Meow and I
Eris? Who's Eris?
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Are you Mr. and Mrs. Feather?" the nerdy hotel clerk asked.
Both Meow and I nodded our heads as another stallion used his magic to grab our bags and guided us to our room, there inside as we entered the room laid a bed fit for two ponies only, roses were drawn out all over the floor and there was a cart to the side covered with mugs of cider, food and various of other delights.
"Enjoy your stay!" the stallion said as he placed our bags down and left the room. Once the door shut, Meow grabbed a hold of me and kissed my ear passionately.
"Are you ready for tomorrow Crystal?" Meow asked me as he rubbed his hoof against my face.
"Yeah, but right now I'm really tired from the wedding. Watching ponies dance, Crystal Skies falling under the table of ours, and then our dance together. I'm just ready to go to bed." I responded grabbing his hoof and just holding it into mine.
Putting all of our stuff around the room to prepare for bed and for our little adventure tomorrow to start our journey as husband and wife. All of the sudden in the mist of putting things together I caught Meow laying on the ground with his front hooves covered over his head and his body was trembling.
Laying my body next to him trying to figure out what's wrong, tears ran down his eyes as he tried to catch up with his breath with the hiccups of tears.
"Please, I'm sorry!" he screamed out loud like he was talking to some pony that he knew in his dream...
Meow's POV

"Why didn't you follow orders?! You could've saved me, but I died because of you disobeying!" Eris snapped at me. My eyes widening, my jaw dropping to what felt like the floor, and my hooves forcing me to back up.
"I'm sorry! Okay, I moved on." I told her trying to get Eris' yelling to stop. But my pleas were futile.
"And you'll disobey again!"
"I won't!"
"You will..." she pointed her hoof at me with anger radiating in her ghostly eyes.
"I'm sorry!"
"Liar!"
"I said I was sorry!"
Crystal's POV
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Meow repeatedly screamed, pleading to the pony in his dreams that he called Eris.
"Shhh..." I comforted, "It's okay. I'm right here, no pony is going to hurt you anymore." The tears falling down Meow's face soon started down my own face as I saw his strong figure maneuver into this weak little colt, I did the best that I could to comfort him. After about two minutes of comforting Meow, my heart simply couldn't fight the tears back anymore.
Quickly getting off the floor beside him, I turned the corner and dialed the small phone that happened to be there. If there was one pony that I could call for any medical help on the spot, I just knew who to call, Crystal Skies. "Hello..." Crystal grudgingly said as if I had waken her from her slumber... oops.
"I'm sorry to have awakened you Crystal, it's me, listen I have a medical question."
"It better be serious to be calling me early in the morning. I have to get to work in the morning."
"I'm sorry! Meow is like trapped in this dream world kind of thing and we haven't even gone to actual bed yet. He's been yelling out in the distance saying, 'I'm sorry' repeatedly, 'I won't,' and calling out the name Eris. He's been in tears during this dream world and he can't seem to escape it. What should I do? Better yet what is going on?"
Crystal Skies was quiet for a moment like she was thinking and soon responded, "Honestly, I don't know what it is exactly, but it sounds like he might have some PTSD but I can't say for sure. He should be out of it soon but don't worry, but I would remove whatever object that is by him that might be triggering it off and be really careful."
"Okay, should I take him to the doctor when we get back or not?"
"It would be best, but that also means that he would have to start therapy as well, that might be best for him."
"Okay, thanks Crystal, I'm sorry to wake you. Tell every pony I said hi."
"I will, goodnight Crystal Feather."
"Goodnight Crystal Skies." Once I hung up the phone I walked back into the main room where he was laying, sitting there with worry plastered on his face.
"Meow?" I asked. He glanced up a me with his fur stained with tears, "Are you okay? Fell better?"
Meow looked around himself like he was trying to comprehend where he was at and what exactly was going on in his head. Then he finally responded, "What just happened? All I remember is walking up to the bed and spotting a stallion out the window wearing a uniform and then seeing my best friend Eris who happens to be Comet's mom. She's been dead since the war and like she was telling me that I'll disobey again and have you killed." He started to curl up in his little ball again and cry.
I got back down on the ground beside him, Meow grabbed a hold onto me with all he could.

