With the sound of clattering in the background, you slowly stirred from your slumber. When you awoke, you felt your head and body ached with a throbbing pain. You heard the sounds of somponies talking next to a boiling cauldron. You then looked around to discover that you're in a cot within Zecora's hut.
You looked over to the cauldron to see Twilight, Rainbow and another yellow pegasus mare that was with them. When you started to focus your eyes, you were able to identify the other mare as your dear friend Fluttershy. When they heard your move about, she was the first to look to you.
“Nito, you’re awake! How are you feeling?” she spoke, as she walked over you.
Fluttershy pointed to the cot beside you. There you saw Zecora who looked rather weak. However, when she saw you, she was able to manage to give you a small smile.
“Zecora...are you okay?” you asked with concern.Hmm…she does have a cute smile, ’ you said as you walked out.
The next day, you and Fluttershy were helping out around Zecora’s home. Though she was moving around, it was apparent that Zecora was still weak from the poison.
“So what can I do for you Zecora?” you asked.
You quickly made your way over to get it and brought it back to her. You then saw her pour the content into the boiling pot.
“Are you making a potion or something?” you asked.
As you gaze into her lipid pools of cyan, the weight of her words sunk in. You were genuinely marveled at how astute she was.
“I see…you’re very wise, Zecora,” you complimented.
You heard a soft giggle come from the other side of the room. You look to see Fluttershy, who had cupped a hoof over her mouth, watching the two of you.
"Oh, my. You two seem to be getting along well,” she mentioned.
As she moved closer, you could see that she eagerly awaited your reply. You didn’t quite know why either. It just seemed to be natural with her than when you tried to flirt with other mares. With Zecora, you just seemed more relaxed.
“Well, Twilight said it’d be a good way for me to meet new ponies. Though it does deviate from her original teachings,” you explained.
You felt her briefly brush her tail over your hand, which caused a shiver up your spine. Though it was brief, you knew that it was deliberate.
“Are you teasing me Zecora?”
All she did was give you a flirtatious wink and went back to getting her item. With that, you were flustered as you’ve never had a mare so that kind of interest in you.
“Umm...hey Fluttershy did you need some help in there?” you asked, trying not to seem flustered.Smooth, Nito…
Later that night, as you and Fluttershy were cleaning up dinner, you noticed Zecora had fallen asleep on the floor. Being the gentleman you were, you picked her up and carried her to her bed. Once you tucked her in, you headed back to the kitchen.
As you reached her doorway, you heard faint mumbling coming from her. Curious, you walked to her bedside. From what you could see from her facial expression she was having a bad dream.
“Zecora?”
Your body then moved on its own and wrapped her in a warm embrace. This simple act seemed to have calmed her down. With a sigh, she leaned deeper into your hug.
“Feel better?”
She was silent for a moment as if she wasn’t expecting you to agree. In one swift motion, she moved to where her back was to you. She then pulled you down with her so she is on her side and you’re spooning her.
“My request to lay like this. If you will permit…”
She shifted her body to snuggle closer to you. After a few moments, you heard her slowly start to fall asleep. You began to gently stroke her mane, to which a content smile appeared on her face. Within minutes she had fallen asleep. Carefully as you could, you wormed your way out of the bed.
“Good night Zecora,” you whispered.
As you were about to leave, you heard her mumble something. Curious you walked back to her and leaned closer to hear.
“I wasn’t strong enough...can never forgive myself...”Not strong enough? What does she-? ’Blade? I wonder who that is?
You reached down to wipe the tears from her eyes and gently stroked her mane. This calmed her down, and she turned over. As you left the room, you saw Fluttershy was standing by the doorway.
“How long were you there?” you asked, with a blush.
You both leave, after making sure that her home was secured, and head back to Ponyville. Once there, you said your goodbyes and part ways for your homes. As you walked home, your mind raced as to who this Blade pony was. It was apparent that it was a pony from her past, but from what it looked like it was somepony that was dear to her.
When you got back to the castle, you headed to the library to do some research. While looking, you found a book about Zebrican History. You sat down and read it. You soon found yourself lost with intrigue.
You couldn't believe how the zebras had a rich history filled with many battles, their diverse culture, and legendary warriors. But one thing caught your attention the most, and that was the mystical shamans. How they were able to perform mystic feats without the use of unicorn magic, the variety of ways to make potions, the way they have an alluring mystery to them really reeled you in. While engrossed in your book, you felt a hoof tap your shoulder.
“Whatcha reading, Nito?” asked Twilight.
She teleported away to leave you to your studies. Once gone you turned your attention back to your book. You then came across a familiar face. It was zebra mare that was known throughout Zebrican history as the youngest shaman ever.
“No way...Zecora?”
For the next few days, your life became pretty routine. Throughout the day, you and Fluttershy would tend to Zecora. And at night, you and Twilight were up perfecting the Boost Elixir (you came up with that name yourself). The more you took it, the longer the effects would last. After a few tests, you two were finally able to work out all the pros and cons. However, throughout the past week, you were patiently waiting for Zecora to recover so you could ask her something.
At long last, your wait was over, as Zecora had finally made a full recovery.
“So how do you feel, Zecora?” asked Fluttershy.
The room fell silent as both mares were left in a state of shock. As you looked up, you saw Zecora gazed upon you with a stoic face. She peered into your eyes to see the validity of your request.
“That is not a choice to be made so lightly, you would have to adhere to me completely,” she firmly spoke.

The next day, you made your way to her home. She was up and eagerly waiting to get started. She first began with the ideology behind the ways of the shaman.
“The first of many things you will see; I've taken a vow of poverty,” she began with a smile.Poverty, huh? Such selfless ponies these shamans, ’ you thought.Hmm…that does have a nice ring to it. ’
You stood up and follow after her. As she rummaged through it, she came across a large jar that had a thin layer of frost on it. When she opened it she gave a disheartened sigh.
“Seems my ambition was moot...I am out of Mandrake Root,” she huffed.
She motioned for you to follow her to the table. When you did, you noticed that it was filled with various books. She sat at the table and offered you the chair.
“For now, sit with me. You need to study.”
Later that night, the two of you were now in the uncharted part of the forest. You did your best to stay close to Zecora, while still respecting her personal space.
“Is it much farther, Sifu?” you inquired, while still surveying the area.
You looked ahead to see a sizeable twisted mass of thick red vines stretching from the ground up a tree. The air left an unnerving chill as you felt as if you were in the presence of a vicious predator…waiting to strike.
“For medicines, the root is wanted...even if the cold ground is haunted,” she spoke, never once letting her guard down.
It glared at the two of you. Zecora remained rock steady, but you were a quaking mess. The plant-like creature circled them carefully before it suddenly dropped down and slithered up another tree until reaching a sturdy branch and reverting back into its pony form.
“It’s the occupant of the grave...and for us a soul to save,” she explained, as she prepared for combat.
You took a fighting stance and prepared for the pending fight. You looked to see the creature was sizing up you to. When its analysis was completed, it dove at the two of you.
“Here it comes!”
It landed in between you two. Like a feral animal, it began to wildly fight both of you as it swung forehooves, which were now covered thorns. You’re narrowly able to dodge the assault.
“How do we beat this thing?” you asked.Sweet Celestia! Zecora’s a lot stronger than I thought! ’ you said in awe.Where’s that weak spot? ’
You swung the branch hard at its weak spot. It yelped in pain as it lost one of its hind legs. In retaliation, it leapt forward to bite you. You anticipated it and jumped back, but you then slipped on some moist ground and fell backward. As it was about to eat you, Zecora appeared behind it and knocked it away with her own burning branch (taking out another hindleg in the process).
“Thank you Sifu,” you said.
You dodged the beast assault and struck its jaw with the burning branch. The wooden snake let out a pained hiss as its jaw fell off. As it fell to the ground, the roots faintly twitched as it appeared defeated.
“It is finally done. This fight…we have won,” breathed Zecora.What a strange plant ,’ you thought.
Since that day, you’ve been training with Zecora every day for the past three months. Through it, all your growth was genuinely remarkable. With your innate ability to pick up things quickly made it a lot easier for you to excel through her training. Zecora was very impressed at how fast you’ve grown as a shaman in such a short time.
Your days were filled with intense training, and research with Twilight at night. Though she was strict, Zecora was the perfect teacher. Caring and gentle when you needed it, but coarse and harsh when she felt you weren't giving it your all. Throughout it all, you two became very close friends. She even started to open up to you a little bit about herself and her culture.
As the days went on, you found yourself not looking at Zecora as you Sifu or even as your friend but rather as a something much more. You weren’t sure if the feelings were genuine or not so you didn’t act on them. You didn’t know what to do so you sought advice from your best friends. Your first stop was Sweet Apple Acres. When you arrived, you found you target bucking apples as usual.
“Hey AJ, you got a minute?” you called out.feelings for her...”feelings ?” she inquired with her trademark eyebrow. “There are all sorts of feelings, sugarcube.”She’s right. I won’t know if I don’t try .’
As you walked through the busy marketplace, your mind was fixed on how to approach Zecora about how you feel. While lost in thought, you bumped into a random pony and fell to the ground. When you looked forward, you saw that it was the fashionista unicorn Rarity you bumped into.
“Oh, I’m terribly sorry I- ...Oh, it’s you, Nito?” she said, with a smile.
You waved goodbye as you headed for the Friendship Castle. While on your way there, you tried to think of the best gift to give Zecora. Upon arrival, you saw Twilight and Fluttershy talking in the foyer.
‘Great, they can help me with a gift idea .’Wait, does it ?’
Lost in thought, you found your way to Sugarcube Corner. You sauntered up to the counter where the energetic pink party mare was wiping down the counter.
“Pinkie...Chocolate Velvet surprise milkshake...make it a double...”look in your eye,” she noted.
She merely gave an assuring no, as she freshened up your shake. You recalled your talks with all of your friends, and they each had one underlining tone…tell Zecora how you feel.
“Hmm, you’re right, Pinkie. I guess I got nothing to lose then,” you said, as you chugged down your third shake in one gulp. “Thanks, Pinkie.”

Later that day, deep in the Everfree Forest, you and Zecora were hard at work with your training. Today session was focused on combat. As the two of you finished up your sparring lesson, Zecora decided to give you a little break. You fell to the ground slightly exhausted. You looked to your Sifu to see she had a delighted smile on her face.
“You do learn quite fast...for an apprentice...” she commented.
You could see that she wasn’t going to budge on the subject, but you wanted to help her get through whatever was bugging her about her past. It was then you remembered what happened that night.
“Getting off topic. If you don’t mind me asking...um...who’s Blade?”
She only nodded and turned to look off into the distance. You felt like an idiot for bringing up something so personal to her. As you were about to past her, you look to her.
“I know it’s not my place. But if you ever need someone to talk to or just need a shoulder to cry on...I'm here for you. I may be your apprentice, but I’m also a friend that cares for you,” you declared honestly.
Before you could react, you felt her lightly cry into your chest. You then wrapped her in a thigh embrace. It seems as though this pony was indeed dear to her and this outpouring was long overdue.
“Zecora...it’s okay. You’ve always been so strong-willed, but even the strong need someone to lean on,” you consoled her.
You grab your cutting tool. You tossed vegetables into the air. Just before they reached the table, you delivered a series of slashes. The vegetables landed on the cutting board neatly and in their own separate piles. Zecora, impressed with your handiwork, quickly nudged the cutting board to the table’s edge. She slammed her hoof on the board, which launched the cut pieces into the cook pot.
“Eager to prove to me your worth? Come, start the fire with my front hoof,” she instructed, as she offered her hoof.
But when you did, you were rendered speechless. You were lost in Zecora exotic beauty (her alluring eyes, her gentle smile, and her captivating scent). You felt yourself start to get flustered.
“I...uh...well…you see…I… um…” you stammered.
She remained silent for a moment, as she processed what you had confessed to her. With each passing moment, you felt your chest tighten. You’re relieved too when she looked to you with a joyous smile.
“I feel the same way too... I have grown quite fond of you.”
“W-What...what was that for?” you asked with a heavy blush.
With nothing to hold you back anymore, you eagerly returned the kiss. When you pulled away, you saw a blush now snaked across Zecora's muzzle.
“I do not entirely know where this road will go, but I’m glad to be walking it with you Nito,” she beamed.Way to kill the mood stomach! ’
You sat with your legs folded. Shutting your eyes, you then steadied you breathe. Though your outward visage is calm and steady, inside you are leaping for joy knowing the mare you love feels the same toward to. It was then you felt confident enough to take things a step further.
“Zecora, would you...like to...go on a date with me?” you asked.
Later that night, you made your way back to Zecora’s. As you drew closer to her home, you felt your nervousness started to rise. Since you’ve been in Equestria, you’ve never really been on a date with anypony before. As your thoughts raced as to how to not screw this up, you finally reached your destination. With a gulp, you briefly knocked on her door.
“Zecora? You ready?”
When the door opened, you were captivated by her beauty. Her jewelry seemed to have been polished as they shimmered in the moonlight. She greeted you with a half-lidded smile.
“Good evening Nito; happy to see you.”
The two of you head to out. While on your way to your destination, you’d both talk and shared a laugh or two. After a few minutes, you arrived at the bottom of a secluded hill.
“Okay before we reach the top I want to cover your eyes,” you said.
You got the blindfold from the basket and wrapped it around her eyes. Once it was secured, you lead her up the hill. As you reached the top, you positioned her to be facing something.
“Okay...surprise!”
You quickly took off the blindfold. Much to her surprise, Zecora beheld a field of flowers with silver and gold petals. Zecora was left in awe at the beauty of the hidden grove.
“Whatcha think, Zecora? Pretty amazing, huh?”
You offered her your hand. She slowly rose her hoof to your hand, and she carefully stood on her hind legs. She gripped your shoulder to balance herself. The two of you danced across the field.
“I take it you like my little surprise?” you grinned.
As you continued to dance, you saw that she was gradually losing stamina in her hind legs. You gracefully spun her around and then dipped her. When your eyes met, you saw how her cyan eyes gleamed in the moonlight. Caught up in the moment, you leaned down in for a kiss.
However, just as your lips were about to connect her hind legs gave out, and she began to fall backward. Out of instinct, she grabbed on to you and pulled you down with her. You both landed on the ground with a soft thud. As you hovered over her, you saw the faint blush sprawled across her muzzle. Your heart skipped a beat as you took in her beauty.
“Wow...you’re really beautiful Zecora...”
She gave a nod for you to proceed. You leaned in and gave her a tender kiss. She responded by slowly draping her forehooves along your neck and pulled you in to return the gesture.
While in each other's embrace, you gently caressed her left ear, which earned you a soft moan. She affectionately stroked shoulder blades.
“Mhm...you’ve got such soft hooves Zecora,” you sighed.
You smirked as you gave her a quick peck on the cheek before you got up to retrieve the picnic supplies. When you came back, you spread out the blanket and set up the picnic. Once you were done, you motioned for her to come to you.
“You’re picnic awaits, milady,” you stated.
As the two of you sat down, you pulled out an assortment of lily, cucumber, and mixed veggie sandwiches. Also, some strawberries (which you knew where her favorite), and a special mixed fruit blended drink.
“You provide well for me; I just might give you a treat,” she spoke with a half-lidded gaze.
With that, she began to eat her meal. While eating, she grabbed one of the strawberries and suggestively licked the tip of the strawberry before eating it. You grinned at her and wrapped her in an affectionate embrace. The two of you fell onto the blanket laughing. Once on your backs, you both look up and gaze at the stars.
“I really am glad I came to Equestria,” you stated.
She leaned in for another kiss, but this one had a little more passion to it. You returned it with just as much enthusiasm. As you two were locked in your intimate session, you were interrupted by a voice.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but you’re the one call Zecora correct?” it asked.Her brother? ’Her mother and sister? She never said anything about that ,” you thought.
Zecora’s ears perked up as his words fell on them. She fell deafly silent for a moment but soon turned around with a look of distinct rage burning within her eyes.
“For their foul intents, they have a signed a death warrant,” she coldly spoke.

