Time marches on.

The training finished just in time for the anniversary of the humans arrival the bolts and the first Gouf suits was the spotlight next to the marine Zaku and Zaku Racer unit the second for civilian use. This also marked the day five new race ways started construction. Ponyville Applefields raceway sponsored by the crown and Apple family who donated the land they can't use for farming, Cherry Hills race way in Dodge Junction backed by a several local farms. The Flim Flam brothers race way, witch also featured magic cart races and a dealership. The Canterlot Royal raceway which was considered the crown jewel of the four in Equestria, also a race way was started in the Crystal Empire called the Crystal Royal Colosseum which would host not just Moblie suit races but also magic cart races, Pegasus derbies, and a center arena for jousting, and other hand to hand combat sports.

Sponsors where being set up to support race teams and pay for the suits. The Apple Family was reimbursed for the land with three of the first Zaku Racers and these suits where on display at the Ponyville ground breaking. Other similar but smaller events happened at the other sites. Many ponies signing up for classes in mobile suit piloting. The next class May was going to have looked to be larger and would be held in Canterlot university.

The crusaders where back in Ponyville running patrols as the bolts took over in Canterlot with six pilots and three alternate they had it easier then Bloom and her friends did. Big Mac and his suit which Pinkie dubbed Little Mac as a joke became a regular site on market day. As he would haul a whole days worth of stall stock in a refrigerated trailer behind it that Fritz sent them to test. The demands for civilian suits and pilots for them was higher then expected. Companies have back orders to the crown for construction suits and Zaku tractors for farms and now local shipping cause the new temperature controlled trailers.

Flim and Flam hated the new mobile suits as they basically killed their market. As the magic carts where nowhere as fast or as strong. But that changed when under orders Fritz came to them with a new design witch they started to produce to give those who can't afford the more expensive personal suits the option of cheaper magic drive vehicles.

The next year saw a jump in their sales as well as the addition of a cart driver and safety school. The surface navy was loving the new ships and submarines. Iron hulls that bounced off the cannons of older ships the pirates use. Faster and able to handle storms that sink lesser ships. The subs can carry six mobile suits and have the ability to stalk pirate ships with out being seen. In the waters around Equestria piracy had all but ceased the few pirates that remained practiced smarter raiding by avoiding newer Equestrian ship as they had a way of calling the navy in. Witch meant pirates where forced to harass ships of other less wealthy nations. It was also at this time the griffon ambassador was sent home cleared of the charges she had hanging over her.

Half way through the second year air pirates have hit similar trouble. As the new Gaw-E (Gaw Equestria) the Gaw-E is a longer larger version of the Zeon Gaw, with a second set of wings and several more gun turrets then the old school Gaw had. That plus new high speed zeplines with stronger guns and carrying three suits. While the Gaw-E carried nine suits or several thousand tons of bombs witch was demonstrated when a very large hydra settled to close to Canterlot so Jay gave the order to bomb it out of the lake. A show that was timed with the a park festival that gave the reporters there with new colored video cameras that have alluded live news to be streamed to ponies cell phones. Jay watched it from the ship its self chuckling at the awe and fear the strategy to drive out the Hydra. It worked better not only worked but sent it fleeing out to the waste land short a couple of heads.

Jay was chastised by his marefriend for such heavy handed tactic but he just smiled and said he went easy on it, if he wanted it dead he would have sent a mobile suit after it. She just glared at him and made him sleep on the sofa. The next day he went to the Everfree no one saw him for a week he comes back out holding a baby hydra with three heads two of which where biting down on his arm. "Hey Tia you seemed upset about how I chased off that one hydra so I got you one for a pet." He smiled at her as his arm bled on the throne room floor. "But first you mind teaching it not to bite me It's gotten thought the chain shirt I have underneath the uniform." Celestia was livid with him and at the same time worried her head off over what turned out to be a two day old bites as the chain shirt kept the heads from tearing chunks out of his arm.

She kept Chompy as Jay called the little thing. Though she now fenced in a section of the gardens for it. At least until it's properly trained.

