Don't worry. I haven't forgotten about the monster.

CHAPTER EIGHT: Daddy Dorchester

Discord had left that day. He left to find King Horus so that he could help us. Yet something else was on my mind today... I was heading home to check up on Silvermoon because it was almost time.

A note appeared in my face as I was flying in the air.

“Not agaii- Aaahhhhh!” I said as the note hit me in the face. I lost my focus and began to fall towards the ground. I hit the ground face first. The note just fluttered down onto my head. I plucked it out of the sky and read it.

It's time

My heart skipped a beat.

Well what are you waiting for? Go man go!

Sped towards the house.

Hey dumbass! You can teleport!

Oh yeah.

I teleported myself to the house. I saw Silvermoon laying there. Princess Celestia, Luna, Lance, Frederic, and Twilight had all shown up.

“Well. This isn't too much of a surprise.” I said.

“You didn't miss too much. As soon as we heard that Silvermoon had gone into labor, all of us just transported right here!” Twilight said.

I walked over to see Silvermoon lying on her back on the couch, her eyes closed.

She groaned.

“Hey.” I said.

Silvermoon opened her eyes, she smiled and put her hooves out like a baby.

I rolled my eyes, still smiling. “Alright, alright.” I bent down and hugged her for a few seconds.

“Hey.” Silvermoon said.

“You okay?” I asked her.

“Just a few contractions here and there, but I'm alr- fuuuuck...”

Princess Celestia stepped forward. “They've been pretty strong so far.”

I nodded and turned my face to Celestia. “Nothing Silvermoon can't handle.”

Silvermoon groaned again.

“Hey, I know!” Frederic said.

We all turned to face him. Except Silvermoon.

“Play her a song! Like you did when Luna was in labor.”

I felt my cheeks turn red.

“You did what now?” Silvermoon said.

“I played a small song or two to get Luna's mind off of the pain while she gave birth to Nova and Star Chaser.” I said.

Silvermoon smirked. “I'll be the judge of that to see if it works.”

I shrugged. “Alrighty then!” I said, doing my best engineer voice from Team Fortress 2.

I trotted over to the closet, and got out the old violin that I played so long ago. I returned back to the living room.

“Alright, I may be a bit rusty but... let's see if this will work.” I said. I tuned the violin, and began to play Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. The same song I played a few months ago.

When I finished, Silvermoon was already panting as Princess Luna and Celestia acted as “nurses”.

Lance was over in the corner. I forgot he had a weak stomach.

Frederic stood next to me. I looked up to see him smiling. Silvermoon was busy.

She groaned loudly. “This sucks...”

I chuckled and wrapped her hoof in mine. “I know, but it will all be worth it. I promise.”

Silvermoon took a few moments to respond. “Yeah... I guess so... uugggh...”

I checked to see the progress made. Lance turned around.

“Is it...? Shit mother fucker!” Lance fainted.

“Uh...”

Frederic hit him on the shoulder and spoke out after a few seconds. “ Yeah, he's out. Poor guy.”

Silvermoon made a whimpering sound. I looked to see her growing restless. She began to move her body, adjusting.

I trotted over. I ran my hoof through her soft mane.

Aaawwwww...

Bleegh...

“Stay strong, my love.”

Silvermoon panted. She groaned loudly again.

I kept stroking her head while my other free hoof began to roam. I stroked her side all the way down to her hips slowly.

“Almost there Silvermoon! Keep it up.” Princess Celestia said.

I smiled. “You hear that?”

Silvermoon smiled weakly back at me. “Yeah.”

Time passed. Lance eventually woke up, only to faint again.

“Just one last quick push, come on!”

Silvermoon tightened her grip on my hoof.

“Done!” Princess Luna gasped out in delight.

“Oh my god... ohmygodohmygod...” Silvermoon cried out.

“It's a colt!”

Silvermoon raised herself and wrapped her arms around me. She was crying in delight. I couldn't help but shed a few tears myself.

“Wha... what happened...?” Lance said drowsily.

“It's over...? Damn... I need to get a stronger stomach.”

Silvermoon released me.

“Let me see my baby!” She said.

She's protective. I'll give her that.

Heh, surprise, surprise.

Princess Celestia washed off the new born foal and handed him to Silvermoon. She took him gently and began to rock him in her arms.

He was dark blue and had a black mane.

“What should we name him?” Silvermoon asked.

“Let's name him... Solar.”

“I like that name.”

I looked behind me to see Frederic standing besides Luna. Lance was sitting on a chair near the couch, smiling. Princess Celestia stood over me and Silvermoon.

Silvermoon cuddled Solar close to her chest. She made her classic purring sound.

“Don't worry about him flying anytime soon. His wings are weak, but his magic will be unstable.” Celestia said.

I chuckled. “I'm sure we can manage Princess.”

Silvermoon wrapped Solar in a small pink blanket. She handed him to me.

I held Solar.

He suddenly opened his eyes, revealing the biggest royal blue eyes you've ever seen.

D'aaaaawwwww...

I knew you had a soft spot!

...shut up...

“Hi Solar... I'm your daddy...”

I sniffed as tears fell down my cheeks. I was just so damn happy!

“I'm your daddy, Dorchester.”

Meanwhile...

“The foal was just born my lord...”

“Perfect...”

“Perfect? Shouldn't you be angry?”

“No, of course not.”

SMASH

“My lord! Your body armor is complete! We shall be working on your wing armor now!”

“Good... take your time...”

“Yes, my lord!”

Luce stood still as the demonic blacksmith began to attach massive armor to Luce's body. Luce's back and head already had armor. once the wing armor was done, Luce would be able to rise.

Luce smiled at the thought.

Nightmare continued to bow below Luce.

“What do you plan to do?”

“Ever since I took the monster back... I've realized that we should wait a little longer. But not any longer. I wanted to grow used to this new armor. Make it work, if you will. But that was a foolish thought.”

“And Anarchy?”

“Keep her soul... I want her to suffer while she stays in Tartarus forever.”

“And the foal?”

“The foal will only make my plans better. It will make it harder for him to leave his new addition to the family...”

Nightmare raised his head. “Is that all, my lord?”

Luce's eyes glared at Nightmare.

“My main priority is to destroy The Shadow. With that demon at their disposal, they now have powers beyond their own imagination. I cannot let that power be there's. I will send in the beast immediately. Now go!”

Nightmare got up from his bowing stance and left Luce alone with the demonic blacksmiths.

It is only a matter of time... only a matter of time... Luce thought.

Only a matter of time.