The next morning, you’d finished packing up for your mission to save Zecora’s hometown. After you came home last night and explained the situation to her, Twilight had locked herself in the lab and quickly went to work making you a magically enhanced version of the elixir. After many hours of work she was finally able to complete it. As you two headed for the station, Zecora was waiting for you at the castle doors. The three of you then, made your way to the train station.
“Is it weird that I'm kinda excited for this trip?” you grinned.
“Well, you’re about to spend time with a completely different culture; you should be excited!” Twilight beamed.
Though you were elated to be going to a new land, Zecora was less than enthused about it.
“Given the reason why we make our trip; the learning experience we might skip,” she spoke.
“Yeah but this is the first time I’ve ever left Ponyville without Twilight. I can’t wait to get there and save the day.”
“Your energy is heartening but my own reserves are waning,” she sighed.
You noted your mare’s solemn demeanor and pulled her in close to you.
“Don’t worry dear. We’ll save you kindred. I swear!” you stated with confidence.
To this, she gave a small smile.
“I can fight timberwolves alone...yet I need you to keep me strong,” she noted.
“That’s what I’m here for,” you said with a wink. “So Twi, were you able to finish the potion?”
She answered with a nod.
“Now Nito...normally I wouldn’t give away a full bottle of this stuff, but given the circumstance it sounds like you may need it. Do you remember everything I said about what it does and how much you need for it to work?” she asked.
“Yeah, I got it. I can only take a maximum of two sips within a 15 minute timeframe,” you answered.
“And you know what side effects to watch out for?”
“Yes ma’am. Sheesh Twilight, we’ve been researching it for months now. I’m sure I can use it responsibly.”
Twilight then gave you a serious expression.
“This is serious, Nito. This one wasn’t made by our normal methods.”
“What do you mean, Twilight?”
“Well, for this elixir I infused it with some of my magic to make the effects stronger.”
This certainly piqued the interest of both you and Zecora.
“How much stronger are we talking about, Twilight?” you asked with an arched eyebrow.
“I don’t really know. I didn’t have enough time to properly test it. But if my calculations it should increase your abilities a hundredfold,” she explained. “Of course that is just a theory. I have no idea how alicorn magic will effect humans.”
“I see…”
“So…please use is sparingly, okay Nito…”
You could see the genuine concern on her face. You then give her and confident smile.
“I promise to use it wisely.”
“You can be at peace dear Twilight. I’ll be sure to watch over him in our fight,” Zecora ensured.
“Thanks Zecora. And Nito, promise to tell me everything that happens when you test it out,” requested Twilight.
“You got it!” you said, as you gave her a thumbs up.
After a few moments, you arrived at the station. You were surprise to see your other friends were waiting to see you and Zecora off. As you got closer, you noticed that Voduisant on a bench waiting for the train to come.
“Hey guys!” you grinned.
They all turned to you.
“Howdy, we were wonderin’ when you’d show up,” spoke Applejack.
“This just might be the last you see of me. Thank you all for your hospitality,” said Zecora.
Pinkie then appeared in front of her and shook her head.
“None of that talk, Zecora. You two are gonna win and when you do I’ll be sure to throw to a super big party to celebrate when to get back,” spoke Pinkie with her typical cheery tone.
“Indeed darling. Go show those ruffians whose boss!” chimed in Rarity.
Just as you were about to respond, Fluttershy spoke up.
“You two go and stomp some bugs!” she said with and unusual amount volume in her voice.
Everyone then turned to all look at her with shocked and confused expressions on their faces.
“Well...if you never stand up to bullies then they’ll never stop...”
“I guess that’s true, Fluttershy,” you chuckled.
“Little tip, Nito. Changelings underbellies are a lot softer than their backs,” stated Rainbow.
“How do you know that?” you inquired.
“Experience,” she responded with a smug grin.
“Ah…” you acknowledged.
At that moment, the train pulled into the station.
“If we’re done here, we need to be on our way,” bluntly spoke Voduisant, as he boarded the train.
With a brief nod to the others, Zecora boarded as well without another word.
“My, what a charmer,” huffed Rarity.
“Yeah he sure seems like a lot of fun,” sarcastically spoke Pinkie
“Yeah, a real barrel of laughs,” you said with rolled eyes. “Well I guess we’re off.”
Twilight then hugged you.
“Be careful of there, Nito,” she spoke in a motherly tone.
“I promise I will Twi,” you replied.
Without warning, Pinkie then gave you her trademark lung-crushing hug.
“Come back soon, Nito!” she beamed, as she let you go.
“O...kay...Pinkie…” you strained.
“Be safe, Nito,” smiled Fluttershy.
“I will, plus I'll bring you guys back some souvenirs,” you spoke.
“Ooh, bring me back one of their horns!” requested Rainbow.
You shook your head and gave her disapproving glance.
“Umm...no Rainbow. I’ll bring some native trinkets or something,” you replied.
“Yeah...reel it back Rainbow...” chimed in Applejack.
To that Rainbow merely huffed.
“Nito, darling could you maybe bring me back some there cultural fabrics?” asked Rarity.
“You got it. Rarity.”
She gave you a thankful smile. As the train whistle blew, you knew it was time to go.
“Guess it’s time,” you sighed as you picked up your bags.
As you boarded the train, you looked back to your friends one last time.
“See you guys in a few days,” you said with a waved.
They gave their own farewell and waved goodbye as well. With that the doors closed and train departed. The last image you saw was of them waving to you with Pinkie hopping in place.
For most of the trip, the three of you stood in awkward silence. You could feel the anger and resentment Zecora had for him. You knew that there were many things she wanted to say to this guy, but she chose to remain silent. After a little while you decided to speak up.
“So what’s the plan of attack?” you asked.
“When we arrive will need to make our way through the dense jungle to the village,” explained Voduisant. “If you’ll excuse, I’m gonna go see when we’ll arrive.”
As he left the cabin, you slowly began to understand why your mare hates this stallion. Zecora then tapped your shoulder to get your attention. When you turned to her to see that she had the same frown you had on your face.
“The only things I care for back there, are now full of dread and despair. I’m counting on you to help keep my rage low, so that my fury won’t take control. Even though anger is power, blind rage won’t bring me honor,” she requested.
“Yes, Sifu!” you answered with a confident nod.
“For my tone I hope you can forgive me...this isn’t who I would want you to see,” she sighed.
“I take no offense, Sifu. I understand this is hard for you to do,” you said to comfort her.
She then let out as thankful sigh.
“Thank you…my dearest true…”
“You’re welcome, my lo-”
You were then interrupted by a cough from Voduisant. You turned to the door to see that he once again interrupted another tender moment between the two of you.
“Save your sweet nothings for another time, you two,” he bluntly stated. “We’re almost at our stop.”
Zecora let out deep breath, as if to signal she was struggling to maintain her composure. You then placed a hand on her shoulder to try and quell her pending rage.
“Thank you, Voduisant. We’ll be ready, just let us know when we arrive,” you said with a fake smile.
With a huff, he left again to gather his belongings. When you looked down, you saw Zecora was gritting her teeth.
“Easy Zecora...”
She then let out a deep sigh.
“The only thing that I find comforting; is that him needing our help must really sting,” she voiced.
“Probably, but don’t let him get to you.”
She then lean against you.
“Please keep me grounded, Nito. Otherwise, I just might break his nose,” she warned.
You couldn’t help but chuckle at how serious she was about her threat.
“I will my love.”
After a few minutes, you felt the train comes to a stop. You looked outside to see the surrounding area was full of lush jungle. Voduisant then came for you two.
“We’ve arrived…” he spoke.
We both took a deep breath and then got up from our seat.
“I never imagined that I’d come back here. Not since I had lost my brother most dear,” sighed Zecora.
As you and Zecora grabbed your belongings the three of you proceed off the train. Once the train departed, Voduisant turned to you with a serious demeanor.
“Take heed you two. Our foe has eyes and ears all over the jungle,” he warned.
You both nodded.
“Okay lead the way,” you said.
Your journey lead you deep within the lush the jungle. After walking for what seemed like a few miles, you arrived at border of the village. But when you looked upon it, it appeared to be abandoned and in ruin. When you looked to Zecora, you saw the despair and anger in her eyes.
“Why did you bring to this place? Clearly our arrival is too late,” she seethed.
“Our tribe is still alive. This was just for show, to make us lower our guard,” Voduisant noted.
“Who would do this?” you asked.
“That’d be yours truly… and you’re not too late. You’ve arrived precisely when I wanted you too,” a voice spoke from the shadow of a nearby tree. “I can’t complete my collection if there’s one zebra missing, can I?”
You all then turned to the figure emerge from the shadows. It was a tall, stocky wingless dark grey changeling stallion. He had a matted ruby mane, two protruded fangs, scarlet red eyes with light green irises.
“You!” bellowed Voduisant. “Where are the other zebras?!”
“Oh calm down they’re safe and mostly unharmed,” he darkly chuckled.
He then slowly approached the group. With each step, you could feel the intimidating aura that he gave off. You’d never encounter a changeling before, but if he was the standard then they are truly a race to be reckoned with. As he now stood before you he was easily a head shorter than you.
“They are currently enjoying themselves as guest in our lovely community. If you want I can take you-” he started.
“I don’t believe you! The words you speak are not true!” Zecora spat.
He then let out a sinister chuckle.
“It seems my ruse didn’t quite work… My sincerest apologies. I went about this the wrong way, allow me to introduce myself,” he confessed, with a brief bow. “I am Shade, leader of colony 2687531. They’ve been relocated to our colony and they’re currently feeding my soldiers.”
The fact that he said that with no remorse began to make your blood boil.
“You monster! Well don’t get use to them. Because we’re here to save them,” you boldly declared.
He then turned his attention to you and gave you a menacing grin.
“Monster am I? Better be nice to me...monsters can be very dangerous,” he coldly spoke.
“I’m not scared of you,” you replied.
“Good. I hope we can get along,” he said with a fake smile.
“Why would we ever want to be friends with you? We’ll save the village and beat you too!” Zecora professed.
“Your tribe is perfectly fine. They’ll be allowed to go about their normal lives while in the colony. They just be required to feed my colony,” he explained, but then tapped his chin. “That’s all there is too it...think of it like...no, what’s the word...well you’re...ok fine you’re all nothing more than well-kept cattle. There… I said it.”
With that, you’ve heard enough.
“Enough talk!” you spoke with clenched fist.
You placed your bag on the ground and reached into get the elixir. You then took a swig of the elixir and tied the flask to your belt with a rope. The effect were immediate as you felt newfound power course through you as your body as you were shrouded in a light blue aura.
‘Wow, Twilight wasn’t kidding. I feel way more powerful ,’ you thought in amazement.
“Well…isn’t this interesting. Guards!” spoke Shade.
At that moment, seven changeling drones appeared.
“You two handle the grunts. I’ll deal with Shade,” said Voduisant.
“Right!” you replied, as you cracked your knuckles.
“Leave them to us! Fall! VAE VICTIS !” shouted Zecora.
“Bring them to me!” ordered Shade.
As the drones charged, Voduisant leapt over them and headed for Shade. That left you and Zecora to deal with the approaching changelings.
You and Zecora were then surrounded by the group of changeling drones. As they waited for them to make their move the two of you stood back to back and discussed your plan of attack.
“How shall we do this, Sifu?” you asked taking a fighting stance.
“Conserve your strength so you will last. Then wait to strike and beat them fast,” she instructed.
“Right!” you acknowledged.
After a few moment, the three drones lunged at you two. Zecora took a defensive pose as she waited for their assault. When two of the drones were close enough, you delivered and aura palm strike to send them flying. Zecora then waited until just before the changeling reach her. She ducked low to dodge the tackle, then harshly kicking with her forelegs as she rises. The struck opponent is sent back into another one.
“Nice one Zecora,” you said, as you delivered an aura blast to send another one flying.
Zecora gracefully sidesteps another charging changeling, while she struck another in the same move. You’ve notice the Zecora’s fighting style is similar to a form of dance, only striking after building momentum from a dodge.
“It would much indeed seem to be; that they are their own enemy,” she observed.
“Good point,” you replied.
Following her lead, then matched her movements to guide one drone into another.
“How clumsy,” you taunted.
The other drones hesitated briefly and then wildly charge Zecora only to be sent crashing into each other again.
“Though their numbers are great and intimidating, their coordination is thus far is lacking,” noted Zecora.
“That’s an understatement,” you chuckled. “Shall we end this?”
She nodded then took a back step to coral several into a single spot. As you did this, you began to draw on your new power to prepare to launch an attack. Just as you were ready about fire, you saw the she had them right in your range.
“I’m ready Zecora! Move out of the way!” you called out.
Heeding your words, she leapt into the air.
“Take this!” you shouted, as you launched a powerful aura blast at the group.
The attack quickly overtook the drones as they were engulf by the light. As it faded, you saw the grunts were on the ground defeated.
“That was easy...” you scoffed.
“For warriors he asked, this was such a simple task,” Zecora mocked.
“Well, to be fair those grunts volunteered to skip their first good meal in a long time to come with me to give you a proper greeting,” Shade spoke, as he approached the two of you.
He appeared to not have a single scratch on him.
“Well, they weren’t much of a challenge for us. We were able beat them quite easily,” you grinned.
“You just beat two starving Changelings to a pulp; and now you're gloating about your victory?” Shade asked with a tilted head and an arched eyebrow. “You called me a monster, but you’re kind of a jerk.”
“Takes one to know one,” you spat back.
“Hmm… I can’t argue that,” he chuckled, as he tapped his chin to consider your words.
“And now you’re next!” you threatened.
“Well... I wouldn’t be too sure of that, kid,” Shade mocked.
“What do you mean by that?” you questioned.
“Think about it…I uprooted an entire village save for one lone Zebra so he could fetch me the last one. I don’t consider any of you a threat. By the way...have you even once wondered what happened your little friend?”
He was right. You and Zecora looked around to see that Voduisant was gone.
“Where is he? What did you to him?” you glared at Shade.
“He on his way to join his kind at their new home. I disposed of him and sent him off without any real effort,” Shade spoke with an air of confidence.
The merely smug tone he had was starting to piss you off.
“So, are you sure you want to fight me, kid? I only need her to complete my collection,” he began with an arrogant smile. “Look, suffice to say I can trounce a seasoned warrior without any of effort. Just let me take the mare and we can part ways.”
The fact that he felt you were no threat to him only made you want to knock that smug grin off his face. You grab your flask and took another sip. You then felt your power grow stronger.
“Over my dead body!” you barked.
Once again, Shade display a cocky smirk.
“A little liquid courage, eh biped?” he jeered.
Before you could reply, he lunged at you to deliver a powerful hoof strike. Before it could connect, you vanished from sight.
“...Wait...What?!” Shade uttered.
While he was caught off guard, Zecora delivered a kick to his side.
“A magic biped and a zebra that fights dirty...so be it!” he said, before he lunged at Zecora.
Before he could attack her, he appeared in front of her and deliver a roundhouse kick to his jaw that sent him crashing into a nearby house.
“Zecora it’s you he’s after. Go hide and let me handle him,” you pleaded.
“The fight is also mine, I won’t lose to his kind!” she replied.
“...Okay...first of all that came off as racist,” bluntly stated Shade.
You both looked to see Shade emerge from the house. He then glared at the two of you with a bemused scowl.
“And second...I’m starting to get mad!” he coldly spoke.
“So what-”
Before you could finish your statement, he charged you with a newfound speed. It caught you both off guard, as your both sent flying into separate trees. As you got to your feet, it was time to counterattack.
“That’s it! Time to get serious!” you declared.
Without missing a beat, you charges him again at a blinding speed. As you did this you then focused your aura into your right which caused to glow a fiery red hue. You then vanish again. Annoyed, Shade turned his attention to Zecora. Once again, before he could reach her you appear again to deliver a powered uppercut. To your surprise, Shade caught your fist with his hoof.
“Yeah...that won’t work on me again, kid!” taunted Shade.
“Oh, you think so?” you grinned.
“Of course I do-”
Shade is then hit in the snout by the knee of something and is knocked to the ground. When he looked up he saw two of you standing in front of him. The other you then faded away.
“How’d you like my magical double?” you grinned.
“Okay...I’ll admit it. That was actually kind of cool...” he confessed as he got to his hooves.
Once vertical, he let out feral roar and lunged at you. Unable to dodge in time, Shade proceed lift you with his magic. He then delivered a forehoof to your stomach which sent smashing into a nearby hut. As you tried to get up you brace your ribs with you left arm.
“Okay...that one hurt…” you groaned.
Before you had time to recover, Shade appeared behind you smashed you through the front door. As you skidded to a stop, Shade began to slowly walk toward you. As you struggled to get to your feet, he couldn’t help but laugh at your display.
“And how did that one feel, biped?” Shade mocked.
When you got vertical, you saw him prepare for another charge. Before he could get a full head of steam, he is sent flying to the ground by a swift kick from Zecora. As he wiped the blood from his mouth, he glared at the two of you.
"Ok that’s it! No more of this two on one garbage! Now we get serious !” he roared.
Before he could get up, you took another swig of potion (now that you are outside of the 15 minute limitation). As you felt you wounds heal, you were struck with an idea for an attack. It was from one of your favorite series back on earth and now that you have enhanced powers you decide to give it a try. You then positioned you hand so the base of your palms are touching. You then move them to you side and began to drawn upon your power.
“Ka…me…ha…me…” you started.
At that moment a light blue aura ball began to form in your hands.
“What the buck are you doing?” asked a confused Shade.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” you answered with a cocky grin.
“Is that so?” he smirked before charging you.
You waited till he was a few feet away from you.
“HA! ” you shouted as you fired the attack.
Shade is then enveloped by the attack. He’s sent crashing through several trees and into the jungle. With his body marred, teleported back to the village. After a quick healing spell, Shade turned his gaze to you. When he did you could see the pure hatred burning in his eyes for you.
“...I am going...to wear...your face!” Shade darkly spoke.
He then calmly marched toward you. But this time you knew something was up. His aura was a lot more intimidating, and with each step his hoof were indenting in the ground.
“He’s both stubborn and durable. That makes quite the dangerous combo,” Zecora noticed.
“Yeah, but it’s nothing we can’t handle,” you reassured her.
“Before I kill you, I’m gonna feed off your Zebra friend. And when I’m done, that’s when I’ll put you out of your misery. Imagine it, the last image you’ll see is your dear friend being drained while you can do nothing to stop it. Seriously, take a moment to digest my promise in its complete form,” Shade spoke with a deep and darkened tone.
“Big talk bug! Let’s see if you can back it up!” you goaded. “As long as I’m breathing you’ll never lay a hoof on her!”
You then fired a barrage of aura shots at him. To your amazement, Shade dodged your assault with minimal effort.
‘WHAT?! How can he- ’ you thought.
You thoughts were interrupted with an eerie laugh that came from Shade.
“...Looks like I found your weak spot,” he stated with a mocking smile.
“Huh? What are you-”
He then disappeared in a flash. Before you could react, he grabbed Zecora and pinned her to a tree.
“Zecora! You bastar-”
Just as you were about to charge, her wrapped a forehoof around her throat.
“Care to take a shot at me now biped? Or are you now willing to talk this out?” queried Shade.
You then gritted your teeth.
“Why you dirty, rotten-”
He then tightened his grip on her neck.
“No...please finish that sentence. Get me nice and upset. Make me break her neck so we can continue our fight,” he threatened.
“Let her go! And let’s settle this like men! Or are you the pathetic bug I think you are?”
“You think I am just a bug. I know that I hold all the cards.”
“Then prove your worth insect.”
As he continued to tighten his grip, Zecora began to shift her body.
“...you seriously dare...think me a helpless mare?” she spoke.
With a swift motion, she delivered a swift strike to the underbelly of Shade. The sudden impact caused him to drop her. She then tossed him over her shoulder. You moved out of the way as he flew past you and slammed him into the ground. As he got to his hooves, you saw that his horn began to glow with a light green aura.
“I don't know what you're planning, but I'm not letting happen!” you said, as you started to charge him.
Just as you were about to attack him you noticed a pin sized dot of red light on your left shoulder.
‘What the- ’
Shade then fired a thin ray of energy at the dot which felt your were struck by a very thick needle. The pain from the attack forced you to fall to a knee. When you looked to see if the attack did any damage, you shocked to find that there was no wound.
“Err...what was that?” you asked holding your shoulder.
“Just my ‘Phantom Shot’. It attack the inner body without leaving a mark. Cool, huh?” he explained.
“Not bad,” you admitted.
Shade then lifted his forehoof to strike you. You quickly drew on your power your right fist is engulfed in a fiery red aura. You then dodge the strike and hit him square in the chest to once again send him into a house. This time when he emerged from the rubble, he didn’t appear to be damaged. He was able to stand up without much difficulty.
“Hmm...what happened to your strength, biped? That house hurt more than your attack did,” he mocked, as he dusted himself off.
‘Crap...he strength is increasing faster then I excepted… ’ you noted.
You then look at him with a false bravado.
“I guess that means I shouldn't hold back anymore,” you declared.
You then heard a dark chuckle come for the unshaken changeling. He then gave you a psychotic smile.
“Is that so? Well then...I guess I should do the same,” he stated.
With that, he let out a roar that seem to make his aura grow more powerful.
‘This isn’t good ’ you gulped.
His horn then illuminated as he lifted the rubble from the house around him.
“Now then…let’s play!” Shade laughs.
He then hurled the rubble at you two at a fast speed. Just as you were prepare to dodge, you feel two piercing shots in both of your knees. When you fell to the ground, you looked to see that Shade had fire another round of his ‘Phantom Shot’ attack at you. But this time he was able to do it without you seeing it coming. With no way to dodge, you braced yourself for the approaching onslaught.
“Nito!” Zecora shouted.
She then ran up to you and pulled you down to the ground. The debris then grazed your bodies and slammed into the wall a few feet behind you.
“Thanks Zecora,” you spoke.
“It may be too soon to thank me. I fear he’s now a greater enemy,” she warned.
As you began to heal your wounds, Shade began to march toward you two. You now see he has a large piece of glass he acquired from the debris floating in front of him held by his aura.
“As promised...I’ll be taking that face,” he threatened, his words laced with malice.
“Zecora...I can’t take another sip of the elixir for another 2 minutes,” you said, a little worried. “We need a plan.”
She then looked at you with an steeled resolve.
“All I can think of is this pact...when the time comes don’t think, just act,” she began. “Some of the last words laid by my late brother Blade.”
With a deep breath she steadied herself.
“If this is to be the end of us...we must still send him to Tartarus!” she proclaimed.
This got a chuckle from the approaching changeling.
“Bold words, zebra. I can still walk and you two can barely even stand. Enjoy your last few moments together before I drain you dry in front of you biped friend here,” taunted the menacing changeling.
You then saw her step in front of you.
“Zecora wait. What’re you gonna do?” you queried.
“Same thing that you're going to do…Die!” stated Shade.
“The fight may not be it my favor. But my resolve will not waver!” she boldly stated, as she charged him.
“Zecora wait!” you called out.
“That’s a good girl…”
Just as she was about the deliver a hoof strike to his jaw, Shade easily sidestepped the assault, and stomped her into the ground which knocked the wind out of her. He then used his aura to pick her up by the throat. As she struggled to get free, Shade laughed with amusement.
“There…there….try not to wear yourself out. I wouldn’t be to enjoy myself if you went and died,” he mockingly sneered.
He then tightened his around her throat. After a few moments, her eyes began to slowly close her eyes as her limbs went limp.
“There you go...now just lie still and I’ll be right back,” he said, as she tossed her to the ground.
He then turned his attention to you and pointed to the glass shard at you.
“Now your turn!”
You then struggled to get your feet.
“Zecora...Zecora...” you said.
Once on your feet, you then gave him a fierce glare.
“YOU’RE DEAD! ” you yelled.
You then grabbed a nearby fallen tree limb and charged him. He then waited for you to get closer so he made deliver a precise strike. With you power running low, you fired an aura blast at him. Just as he was prepared to dodge, he felt Zecora grab his hoof.
“What? You’re still conscious?” he asked, as turned to her in disbelief.
But when he looked back to you, he was hit with the blast.
“Now…take this!” you shouted, as you swung at his side.
The impact sent him flying through a tree.
“Looks like a homerun,” you grinned. “Zecora...are you...okay?”
She gave you a weak nod, as she was struggling to maintain consciousness. As you were about to heal her, you're then tackled to the ground by Shade. You both roll around until Shade was standing above you.
“Load bearing walls...hurt more than trees, biped...” he coldly spoke, as he raised the shard of glass. “But trust me…this is gonna hurt even worse.”
As he was about the slice you with shard, you quick rolled out of the way. Once free, you used the last bit of power you had to blast the shard. The resulting impact caused it to shatter and a piece flew in Shade’s face and scratched his left eyelid. As he groaned in pain you then ran to Zecora. This was brought to a halt when you felt a series piercing shots in your legs and shoulders. As you fell to the ground, you heard the crazed laughter of Shade crept ever closer to you. When you tried to get you’re stomped into the ground.
“How...how do you even function? You clearly know you’re outmatched, but yet you continue to fight as if you’ll somehow pull off some kind of miracle. Well I have a news flash for ya biped. There are no miracles happening today. Y’know, I thought about toying with you a bit longer, but now that you’ve scarred my face…I think I’ll just end now!”
He then lifted you with his aura. You’re then greeted with a strong hoof to the gut, which sent you careening into a tree. As you slid down to the tree, your body is racking in pain. As he began to walk toward you, you felt the helplessness of the situation.
‘I...I can’t beat him... ’ you confessed.
You winced slightly as you try and get up.
‘Even I take two sips...I won’t be enough... ’
“Come on, biped. Drink some more of that strange potion of yours,” mocked Shade.
You looked to him in shock.
“What you think I didn’t noticed you get stronger after you drink it? Though I must say that I didn’t expect it to make you as strong as it did. But with a slight adjustment I was able to keep up. Now, come on and take some more so I can watch you ultimately fail,” he ridiculed.
As you heard his words, you then looked at the magic flask and then to Zecora. You knew that two sips were barely keeping to alive, you doubt three would make a difference.
“Tick tock, biped.”
There was one option left to try, but the risk were too great. The last time you did it your body completely shut down and you almost died. You then heard Twilight’s warning ringing in his ear, but they were immediately deafened when you saw your mare on the ground. You knew it was the only way to save the one you love.
‘Twilight…Zecora...please forgive me. But this is the only thing left I can do... ’
You then ripped the flask from you belt, and in one swift motion down the rest of the elixir.
“Oh ho! The biped finally showing some guts!” he scoffed.
“It’s time...I...I don’t know what will happened. But just know that you brought this on yourself!” you warned, as you threw away the flask.
“Really now? So just what is going to-”
His words faded as you felt your whole body pulsate.
‘What? What is this feeling? ’ you wondered.
At that moment, you let a loud cry as you were then shrouded by a powerful aura. As you felt the power surge throughout your body, you felt your muscles started to tightened. Your body then let out powerful shockwave as it finished its transformation.
“What has the biped done?” Shade asked in awe.
When the shroud of aura fades, Shade was stunned at your new form. Your eyes were now a dark violet, his skin a dark tan, and his hair was now midnight blue.
“…Really? That’s your big reveal...your trump card,” Shade began trying to hold back his laughter. “I guess that’s the best you can do.”
You didn’t respond as you were in awe of your newly acquired power.
‘Unbelievable…I…I had no idea I could become this strong… ’
Seeing that you ignored his statement, Shade let out an annoyed huff.
“Ignoring me huh? Well then, let’s go ahead and end this fight shall we!”
He charged you at a blinding pace. As he was about to strike, you blocked his hoof with one hand without even looking at him.
“What?!” he shouted.
He tried another strike and you blocked it again. He then stepped back delivered a series of rapid hoof strikes. You were easily able to block each one with a single hand, much to the disbelief of Shade.
‘This is impossible! There’s no way this measly biped can keep up with my speed! ’
You clutched both of his forehooves with your blocking hand. He struggled to get his hooves freed. Then, with your free hand, you delivered a palm strike that sent him careening into a wall. The impact was so hard that Shade was embedded into the wall.
‘Wh-What…the hell…just happened? ’ questioned Shade. ‘That biped…didn’t have nearly…this kinda power…before… ’
Shade use his power to break out of the wall. When he looked to you, he glared when his saw the confident smirk on your face.
“Give it up, Shade. There’s no way you can beat me now,” you spoke calmly.
“Is that so?!” he growled. “You think that since you took your little drink that you can beat me?!”
“I don’t think Shade, I know you can’t. Just look at yourself,” you pointed out.
Shade then looked down to see his body was trembling. It was the first time in a while that he felt a twinge of fear.
“Do get ahead of yourself, biped!”
Shade’s horn then began to glow as he grounded his hooves into the ground. As the energy surged within his horn he then took aim.
“SAY GOODBYE BIPED! ” he roared, as he fired a powerful aura blast at you.
You then folded your arms and waited for attack. Within moments, you remained motionless as you then were engulfed by the blast. When the energy faded, Shade feel to his knees with a heavy pant. While on the ground he looked in your direction to see the area filled with smoke. He assumed that the attack had finished you off and began to rejoice.
“So much for the great biped wonder. I should’ve warned you that nopony has every survived that attack, but too late to dwell on the past,” he laughed.
But as the smoke began to settle a faint silhouette could be seen.
“No…that’s not possible…” Shade gasped.
Much to his astonishment, you emerged from the smoke without a single scratch on you. With a stoic gaze, you made your way over to Shade.
“Was that really your best shot, Shade? If so, this fight won’t last long,” you stated.
You then saw him grit his teeth.
“Don’t you act so superior!” he barked, as he charged you.
You then let out a sigh and shook your head. Just as he was about the strike, you sidestep the attack and grip his hoof. As he tried to break free you began to slowly bend his hoof backward. With each movement backward, you add a bit more force.
“Before I end this, tell me where the colony you took the zebras to is?” you demanded.
“Go find...them...yourself…” he spat.
“Wrong answer!”
You then applied a bit more force which made him grit his teeth.
“Okay...that really hurts...stop...seriously...mercy...” whined Shade.
“Where are they?!” you barked, accented with bending back the hoof to the near snapping point.
“Okay! They’re all unconscious in cocoons in a cavern under the town! We didn’t have enough time to move all of them! I told you so please let go!” he pleaded.
“I see...”
You then let go of his hoof. Upon the release of his hoof, Shade recoiled in pain.
“This battle is over bug!” you stated, as you turned to walk to Zecora. “Leave…and don’t ever come back!”
Shade said nothing as he cradled his injured hoof. When you reached her, you could see she was on the edge of consciousness. You then knelt down and began to heal her.
“Nito...” she whispered.
“Don't speak my love. Conserve your strength,” you spoke with a loving smile.
As you were in the process of healing her, you could see some life start to return in her eyes.
“Good, it shouldn’t be long no-”
You then felt a piercing shot hit your heart. This cause you to immediately clasp your chest. When you looked over your shoulder, you see that Shade had fired one of his Phantom Shot’s at you.
“Never turn your back on your opponent, biped,” Shade spoke.
“Errr...you should’ve left when you had the chance!”
You then stood up and walked to him. He then fired another shot, which you easily dodge. But you saw that impish smirk on his face, you knew that the attack wasn't aimed at you. You then saw the shot hit Zecora square in the chest, which made her cry in pain.
“Zecora! YOU BASTARD! ” you shouted.
“It your own fault for letting your guard down, biped,” taunted Shade.
You then drew upon your power to form two giant aura spheres.
“This is where it end, Shade!”
You then combined the spheres into one. As you took aim you fired a mighty beam at him. With no way to dodge it in time, Shade formed a barrier around himself and braced for impact. When the attack collided with the barrier, Shade was immediately sent flying backward. After a few seconds, the barrier shattered and Shade that completely engulfed him. When the attack faded, you saw he was still on his hooves for a moment and then fell to the ground. You then quickly ran to your fallen love.
“Zecora…my love...please say something!” you pleaded.
She weakly opened her eyes. Not wasting another moment, you quickly began healing her again. This time you double you efforts to heal her. Just as you finished healing her you saw her look over your shoulder.
“Dearest Nito...look behind you...” she cautioned.
Just as she spoke, you dodge a piercing shot. You then turned to see the Shade was prepping for one more shot.
“You never know when to give it up do you!” you scowled.
You then turned to face him once more.
“Zecora…gets somewhere safe…” you requested, never taking your eyes off Shade.
She was about to decline, but when she could feel the strength of your aura. It was then she knew you had the fight in hand. She then quickly left to find shelter.
“Time to end this bug!”
“Bring…it…on…biped!” Shade spoke.
You then began to focus you power into your hand as Shade takes aim. Your hand then began to glow with a light blue aura. Once you felt like you had enough power stored, you then charged at a breakneck speed. Before he could launch his attack, you delivered a powerful punch to his jaw. You quickly followed up with an uppercut and a backflip kick that sent him into the air. Before he could too far, you appear above Shade and blast him back toward the ground. Just before he crashed into the ground, you struck him with an aura fist. When you drove him into the ground, you released the compressed energy which caused a massive explosion that could be seen for miles.
After the dust settled, all that could be seen was the crater where the impact occurred. As you were walking out of the crater, you drug Shade out with you. He was unconscious, but he was still breathing.
“Don’t ever come here again…or next time you won’t leave alive!” you chided.
You then threw him off into the distance were he disappeared like a twinkling star. With the battle now over, you let a deep sigh.
“It’s finally over.”
You then saw Zecora run out to you. As he walk to Zecora, you felt you body start give out.
‘Crap...the potion is wearing off… ’
Midway to Zecora you collapse and fell face first to the ground.
“Nito!” she shouted.
She quickly ran to you. When she flipped you on your back, her eyes widened in horror as she saw you knocking on death’s door. She then lifted you onto her back and carried you into a nearby hut. Once inside, she laid you on your back and began to examine you. As she did this, you’re body reverted back to normal.
“Zecora... I'm...so...rry. I didn’t...know...any...other...way…” you weakly spoke.
“Be still my heart... this day...we shall not part,” she spoke, as desperately tried to save you.
She began to chant something in her native tongue. You then reached up to her and grazed her cheek with your hand.
“Zecora...I...love...you...my beautiful...shaman…” you whispered.
She in turn gently brushed her hoof along you cheek.
“I hear your dear words and my heart is yours,” she softly spoke.
You weakly smiled.
“That...makes...me...hap...py...”
You felt your remaining strength leave you as your hand fell to the ground and his eyes started to get heavy. As your world began to fade to black, you saw working feverishly to perform some sort of technique she knew to try and save you. To this you couldn’t help but smile.
“Ze…cor…a…”
Once again, your world is consumed by darkness.