Fritz finally had his wedding in the winter. The chapel was one big ice sculpture. Diamond and Silver actually served as maids of honor, while Flash who had become Fritz's best friend from working as his test pilot for the suits, was the best stallion and actually combed his mane fore once.

By the second anniversary of the humans arrival the new heavy Zaku was online and it was dubbed the suits that Flash can't brake. The first day he tested that by accidentally walking of Canterlot and falling to ground bellow. the suit was fine and Flash only had a headache. They tightened the seat belts after that. Flash was also banned from the comic shop for a week as that was the cause of the accident.

The day of the second anniversary revealed the new Gouf Heavy Armed type witch was made to act as air defense suits for the bases and cities with support from Zaku cannons. The Heavy Armed Gouf was limited to one set of weapons but that was two fifty-eight millimeter five barrel machine gun hands and a head mounted thirty millimeter machine gun. Jay gave the demonstrations by walking it out and sprays sweeping a large amount of powder filled balloons at the start of the ceremony the sound of chattering gun fire and ringing brass was quite the opener as the event also was the day of the first suit race as well as the revile of the Dom suits which showed up in two groups of three in wounder bolt colors speeding around the track. The crowds watched in awe as the six suits shifted formations rotated around each other and seemed to move as if the track was made of ice. It was site to see and the first races where even better Sweet Apple Acres race team vs the Flim Flam Brothers Magic Motors. The suits where all the same so it came down to the pilot's skills. Which made for a vary action packed and exciting show especially when the suits started to shoulder check and trade punches, the first race in Mobile Suit Grand Prix or MSGP ended in a victory for Sweet Apple Acres race team and thus was the start of what would be a race team rivalry that would come to epitomize the the level of competition at the expert level known as MSGPX races.

The rest of the year saw many events that made big to do in the magazines and news feeds. The Wonderbolts Dom suit stunts and precision piloting demonstrations. Many of the maneuvers impressed the human pilots. The next piece of headlines was the who's who in racing the new magic racing carts Flim and Flam rent on there track had spurred a new interest in the vehicles, but the stars where still the pilots of the Zaku Racers as they trade paint and make sparks on the track.

The last story that made the news threw the nobles in to a fit. Celestia pregnant by the Knight Captain Jay Johnson! It so stirred them up that they called a emergency meeting of the house of nobles. This was to discuss what to do about what some called the human problem in the castle. Unfortunately for the noble houses, Captain Johnson was told by, those that supported his relationship. The house saw two miracles that day the first was Blueblood and Fancypants on the same side in a argument both supporting Celestia's choice most notable Blueblood saying. "Celestia ruled Equestria alone for a thousand years longer then most of us have lived. I think she can be trusted make her own romantic choices."

It was not a hour later that Jay stormed in Philomina on his shoulder and Chompy on a leash with him, he then began to give the house of nobles a piece of his mind. This was the other first while anypony has the right to publicly address the house in session it was rare that it happens much less by one of the subjects of its discussions. This brings us to the second miracle. Jay seemed to be on the war path he cut off one pony and begin to publicly dress down the nobles like a bunch of first year cadets in boot camp. His words where harsh, crude, foul and out right venomous. Several nobles fainted in fear stating he seemed to radiate an aura of fear and malice like at any moment all present would be killed.

What he said was lost to history as the stenographer was one of the ones that fainted, the court artist one Quick Sketch, was able to do her job though and captured the scene. It shows Jay in the center of the hall with a black mass seeming to rise off him with a glowing eye. The hydra snapping at the crowd held back by a taunt leash and Celestia's pet Phoenix her wings spread as it perched on his shoulder seemingly yelling at them herself. The image was on the cover of every major new paper and political journal the next day. The nobles refused to comment and Jay said "If you want to know what I said ask the nobles." and would laugh about it. Celestia had stopped hiding their relationship and announced marriage plans tho no date was set as both worked a lot.

