Dare You To Walk Through This Haunted Cemetery With Me

“I dare you to walk through that cemetery with me” Pinkie said grabbing Twilights hand and pulling her towards the cemetery.

“No Pinkie” Twilight said pulling her hand out of the grip and continuing on her path back to their apartment.

“But Twily, if we cut through the graveyard we can get back home faster” Pinkie reasoned.

“Maybe if you hadn’t decided to do this at nine at night, during October and let’s not forget the numerous horror movies you’ve made me watch the past couple of days, I would say yes”

Crossing her arms across her chest and pouting she said “Come on Twily, please! Besides it was a dare. I thought you never backed down from a dare.”

“That’s Rainbow”

“And you”

“I never back down from a challenge, not some stupid dare”

“Are you chicken?”

“No, last I checked I don’t have feathers or lay eggs”

“TWILY!!!!” Pinkie whined as she dropped to the ground on her knees in a begging position.

“If you shut-up and get off the ground, then fine, I’ll go through you’re stupid graveyard”

“Yes” Pinkie said grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the creepy gates.

Gulping, Twilight tightened her grip in Pinkies hand as she was dragged into the graveyard. When they reached the first tombstones they stared walking. Looking around she knew you could hear a pin drop in this place. Fog seemed to surround them, so Halloween zombie movie, cracked tombstones and trees with no leaves on them. The graveyard was freaking creepy but if it got Pinkie to shut-up it was worth it…..hopefully.

Weaving their way between the graves the diverted off the dirt path “Pinkie where are you leading us?”

“Duh in the direction home”

Sighing she let herself be numbly drug along not really noticing until Pinkie abruptly stopped and Twilight nearly ran into her.

“Why the heck did you stop?” she asked.

“Did you hear that?” Pinkie asked, her voice quivering.

“Hear what Pinkie, either you’ve watched too many horror movies or you’re trying to scare me”

“It sounded like something was following us”

“It was probably just you hearing us walk, geez if you’re so scared just get moving”

Pinkie started leading them again but asked “What if it’s a murderer?”

“Really? Just take a deep breath; we have to be almost out. I see the trees that are in front of our apartment”

Nodding she continued walking before adding “But what if it’s a zombie or a ghost or a stalker?” then gasping “What if it’s a ghost zombie murderer stalker?!”

“Pinkie just shut the hell up and keep walking” Twilight exclaimed getting tired of her friends antics. But then she heard it, something that sounded like footsteps close behind them.

“Did you hear that?!” Pinkie whispered yelled.

“…..Yes” Twilight whispered back.

“I told you”

“It’s probably just us, stop for a few seconds and when the noise stops we’ll know it was just us all along.” Nodding Pinkie halted their walking and they both listened quietly to see if they could hear anything.

When nothing happened for a few seconds Twilight opened her mouth and began “See I told there was nothing-“only to be the sound of footsteps behind them. Turning to Pinkie she saw that her friends face had turned entirely white. Grabbing her friends hand Twilight pulled her towards the trees not stopping her pace until they were in front of their apartment complex.

“I swear to god we are never gonna do that again” Twilight panted out.

“Agreed” Pinkie gasped.