Life with the Sexy Shaman
You felt yourself slip into the darkness. As you sunk further and further, your body grew colder and colder. Just when you felt like it might be the end, you see a faint glimmer of light shining in the distance.
‘What’s that? ’ you queried.
You then hovered toward the light. As you got closer to it, you felt a warmth coming from it. There was something familiar with that warmth, something comforting about it. As you reached for the light, your body was consumed with warmth.
‘It feels so nice… ’
You then closed your eyes as the light overtook you. When you open your eyes, you found yourself looking up at an unfamiliar ceiling. When you tried to move, your body was in moderate pain. When you sat up you looked to see your body had been bandaged up. As you looked at your surroundings, it looked similar to Zecora’s tree home back in Ponyville. Though you were in some pain, it seem to temporarily vanish when you saw your mare, asleep at your side. As you saw her face, it was apparent that she’d been crying for you. With a smile on your face you reached down to gently stroke her mane.
“Zecora~” you cooed.
She stirred in her sleep, but didn’t open her eyes. She leaned into your tender contact.
“I miss you so very much…that I can even feel your warm touch,” she mumbled in her sleep.
You couldn’t help but laugh at how cute your mare was.
“Zecora...wake up my love~”
The moment she heard your voice her ears perked up. She immediately woke you and looked at you.
“Morning my lo-”
You were cut off as you were rushed by a striped blur. Zecora hugged you tight as she cried tears of joy.
“What a blessed day! Thank Celestia you’re okay!” she cried.
“Zecora…”
She then looks up to you. Before you could react, you found your lips pressed against hers as she pulled you into a passionate kiss to display her happiness. You in return the kiss, but soon pulled back as you winced slightly as your body was still in a little pain. Zecora then move back as well, but looked at you with a warm smile.
“Our deed is done. Nito, the battle you have won,” she spoke with pride.
“Doesn’t feel like it,” you joked. “How long was I out?”
“You were asleep for two days, the wounds you suffered were very grave.”
“Two days?! But then where are we?”
“We’re in a secluded small home. I insisted on healing you alone,” she explained.
“Oh, I see. And are the others safe?”
She gave an assuring smile.
“It seems Voduisant was quite the cunning cad. He purposely threw the fight that he had. And while we battle the villain Shade, he went and fought the ones in the colony and the other zebras were saved.”
“Well, that was actually pretty clever. Speaking of which, what happened after Shade was defeated?”
“I’d heard that in the end, the other drones turned tail and fled.”
“Good,” you sighed. “Then I guess it was mission accomplished.”
As you breathed in you felt a slight discomfort and quickly grabbed you ribs.
“Ugh...I guess I gotta take it easy huh?” you groaned.
She then tenderly placed her hoof on your chest.
“Rest yourself Nito. For now, I’ll take care of you,” she sweetly spoke.
“Yes, my shaman,” you nodded.
At that moment, you both heard a knock at the door.
“I wonder who that is?” you pondered.
Zecora then headed to the living room to answer the door. When she opened it she saw that it was her mother and her little sister. Her mother was a tall zebra mare with a light gray coat and black stripes, and cyan eyes, while her little sister was a petite zebra mare with a white coat and dark gray stripes, and sky blue eyes. Her sister tackled Zecora into a hug.
“Sister, it is true. You come home...how I missed you,” her sister spoke with jubilation.
“Please forgive the late hour of my return,” Zecora said, as she gave her a small smile. “After we lost Blade I could not stay and mourn.”
“We understand my child and we can forgive,” her mother said as she entered the home. “But tell me...who is this?
Zecora turned to see that you’d gotten out of bed after you heard the commotion.
“He is the village savior. And he's also my lover,” Zecora confessed.
“Our savior and your lover you claim. Tell me stranger what is your name,” her mother asked.
You then told her your name.
“But I go by Nito,” you said.
“Both of those are really strange. Why do you have such funny names?” asked her sister.
“I know you have questions for him to digest; but please mother and sister Nito needs rest,” Zecora requested.
“Aww...” whined her sister.
You couldn’t help but chuckle at her little sister’s antics.
“It’s okay dear. I’m well enough that I can answer a few questions,” you stated.
“If you insist, but at least rest,” she said, as she ushered you back to bed.
“Yes ma’am.”
You knew well enough not to argue with your mare so you hopped back into bed. Zecora then took a spot next to you and sat at your side.
“Now, tell me who you fine mares are?” you asked.
“I am Rhani, her sister,” answered the younger mare.
“And I’m Zhara; Zecora’s mother,” spoke the mature one.
As you looked at her mother, it was easy to see where Zecora got her natural beauty from. You then gave them both a warm smile.
“I’m pleased to meet you,” you stated. “I can see where Zecora gets her looks from.
To your surprise this got a blushed smile from Zhara.
“You’re quite a charming one,” she replied.
“Is that how her heart was won?” chimed in Rhani.
“Well, I guess you could say that. Though to be honest, she won my heart first,” you admitted.
This got an arched eyebrow from her mother.
“So very deeply enamored you are? And I trust you’re respectful of my daughter?"
“Mother!” said Zecora.
“I’m very respectful, ma’am. I haven’t tried anything that she hasn’t consented to,” you declared.
“That is most wise. If you dare to hurt her, I aim for eyes,” Rhani bluntly warned.
“Mother…Rhani…I beg you to stop please…” Zecora voiced with a blush. “You both are embarrassing me…”
“That’s okay dear. They’re just doing what families do. Besides, you’re really cute when you blush dear,” you teased, as you nuzzled her neck.
This earned you the treasured smile that only your mare can give you. As the time went on, the four of you enjoyed a friendly chat. You asked questions about their culture and you in turn answered the questions they had about yours. Before you knew it, noon had come and gone. During your conversation, your stomach growled loudly. This caused the mare to laugh and you to blush.
“Guess I’m a little hungry,” you uttered.
“Well then a meal I shall prepare for you, which means it’s time to part you two,” said Zecora.
“Indeed, daughter we have much to do. The village was ruined by that Shade brute,” Zhara sighed.
“Maybe, you two can help us too. If it’s not a bother to you?” asked Rhani.
“Help you two we shall, but I must insist. Not ‘til he has gotten some rest,” Zecora interjected.
The three of you nodded in agreement.
“Very well. Can you two let Voduisant know that I’m well and that we’ll return to the village once I’ve recovered?”
“Indeed we can…” spoke Zhara. “Now, rest well my dear man.”
“I will,” you smiled.
With a nod, the two left to give a report to Voduisant. As you sat in the bed you turned to your love.
“I like them,” you said.
“And it seems that they like you as well. Though a little protective from what you could tell,” she chuckled. “It’s been many years since I’ve been gone. It brings me joy that we could free my home.”
“Me too, my love,” you agreed. “So, how long do you think it’ll take me to heal?”
“Your wounds weren’t too severe,” she smiled. “But it may take a few days I fear.”
“I see…”
“It’s best for you to take it slow or else the pain will grow,” she instructed.
“Yes ma’am. By the way…”
You then pulled her into a tender kiss.
“When I’m fully healed I’ll be sure to thank you properly,” you winked.
With a sheepish smile she returned your affection.
“Oh you; for that I can wait. Afterall, we never finished our date,” she teased.
“I’ll be sure to make it up to you,” you smirked.
This got a gentle smile and nuzzle to your cheek. Once again your stomach began to growl.
“Guess I’m hungrier than I thought,” you laughed. “So, what’s for lunch?”
“Well, you bested a foe most dire. Tell me, what does a hero most desire?” Zecora inquired.
You thought for a moment.
“How about our favorite stew?”
“That I can do, for my dearest true.”
You internally rejoiced.
“I can already taste your delicious brew,” you spoke with a watered mouth.
She just shook her head at your reaction as she made her way over to the fire pit. Once the fire was lit she began to cook the meal.
“I wish I could help you make it. I always love it when we cook it together,” you said a little sad.
She then turned to you and gave an approving nod.
“I will let you help...but only if you pace yourself.”
“I promise, dear.”
She then motioned for you to join her. You gingerly got out of bed, and made your way into the front room. There, the two of you began to make the brew. The whole time Zecora never once lowered her loving gaze toward you. After a little while, the stew was completed. You both then sat around the fire, leaning against each other, and enjoying the delicious meal.
“Delicious as always, dear,” you sighed.
“I’m so glad that you approve, my most precious you…” she cooed.
You then pulled her into a warm embrace and you two sat by the fire.
“So you’re mom and sis seem like they’re really good mares,” you mentioned.
“Take heart dear Nito; they see you in a good light,” she spoke, then had a brief pause. “It’s when they’re silent that you should feel some fright.”
“I’ll be sure to remember that,” you gulped.
She got up to add more wood the fire and then returned to your side. You noticed that it was nighttime, and let out a brief yawn.
“It seems that my beloved needs sleep. Would you like some company?” she asked.
“I would love that Zecora,” you replied, as you gave her tender ear rub.
You both then retreat from the fire and head to the bedroom. Once you laid on the bed, Zecora soon joined you.
“To show each other such tenderness,” she sighed, as she inched closer to you so her chest aligned with yours. “Now I feel such happiness.”
“As do I my love. And once I'm recovered I'll make up the date that was ruin,” you sighed.
She then snuggled closer to you.
“Oh I know you will, but for now lie still,” she breathed.
“Yes, my sexy shaman,” you hummed, as you wrapped her in a tight embrace.
She then carefully positioned herself that she slightly was atop of you and her heart is atop of yours. You couldn’t help but smiled at her actions.
“I love the warmth you bring, Zecora,” you softly spoke.
She in turn gave you a tender kiss that you earnestly returned. You both then began to slowly drift toward sleep.
“Goodnight, Zecora. I love you…” you whispered.
“And I love you, dearest Nito…” she replied in a hushed tone.
After a few moments, you both fell asleep.
After sending Twilight a letter to let her know of your status, you rested to try and quickly recover. After a few days you were able to recover most of your strength and true to your word both of you began to help rebuild the village. The villagers were in awe of you two at first, but soon came to appreciate what you and Zecora did for them. While there you also learned many new things about Zecora’s culture (their music, cuisine, fighting techniques, etc.) After a few days, the repairs to the village were complete. The days to follow went by rather smoothly, and you made a full recovery under the tender care of Zecora.
With a sigh, Zhara calmly walked up and yanked the covers off of you two. The sudden exposure to the cold air caused you both to stir.
“Unless the two of you have properly mated I see no reason to let you have the day wasted,” she spoke with a slight annoyance.
You then sat up and groggily looked toward them.
“Huh, what time is it?” you replied, a bit hazed.
“It’s about 5pm,” spoke Voduisant.
“I guess that I’ve gotten a bit lax being away from Twilight for so long,” you chuckled.
“I can understand a need to wake me; but please was that really necessary?” groaned Zecora.
“Yes, we came to inform you that we’re preparing a feast for the two of you,” answered Voduisant.
His statement caught you off guard.
“Really? For us? But why?” you inquired with a bit of confusion.
“It’s a great feast just to show you our appreciation. For your victory over the changelings, and our village’s restoration,” smiled Rhani.
“The entire village...and I cannot refuse?” asked Zecora.
They three then turned to her in shock.
“Why would you?” questioned Voduisant.
You placed your hand gently on your mare’s shoulder.
“Come on, Zecora. It could be fun,” you smile.
But when she turned to look to you, it was then you saw a look of hesitance on her face.
“I haven’t been here for many long years…such a feast I’m not worthy of it I fear,” she sighed.
You then gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“If any zebra deserves to have a feast in her honor…it’s you my love,” you cooed.
Zecora blushed and then nuzzled for cheek.
“You should know that the elders have elected to honor your mate with the title of Shaman Warrior?” spoke Voduisant.
“Shaman Warrior? You mean like Zecora?” you responded in disbelief.
“Yes,” he nodded.
“It’s not surprising to me. After such an impressive victory,” Zecora chimed in.
“I’m truly honored,” you humbly stated.
“The ceremony will take place it a few hours. Please arrive promptly,” said Voduisant.
“Yes, sir,” you replied.
The three then take their leave and head out to help prepare for the feast. You still were left in awe as to what you were just told.
“I...I just don’t know what to say…” you said in awe.
Zecora then gave you an affectionate nuzzle.
“Well neither did I when it was my time,” admitted Zecora. “And soon you will be titled too; an honor only given to hearts most true.”
“And it’s even better, because I’ll have my mare by my side,” you winked, as you pulled her in close.
“As long as you will have me. Right here is where I’ll always be,” she cooed.
“And I don’t have any plans to ever leave you. So, shall we head to the feast?”
She responded with a nod. You both then shower and get dressed for the event. Once done you both headed for the village. As you walked through the village you could see the festive décor all throughout the town. Along the way, Zhara and Rhani came to accompany you to the feast. Along the way, you came across the town graveyard. As you walked by, you notice that Zecora glanced at one of the stones.
“Something wrong dear?” you inquired.
She remained silent as you continued to look at the stone.
“Zecora, what is this place?”
“It’s where we lay our dead to rest. That stone belongs to my brother who I miss,” she somberly answered.
“I see...”
You then left her side and walked of over to the graveyard. Curious, she slowly followed you. You then walked over to Blade’s head stone. You then knelt down to it.
“Shaman Warrior Blade...I am honored to be in your presence. Though I never got the chance to meet you, I feel as though we’re kindred spirits,” you began. “Your boundless courage and steeled resolve is something I hope to attain one day. But on my honor as a soon to be Shaman Warrior, I make an oath to you here and now. I vow to look after your sister and protect her with my life.”
As your words reached her, Zecora felt her tears flow. When you turned to her, she wiped her eyes. It’s very apparent that she truly missed her brother. You then wrapped her in a tight embrace.
“Though years have pass and here he lay; how dearly I do miss you Blade,” she spoke.
You release your embrace and kneel eye level to her.
“I know you do dear, but as long as you keep him in here,” you stated, as you pointed to her heart. “He’ll never really be gone.”
She then took your words to heart and took a deep breath. She made her way over to the stone and bowed.
“Rest easy, dear Blade. For peace to our village has been made,” she proudly spoke.
Her mother and Rhani join her at his stone. Together they all offered up a silent prayer for her brother. After they were done, they turned to you.
“Ready to go?” you asked.
“Yes…” Zecora answered. “He gave his life to save mine...and I swore to be wise with my time.”
“I’m sure he would be proud of the mare you’ve become,” you smiled.
“I’m sure that is true. I know he would’ve liked you,” she said.
“And I would’ve liked him too.”
Zecora then returned to Blade’s head stone and placed her hoof along the top of it. She then let out a deep sigh. You then walk up and placed your hand over her hoof.
“Zecora...”
She then shook her head and look to you with a grateful smile.
“Come Nito, it’s your day. Let us be on our way.”
“Of course my dear…”
With that, the four of you left the graveyard and headed to the feast.
Upon your arrival, the four of you were greeted with cheers. Both you and Zecora greeted with bows and adulations. It almost felt like you were royalty. The two of you were then escort to place of which was a lavishly decorated table with various tribal motifs.
“I feel kinda embarrassed,” you said.
“There is no need for you to my dear. They’ve all come to honor you here,” she explained.
You then pulled her close.
“I’m glad you’re here with me dear.”
“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be, than beside my sweetie.”
You then gently caressed the back of her ear.
“A very bold move played by you…so you’re into voyeurism Nito?”
You then playfully stuck out your tongue.
“Sorry, I just felt like teasing you,” you spoke.
She then gave you a sensual grin.
“You’ll find that I’m far from tame,” she purred, as her tail traced along your most personal region. “You see that I too can play this game.”
The initial contact caused you to shiver.
“That’s my mare,” you chuckled.
You then looked over to see her mother and sister noticed your playful session. While Rhani stifles a giggle, her mother gave you a disapproving glare.

