Five Nights at Canterlot Mini Mall.

In the suburbs of Canterlot City, a young woman was sitting in her small house, skimming through a newspaper looking for a job. She had been searching for almost three straight hours and was still nowhere close to finding a help wanted ad. It was actually starting to become really annoying, as she had gone through every newspaper she had kept for the past two weeks, most of them either already taken or not able to set up an interview. She pushed her red and gold hair back in frustration. Her rent needed to be payed, and her electricity. She was close on to asking her friends for money. Sure, they had a tough start at first, but after her reformation, they gladly forgave her and decided that all she needed were friends. after a while, they basically hung out most of the time, and they always helped each other out. But asking them to hand over some money so she could pay the landlord was just plain selfish. She knew that she could pay the landlord by herself, and she decided to get a job instead of slacking around like most people during the summer.

And that is where she was right now. Searching for a job.

And she had no luck.

She rubbed her sea-foam green eyes in exhaustion. She decided that maybe she could go and rob some old cat lady of her valuables and sell them for-

No. That wasn't an option. She reformed to a better person. Better than the person she was before her reformation.  She would keep looking for a job and she would keep looking for a job. Any job right now was the best choice. With her confidence regained, she started looking again. Skimming through the paper, she looked for what seemed like an eternity, Not giving up, she searched till the last page.

Than she found it.

A help wanted ad.

She read out the ad out loud.

"Looking for night guard for the C.M.M. No experience required. Will pay $240.00 per week."

She squealed in excitement. Not only had she found a job, but would also work at the new mall that recently opened. She and her friends had been to the mall before, and it was the most amazing thing that came to Canterlot City. Plus, the pay was huge! $240 for a week. that was $48 a night. enough to pay the landlord AND for her electricity. Grabbing the phone, she called the number and waited. While the phone rang, she calmed herself down and cleared her throat. She needed to make a good impression, after all.

Finally, somebody answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello. I'm calling because I saw your ad in the newspaper, and I was wondering if I could take the position."

"The one for the night guard? Yeah, yeah!  Sure you can! Your actually the first one to call!"

"Really?"

"Yeah, yeah! All I need from you is a name, phone number and age."

"My name is Sunset Shimmer. My phone number is 935-407-1945. And I am 16 years old." said Sunset Shimmer.

"Alright. Just swing by the mall in half in hour and we'll get you settled all in!"

"That's it?"

"Yep."

"Alright then!" Sunset.

"See you soon!" said the man before he hung up.

She did it. She got a job. An actual job. She quickly ran to her room and got her bus pass and cell phone. She ran to the bathroom and washed herself up. She brushed her hair, washed her face, and put some make-up on. She took a look at herself in the mirror. She went and grabbed her black jacket and-

Wait.

Maybe the jacket wasn't a great idea. It would probably give a bad impression on whoever she was being hired by. Deciding to ditch the jacket and go in her skirt and tee. She actually looked decent without the jacket. Rushing downstairs, she grabbed an apple and her house keys, ran out the door, locked up, and ran to the bus stop. She waited for five minutes and finally hopped on the bus all the way to the terminal. Then she hopped on another bus and rode for 8 minutes until she go off and walked to the mall.

It wasn't a big mall, but to her it felt like she would take care of a giant house for the night. She walked to the front door and stopped. This was it. Her moment. Her first job. And she couldn't wait.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed on the doors and went in. She felt ready. ready for anything.

But wasn't ready for what kind of horror awaited.

10:30 PM

Sunset slept since she got home. She was told she would take the 12 AM to 6 AM shift. So she needed to rest and get ready for a long six hours. It didn't matter. She felt comfortable with the early morning shift. The manager there was nice. And he was right. There was no experience needed. It was simple. Check the cameras, ensure nothing got in or out, whatever that meant, and it was easy. Although she had limited power because they needed to reserve some power for the next few weeks, until they could re-wire the security office with the main power supply. She also learned that she needed to keep an eye on the brand new animatronics they got as a gift from a closing pizzeria. They all worked pretty well. They only damaged one was one of the animatronics that was out of order, who was all ripped, torn and beaten up. But they would hire some repairmen to fix that. She had learned their names. There was Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox. They used to be from a place called 'Freddy Fazbears Pizza' that got closed down because of some money problems. They also said that they had a little, mishap, at their last home. They didn't tell them what it was though.

It was 11:15 when she woke up. When she looked at the time, she freaked. She quickly put on the security hat and jacket, her cell phone, her food for the night, bus pass and keys. She locked the door and ran to the bus stop. twenty minutes later, she got to the mall and walked to the back of the mall. She unlocked the door and locked it once she was in. She navigated through the dark to the security room. She put her food on the desk in front and her keys, sat on the chair and settled in.

It was now 12:00 AM.

Her five nights at Canterlot Mini Mall had started.
