Princess Twilight was walking down the hall towards the kitchen. As she passed by princess celestias bedroom she overheard an argument.
"I hate you!" One screamed.
"You were the biggest mistake of my life." Celestia replied.
Twilight stopped and pressed her ear against the door to listen more carefully.
"So just because I couldn't perform magic as a filly you got rid of me?!" The other one sobbed and screamed.
"No you don't exist, and if you try to make your prescence known I will kill you or one of your friends." Celestia said dismissively.
"I wish you never made me, I wish you and discord just killed me after I was born, you sick bitch!" The voice screamed.
"Careful what you say or I may just go back and crush your little skull." Celestia threatened.
"You wouldn't dare, even you wouldn't kill your own daughter! Or maybe you would, come on let's see, I won't stop you!" The voice cried.
A scream of pain was heard.
"You are a pathetic excuse for a pony now get out before I kill you." Celestia spat.
The doors to the sun goddesses bedroom splintered as a white alicorn with a dark red mane flew out and dented the wall behind her.
"Why can't you just die?" Celestia asked stepping over the bleeding mare, several large chunks of mirror sticking out of her sides and belly.
"Stop!" Twilight shrieked.
"Twilight?!" Celestia turned to see the purple alicorn charging her horn.
Suddenly twilight and the injured alicorn disappeared from the hall in a flash of light.
The two flashed into a clearing in the woods outside canterlot.
"Are you okay?!" Twilight rushed over to the bleeding mare.
"Fine." The pony spat.
"Um, well, you aren't really, you've got glass shar-"
"I said I'm fine!" The pony shouted. "Just leave me alone, I can take care of myself." She muttured. Getting up on her hooves she began limping away.
"Wait!" Twilight called out. "You're an alicorn, how come I've never heard of you before?"
"Because you heard her, I don't exist." The pony continued walking.
"Why don't you exist?" Asked twilight.
"Because I wasn't what she wanted me to be." The mare closed her eyes tightly and a single tear fell from her eye.
"What did she want you to be?" Twilight pressed.
"You." The mare spat and continued to struggle along the path.
"What?" Twilight stopped "I thought sunset shimmer was the princesses last student."
"I wasn't her student. The alicorn snapped.
"Then what were you?" Twilight asked. Fearing the answer she expected to hear.
"The Alicorn stopped and turned to twilight, her eyes saddened by years of torment and she spoke. "her daughter."
Meanwhile...
Sunset shimmer took her seat in her alternative arts class, the course was designed for students to come up with other mediums not outlined by the boards regular art curriculum. Looking around she saw a few familiar faces, to her left was fluttershy, one of the two students who bothered to show her respect after the whole princess twilight ordeal. There was this worlds twilight, she transferred shortly after the events and was filled in by the other students, seeking a friend she and sunset shimmer became friends after debating a scientific theory in physics class. There was Octavia in front of her, and rainbow dash shot her a dirty look as she looked around, after the whole demon ordeal rainbow dash and applejack tried to get a petition signed to have sunset expelled, after being informed such a petition was not only impossible but also bullying the two resorted to making her life hell, using social media and every recourse available.
The door opened and an un happy looking man walked into the room, he had a large black backpack with military webbing on the back, taking a seat on her right he tilted his neck, causing a series of cracks to be audibly heard.
"That's the new guy." Someone whispered. "I heard he came from Canada, I guess that crap keeps the snow off his face" the voice snickered.
The new student reached into his backpack and produced a tablet and slid it towards sunset discretely, the other students in front of them oblivious to the gesture.
Sunset picked the device up and her jaw dropped. The page displayed today's edition of the canterlot journal, not the one from this world but the pony universe. The headline read 'celestia to take faction with niece and former student'. Reading the article sunsets jaw only remained open. 'Princess celestia announced that she would be taking a vacation with princess twilight sparkle and princess cadence to a camp up in the mountains sou rounding canterlot. Rumours of a possible breach in security began circulating after the palace went on lockdown for four hours yesterday evening. The princesses have refused to comment but royal guard captain shining armour stated 'the princesses just need a break, 'there was no breach of security yesterday it was merely a drill' when questioned further the captain left.'
Sunset couldn't believe it, this student had come from her world, and was revealing it in the most nerdy way possible, first he had to buy the paper and then make a digital copy. As she scanned the article she read a note at the bottom. 'Celestia, sparklebitch and cadence are coming here to discuss an issue, you are more then welcome to attend, she won't be able to do anything, the lunar guard will be protecting you.' The note read.
"Keep the tablet, its running linux, the iOS 6 and windows 8." The student muttered.
"Who are you?" She whispered back.
"Midnight blaze!" Principal celestia called out, standing in the doorway. "I'm glad to see you found the room okay."
"Wasn't hard to find. Just had to look for the one that looked like it threw up a little girls show." The student called back.
"You certainly seem happy." The principal replied sarcastically.
"Yeah Well... Whatever." The student grabbed his bag and moved to the corner of the room.
"So nice to see you happy." The principal muttered.
Midnight just silently stuck his fist into the air as the principal turned and extended his middle finger.
"Hey show some respect man!" Rainbow dash called out.
"Says the walking pride parade." Midnight muttered.
"You wanna go?!" Rainbow shouted.
Midnight stood up violently. "I was in ukraine for six months!" He roared "trying to save my people, this is where a Russian soilder put a knife into my throat!" He looked up and pointed to a scar on his neck. Try me."
"Midnight blaze!" Shouted a voice in the doorway. A figure in armour stood there holding a rifle.
"Fuck." Muttered midnight before many rounds struck him in the chest, causing him to stumble backwards.
Students screamed, an scattered.
Midnight remained standing and looked at the solider. "Now that's just rude" he smirked before running towards the figure.
"Shit!" The solider yelled before running out the door and down the hall.
Midnight caught up to the solider shortly. Grabbing his head he slammed it i to the wall so hard it caused the cinder block to crack. "Now you listen and you listen good. I could care less about what you just did, but you tell her to never come after me in this school, and the invitation is still on."
The solider just groaned. Midnight slammed his head into the wall again, dislodging a large chunk of wall.
"Midnight!" Shouted a white girl with ruby read hair. "They're here?"
"Get him outa here, I gotta get fixed up." Midnight grunted, collapsing onto the ground.
"Convincing." Congratulated the white girl as she grabbed the solider and blinked out of existence.
"Over here!" Shouted twilight, she and fluttershy ran over followed by sunset shimmer.
Midnight smiled internally, 'good they bought it.' He thought.