“She is a most dangerous enemy; a mother watching over her filly,” she retorted.
You then continued to rub her ears.
“But wasn’t she the one asking if we mated just a little while ago?”
“And clearly we haven’t so until then...scaring you off is considered fair game.”
“I see… Well what about this?”
You then traced her spine with youyour index and middle fingers. She shudders at your touch and gave you a pleased smile.
“Before this day is through...I might have an oral treat for you,” she lustfully cooed.
Her word caused you to slightly blush.
“Oh my~”
You then saw Voduisant walk up to the plinth that was next to you two. You and Zecora stopped your teasing of each and waited for him to start. As he cleared his throat, he commenced with his speech.
“My fellow zebras, were are gathered here to honor two great warriors that helped fend off the changelings and defeated the tyrant Shade,” he began. “He’s showed such self-less sacrifice to a race he did not owe it to. So it’s with great pleasure that I name you, Nito, as one of our own Shaman Warriors.”
The crowd erupted with cheers. You have never felt so honored yet so humbled in all the time you’ve been in Equestria.
“Please rise warrior Nito,” commanded Voduisant.
You then stood up. He placed a necklace with a decorative pendant around your neck.
“Speech young warrior,” implored the crowd.
At the behest of the crowd you walked to the podium.
“Well…uh…I don’t have much to say…” you spoke a little flustered. “I count it an honor and a privilege to stand before and be crown one of your tribe’s highest honors. I know I wouldn’t be worthy of this if it wasn't for the mare that changed my life...Zecora.”
With a warm smile, she rose up and gave you a firm kiss. This got an approving nod from her mother. Voduisant then cleared his throat.
“Yes, well in any case, let us enjoy the feast,” he declared.
At that moment, the music began to play and the food was serveserved. Throughout the revelry, you never left your love’s side. You enjoyed the festivities as Zecora leaned against.
“Are you enjoying yourself dear?” you asked.
She gave a brief nod.
“I don’t think I would’ve came back if not for you. I owe you a lot, my dear Nito,” she smiled.
“Just think, tomorrow we’ll be back in Ponyville. I’m sure our friends will have a million questions for us, especially Twilight,” you laughed.
“For that, you’ll have to wait at least a day or two. I do intend to be locked away with you,” she spoke with a sultry smile.
“Is that so~?”
“The fortitude of my bed we will test; but even a warrior needs some rest.”
“Good point dear,” you said, as you traced her spine again. “But I doubt we’ll get much rest.”
She grinned at your implication.
“It is truth that I hear. I take it you’re eager my dear?” she teased.
“Well, it’s hard not be with an enchanting mare such as you,” you confessed, as you gently caressed her ears.
“So easily excited you are, Nito. Must I resort to binding you?”
“I’m sorry, my dear. I’ll behave myself,” you said with a sheepish smile.
You then put your hands under the table.
“I’m glad to hear you intend to quit,” she whispered into your ear. “But here’s what you get.”
“What do you mean?” you whispered back.
With a mischievous grin, she then firmly wrapped her tail around your hands and pulled them close together.
“Zecora~”
She playfully stuck out her tongue. You both enjoyed a laugh as she released your hands. You leaned down to give her a tender kiss. When you broke the kiss you looked to the crowd and saw Rhani give you both a cheeky grin while the mother has a look of acceptance. You both couldn’t help but smile.
“I guess they’re happy for us,” you noted.
“I’m glad that they have accepted you. For there’s none I love more than my dearest Nito,” she confessed.
“And there’s nobody else I love more than you, my dear Zecora…”
As you two leaned against each other, Rhani motioned for you to join them.
“Shall we go my love?” you asked, as you offered your hand.
“But of course my precious one. Afterall, the night is still young,” she beamed.
You took her hoof and lead her down to the other. The rest of the feast was spent with the village enjoying in revelry. There was music and dancing and much fun to be had. Throughout the night, some of the mares fancied you and some even tried to court your favor but were quickly scared by Zecora’s threatening glare. The same was true of the stallions for Zecora, but ended with the same results with a glare from you. With the party concluded, everyone departed to their homes.
As you journeyed from the feast, you were accompanied by Zhara and Rhani. After a few moments you finally made it to your abode.
“Now that was some fun,” you said.
“I will admit that I have missed this place...but I still do much prefer my own space,” Zecora divulged.
“I know the feeling, but I’d love to come back to visit again.”
You then opened the door and Zecora stepped inside.
“Thanks for seeing us home. I hope you two will see us off tomorrow,” you spoke.
“You know it to be true, my Big Brother Nito,” said Rhani.
You slightly blushblushed at her calling you ‘big brother’. Zhara then bowed to you.
“For now my dear, you’ve earn all of my trust,” she spoke.
She then pulled down your collar so your eyes could meet. She then slightly narrowed her eyes.
“But break her heart and your body will be under the dust,” she warned.
“Y-Yes ma’am,” you gulped.
She then smiled as she released your collar. They both bid you a pleasant evening and left for their own home. You then head inside and let out a sigh.
“Your mom can be really scary at times,” you said.
This got a slight laugh for your mare.
“There is no more dangerous beast than a mother guarding her nest,” she justified.
“So shall we head to bed? I feel a bit tired from the party,” you admitted.
She responded with a nod as she headed for the bedroom. You then followed close behind and the two of you hopped into bed. Once settled in, you two then cuddle close together. Zecora then positioned herself so that her chest is atop of yours.
“Are you comfy dear?” you asked.
She nodded in reply, as she relaxed her body. You then let out a yawn.
“We have a long day tomorrow. Be sure to get some rest, my love.”
“Yes, my darling. Our journey home,” she said as she lightly nipped your neck. “Back to the forest where we’ll roam.”
“Indeed…”
She nuzzled you neck for a moment, but soon gave you a sultry smile.
“This opportunity I don’t dare to miss,” she cooed, as she nibbled on your neck. “I believe at the feast I made you a promise.”
“Are you sure, dear?” you moaned.
“I’m curious to how much this will please,” she said as she slowly moves down your frame. “Just try to warn me before you release.”