The amphibious suits realised latter that year really made the surface navy happy even if the Zaku marine was no where near as powerful under water or on land as the Hygogg and Z-GokE, both of witch would see production release at years end, it was more versatile having hands and able to do under water salvage. In the first month they used the suits to recover whole ship wrecks and lost treasure that before was deemed unreasonable to recover. This also made the banks happy.

The global scale things where changing. On the political scale policies from Equestria stayed the same. But the griffin empire was in a production swing the in information and models procured gave them so little information that all they knew is how the Mobile Suits looks and a little on how they can move, but how they work was beyond them. So they did the next best thing they could do, make something as close to it as they can using outdated technology. What they built where bulky and cumbersome and outright laughable if it didn't hint that they where a prelude to possible war.

Other nations renewed non-aggression pacts with Equestria and other pony nations. Smaller trouble makers still did stupid things, like a band of Diamond Dogs, that broke in to a Equestrian mine intending to take it and enslave the ponies. This plan fell on its face when the miners turned their Acg units laser torches on the attackers, quickly routing the D-dogs.

Things quieted down till Jay was cornered by the Canterlot press core. They asking him tons of questions. Finally he had enough. "Shut up! Look! I'll give you this and nothing more! One no I will not be writing a book about my world's war. That's something Big Tom is doing not me. Two no I am not telling when, where or who is coming to the wedding after the mess the last public royal wedding was. We will televise it though so the local media centers being set up in every town will allow everyone pony or not to watch it live. Lastly yes humans and ponies can mate one of my fellow humans has several foals with his herd. Oh and no humans males have smaller dicks then male ponies but we have much more stamina then any pony. No get lost you bunch of vultures or I'll feed the lot of you to Chompy!" His speech had been recorded and when Celestia was interviewed on it she was barely containing her laughter about the event.

She was quoted as saying. "He hates having his picture taken and the press cause they, in his opinion are more instead in fiction then fact. He would never have fed them to Chompy thought. He probably just start chasing them around shooting at their hooves." She said with a amused chuckle.

This gave Jay a more dark reputation. But the fact Celestia could not hide her amusement and that she seems happier then ever. Made most common ponies look at him as a good thing, military ponies loved his reforms, and most nobles just hated him for shaking thing up. But all agreed that if he was going to be by Celestia's side for several more years then she would be far more safe. After all who better to protect the princess then the most quick tempered fire brand in the guard?

Fritz had finally done it, the Zaku heavy cannon type was a monster that came out in the third year. Four legs each with a Dom hover thruster made them fast and nimble in open but still stable while firing, the heavy thirty cm cannon from the Zeon Hildolfr on its right shoulder with a cut down barrel, on its left was the federation two hundred and twenty mm cannon also cut shorter but actually coming out of the upper part of the chest, the design of which was based on and modified from the federation assault Guntank. The arms and head where that of a basic Zaku II but with more robust shields on both shoulders and secondary communications antennae on the head. The suits primarily carried pikes or staff axes as melee weapons and hand carried guns ran the gambit from shot guns and machine guns of their lighter brothers to shield gatlings. Bazooka and sniper rifles where deemed too cumbersome with their fixed cannons. The suits saw low numbers as they are mainly for siege warfare. Though some pilots like their smother ride. At the same time the Gouf flight type, Efreet, and Kämpher units also finally saw their roll out these suits sharing deployment wave marked the start of Equestrian independent suit designing as from here on the suits would while still having Zeonic influence are going to be based on the needs and feed back of only Equestrian pilots and battles, further adapting to better use in this new field.

Political tensions hit their peak the fifth year as the first Alicorn class assault carrier launched. Based on the federation white base combined with the Zeon Zanzibar class, this ship held twelve suits and could launch three at a time and was space flight capable. This what caused the rise in tensions as Luna made the the first mission of the new ship to start construction of a Lunar city. Some reasons the other nations didn't like that idea.

The Griffon kingdom was now threatening war. And thus the mane six as ambassadors of Friendship are asked to go visit, with escort and their suits.
