Ray of Young

"Guys, this is stupid! We need to call the police!" said Twilight.

"No! Then what is the police gonna do? We can't find another lady to take charge of this orphanage. And a kid can do anything." said Rainbow. "So how old are you Lyra?"

"I'm 18 years old. I was taken from my family."

"Why?" asked Rainbow.

"That information is classified." said Lyra with bedroom eyes.

"Rainbow Dash... we are children. We can take charge of an ORPHANAGE!" Twilight said.

"Yes we can!"

"Yeah Twilight, we can do it!" said Pinkie.

"Um... I guess I agree." said Fluttershy.

"And maybe, we'll get famous for it. People will start looking at kids differently." said Rainbow.

"Maybe for a reward, we'll get cake and ice cream..." Pinkie said.

"We'll be livin' in fame!" Rainbow Dash continued.

"Guys, Don't you wanna find Mrs. Warton?" asked Twilight.

"I was just about to get to that." said Rainbow. "Bon Bon, Vinyl and Octavia! You guys are on search duty! Look for Mrs. Warton. If there isn't any luck, Come home."

"Aw! This is gonna be so fun!" said Vinyl.

"Just remember Vinyl, don't cause any trouble, that's how you got in this orphanage in the first place." said Octavia.

"Okay guys lets go!" said Bon Bon. They went out the door in search of Mrs. Warton. Little did they know they were in the age group of 13-16, Rainbow should have chosen older people.

"Guys, this is the start of something new! We are responsible, loyal, honest, kind, generous, magical and we can make anyone laugh! We are all friends, and I say that Friendship is magic!" Rainbow preached.

Everyone shouted and cheered. Rainbow looked at Twilight. Twilight did not look amused. She was thinking about the horrible things that could happen in this situation.

"Then LETS DO THIS!" screamed Rainbow. Everypony ran all about the orphanage except for little Sweetie Bell who was left tumbling from the crowd.

"AW COME ON!" said Sweetie. Then she walked with a smirk on her face back to her room.

~ Later that day

Pinkie Pie was on the roof looking out in search for Vinyl, Bon Bon and Octavia. She saw them walking down the street of Monin. "They just went down Monin road."

"Okay thanks Pinkie!" whispered Rainbow as she climbed back down from the windowsill, Pinkie climbed down from the roof with her. Fluttershy came up with a plate full of burnt cookies.

"Ohhh cookies!" said Pinkie. She took one and then ate the rest of the plate.

"Pinkie those were burnt." said Fluttershy.

"They were still delicious! Who made them?"

"Oddessy."

"Oh."

Twilight walked up the stairs. "Pinkie, you need to feed Gummy."

"Oh Yeah!" Pinkie ran down the stairs.

"Okay, can one of you guys stop Oddessy! She thinks she's a good cook, but she not." said Twilight. "And guys, what about food? There's nothing in the fridge."

"Um, well we can order Pizza!" said Rainbow Dash.

"So we're just going to order Pizza until we find Mrs. Warton?"

"No. We can send people in the older groups to get food."

Footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.

"Oh hey Marcia." said Rainbow. Marcia was a young 9 year old girl from Brazil. People say she got put in the orphanage because she ran all the way from Brazil but everypony knows thats not true. She had a big golden retriever on a leash.

"Um. I found this dog put near our door. Can we keep it?"

"Awww. Of course you can keep it!" said Fluttershy.

"Oh no! Not another animal!" said Rainbow Dash. "Ugggggghhhhh! Fine, but keep that animal under control! And I don't wanna see any fighting with the pets in this orphanage!"

"Gracias, amiga!" then she ran back down the stairs with the retriever.

"You keep that animal under control, comprende?" said Rainbow.

"Yo Compredno!" Marcia yelled from downstairs.

"Oh! I'll go down and make cupcakes!" said Pinkie.

"Why?" asked Twilight.

"Because!" she ran down the stairs.

Rainbow, Twilight and Fluttershy went back down the stairs. They walked down the hallways and every little girl was playing board games or they found a flip phone on the street. One girl named Hilani was washing the windows and cleaning the floors but Rainbow said she did not have to do that but Hilani refused. She said that she came from a demanding family who was always telling her to wash windows and to mop floors.

"Hilani, you gotta learn how to have fun!" said Rainbow.

"I do know how to have fun, I've been at this orphanage for 5 years so far and..."

"...and all you have done is washed windows and take care of Gummy! You have not had a break!"

"I've... had lunch breaks."

Rainbow put her hand on her head. "No! Girl you are 10 years old, 11 in 2 months and you need to learn how to have fun. Don't be a Debby Downer! Come on! I'll take you somewhere!" Rainbow and Hilani went outside around to the back of the orphanage and stopped.

"What am I here for?" she asked

"I want you to be the most goofiest, craziest person you can be close to Pinkie Pie!"

"Why?" she asked

"Because it's fun!" Rainbow gestured Hilani to go. Hilani had a weird look on her face. She was wondering why Rainbow was making her do it and why Rainbow? (Why would Rainbow be teaching lessons to other people.

"That's it! Now let's have a race! Ready, set. Go!"

"Wait, I'm not ready..." said Hilani. Rainbow was already halfway down the hill. Hilani tried to catch up with her.
