Of God Eaters and Ponies

(Dream world)

Moments later I made my way back to the CMC’s clubhouse, and decided to take a little nap before I had to help the crusaders on their mission or something else that I don’t know. As I was dreaming I found myself in my in the City of Mercy. Ah dammit another dream about my past, what is it this time?

“Johnny, Ricky. The aragami is heading your way, get ready to take it down!” That voice, it couldn’t be. I turned around to see Anna and Mai chasing after a beat up Chi-You. Oh this mission, I’m not gonna lie but this mission I hate the most. Mostly because I was the new girl on the team and they we’re pretty much dicks towards me, and they pretty much had me be the bait for aragami to chase after while they watch and prepare to kill it.

“We’re on it!” Johnny said as he threw a stun trap at the fleeing Chi-You causing it to freeze. Ricky then jumped from the building he was on and delivered the killing blow to the aragami’s head. “Nice work Ricky.”

“That monster didn’t stand a chance against us. It was a good idea to use the new girl as bait to weaken it a bit.”

“Didn’t think that it would work really. Hey where’s the newbie?”

“She should be here by now. Oh hey, there she is.” Anna said. I turned around to see my former self running to the group catching her breath. I’m not gonna lie, but I was pretty much not the well built soldier out of the group and I ended up being either teased or used at bait for the aragamis. “What took you so long newbie? We were about to send someone to help you if you got lost.”

“Y-You guys, are a bunch of assholes.”

“Hey come on, don’t be like that. You survived didn’t you?” Mai asked in a sarcastic voice. “Plus you got to be useful for once so that should be a win in your book.”

        Yep this dream I hate the most…..odd that I would be dreaming of something like this. The last time something like this happened was when…..ugh fucking hell that bitch of a moon princess is in my dream again. I pulled out my god arc, switched it to gun mode, and aimed it at what I could guess was where Luna was standing while hidden from my sight. “I KNOW YOU’RE HERE BITCH! UNLESS YOU WANT A REPEAT OF WHAT HAPPEN LAST TIME, THEN GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY DREAMS!” At first I thought it was Luna that was gonna appear in front of me, but it turned out it was Celestia. And she had a piss off expression on her face.

“Hello Ruby.”

“Oh great so you can do the same thing like Luna did, and go into somepony’s dream.”

“Yes I can. Now care to explain why you attacked my sister last night?”

“She invaded my dream. It’s bad enough I have certain nightmares I don’t need someone going into in my mind a read it.” The only people I will tell about my nightmare and certain parts about my life are my friends. Other than that good luck trying to get me to say anything jerkface.

“It’s her job to help out any pony that is have trouble sleeping or having a nightmare. What you did was an assault on the royal family and I could have you arrested.”

“Then you can add it to the list of things that I’ll be pardon for once we have our little fight in a month.”

“You still think that you can beat me?” She asked chuckling a bit. “Fine I’ll add it to the list of things that you have done. Though I think you might want to give up and accept your punishment.”

“Like I’m gonna lose to a lazy princess like you.” I switch my god arc to blade mode, and aimed it at the sun pony. “Don’t underestimate me princess. I took down a dragon and manticore so taking you down shouldn’t be a problem at all.”

“We shall see my little pony, till then try not to cause too much trouble.”

“As long as they don’t attack me first then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.”

“I get the feeling that you been getting into a fight with Twilight and her friends have you?”

“Only her friends, she pretty much have the balls to actually say she was sorry for attacking me . I have more respect for her then I do for her friends.”

“That kind of attitude will not get you that many friends.”

“Nether is trying to force friendship onto others, it doesn’t work out so well.”

“Maybe you should change your attitude than?”

“Maybe you should mind you mother-”

(Real world)

        Before I could finish my statement. I woke up from my short talk with Celestia from my dream by Applebloom; who had a scared expression on her face. “Hey you okay?” I asked wondering what was up with her. She pretty much pointed to the window as she put a finger to her lips telling me not to say a word. Something tells me that it’s a monster from the everfree forest, so I did and slowly moved to the window and looked outside. The moment I did I was for first time being here surprised at what I saw. Standing outside of the clubhouse was a ogretail covered in blood.

“What the hell!?”  I whispered not wanting to let the aragami now somepony was inside. I turn my attention towards Applebloom and motion her to come near me quietly. “Care to explain what the hell that aragami is doing here?”

“I don’t know. Me and the girls were playing outside during recess, when all of a sudden we heard a loud roar and three of those things came out of nowhere and started attacking the school. One of them were trying to eat Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, but I was able to distract it by hitting it with a rock and have it chase after me.”