With a growl of annoyance, he then dove in for a headbutt. You braced yourself and took the impact without flinching. Before he could react, you delivered a powerful open palm strike to chest. The impact sent him careening through the other hull of the passenger car. As she rose to his hooves, he saw you were bouncing in place.
“Something wrong, Shade?”
“I don’t remember you being this strong,” he spoke with a surprise.
“What can I say, those zebra you called cattle are quite proficient at fighting. They taught me how to directly focus my aura into focused strikes. As you just felt,” you explained.
He then rose to his hooves.
“I guess I don’t have to hold back then,” he grinned, as he charged you.
As you took a defensive stance, you awaited your foe. Just as he lunged at you, with one fluid motion you grabbed his horn and hurled him through the air. He then landed a few feet away from you. As he got up, you could see the angry blaze in his eyes.
“That’s it! The kid gloves are off!” Shade barked.
As his horn the glowed with a lime green aura, you felt no sense of concern. He then fired a powerful aura blast at you.
“Nito, look out!” shouted Twilight.
With a smug grin, you block the attack with one hand which left Shade and the girls in awe.
“No way…” muttered Applejack.
“Since when did Nito get so cool?” pondered Rainbow.
“Nito…” spoke Twilight.
You then began to slowly walk toward shade.
“I’ll give one more chance to leave Shade,” you warned.
“Dream on, biped!”
As he took a step forward, you appeared in front of him. You then delivered a powerful kick to the jaw. He’s then sent flying toward the train. Just before reached the train, you appeared behind him and kicked him upward into the air. As he sailed into the sky, you jumped up to meet his ascent. “Well Ah’ll be a snowmare in the middle of July. When did Nito get this good?” spoke Applejack.
“I dunno. But he really putting that Shade guy in his place!” grinned Pinkie.
“What do you make of this, Twilight?” asked Rarity.

“Is this really the same guy I fought before?” you scoffed. “I can’t believe I had such a hard time with you?”
As Shade rose to his hooves, he began to darkly chuckle.
“I must’ve missed the joke, bug,” you said with an arched eyebrow.
“I finally found one…” he chuckled. “I finally...a one worth killing...”

As the flames began to die down, Shade tore the loosened layer of skin from his body. All his scars and bruises that he’d received earlier from the fight are made visible, detailed by what looks like glowing embers buried under his skin. He reached down and picked up the discarded layer of flesh and sears it with green flames. The mass bends, stretches and contorts into a small collection of fragile looking slabs of molted insect hide. Shade welds them onto his body, protecting his vital regions with the macabre armor. With his transformation now complete, you and the other were left in awe.
“What in the-” you uttered.
“What is he?” stated Rainbow Dash.
“Nito be careful,” warned Twilight.
Shade then flexed his limbs, fluttered his wings and then admired his new armor.

Before you could react, he delivered a headbutt that sent you skidding backward. As you stopped, a small trickle of blood cascaded down your brow. With little time to recovery, Shade launched himself toward you. On pure reflex, you uses his own momentum to launch him into a nearby tree. He recovered and charged you for another assault. You were prepared to counter, but his newfound speed caught you off guard. He deliver a swift hoof kick to your ribs, which caused you to fall to a knee.
“In case you hadn’t noticed...you’re not doing too well against me,” he taunted.
You then looked up to him with a bemused scowl, as you cradled your ribs.
“That all you got bug...”
“Let’s find out,” he smugly spoke.
In one swift motion, he delivered a strong headbutt that knocked you to the ground.
“Hmm...guess not,” he scorned.
“Nito!” they girls cried out.
Shade then proudly loomed over you.
“Might as well get comfortable biped. It doesn’t look like you can do much else,” he sneered.
Against his mocking words, you attempted to get to his feet. Shade immediately stomped on you left knee, which caused to fall back to the ground and held your knee in pain. Shade then placed his jagged hoof on the side of your knee and began to dig into it.
“AH!” you wailed.
“Stop please!” pleaded Twilight
He then turned to them with a malicious grin.
“Oh right...sorry...how rude of me...” he spoke, as he walked away from you. “He’s not the only one here...and that fight sure built up an appetite.”
“You…keep...away from...them!” you seethed.
“Are you asking me to put you down first, biped?” he asked in a condescending tone.
Though you’re in a great deal of pain, you desperately tried to get to your feet.
“If you...touch...one hair on their manes...” you growled.
“What? You’ll just sit there and watch? Not much else you can do at this point. Besides, I did promise to make you watch me end the life the zebra that you’re so fond of,” he stated, as he licked his lips.
You then were able to make it to your feet.
“Over my dead body!” you yelled, as you charged him again.
This time however, Shade made no effort to dodge your charge. With all of your might you struck him with another aura palm strike.
“I won’t let you lay a hoof on them!” you declared with gritted teeth.
To your horror, Shade had taken your strike with little effort. Your then enveloped by his dark green aura and held in place.
“You’re right. I won’t lay a hoof on them,” he mocked, before he lifted you up and slammed you hard into the ground. “I don’t have to touch them to drain them.”
The force of the impact caused you to cough up a bit of blood. This made Rainbow to thrash about.
“Just wait ‘til I get out this thing!” she fumed.
To this, Shade merely rolled his eyes.
“Oh I’m truly petrified my prismatic mare. No if you’ll excuse,” he said.
He then approached your beloved mare.
“No...Zecora! Get…away…from…her…!” you grunted, as you tried to break free of his magical grasp.
After a brief chuckle, Shade noticed that you started to slowly get to your feet. As a result, he motioned a group of changelings to hold you down.
“You think you have a say in this, biped?” he taunted, before giving you a sinister grin. “Ok...fine. You have a choice. Who gets drained first?”
“I won’t let you drain anyone,” you snarled.
Shade then knelt down to meet you at eye level.
“It’s not a matter of permission, Nito. I don’t need your approval,” he calmly spoke as he booped your nose. “I'm just giving you a choice of which one of them dies first?”
“I choose no one,” you scowled
“No one? No...one...,” he pondered, as he pretended to go in deep thought. “OH ! I get it! You’re being literal. No. One. It makes sense.”
He then gave to an ominous smirk.
“Then I’ll just kill all…of…them.”
You then felt you blood run cold as his word ran in your ears.
“What? No!” you said, still struggling to break free.
He then turn his attention back to the girls. He then began to scan the girls.

He pointed to his prey, as walked over to your cherished friend Twilight.

