giggled.

"Hey Pinkie." said Fluttershy.

"Yepie!" Pinkie responded.

"Where did you find Gummy?"

"In a garden, in ran into a tree and I guess his teeth fell out!"

"Oh." All the girls laid down until Mrs. Warton came in to check on them. She heard a whine under Pinkie's bed. She looked under and saw Gummy. Mrs.Warton just accepted that Pinkie had a pet and wanted her to be happy. Mrs.Warton knew that Pinkie had Gummy, but for some reason she didn't want to tell Pinkie that. (Your probably thinking...where is this story going? Keep reading because everything I say in this story will be important in this stories future and maybe your future)

~ The Next Morning

It was the brightest day in August. There was not a cloud present. Mrs. Warton was cooking breakfast for all the girls. The girls were off doing their own thing. Rarity and AJ just got adopted by a nurse and all the girls went and said goodbye to them.

"Bye Ya'll, we'll miss ya!"

Rarity took out a napkin, put it on her face ad then gave it to Twilight and said "Remember me."

A while after that Pinkie, Rainbow, Fluttershy and Twilight were on top of the roof.

"Hey guys." Fluttershy started. "Don't you guys ever think if there is more out there than this crummy orphanage?"

"I have always thought that!" Said Pinkie.

"But for some reason, I wanna stay here because I don't wanna leave you guys." said Fluttershy.

"I think this orphanage could be 20% cooler. There isn't any action. But your right, friends are were it's at." said Rainbow.

"Girls! Time to eat!" called Mrs.Warton.

They got up and climbed off the roof. "Now I got a butt cramp." Said Rainbow Dash. They arrived downstairs in the kitchen. Apparently Mr.Warton let another 10 year old girl named Odessy make dinner.

"Oh. Aw man. Aw shoot. Oh Puggerdoodles. Oops. Dammit. oh..ohhhh man." The little girl was dropping pots and pans and somehow, burning water. And also was cursing every time she hit her shin on the upper cabinet. (Huh?) So for breakfast they ate burnt toast with brown water and garbage yogart. They all threw away the breakfast secretly, then snuck a Twinkie out of the cabinet when no pony was looking.

"Don't worry Odessy, you'll get it next time." Mrs.Warton was a nice lady, she had long flowing hair that she dyed partly blue and a little bit of light purple. She was weird at times and never really yelled unless she needed to. Mrs.Warton said she was an orphan when she was young but then got adopted by a woman who ran an orphanage, she didn't want her to be another orphan to her, she wanted her to be her daughter but then also make friends easier. The orphanage the woman ran was called The Orphanage for Young Girls which is the orphanage Twilight and co are at now. So when the woman died, Mrs. Warton decided to take charge of the orphanage.

~ Later in the day

"Gummy sit." said Pinkie. Gummy did nothing.

"Sit." nothing.

"Sit!" nothing.

"SIT!" Screamed Pinkie. "Pinkie it's not going to work! Your pet has no modulaumglada!" said Twilight.

"What?"

"Brain."

Twilight sat down to read a book, she continued reading Harry Potter. Pinkie then continued teaching Gummy tricks, which still didn't work out, until they heard a bang at the door.

Rainbow Dash came bursting through the door. Her long hair flying everywhere! "Guys. Mrs. Warton is missing!"

"What?"

"We have checked everywhere for her! All through Jumpsville, everywhere!"

"What do we do now?" said Fluttershy.

They ran out of the room. Confused and scared orphans were outside in the lobby.

"Okay! Listen everypony! As you know Mrs. Warton has gone missing and that's okay, we just have to call the police. But I bet she's okay." Twilight announced.

"Wait, how do we know she's missing? She could have went to the store!" said a random girl.

"She tells us every time she goes to the store, she will always say 'I'm going to the store! Bye!'" Twilight continued. Everyone started to murmur.

"Guys!" Pinkie shouted. " We have different age groups here! One of us can be the head of the orphanage! Let's get people in the 16-19 group. You guys are old enough! You can lead us!"

"Hey. That's actually a good idea!" said a random girl.

"So... anyone?" asked Twilight. The orphanage went silent.

"I volunteer!" An 19 year old girl stood up and the crowd made a pathway to let her through.

"I'm Lyra."