“That’s the most stupidest and brave thing you have ever done Applebloom…..nice job kid.” I said while patting her on the head.

“Y-You’re not angry at me for trying to act brave?”

“You didn’t act brave you were being brave. Something that where I come from would be shined upon, that and that’s something I would do if my friends were in trouble. So you pretty much have my respect in my book.” Applebloom blushed at what I said. It was cute when I looked at her doing that, but I had to turn my attention at the ogretail. “So is this the only one that followed you here?”

“That’s the only one that followed me, the others were chasing me but they stopped and went after the ponies in Ponyville.”

Great looks like I have to go after them before somepony get hurt, or those six idiots try to get it out of ponyville. “Okay, I’ll deal with the one here. After that we’re going to Ponyville and see if shit haven’t hit the fans yet.”

“We?”

“Well I can’t leave you alone here, there may just be three but there could be more coming. For now stay here and I’ll deal with this one.” I reached for my god arc and rushed out the door to take care of the aragami. The moment the ogretail saw me it tail was up in the air and fired it’s spike like hairs at me. I activated my shield to protect myself from the attack as I switched to my blade and charged at the aragami.The ogretail charged at me as well, half way through the charge it decided to jump at me like a lion going after it’s prey. When it did that I moved out of the way as it landed where I moved out of the way from. The moment it landed I lunged myself at it and cut at the aragami’s neck just like I did with the dragon killing it upon impact. I turned around to see Applebloom peeking her head from out the window wondering if it was okay for her to come out. I motion to come near me as I placed my god arc next to me for a moment.

“Never thought I see an orgetail here of all places.”

“You think they’re more hiding around?”

“They’re usually stay in a pack or on their own sometimes, but seeing how you told me there were three of them. I’m gonna have to guess they’re more than just three.” I lifted up my god arc along with Applebloom; who I placed on my back. “I need you to hold onto me until we reach the school okay?”

“Are we gonna fly there?” I wish I could fly, but you’ll just have to deal with me running on hooves until I can learn how to fly.

“No, we’re gonna have to run on foot.” I said as I took a running position, and bolted towards Applebloom’s school.

“WHOA!” Applebloom yelled as she held onto me tightly from the sudden burst of speed. Can’t really blame her really, I never did tell her that god eaters able to move fast with help of the oracle cells. A few minutes later we came upon Ms. Cheerilee’s school as we saw two of the orgetail’s that she told me about surrounding the school and eating pieces of it. Not know if I was to late to save them I decided to launch myself

“HANG ON APPLEBLOOM! THIS IS GONNA GET A LITTLE MESSY!” I yelled used my god arc to devour the orgetail eatting at the wall where I can guess Ms. Cheerilee and the kids were in.The other aragami however, I raised my god arc and sliced it in two as it blood poured onto the two of us.

“EW! You could’ve just let me off before you did that you know?” she said giving me a annoyed look as she brush off some of the blood from off her face.

“Sorry about that, didn’t want any of them to get into the school and start eating ponies. Though I’m surprise you’re not scared or terrified by what I just did.”

“You do realise that during our crusading we been chased by monsters from the everfree forest, so stuff like this is what we pretty much go through sometime. But I’ll have to say that seeing something like this is a little bit….unsettling.”

        Okay she’s on my list of friends I can get used to have around me, that and her friends. Just as I whipped away the blood from my left eyes, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo tackled me along with the rest of their classmates from inside the school; well besides the two rich ponies. I gonna take a shot in the dark saying that they’re thanking me for saving them from the aragami.

“I knew you would come back with Ruby.” said Sweetie Belle as she released her grip on me and began to hug Applebloom who was still covered in blood.

“Why would you think I wouldn’t come back?”

“Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon thought you got eaten by those things.” said Scootaloo as she glared daggers at the two fillies she mentioned.

“They’re called aragamis; or to be specific they’re called ogretail.” I said as I pulled myself off some of the kids who were still hugging me.

“Wait those things are real?”

“Pretty much yeah, but I’m wondering how the hell did they even get here?”

“Did they follow you here to Ponyville?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“I doubt it seeing how I fell off a cliff, but-.” I was cut off at mid sentence by a loud roar. Shit, that sounded like it was coming from Ponyville. And judging by how loud that was it was either a Vajra or Quadriga….I’m really hoping it’s a Quadriga. “Not to be rude or anything, but I gotta go to Ponyville and take care of a whatever it is that’s attack the town. Applebloom, you stay here and...um.” I tried to think of something as an idea came to me. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a flare gun. “If an aragami appear near the school, use this and I’ll rush back as soon as I can okay?” Applebloom nodded as I turned around and rushed off towards Ponyville.