Not waiting for a response, he then touched her horn with his. He then used it as a catalyst and began to slowly and painfully drain all of them. As you saw him you use your friend as a medium for his draining spell, Twilight’s face contorted to one of immense pain.
“GAH!” she cried out.
“Twilight! Stop...stop it now!” you demanded.
“You could have prevented this Nito. You could have picked one of them to die,” Shade darkly spoke. “You could have just walked away when I took that village. Maybe then I wouldn’t have had to come here. So no matter how you look at it…it’s all your fault.”
The truth of his words made you feel a sharp pain in your chest. He wouldn’t have come to your home if you hadn’t saved Zecora’s. You watched helplessly as he agonizingly drain each of your friends.
“Nito...” mumbled Fluttershy.
“I don’t feel...so...good,” groaned Pinkie.
“If I were free...you’d be...toast...” grunted Rainbow.
You frantically struggle to break free to save your friend.
“Stopitstopitstopitstopit!” you yelled.
As you saw you’re friend suffer due Shade, a familiar power began to swell inside of you. Shade then began to laugh triumphantly.
“If only you had your little elixir…then you might’ve put up a decent challenge. Oh well~” he derided.
“You’re just a coward, soon to be battered!” berated Zecora.
His horn then illuminated and Zecora was relentlessly shocked by electrical magic. Your rage was pushed to the limit, you as your mare in pain.
“Zecora! Stop it!” you fumed.
“Why are you mad at me? She brought that on herself. Pawns should be seen, not heard,” quipped Shade.
It was then you felt the dam of your rage break. With the horde of changeling on your being, you managed to get to your feet.
“I...SAID...STOP! ” you screamed, as your aura erupted.
This got his attention as he quickly turned to face you. Still covered with drones, Shade felt a small tinge of excitement as he looked into dark violet eyes.
“Yes…” he grinned.
It was then your hair the flared upward and turned midnight blue.
“N-Nito...” Twilight spoke in awe.
You felt your muscles tighten as your skin tone quickly turned to dark tan.
“So...awesome!” said a jubilant Rainbow.
After a few seconds, you felt the power surge in your body. With a loud roar, you knocked off the drones with a powerful shockwave. Then area was then consumed with a blinding light. As the light faded, the girls looked in amazement at your transformed state. Your body gave off small flashes of electric discharge as your body is now engulfed in a dark blue aura. Shade couldn’t help but grin.
“Well now...look who grew a pair. Ready to step up for another round?” he asked.
Your response was a swift cross jab to his jaw, which sent him crashing through the train. Awestruck, the drones then turned to you with venomous glares.
“Stand…down!” barked Shade.
They all then looked to see Shade burst through the roof of the train. He then glared at you with a look of utter disdain.
“...He’s mine!”
You then turned your attention to your hated foe.
“I’m gonna enjoy breaking you!” you spoke with you words laced with malice.
“Ooohhhh...I’m shaking,” he responded with a sarcastic flare.
“You will be!”
You then teleported in front of him and delivered a strong punch to his abdomen. With a growl, Shade countered your strike with his own. You in turn countered with another strike. The two of you then continue to go back and forth with a flurry of high speed strikes. With each blow, a powerful gust of wind would emit for the two of you. The others watched in awe at the spectacle before them.
“Zecora...was it like this last time?” Twilight inquired a bit bewildered.
“This is a different rage, my dear Alicorn sage,” Zecora answered.
Back at the battle, Shade delivered a well-timed hit that caused you to skid backward. As you regained your composure, you smirked at your foes and spat out some blood you the side of you.
“That all you got,” you scoffed.
“It seems you’re stronger than last time,” Shade mentioned.
“Too bad for you, bug.”
Shade’s eyes narrowed at you for a moment, but soon glanced over to the girls.
“Let’s so just how strong…” he chuckled.
Before you could retort, he fired a devastating blast at the girls. Not missing a beat, you teleported in front of them and took the brunt of the attack. As you were engulfed by the attack, the impact caused and explosion. When the smoke settled, all that remained was a scorch mark in the spot where you were.
“Not even any ashes left...pathetic,” huffed Shade.
“Nito!” cried Fluttershy.
“You heartless monster!” spat Twilight.
“Flattery will get you nowhere princess,” he chuckled.
As she gritted her teeth, Twilight turned her head in disgust. When she did she notice that Zecora was looking off into the distance. She followed her line of sight to see she was looking at you standing atop the water tower.
‘Nito …’ she smiled.
Meanwhile, on the top of the water tower, you prepared to launch your attack. You then performed a series of arm movements then formed a diamond shape with your hands.
“SHADE! ” you called out.
His ears then perked up and he turned to face you.
“Oh my giddy aunt,” groaned Shade.
He then took aim and prepared to fire another aura blast at you. Just before he was about to fire, you launched a power aura sphere at him. He then countered with an aura blast of his own. As the two attacks clashed, they both reached a stalemate. At a few seconds, you ball began to be pushed back subtly. You noticed this, and then fired a shockwave that added twice the force behind your attack. At that moment your sphere plowed through his beam and heads toward him. With no other defense, Shade quickly formed a barrier around myself. As the orb impacted the barrier, Shade was knocked backward.
As he is flying backward, you appeared behind him. You then formed an aura sword to deliver a series of slashes to his back. You then appear in front of him and with one hand delivered a crushing blast that sent him barreling into the train station. After a few seconds, the station exploded as he emerged from within. As he exited the rubble, Shade glared at you with great disdain.
“Ok...now I’m mad!” he bellowed.
“And we’re just getting started,” you smugly grinned
You then saw him magical grab a heavy wooden beam and steadily charge you. You quickly formed another aura sword and met his charge. When he swung his beam, you easily sliced through it with you blade. With the momentary opening you delivered a hard kick to his chest. As you did this, Shade magically grabbed a piece of the cleaved wood and struck you on the side of your head.
You impact caused you to recoil backward, as you tried to recover from the hit.
“Why you!” you said with gritted teeth.
“There’s no one to blame but yourself! You could’ve easily dodged it!” Shade pointed out.
He then chucked the piece of the beam at you. On instinct, you block the piece with your foot and planted in the ground. You then came up with an idea and used it to leap in the air. As you sailed into the air, you called out to Twilight.
“Twilight! You and the other ponies cover your eyes.”
“What? Why?” she asked.
“Trust me. I have a plan,” you assured.
As you gave her this instruction, Shade delivered a surprise uppercut that sent you flying faster into the air.
“What did I just say about dodging?” Shade quipped.
With a grin, you stopped your momentum and hovered in midair. You the wiped you mouth.
“You hit like a foal…” you taunted.
You then saw him hastily fly toward to you in a blind rage.
‘So predictable… ’ you thought.
You look to see that every one of the Ponyville ponies had their eyes covered. You then placed your hands in front of your face and then spread your fingers.
“Solar Flare!” you declared.
At that moment the whole area was consumed by a blinding light. This caused both Shade and the changelings you recoil in pain.
“BLOOD AND ASHES !!!” Shade wailed.
In a fit of rage, he began to wildly fire his Phantom Shot in midair. Some ponies and changelings were hit in the process. You then rushed to him and delivered a powerful kick that sent him crashing into the ground. As you landed a few feet in front of him, thought his vision was still impaired but look toward you with great hatred.
“Wow, Shade. It seems your rage blinded you,” you chuckled.
“You wretched biped! You will make you suffer for this!” he threatened.
As he got to his hooves, you appeared before him and delivered a barrage of high-powered punches. When you delivered the last one, Shade was sent sliding backward. He then shook his head to regain his composure. Within a few seconds, he was able to regain his vision.
“You seem upset, Shadey,” you teased.
“Anger is Power!” he stated, as charged and hit you square in the chest.
As you skid back, Shade noticed the grin on your face.
“Not in all cases. You’re living proof of that,” you mocked. “What would your queen think if she knew you lost to a ‘biped’ twice?”
He then gritted his teeth in anger.
“Oh...you think you’re being cute?” he growled.
“Bug please, I’m adorable.”
With his eyes of burning rage, Shade fired a focused Phantom Shot at you. On reflex, you narrowly dodged it.
“Ooh, consider that nerve touched,” you jeered.
In a fit of rage, he then took aim at you beloved mare.
“Ever the coward I see,” you spoke bemused.
He then fired a strong blast at Zecora. You easily moved a few feet in front of her and took the hit. As a result the impact caused you to fall to a knee. Just as you were about to rise to your feet, Shade appeared before you and aimed his horn at your head. Before he could fires his attack, you rolled out of the way and fired a volley of aura beams at him.
He was able to dodge some, but was soon hit a cluster of them. He then ran toward you and lunged himself. You quickly grabbed him and in a fluid motion rolled him over you and tossed him to the ground.
“Give it up shade! You know you can’t-” you started, but was cut off by a kick to the throat.
You then fell to the ground and clasped your throat. As you were coughing, Shade prepared to deliver another strike. Before it could land, you clutched his hoof.
“Enough!” you spoke.
You delivered another aura palm strike to his chest that sent him flying backward. After he rolled to a stop, he gingerly got to his hooves.
“So much for the changeling empire. You can’t even handle one human,” you scoffed.
He then cast a spell that shrouded himself in a fiery aura. Once he was engulfed in the flames he wildly charges you. You then a defensive stance and awaited his approach. As he drew closer to you, the fiery aura was then channeled into his horn. Before you could react, he appeared before you at point-blank range.
‘Oh crap… ’ you gulped.
At that moment, Shade blasted you with powerful fire shot. Then impact sent you flying through the air. As you landed hard on the ground your body remained motionless. With an air of victory, Shade slowly walked over to you.
“Wherefore now, heroism?” he mocked.
You didn’t respond, as it appeared the impact had knocked you unconscious. As they witnessed this, the ponies began to fear the worst.
“Nito...” Twilight spoke in a hushed tone.
When Shade finally reached you, he prepared to slowly and painfully drain you.
“Leave him alone!” shouted Rainbow Dash.
He then gave her a dark grin.
“I will…when I’m finished,” he said with a sinister chuckle.
As he turned to begin his draining session, he was met with a powerful kick to his jaw. As he recoiled back, he popped his jaw back into place.
“Playing possum I see,” leered Shade.
“Best way to catch ya off guard,” you grinned.
“So you want some more huh?”
“I’m just getting started,” you answered, as your aura began to fluctuate stronger.
“So, you gonna actually gonna fight seriously this time?”
You then disappeared in a flash. As he looked around to find you, he was kick from behind and sent careening into another train car.
“You tell me,” you spoke.
This time, you noticed that he was a bit slower getting to his hooves. Not letting get a moments rest, you appeared before him.
“Gatling Fist!” you declared.
In a blinding assault, you delivered a barrage of aura punches to various places on his body. With each punch, you could see his armor slowly begin to crack. With one final punch, Shade then fell to the ground hard. You then grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.
“We’re not done yet, bug,” you spoke.
As you did, Shade struck you with a vicious headbutt. As the blood trickled down your brow, you countered with a devastating fist to his stomach which broke through his armor. This caused Shade to cough up a bit of blood.
“Now, there’s only one way to make sure you’ll never threaten my home ever again,” you firmly spoke.
With your free hand, you formed an aura ball.
“You gonna do it or are you just gonna put me in a body cast?” taunted Shade.
You gave him a bemused glare.
“I was thinking more like a casket.”
Once you’ve gathered enough power, you prepared to fire your attack. Shade then looked you dead in your eye without a hinge of fear.
“Yeah...do it... It’s what I’d do in your position,” he calmly pleaded.
Just as you were about to fire, Twilight call out to you.
“Nito stop! He’s not worth it!” she cried.
Her words caused to momentarily stop.
“Your intentions may be true, but the abyss watches you,” warned Zecora.
You then look to her out of the corner of your eye.
“But he’ll just come back and try to hurt you guys,” you explained.
“There will always be conflict and we will always meet it. But the day we cross that thin lines is the day where evil wins,” she spoke.
You knew her words spoke truth, but part of you didn’t want to risk him coming back. Shade could see your internal struggle, and began to chide you into action.
“I wonder...who will I kill first when I come back?” he began. “You Nito? Your mate? Or...perhaps...yes...” he began, as he sniffed the air. “Ah…that soft milky scent...I’ll just start with the foals of this town.”
Your eyes the glowed with a white fury. You then moved the sphere mere inches away from his muzzle.
“But who first? The one with the red bow? The one with the drone like eyes? Or perhaps the crippled pegasus?” he continued.
You knew well the fillies he was referring to, and that made your blood boil even more than it already was. You then clenched his throat tighter as you spoke in a loud, booming voice.
“I WILL END YOU! ” you bellowed.
Before he could retort, you absorbed the aura sphere into your hand and delivered a powerful aura fist to his chest. The impact sent him crashing through three buildings. As he flew through the last building you appeared in front of him. You then delivered a roundhouse kick that sent back in the other direction. As he skidded in front of the girls, the sky then grew dark. When they looked to you they saw you’d formed an even larger aura ball.
“That’s…it...” Shade coughed, as he rolled onto his back.
You then menacingly stalked your prey, as you purposely took your time to reach him. You noticed him trying to get to a vertical base. You expelled a shockwave that knocked him back onto the ground. But when you saw him try again, you cast a spell that made his body become denser, which made it difficult for him to move. When you finally reached him, you stomped down on his back with great force. As he lay embedded in the ground, you kicked onto his back and placed your foot on his chest.
“YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY! ” you yelled.
With no sign of fear, Shade gave you a condescending smile.
“I can…see it…right now…biped…” he retorted.
“Not after this…” you said with a sinister smirk.
Before he could rebut, you stomped on his chest with a bit more force. With the impact, you felt a rib crack. This cause him you cry out in pain.
“I...still...see...the sun...” he whispered.
At that moment, the aura tendrils that were around the girls vanished. With her energy no longer being drained, Twilight fired off a spell that freed her and the other.
“Ok girls, you handle the changelings. Zecora and I will assist Nito,” she spoke.
With a nod, the others head off to free the other ponies while she and Zecora rushed to stop you. As you were about to end it, Zecora wrapped her hooves around you.
“My dearest Nito, please do not go down this road,” she pleaded. “Your foe is beaten and no longer a threat. Please stop before you do something you’ll regret.”
Shade then looked at you with a blood grin.
“You and I....both know...only one thing will stop me Nito,” he spoke.
“Dearest you simply cannot win without being better than him,” implored Zecora.
With her word spoken, you continue your internal struggle to not kill him.
“And if you don’t...then the blood of ponies...will be on your...wait...what do you have?” he spoke with a tilted head.
“The most noble steel is that of a shield,” said Zecora.
“But...what if he hurts you, my love. I’d never forgive myself,” you responded.
At that moment, you felt her grip tighten around your waist.
"If under Shade you sink below...you would no longer be Nito,” she replied with a somber tone.
“Seriously...those things at the end of your limbs...that are those?” asked Shade in bewilderment.
You stomped on him again.
“Silence!” you barked.
“Do it, biped! End me now! DO IT! ” he demanded.
“Enough dearest...no more conquest,” she cried.
You then turned your head to her. Before you could speak, you saw the desperate plea in her eyes. It was then your rage began to fade.
“Zecora…”
With a gentle smile, she rest her head on your back.
“Nito…” she sighed.
You then turned your attention back to Shade. When you saw the look in his eyes, you knew Zecora was right. He was beaten, and he knew it. There was nothing he could do but make empty threats. At the moment you came to yourself and let out a deep sigh. You then dispelled the large sphere.
“As usual my love. You’re right he not worth it,” you chuckled.
You took your foot off his chest and then kick him over to his drones.
“Leave and never come back!” you stated.
“You...You’ll regret this...” replied Shade.
“I doubt it...bug,” you smugly grinned.
Shade then used one of the drones to lean on.
“Now be gone!” you declared, as you turned to walk away with Zecora.
As you walked, you soon heard the rhythmic buzzing coming from behind. You then saw the other drones leave their fight with your friend and head toward Shade. You quickly turned around to see the whole swarm facing you.
‘What the- ’ you thought.
You then saw they began to charge their horns.
‘No… ’
“Destroy...him...” seethed Shade.
“Shade…don’t do this!” you said
“Since you can’t kill me...let’s see if I can kill you,” he responded, as he spat up a bit of blood.
“Zecora get back!”
“Burn...him…to...ashes!” ordered Shade.
The drones then prepare to fire a collective blast at you. Within little room for error, you pick up Zecora and run to Twilight. You then deposit her at Twilight’s side and then turn your attention back to swarm.
“Twilight, I need you to get all the ponies behind me and form a barrier around them,” you instructed.
“Huh, what are you plan-” she queried before you interrupted.
“Hurry!” you spoke never taking your eyes off of the swarm.
As she looked at you she could sense you determination to protect everyone. She was in awe of how much you’ve grown
‘Nito…when did you become so strong… ’ she smiled.
She then casted the multi-teleportation spell that transported all the ponies behind you and formed a barrier between you and them.
“Thanks Twi,” you said.
“Admirable...but a mistake biped... If all of you contributed you might’ve had a chance...” he jeered.
“They won't be needed,” you spoke with a confident grin.
Just like before, you positioned your hands so that the base of your palms are touching. You then motion them to your side.
“Ka…me…ha…me…” you started.
At that moment, you began to drawn upon your power and a large light blue aura ball began to form in your hands.
“What is he doing?” asked Rainbow.
“I’ve seen him use this technique once before. Soon our foes will be no more,” Zecora mentioned.
“Is that so?” noted Twilight.
As you continued to gather your aura, the drones were prepped to fire.
“This...will...end...you!” barked Shade.
“Not if...I...end...you first...” you countered.
“FIRE! ” he shouted.
At that moment, the collective swarm fired a barrage of aura blast that combined into one beam. With one motion you thrusted your hands forward.
“...HA! ”
You fired then a large aura beam at the approaching attack. As the two beams collided the resulting impact expelled a massive shockwave. Though it appeared to be a stalemate, your beam began to be slowly push theirs back. Shade noticed and fired another aura beam to add to the collective blast. The added force began to slowly push yours back.
“Hang in there Nito!” shouted Twilight.
As you tried to push back the beam, you felt yourself slowly start to skid backward. You then dug you feet into the ground to stop your backward movement.
“Give it up…biped. You’re up against an entire battalion of changelings. There’s no way you can win!” derided Shade.
You were about the retort, but you soon noticed their beam was inching closer to you.
‘Is this the limit of my strength? Can I not fight them off? ’ you questioned.
Just as you started to doubt yourself, you heard the ponies behind you cheer for you. You then turned your head to them, to see each of them with encouraging smiles.
“You got this!” said Pinkie
“Come on, Nito! Don’t give up!” cheered Rainbow.
“We believe in you, darling,” stated Rarity.
“Show those bugs what happens when you mess with Ponyville,” grinned Applejack.
“Though their numbers are greater than you, defeating your power is something they cannot do,” sweetly spoke Zecora.
And the encouragement kept coming from each of the residents of Ponyville. As you heard them, you found a newfound resolve.
‘That’s right! I’m not alone. I have everyone here with me. So, I can’t lose! ’
You then felt a new rush of power surge within your core. You then added a bit more force to your blast, which began to push the changelings’ attack.
“NO…” groaned Shade.
As the beam continued to be pushed back, the changelings pushed themselves to their limits. A growl of frustration left Shade’s lips as he and his minions were unable to stop your beams advance.
“It’s impossible! You can’t lose to a mere biped!” he shouted.
Then with one final push, you then unleashed your blast at full power. Your beam immediately overpowered the blast and rushed toward them. Shade formed a barrier around them, but it was instantly shattered when your attack impact. In a flash, him and his battalion were engulfed by your aura. The attack then fired into the air and the changelings were sent flying through the sky until the fade in the distance like a stars. With the threat now vanquish, the townsponies erupted in cheer.
You let out a deep sigh, glad that the fight is finally over. You turned to your friends and your mare who were on their way over to you. Zecora was the first to reach you, and after a brief inspection she wrapped you in a tight embrace.
“Though your feat today was truly, I’m just glad that you’re okay,” she said with a tearful smile.
“I’m glad too,” you smiled back.
Rainbow then flew around in a rainbow blur before she landed in front of you.
“Nito... That was...AWESOME! ” she exclaimed.
“Those brutes will definitely think twice before coming back,” noted Rarity.
“I bet that will,” you laughed.
“Are you okay?” asked Fluttershy.
“Yeah…somehow,” you sheepishly grinned.
At that moment you reverted to your normal state. Twilight then looked at you with a mixed of confusion and intrigue.
“But I wonder, how were you able to transform without using the potion?” she queried.
“I...don't know...” you responded.
“Maybe the effects of the potion left an imprint on his natural aura; allowing him to tap into his body’s magical reserves when under extreme stress. The result was a surge of adrenaline that was enough to ‘trick’ his body into tapping into his energy without the potion. Kinda like how unicorns use their horns,” explained Pinkie.
You all then turned to her with astonished gazes.
“Uh…” you uttered.
“Pinkie…how’d you come up with that?” asked Twilight.
“Just an educated guess,” you squeed.
“Pinkie, you are most wise for a mare your age. Tell me, are you secretly a sage,” pried Zecora.
“Hmm…nah…” she grinned.
“In any case that was simply amazing, dear,” spoke Rarity.
“Aw shucks girls. You’re making me-” you started, but then you were hit with a wave of fatigue.
As a result you started to wobble a bit. Zecora used body to catch you.
“Dearest, are you well?” she asked.
“I feel a bit drained,” you admitted.
“Come on, Zecora. Let’s get back to the palace,” suggested Twilight.
With a nod, you all head back to the palace where you can recover from your battle.
Life with the Sexy Shaman
The weeks to follow, Twilight performed numerous test to unlock the secrets of your transformation. It was then discovered that Pinkie was right. The elixir had left an imprint on your natural aura. Upon this discovery, Zecora suggested that you continue your daily training to help you better control your newfound power.
As time went on, your training only became more intense as you struggled to gain full control of your power and transformation. However, throughout these last few months, your relationship with Zecora has only grew stronger. Your intimacy both in and out of the bedroom grew by leaps and bounds. It was during this time that you came to an important decision in regards to your relationship. You wanted to ask her for her hoof in marriage.
So for the last few weeks, you’ve been working odd jobs on the side to earn some extra bits. It didn’t take long for you to finally earn enough to get the engagement band for your mare. With the key component in your possession, you were finally ready to set your plan into motion.
The following day, after another long training session, the two of you decide to call it a day.
“Whew, we really worked up a sweat today,” you stated, as you wiped your brow.
“Every bruise and ache are rewarding sores. They’re proof of a strengthened resolve and core,” she replied.
“You got a point there, dear. Thanks to you and Twilight’s efforts, I'm able to control of this new power.”
“I am pleased to hear you are still growing in power, but remember that sometimes in restraint is valor.”
“I will remember, Sifu.”
As you walked back to Ponyville, you decided it initiate your plan.
“Say...are you busy later?” you asked.
She paused for a moment and tapped her chin.
“I have nothing yet planned. Why? Do you have something in mind?” she answered.
“Well...yeah... I wanted to take you out tonight. A way to celebrate our one year anniversary. Today is the day that we first met.”
“To celebrate our first encounter? A wise way to spend of our hours,” she smiled.
“Plus, I’d like to finish the date that was interrupted on that rose hill,” you joked.
“I’d like that very much indeed. Last time was very joyous for me,” she stated.
“Good to hear, my dear. I even have a special surprise in store for you.”
“You had my curiosity; now you have my attention. I wonder what this surprise is that you’ve mentioned?” she queried.
“Sorry dear, you’ll have to wait until tonight,” you teased.
“You tease…” she pouted, but gave you a nuzzle.
“I think you’ll love it dear.”
“I look forward to it.”
You then smiled and gave her a small peck on the cheek.
“See you tonight,” you winked.
With a nod, she returned the kiss and headed to home to get ready.
Later that night, you stood at the top of the hill and waited for your mare to arrive. You’d left s note for her to meet you at the hill at 8 pm, and you knew she’d be there soon. You were dressed in a tailored black suit with white shirt and red bowtie (thanks to Rarity), gold cufflinks and black dress shoes. To your delight you saw your heavenly shaman approach. Her jewelry seemed to have had different polish to them tonight. When she reached the top, she saw a beautifully laid out picnic (plates and glasses filled with juice, lanterns to illuminate the field, etc.)*
“I see you’ve thought this out. I’ve always liked this spot,” Zecora noted.
“I know my dear,” you said, as you offered your hand. “Shall we?”
With a smiling nod, she accepted your gesture and gave you her hoof. You then lead her to the blanket. As you escorted your mare to her place, she leaned into your body. You sat her down and serve her food (you homemade stew, lily sandwiches and strawberries).
“Bon appetite...” you said.
She smiled warmly began to eat. You then sat down across from her and began to eat as well.
“How is your meal dear?”
“This meal is very pleasing to me. Almost as much as your company,” she winked.
At that moment, you decided it was time to start.
“Zecora...there’s something I need to tell you...” you began.
She then looked up to you. As your eyes met, you felt yourself start to get a little flustered. You shook your head to regain your resolve.

Before you could respond, Twilight was bumped out of the way by Pinkie Pie.

Shining Armor was right, the moment you saw her your nerves faded away and you were rendered speechless.