Staring up at the tall cream white and emerald crystal building at the peak perched a white wooden cross. Memories fell through my head, the concrete walkway remembered. I smiled my big wide smile as they came. This was here where my real life had began as a filly with all these important ponies in my life. I looked down at Emerald and Comet dressed in the finest dresses that they had. They weren't Canterlot fine dressed but they were fine dresses.
"Alright you two, I'm going to take you to the young foals group and I'll see you in big church okay." I told the both of them. Emerald and Comet both nodded and followed me as I dropped them both off into the foal group in the 3rd grade, almost leading to the youth group. As I began walking to the staris to the adult group that I was in I heard a familiar voice call my name from behind.
When I turned around I noticed the familiar brown and white mare with a beige and brown stallion and two little foals heading on their own way to the young foals group. The both of us hugged and I hugged the stallion.
"Hey Bass Lace and Magic Beat, how have you two been?" I asked once I let them go from our hug."
"We've been good, been missing you here. How did your honeymoon go?" Bass Lace asked.
"It was good, just at times really freaky. Poor Meow, since he was in the war he has developed PTSD and most of his attacks had happened while we were there. But now he is getting some help to control this."
"That's good. Come on, lets get to class."
The three of us went upstairs to class, getting to see Divine Oath, Glowing Frolic, Metal Note, Starry Ballet, and Violet Amber all together. Every pony was living their life well; Glowing was following all those things that she was saying all those years, have foals and then adopt a couple into her life, Divine Oath playing her violin for the church and then her little filly traveling the towns of Equestria teaching the word to ponies, Starry Ballet with her dancing, Violet Amber with her talent for acting, and finally Metal Note being her crazy goofy self.
Getting ready for big church with Emerald and Comet over talking with all of their fillies or colts, just being a group of friends like we were, my phone rang. Displaying the name, Black Ninja. Picking it up I told her, "What's up Ninja, you never call me? I'm about to go into Church I can't talk long."
"I'm sorry Crystal but I happened to find Meow out in the streets and right now he is laying on my couch kind of unconscious."
"What happened? Why is he with you? How did he get to you like that?"
"Well I was out going to get some more dark magic supplies in town and happened to find him curled up into a ball behind the café where the dark magic place is. When I walked up to him he started running and to stop him before he got into a lot of trouble I knocked him out which should only last for about another couple of minutes nothing bad."
I sighed, "I'm on my way."
Hanging up the phone, Metal Note looked at me with a confused look. I sighed once again, "It was Black Ninja, she found Meow over by the dark magic shop having another PTSD attack and he's on her couch at her home unconscious. I have to go and get him from her before he wakes up. Can one of you guys take my two fillies home when church ends?"
"I'll take them." Divine Oath volunteered, "I'm sorry you have to go."
"It's okay, I'll see you guys soon."
On my way out the door, both Emerald Rose and Comet looked towards me with confusion. "Where are you going mom?" Emerald asked, "The church is this way."
"I have to go get Meow from Black Ninja, but you two are staying here. Divine Oath will be bringing you two home."
***
Knocking on the dark wood door of the wooden home that seemed kind of out of place from all the homes in the Crystal Empire, Black Ninja appeared and hugged me.
"Where is he?" I asked when she let me into her home. She pointed to the couch in her living room, "He's just been here on my couch in that position. He's heavy!"
"Well Ninja, he's a stallion and they relatively have more muscle than a mare does."
"That's true."
"Well thank you for getting him off the street, it's best that you found him when you did. I might start having to take him places with me for a while, just until he can control this."
"Well you can stay here until he wakes up, and when he does you need to go. I have a dark magic thing that has to happen at a certain time."
"Don't worry, I'm just going to head home I'll take care of him."
Black Ninja walked away into her backyard, probably into her shed that she tells no one to go in. At home I sat down by Meow's side softly rubbing her front hoof as he laid there unconscious. He looked peaceful, like the PTSD didn't bother him anymore, watching him have these attacks always pained me. Hearing all about what happened to him in the war... it's just plain horrible. I had heard about them before, and how serious and painful they were to the one who was dealing with it. I'd never imagined that Meow would be the one stallion that I would try to help through it.