You rolled your eyes in response from hearing that name.
“Twilight, you know I hate that nickname,” you replied.
“But it suits you perfectly,” she chimed.
“Ugh…”
“Nito…”
“Yeah…”
When you turned to face her, she was hovering in the air at eye level. She booped you on your nose.
“You’re cute when you pout like that.”
“Whatever,” you turned away in a huff.
“Aw come on, don’t be like that~.”
Though you folded your arms in mock anger, you heard a fit of giggles coming from her. You too joined in the laughter. Your playful banter was just one of the few ways the two of you got along. As you looked up at the night sky, your mind began to wander to how you came to be in Equestria.
It had been three months since that fateful day you brought to Equestria from Earth. Princess Celestia had personally visited you and offered you a chance to live amongst her people. Being a young researcher, you couldn’t pass up the opportunity, so you eagerly agreed.
It turned out that there were a few others that Princess Celestia had chosen to bring as well. You considered it an honor to be one of the few humans she had chosen. She offered a choice to stay in Canterlot with her or venture out to see Equestria. With your thirst for knowledge of the unknown, you decided to venture off.
You found yourself in the quaint town of Ponyville. After an introduction by Celestia herself, the ponies welcomed you with open hooves. There you met her prized pupil, Twilight Sparkle. The two of you became very close friends, due to your shared interest in research and study. She even offered her home to you. There you two would conduct numerous experiments that would benefit both humans and ponies.
As the weeks passed, your research had provided valuable results. A few days ago you came across a book of potions. Inside its pages was a formula for a medicine that could enhance the abilities of anypony who drank it. Curious about its effects on humans, the two of you made it your goal to test out the potion. After two days, you were able to gather all but one of the needed ingredients. A rare flower said to bloom once every six months, the Moonlight Blossom. According to Twilight’s intel, the flower was set to bloom tonight.
So there you were two friends on your way to the mysterious Everfree Forest.
“So where is this orchard, Twilight?”? you asked.
She pulled out the map from her saddlebag with her magic. She quickly glanced over it.
“Hmm…it looks like it’ll be in the northern part of the forest,” she replied.
“Cool, so do you think we’ll have any trouble getting there?”
“As long as we stay on the path I mapped out, we should be fine,” she assured.
“Okay, then let’s get going.”
You run off toward the edge of the forest.
“Nito, wait for me!” shouted Twilight, as she chased after you.
When you two arrived, an eerie chill crept up your spine.
“Are you sure we have to go in there?” you asked nervously.
“Yes, we do. Don’t tell me your scared Nito?” inquired Twilight with a teasing grin.
“Who? Me? No way!” you lied. “I was just wondering is all?”
“Sure you were, Nito. Well, in any case just stick close to me, and you’ll be fine.”
“Can do, Twilight.”
With an audible gulp, you and Twilight venture the eerie forest. As you were walking through the woods, various sounds of wildlife sent chills down your spine. Though your nerves were on edge, Twilight seemed eerily calm.
“So, Twilight you seem quite comfortable with these surroundings,” you said, with a little shaky voice.
To this Twilight merely giggled.
“This isn’t my first time here, Nito. I know my way around, and thanks to Zecora I know which paths to travel and which ones to avoid,” she stated.
You’ve heard her talk about this Zecora mare before, but you’ve never had the pleasure to actually meet her.
“I wish I could meet her. This Zecora sounds intriguing,” you said.
“Oh, what makes you say that?”
“Well for one, the fact that she lives in this creepy place. That alone is fascinating.”
Twilight giggled at how captivated you sounded when you talked about a mare you’ve never even seen.
“I’m sure Zecora would love to hear you say that.”
As you two continued through the forest, you came across an old rope bridge. When you looked over the edge, you saw from the trees below that you were a considerable distance from the ground.
“The orchard should be just past this rope bridge,” said Twilight.
“Umm, are you sure that bridge is safe?” you asked.
“Oh don’t be such a scaredy-cat,” she teased. “It should be sturdy enough to hold your weight.”
She walked onto the bridge to show its sturdiness.
“See…”
“If you say so,” you gulped.
You gingerly placed a foot on one of the first panels. When it didn’t break, you decided to walk onto the bridge. As you made it about halfway across you heard a faint creaking.
“Say Twilight, did you hear that?” you asked.
“Yeah, maybe we should…”
At that moment, the panels below you snapped, and you rapidly descended to the depths below.
‘Crap… ’
“NITO! ” she cried.
She tried to fly down to rescue you, but you were falling too fast for her to catch up.
“Twilight…” you called, trying to reach out to her.
The last image you saw of Twilight was her frightened expression as you fell through the trees.
With a gentle wind blowing through the leaves, you slowly opened your eyes. You looked up to see that you’re surrounded by trees.
“Ugh…what happened?” you groaned.
As you sat up, you felt a sharp pain in your side.
“Ah…my ribs…”
You looked around, but couldn’t tell where you were.
“Twilight! Twilight are you out there!” you shouted, but immediately winced in pain.
There was no answer, which started to make you nervous. You knew that she’d be frantically searching for you, so you reasoned to stay put ‘til she came for you. As you crawled over to a tree, you laid your head against the bark.
“Well, at least I’m safe for now,” you sighed.
As if fate herself was listening to you, you heard a series of low growls come from within the forest. You felt your entire body freeze up and you slowly turned left.
At that moment, you saw a series of glowing green eyes glare at you. Using the tree, you slowly rose to your feet as you saw the figures emerge from the shadows. You saw a pack of wooden like wolves with vines wrapped around their limbs and leaves for ears.
‘Great…timberwolves… ’ you grumbled.
You noticed that one of them took a step towards you. Being cautious not to make any sudden moves, you gingerly took a step backward. The one you assumed is the pack leader, let out a loud howl and the others started to advance as well.
Not wanting to be dinner, you then took off running. You felt the earlier pain fade as your adrenaline started to pump. You began to jump over roots and dodge branches to the best of your ability. As you kept up your pace, you heard the sound of rapid footfalls coming closer from behind you.
‘It's at times like these I could reeeeally use Twilight’s help. Or maybe Fluttershy would be better… ’
While you continued your inner monologue, you noticed that you ran into a dead end. Before you were a massive stone wall with no other means of escape. Typically, you be able to scale it, but with your current injury, you weren’t going anywhere.
‘Crap…I’m cornered… ’ you thought.
As you turned around, the timberwolves had caught up with you. With your back to the wall, they slowly crept toward you. You looked around to see if you could find anything to use as a weapon. You noticed a nearby fallen branch and quickly grabbed it.
“Stay back beasts! I’m warning you!”
They seemed to ignore your threat, formed a semi-circle to prevent your escape.
‘This is really bad. I don’t see how I’m getting out of this one… ’
Just as they were about to pounce you, a cloaked pony leaped from atop the stone wall and landed in front of you. Base on the size of the cloaked figure you could tell that it was a mare. Whoever she was, she held a torch with her tail. She waved the torch to fend off the timberwolves.
“What?! Who are–”
“Of your questions I am aware, but for now you are in danger!” she spoke.
“Right…”
You quickly made your way behind the mare.
“So what’s the plan?”
“Against several foes of this size, I suggest we improvise.”
The cloaked mare then deliberately sets fire to a fallen brush between them and the pack.
“A quick meal you desire; but are we worth the fire?”
With angered glares, the timberwolves then slowly started to back away from us.
The cloaked mare stood vigilant for fear they would become bold and jump over the flames (which seemed to be oddly under control). After a few seconds, the leader let out an angered howl and they all turned and left. You breathed a sigh of relief.
“Whew that was a close one!” chuckled.
The mare quickly snuffed out the flames.
“To thank me is not required. You were in danger, and I had a fire,” the mare smiled.
“Yeah you got a point there,” you said, as you tapped your chin.
“But one thing that puzzles me true,” she stated as she looked you over. “What in Equestria are you?”
“I’m a human,” you answer.
“You’re a human you say, that’s most interesting. Quite odd, you have no fur, horn, or even a single wing.”
“Why would I?”
“Well, these are the common things of this land’s creatures. However, it’s quite interesting...that you do not have these features,” she spoke, her head tilted with curiosity.
“Well, I-”
You fell to the ground in pain. While on the ground, you quickly grabbed your ribs. The cloaked mare rushed over to you with concern.
“You have been injured from what I can see. Come let me get you to safety,” she spoke.
“Okay...lead the way...” you groaned.
The mare carefully helped you to your feet and guided you along a trail.
As the two of you were walking, you noticed that the path seemed not to have been touched by a lot of hooves.
“You sure seem to know your way around here...” you mentioned.
“To many, the forest can be foreboding. But to me it’s home and quite welcoming,” she responded.
After a few moments, we made it to an odd-looking tree. On the branches were various vials that hung from them. There was also a rather large mask that stood a few feet from the door, and a smaller one that laid atop of it.
“This is your home? Wow, this stuff looks interesting.”
“Why thank you. It is quite simple and quaint home of mine,” she smiled. “It’s where I spend most of my time.”
As she pushed the door open, she ushered you inside. Once inside, you looked around and saw all of the unusual décors in her home.
“Hmm...seems cozy,” you spoke.
The mare chuckled as she removed her cloak to reveal a...zebra with light and dark gray coat and a black and white mohawk-style mane. Her sharp cyan eyes gave her a mysterious charm. She wore a brilliant amber earring and golden bands on her neck and left leg.
You couldn’t help but think of how alluring and exotic she looked compared to the other ponies you’ve seen. It was then she guided you over to her fireplace. With a quick motion, she struck her hooves together to start a fire.
“Now, you need to rest easy. And your wounds can you show me please.”
Though you felt slightly embarrassed, you did as you were instructed and lifted your shirt to show her. You saw in a nearby mirror the various scratches on your body and bruises on your rib cage. The mare began to inspect your injuries. She softly touched your ribs, probably to see if any were broken. Though her touch was gentle, it still caused you to wince when they made contact.
After a thorough inspection, she grabbed some various herb from her shelf and placed them in a bowl. As she was grinding them, she mixed in some strong smelling sap. Once done, she applied her mixture to your bruised ribs. Upon initial contact, you slightly jumped.
“Ooh, that’s cold!” you gasped.
This got a soft smile for her. You had to admit, she had a subtle charm about her. She then made a separate mixture to apply to your scratches. Once she finished wrapping your ribs and bandaging your scrapes, she put away her supplies.
“Thanks again, ma’am,” you stated.
She answered with a nod.
“I must ask why were you running. Exactly what in Luna’s name were you doing?”
“Well, my friend and I were on our way to get a rare plant that blooms around here. While on our way to it I kinda got separated from her.”
“It’s dangerous to lose one’s way, you are most fortunate this day,” the mare spoke.
“Yeah, it’s a lucky thing you came by when you did. Otherwise, I would’ve been toast.”
“The forest offers gifts to some… But for you, what caused you to run?”
“Well I got separated from my friend, Twilight Sparkle, I ran into those timberwolves. Needless to say, they were looking at me like I was a full course meal. So naturally, I ran for my life.”
“No easy feat to outrun a pack,” she praised. “Rest now, and I will help you get back.”
“Thank you, Ms…uh…”
“My name is Zecora, a shaman of the flora.”
‘Oh…so this is Zecora… Twilight didn’t do her justice. ’
You offered your hand to her.
“Pleased to meet you, Zecora. My name is…” you said as you introduced yourself. “But everypony calls me Nito.”
She accepted your gesture and shook her hoof in your hand.
“And now we are properly met, you need to lie back and rest your head.”
“Yes, ma’am. After falling from the bridge and running from those timberwolves, I’m pretty beat.”
“A few scratches and bruised ribs have left you sore, but nothing life threatening I can assure.”
“That’s good to hear,” you spoke with relief. “I just hope Twilight’s okay?”
You then saw her ears perk up and slightly twitch.
“You have quite little to fear, I’m sure she’ll find you here,” Zecora chuckled.
“Really? But how do you-”
It was then we heard a frantic knock at the door.
“Though it’s quite polite of you to knock. But you are not hindered by the lock,” spoke Zecora.
At that moment, Twilight frantically busted through the door.
“Zecora I need your help! I lost my friend, and he's somewhere in the Everfree Forest. He might be hurt or even worse!” she cried.
You saw her rapidly trot in place and look around the room in a panic. You chuckle at the fact of how worried she was for you. Zecora made her way over to the frantic mare, and place a hoof on her shoulder.
“Your friend has already come, and thus I say ‘you’re welcome’.”
“What?” she asked.
Zecora pointed toward you, to which you merely waved.
“Hey, Twilig–”
What happened next was a blur. All you know is that you were tackled to the ground by a purple flash. You then looked up to see that Twilight’s tear-stained face.
“Nito! I was so worried about you,” she spoke as she wrapped you in a lung-crushing hug.
You tried to respond, but the force of the hug rendered you unable to speak. She slightly loosened her initial grip, but still, maintain a firm lock on you.
‘If my ribs weren’t broke…they will be… ’ you grunted.
She looked at you with concern.
“Is there anything broken?” she inquired.
“No…but my ribs are about to be!” you wheezed.
She realized the strength of her hug and quickly released you.
“Oh…sorry…” she smiled sheepishly.
You sat up to gather some much-needed air.
“Well, what happened after you fell down from the bridge?”
“Well, after I woke up I ran into some timberwolves…”
“Timberwolves!” Twilight yelped.
“Yeah, they chased me into a corner. But luckily Ms. Zecora had shown up to save me.”
Zecora smiled and then spoke up.
“Rest and breathe Twilight, your friend is all right. A few deep wounds perhaps, but nothing that won't pass,” she said.
Twilight turned to you.
“You were hurt?!” she shouted.
“Yeah, but nothing too-”
You felt her start to scan your body magically.
“Twilight what’re you-”
“Hold still!” she ordered.
You immediately froze up. You looked to see Zecora was lightly chuckling at the scene before her.
“Ugh…you’re really embarrassing me, Twilight. Geez, you’re like an overprotective mom or something,” you groaned.
She ignored your words and continued with her scan. After a few moments, her analysis was completed.
“You seem to be okay enough to walk home. Once we get there, I’ll have Spike help me mix up a healing potion.”
This caused Zecora to let out a soft laugh.
“These wounds may not deter a stallion princess, but a pony he is not so he’ll need to rest.”
“Hmm, I suppose you’re right,” she agreed, then bowed to the shaman. “You have my deepest gratitude for saving him Zecora.”
“Unnecessary my dear, it is why I am here.”
Twilight looked to you disappointed.
“It’s just sad we weren’t able to get any Moonlight Blossoms though,” she sighed.
“Just a few Moonlight Blossoms did you need? Twilight Sparkle, you could’ve gotten some from me,” stated Zecora.
We both turned to her.
“Wait…you have some?” we both asked.
With a nod, she walked over to her cupboard and brought out a bag. She brought it over and opened it to reveal a plethora blossoms.
“Indeed I do, please have a few,” she offered.
Twilight quickly opened her saddlebags and took a few bushels of flowers. Twilight hopped around with glee.
“Oh thank you thank you thank you thank you!”
“Awesome. Now we can get started on that potion,” you cheered. “How much do we owe ya Zecora?”
“No need to repay me; I enjoy your company. With solitude, I am blessed, but it is still nice to have guests,” she replied.
“Really? But I’d feel bad not repaying you-”
“Think nothing of it Nito, it was nice to have met you.”
Though it was subtle, you could hear the almost flirtatious melody coming from her words.
“Likewise, Zecora…” you blushed.
She responded with a smiling nod.
“Thanks again Zecora. Come on Nito, we got work ahead of us,” Twilight squeed with glee.
“Right, see ya around Zecora,” you spoke with a wave.
“Safety and peace to you my dear Nito. I do hope you won’t be a stranger though,” she mused.
That time you were almost certain that she was flirting with you, which made you blush.
The two of you left Zecora’s hut. As you made it out of the forest, you turned to Twilight.
“Say Twilight. Why does Zecora live there alone?” you asked.
“I don’t really know. We’ve asked before, but she always gives us a cryptic answer,” answered Twilight. “Why do you ask?”
“No reason really. Just wondering…”
You look down to see Twilight with a knowing smirk on her face.
“What?” you questioned.
“You like her…don’t you?”
“What…no… Sheesh, we just met, Twilight.
“Easy, Nito. I was just teasing. Besides, it seems that you may have piqued her interest too.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, she’s normally friendly with others, but with you…it seemed a little different. And not in a bad way,” she stated with a wink.
“Really?”
“Yeah…”
“I see…hmm…”
Twilight laughed, but it soon started to lose its enthusiasm.
“But…” she said as she stopped.
“Twilight? Are you-”
You felt yourself wrapped in a gentle embrace.
“I was so scared when you fell. I didn’t know what else to do when you fell into the canopy,” she said on the verge of tears.
“Hey…hey, it’s not your fault Twi. Things happen, nothing to beat you up over,” you replied with a smile.
She looked up to you.
“But-”
“No ‘buts’ little filly. Look I’m fine, and alive to boot.”
“I guess you’re right…”
“Now come on, we got a potion to make.”
“Yeah!” she nodded with a grin.
The two of you continue your trek home.
The following morning, you two are up bright and early to test out your new potion. After 4 hours of painstaking work, you were ready to test it out. You, Spike and Twilight had set up in the Palace Chemistry Lab.
“Nito…are you sure you should be doing this? I mean your ribs were pretty banged up last night,” asked a worried Spike.
“Don’t worry little bro, if our calculations are correct then this potion will make my body superhuman,” you beamed with excitement.
“Superhuman?” he tilted his head in confusion.
“You’ll see,” you winked. “Ready Twilight?”
She turned to see that she’s dressed in a lab coat and safety glass. She levitates the potion to you.
“Yep. Now as soon as you drink it, I’ll catalog any changes that may occur,” she said as she levitated her quill and notepad.
“Okay, here goes something,” you spoke before you drank the elixir.
The mixture had a bitter and earthy taste to it that made it almost impossible to swallow. Once the last drop was gone, you placed the container on the table. After a few seconds, you didn’t feel any changes.
“Well, how do you feel Nito? Any strange sensations or pulses?” asked Twilight, ready to jot down your response.
“Hmm, nothing yet…” you answered.
“Maybe the potion’s a dud,” noted Spike.
To which both you and Twilight give him a disapproving frown.
“We won’t know until-” you said before you felt a surge of energy come over you.
You fell to a knee as the sensation quickly overtook you.
“NITO! What’s wrong?” asked a worried Twilight.
“I’m o-okay Twilight…” you stated, holding up your hand.
As you felt the power flow through you, it left you in a state of awe.
‘W-What is this power…surging through me? ’ you thought.
After a few seconds, you were able to stand. You couldn’t believe how powerful you felt.
‘A guy could get used to this… ’
“Nito…are you okay?” asked Twilight.
“Eeyup…I feel so energized,” you said as you’re lightly bouncing in place.
“I see…” she noted, as she began to inspect you for any abnormalities. “Hmm, nothing seems out of the ordinary.”
“So, how about we test out my newfound prowess?” you eagerly suggested.
This caused Twilight giggled.
“Then let’s get started,” she smiled.
The two of you then head outside. She then looked up to see Rainbow Dash was flying overhead.
“Hey Rainbow! Got a second!” she called out.
Rainbow looked down to see the two of you and quickly flew down to you.
“Sure, what’s up?” she asked.
“I was wondering if you’d help us with a little experiment,” Twilight asked.
This caused Rainbow to raise an eyebrow.
“What kind of experiment?”
“Nito, wants to have a race with you,” stated Twilight.
Rainbow looked to you.
“Is that right?” she asked with a cocky grin.
“That’s right. You up for it?” you challenged.
“Oh, you are so on!” she grinned.
“Okay. First one to the Castle of the Two Sisters wins!” spoke Twilight.
“Fine with me!” you both said.
“Alright, take your marks,” Twilight instructed.
The two of you took a starting position.
“On your mark…get set…GO!” shouted Twilight.
The two of you bolted into town. As you were running, you were surprised at your newfound speed. You were easily able to keep up with your speedy prismatic maned friend.
“What’s wrong, Dashie? I thought you were faster than this?” you teased.
“I’ll admit I was going to go easy on ya, but I guess I can get serious…” she said with a competitive gleam in her eye.
She started to pull ahead. You then increased your speed and began to overtake her. When you passed her, she looked at you with disbelief.
“What?! No way!” she said stunned.
You turned to face her and started to run backward.
“Better get moving slowpoke,” you said before you turned back around and pulled ahead.
You heard a frustrated groan.
“Okay, the kid gloves are off!” Rainbow bellowed.
You chuckled to yourself as you heard your competitive friend’s decree.
‘Guess she's not used to someone being faster than her, ’ you snickered.
At that moment, you were blown past by a rainbow streak.
“See ya at the finish line, Nito,” she mocked.
As she headed toward the Everfree Forest, you decided to pick up the pace as well. While Rainbow chose to fly over the forest, you kept your pace and went through it.
As you dodged the various low hanging branch or upended roots, you heard a loud roar come from your left. You stopped and looked to see that Zecora was trouble. She seemed cornered by a large lion-like creature with wings and a scorpion tail.
‘A manticore! Oh no…Zecora! ’
You quickly made your way over to her. You saw that she is more than ready to fight.
“Though I may have lost some ground, I’m far from going down,” she spoke with conviction.
With a feral roar, the beast was preparing to strike. Just before it could land, you delivered a powerful kick to the beast muzzle. The force of the kick sent the beast crashing into a tree.
‘Wow, even my strength’s increased… ’
You landed in front of a shocked Zecora.
“You okay, Zecora?” you asked.
She nodded in response.
“Pleasantly so… thank you, dear Nito,” she replied.
“Just returning the favor,” you said with a wink.
You both heard the beast stir as it got to its claws.
“So, you want some more do ya?” you smirked, as you cracked your knuckles.
You felt a gentle hoof touch your back.
“Be calm and still, and see we will,” Zecora warned.
“I’m not worried, Zecora,” you spoke with confidence. “I can take this thin-”
At that moment, you felt your body become heavy and fell to a knee.
‘What the-?! What’s going on? ’ you questioned. ‘My body feels like lead… ’
“Nito, my dear friend. Why have you fallen?” Zecora asked with concern.
“Don’t know…my body has become really heavy all of a sudden…”
The beast wiped its muzzle. Once it saw its own blood, the manticore looked at you with rage-filled eyes.
‘Uh-oh… ’ you gulped.
The beast charged toward you. Before it could get at you, Zecora stepped in front of the creature.
“Rest yourself Nito. I will protect you,” she spoke.
The beast wrapped up Zecora with its tail and lifted her into the air.
“Let...her...go!” he said, in a weakened tone.
You tried to get to your feet but were sent flying back into a nearby tree with a swipe of the manticore’s claws. As you impacted, you felt the air leave your body.
“Nito!” Zecora cried.
In an act of defiance, Zecora bit down on the sensitive part of the beast’s tail. With a howl of pain, the beast released her. While on the ground, Zecora kicked its hindleg to try and slow it down. Once that was done, she quickly made her way over to you. As she was coming to you, you saw the beast lunge its tail at her.
“Zecora…behind you!” you called out.
Before she could react, the beast stabbed her in the side with its stinger. As the manticore pulled out its stinger, Zecora fell to the ground.
“No...Zecora!”
As the monster drew closer to her, you desperately tried to get to your feet.
‘Come on body…move… ’
You felt a little bit of your strength, and you start to get to your feet. Once you shakily made to your feet, you pointed to the manticore.
“Hey…ugly…” you shouted.
The beast turned his attention to you.
“Stay away from her! Or you’ll be sorry…” you said before you gather what strength you have left to charge the manticore.
Your charge was met with the brute sending you flying to the ground by the swing of its tail. As you hit the ground, the impact caused you to lose consciousness slowly.
“Ze…cor…a…”
As your eyelids began to get heavy, as soon the world then faded into darkness.
Life with the Sexy Shaman
The sun then grazed your cheeks which caused you to stir from your slumber. As you did you found yourself in the infirmary of the castle.
‘How’d I get to the infirmary? ’ you wondered.
The last thing you remembered was getting to the palace doors. Then everything went black as you fell to the floor. You surmised that the girls brought you here after your collapse. And judging from the rising sun, you must’ve been out all night.
You then looked around the room to see that the girls were all asleep. But when you looked to the side, you saw your beloved mare was there. She was nestled close to your chest. With a smile, you gently stroked her mane. She leaned into your touch and slowly opened her eyes.
“Morning my love~” you cooed.
As she looked to you with a relived smile, she quickly wrapped you in a tight embrace.
“My dearest one...you’ve now woken...” she spoke with relief.
“Ah...Zecora. My body’s still a little sore,” you sheepishly grinned.
She then loosened her grip. As she looked up to you, she leaned forward to give you a tender kiss. To which you eagerly returned.
“So, I take it you girls brought me here?” you asked.
“Yes, my dear heart. You gave us all quite a start,” she replied. “You’re battle truly took its toll. You went down like a newborn foal.”
This got you to chuckle a bit.
“I guess my body isn’t use to using that much power,” you reasoned.
She gave you a warm smile, but then gave you a serious look.
“Though in your fight I was afraid. I thought you’d succumb to your rage,” she spoke.
“I almost did. If you hadn’t stop me, who knows what I would’ve done,” you sighed.
“It is all right that your thoughts went so black. What’s important is that you came back,” she said, as she grazed your cheek.
You then gently rubbed her ear.
“It was thanks to you, my shaman,” you cooed.
She then leaned further into your touch. With a chuckle, you began to stroke her other ear with your other hand.
“Hmmmmm...” she purred, as she lost herself in your tender touch.
“I see my shaman likes this~” you smiled.
“Even when you’re a bedridden state, you know just how please your mate.”
“I wouldn’t be much of a lover if I didn’t,” you teased.
You then stopped rubbing one of her ears and started to trace her spine with your fingers. With a subtle moan, Zecora inched closer to you.
“You should be resting instead of teasing,” she sighed.

This got a soft giggle from your mare.

You both looked to see that the others were awake and had light blushes on their faces.

This got a blush from your mare. As you brushed her mane she gave an affectionate nuzzle.
“You two are so cute,” smiled Fluttershy.
“They really are,” said Twilight.
“That is not exactly the title for me to claim; I’ve many ways I love this man,” Zecora confessed.
“I don't think love is quite strong enough though,” you grinned.
You then felt her press her soft hoof against your chest. You looked to see her give you a concern gaze.
“After putting your body in that much stress; what you really need to do is rest,” Zecora spoke earnestly.
“But I-” you started to protest.
You were cut off by Twilight.
“She’s right, Nito. You’ve put a lot of strain on your body,” she pointed out.
You the folded your arms and pouted.
“Et tu , Twilight?” you uttered.
With a roll of her eyes, Twilight helped Zecora tuck you into the bed. Though you tried to protest, you were clearly outnumbered.
“Fine. I know when I'm beat,” you sighed.
“Well when you’re better you gotta show me that form again. It was so awesome!” smirked Rainbow.
“Sure Dash,” you chuckled.
Once the two mare were done, Zecora gave you tender kiss. She then leaned by your ear.
“We can continue this once you’ve recovered. I’m sure you are eager to be rewarded,” she whispered.
“As are you my love,” you whispered back.
With a sultry smile, she return to the seat at your side. Just then, your stomach let out a loud growl. This got a laugh from the girls.
“I’ll get you something to eat. Any requests for a treat?”
You then thought for a moment.
“I’ll take my favorite stew,” you beamed.
With a smiling nod, Zecora headed for the door.
“Wait up Zecora! I’ll show you where the kitchen is,” said Twilight.
She stopped at the door to wait for Twilight. The two then headed for the kitchen. As they left, you noticed the other were staring at you.
“So Nito...me and the girls were wondering something,” Applejack started.
“Yes?”
“Umm...well...” Fluttershy mumbled, as she hid behind her mane.
“What?”
“You know~” Pinkie smirked.
Pinkie then leaned in close and gave you a nudge.
“Umm...Pinkie. Remember our talk about personal space,” you said.
“Oh, sorry,” she said, as she backed up a bit.
“So...how far have you gotten with Zecora?”
“Well…I…” you started.
“Have you two had sex yet?” Pinkie blurted.
The silence was so deafening you could hear a pin drop.
“WHAT?! Why would you ask that?” you said with a blush.
“Don’t worry Nito. Your business is safe with us. Afterall, I’m not one to sully the names of my gentlecolt and mare callers,” spoke Rarity.
“But that’s so personal…” you countered.
“So you’ve only kissed then?” questioned Pinkie.
“Well...we’ve done somethings outside of kissing,” you stated.
“Define ‘some things’ darling?” pried Rarity.
With a blushed grin, you then told them what happened the previous night. As you spoke, Pinkie listened intently with a wide-eyed gaze while Rarity gave a smirk.
“So, Zecora doesn’t mind taking the road less traveled...never would have guessed,” noted Rarity.
As you finished, the room was filled with a mixed reaction.
“Oh my...” said a flustered Fluttershy.
“Whoa...” gasped Applejack and Rainbow.
“Yeah. It felt amazing,” you grinned.
“Although, Nito. For future reference, if you find yourself in a pinch, olive oil makes a good lubricant for the back door,” Rarity explained.
You then looked at her in awe.
“How do you know that?” you asked.

She then noticed that the others were looking at her.

“Well that explains a lot,” chuckled Applejack.
Though you knew that your mare truly enjoyed herself that night, you felt it wouldn’t hurt to maybe get some advice for your friends.

“Oh plenty darling,” Rarity answered with a slight gleam in her eyes. “Have you considered bathing with her?”
“Bathing with her?” you queried with a puzzled look.

You then reached over to the dresser next to you to retrieve a quill and pad. You quickly jotted down her advice.

“Plus, if you have an all-natural low odor body wash handy you can try a go at her back entrance,” noted Rarity.
“All right we get it, Rarity. Y’all like it back there Rarity,” Applejack chimed in with a roll of her eyes.
“Well...yes I do too...” grinned Rarity.
“I…I do too…” Fluttershy added.
They all turn to Fluttershy.
“Wait you too...” Applejack said a bit surprised.
The timid pegasus nodded.
“Well, Fluttershy. Ones’ tastes is nothing to be ashamed of, darling,” comforted Rarity.
This got a smile from her as she hide behind her mane.
“Ah ain’t judging or nothing, ‘Shy. Ah’m just waitin’ to advice on other things . Ah know a few things about usin’ ropes an switches, but ain’t none of that for newcomers to rush into,” spoke Applejack.
“I see… Well on that note, leather restraints can get pricey but a nice wool scarf gets the job done just as well. Plus, it’s much easier to get out of than rope if something...goes wrong,” said Rarity.
“I see...” you stated.
“Also keep in mind, if you ask her for a special treat like that you best be prepared for her to ask the same from you,” smiled Pinkie.
“Wait what?” you gulped.
“I’m afraid Pinkie does have a point, darling. Everything in a relationship is a two way street, and I do mean everything . Don’t be surprised if you come home with her wearing a strap-on,” explained Rarity.
“In other words lover boy, y’all better make sure to go as slow as she says to,” chimed in Applejack.
“Hmm...Good to know…” you said, as you went over your notes.
At that time, Zecora and Twilight had come back with a cauldron of your awaited meal.
“Food is ready,” smiled Twilight.
She then noticed that most of you had a cheesy grin on your face (excluding Rarity and her champion-class poker face).
“What’s going on?” asked Twilight.
“Oh nothing, just talking with the girls,” you replied.
“Quite right, darling. Just giving our dear Nito some relationship advice,” spoke Rarity.
“Oh, well that’s nice of you,” smiled Twilight.
“Eeyup, it was very educational,” you nodded.
Zecora then looked around the room.
“I can see it in your unsheltered eyes...Were you giving him intimate advice?” Zecora questioned with a knowing smirk.
They all looked away except for Rarity.
“Any subject that I should know?” she asked as she scanned the room. “Or were they just tales from your former throws?"
“Nothing like that dear. Say would you like to take a bath later,” you said trying to change the subject.
She then looked at you for a moment, then gave you a sultry smile.
“I think I would like that. Bathing together sounds intimate.”
“Good I can’t wait,” you cheered.
You then look to Rarity and gave her a wink. She responded with a winking nod. Your then given your bowl of delicious smelling stew.
“Now let’s eat!” you declared.
With a warm smile, Zecora and the others began to dig in. The girls noticed that you were eating rather quickly.
“Delicious as always dear,” you smiled.
“You cannot improve on the simple. Great meals can be cooked with little,” she replied.
“Yeah, but this is pretty good,” you said with a gulp.
This got a confident smile from your mare. You then finished your bowl.
“More please,” you requested.
After a brief chuckle, Zecora then refilled your bowl. You once again began to hastily eat your treasured stew.
“Geez, Nito. That stew isn't going anywhere,” laughed Rainbow.
“Yes it is! It's going straight to his stomach!” quipped Pinkie.
“You know what I meant Pinkie,” Rainbow replied with a deadpanned gaze.
Pinkie responded with her trademark squee, which cause Rainbow to merely rolled her eyes.
“Sorry, but the fight left me super hunger,” you explained.
“I’m not surprised, darling. Using all that energy must have taken a lot out of you,” said Rarity.
“That it did. I feels like I haven’t eaten in weeks,” you chuckled, never once losing momentum.
“You’d drained all your reserves for that attack. It will take time before your strength is back,” chimed in Zecora.
“I guess. More please~”
Zecora then filled your bowl again.
“Well, I’d like to study your newfound abilities, Nito. It could be quite beneficial for the other humans in Equestria. If that’s okay with you of course Nito,” spoke Twilight.
“I don’t mind. How about you dear?”
“I have no objection, but just two conditions,” Zecora stated.
“And those are?” asked Twilight.
“I wish to stay with him here. For he has much more training to clear. And to make it much easier for you, I’d like us to share his room too.”
“But of course,” smiled Twilight.
Zecora then respectfully bowed. With knowledge that you’re now okay, the girls decidedecided to head home.
“Well I gotta head out. Got some cloud busting to do,” stated Rainbow
“And I need to get to my furry little friends,” said Fluttershy.
“I have a dress collection for the fall line to complete,” mentioned Rarity.
“Ah promised Apple Bloom Ah’d help her with her schoolwork,” brought up Applejack.
“I have nothing planned, but I can take a hint,” winked Pinkie.
“Okay, we’ll see you around girls,” said Twilight.
You then waved goodbye to them as Twilight escorted them out.
“See ya girls. Thanks again for the advice,” you said.
That statement caused your mare to look at you.
“Hmm…?” Zecora queried with an arched eyebrow.
“You’ll see dear,” you winked.
“Oh, now will I? What will my dearest try?” she said with a mischievous grin.
“That’s a secret~” you teased.
Your teasing earned you a playful nibble to your ear.
“Mmh…” you purred.
You in return began to gently rub her ear. This got a nuzzle from your mare.

With a nod, she gave you another helping.
The day seemed to past like a blur as both you and your mare relaxed in the infirmary. Twilight would check in periodically to runs some preliminary test to check your status. Before you knew it, the day was done and evening had approached.
After a dinner, Twilight departed for her laboratory for the evening. This left you and your mare time alone. You then decided to follow the advice of Rarity.
“So...are you up for that bath, dear?” you asked.
“That depends, can you stand?” she responded.

You then removed the covers and swung your legs toward the edge of the bed. As you stood to your feet you remain vertical, albeit wobbly.

With a nod, the two of you headed to the royal bath. You were always impressed with the diamond floors complimented by the large porcelain bath. As you both entered in you both took the decorative sapphire bathroom fixtures. As you gathered the soaps and various bathing supplies, Zecora drew the bath. After you fetched the towels you made your way over to your mare.
“Is it ready dear?” you asked.
She shook her head, as she turned to you. She then helped you to take off your garments. After you were done with your clothes, you helped her with her jewelry. Once you both were bare you saw Zecora stop the water.
“Shall we get in?” you asked with a playful grin.
With a sultry smirk, she nodded and headed into the hot water. As she did, her tail brushed along your waist. You shivered at the initial contact then quickly joinex her. As you made into the water, you felt the heat relax your every muscle.
“Ah...the water feels so good~” you sighed.
Zecora has a blissful expression as she let the warmth of the water wash over her. She then inched over to you and leaned against you. Taking the opportunity, you reached for one of the body soaps. As you lathered your hands you gently ran your fingers over her body. Not one to leave her mate wanting, Zecora took some soap as well and serviced your body as well.

You couldn’t help but smile.
