Dramatic exit

At breakfast the next day Rainbow Dash was twitching her wings in a agitated manner, with Twilight looking annoyed as the King sat down the look on his face showed mixed signs of worry and concern. "Is there a problem Princess Twilight?" Asked the griffon king?

"It's nothing of importance but Rainbow was stoped from going on her morning ride in her suit by a guard. Now she's all figgity." Said Twilight.

"Ah... I heard she was causing a fuss in the hanger. Why was that?" He asked ignoring the glare from the pony they are discussing.

"Well half the reason is she is not just the element of loyalty, she is a Pegasus athlete and a wonder bolt. So before the mobile suits where introduced she had a rather surprising amount of training regimen, but now that she is a pilot she has add daily piloting ritual. That and suits are issued to individuals and some even use them as everyday matter. So free access to her machine is something we all are used to. But I understand that with the tension at current you would be more guarded about such things. But I would like to hold the mobile suit demonstration after breakfast, we can talk politics as the pilots you chose feel out the suits handling." Said Twilight putting on here version of Celestia's everything is fine smile 14.

"Of course, it be entertaining to see how one uses a mobile suit to relax." Said The king. This prompted Dash fist pump in the air flapping her wings as she did so.

Mean while unnoticed by everyone Fluttershy slips Gilda a small device as she asked where the rest room was. Gilda showed her the way as she read note with the device.

Dear G Shy is best at being unnoticed so we had her deliver this device to your team. This is a communicator watch. Give it to the your team in the walker we will coordinate there escape.

As Fluttershy exits the restroom she and Gilda sheared a smile before returning to breakfast. "Thank you for showing me to the restroom."

"Just doing my job." Said Gilda

A hour latter. "Come on, unhook the gantry all ready! Why is it locked so heavily any way?" Asked Dash from in her suit as she waited for the gantry locks.

The Griffon engineer shouted back. "There to keep people from stealing it, Lady Dash."

"First it's Lieutenant Dash. Second, that's what the access codes are fore. Third those things wouldn't stop a Zaku one much less a Dom Bolt." Said Dash as her hover engines spun up to speed as the gantry was pulling away drawing eyes from around the hanger.

"The docks are built for our heavy steam suits!" Shouted the Griffon to be heard over the engine noise.

Dash chuckled "That's still to week."

The noise of a the bolts boosters spinning up prompted a shout from a Twilight. "Everyone grab on to something she launching at full thrust!" The griffons near by Dashes suit took to the rafters and held tight a few seconds latter the Dom Bolt was a blur of light and metal as it shot out of the building and on to parade grounds between it and the airfield. "Priest, Wreaking Ball! Go after her so she doesn't brake anything!"

"Yes your Holiness!" Called Priest

Flash sighed at his nickname and said "Yes your Highness."

Both the the remaining Dom and the Zaku Heavy took off on their own hover engines at safer speed but still fast enough to leave the escort crews jaws a gap.

"That speed... but those are the heavy unit's are they not your Highness?" Asked King Goldenclaw unable to hide the hint of fear in his voice.

Pinkies suits now was moving out of its gantry it's quad legs moved with unnerving ease for there size. But once she was clear of the door it's hover engines spun up and she took off shouting. "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Twilight sighed. "Yes the are they are heavy units. The name is referring to their role, armor and weapons. But truth is they are some of the fastest suits on land and in space. But it base it's short comings. There is a reason to use other models of suit. Stealth, tactical flexibility, flight, amphibious capability or combat specialization. Most Gouf suits are best used up close as a example." She answered with a board tone as she was doing final checks. Applejack and Fluttershy stood at the door in their suits waiting for Twilight as Rarity's suit strutted out she raised one arm and snapped the claws checking their where in working order. The eye sliding in its head to look at Applejack's suit noticing the tree planter hand had shifted in to a claw position.

The king settled on to the throne on his personal steam suite. As Gilda and Gabby climbed in to the Goufs with Trixie and Sunset going over the control basics with them. "So you have a wide variety of Mobile suits built for different purposes?" Asked the King shouting so Twilight could hear.

Twilight responded through her suits speaker. "Yes Applejack's brother has one specifically made for farm work, while others are built for every day use or racing or mining or most anything that requires heavy machinery really." Her suit stepped forward and she spoke again. "The Zaku may be where it started but I favor it over other cause of the options it gives you." She started walking out as the Trixie and Sunset started there suits. She opened a communicator channel to the suits. "Is everyone ready? We only get one shot at this."

"We are ready in the kings walker.... but those guards are not going to think twice about firing when we start running." Came Greta sounding nervous as she spoke soft enough that king wouldn't hear her over the steam engines as the walker started out.

"Don't worry the ship is ready thanks to the plan and we are ready out here. Lots of patrols out, so things are going to have to get hot." Called Dash.

"Trixie will keep the rookies safe, it will let Trixie test Trixie's new toys." Said Trixie with to much joy in her voice.

"Watch Trixie this is real this time. No simulations, no resets. It's life or death for us mortals. May the stars guide those souls who are about to lose their life to their eternal rest in the golden fields." Said Priest.

"Greta will wait for your signal. Toss the King and we will move." Said Twilight.

The kings walker and it's guards where the last machines out of the hanger. The test where going seemingly as planned. The king took notice as Rainbow Dash's suit seemed to defy gravity as it jumped and flipped around in the air as if the suit was her own body. Pinkies machine the the Zaku heavy cannon type or Artillery Zaku as it was called by the troops was gliding around like the ground was ice. The other suits seemed to be waiting for something standing about around the place as Gilda and Gabby walked there suits with shaking steps showing clear signs of rookies at the controls as they got their footing.

"The difference in skill is clear." The king said in to a bull horn.

Twilight's suit eye slid to face him "True but they are crash coursing this. Proper training takes a few months for most pilots. Trick piloting like what Dash is doing takes even more training and suits that fly, or hover, or dive take extra training on top of the normal training." Said Twilight. As the kings walker moved forward along with the group though it was shaky. "You sure you would not like to ride in my suits hand? If you primary driver and command are testing the new suits you could get hurt." She asked faking concern.

"It will be fine our suits are more sta-" his sentience was cut off as the walker jolted forward throwing him off. His wings flairing out to catch him self in the air. "What you think your doing watch you step!" He shouted as her turned he saw his walker had broken in to a gallop. Along with the new suits making a run for the air field. The Equestrian suits also moving with them.

Well most of them. "Your highness. I'm afraid that any arranged marriage for peace is not a option. Especially my little niece." Said Twilight prompting the King to look at her suit in time to see the the pimp slap just before it sent him flying.

He recovered in the air again his beak broken. "Traitors! Stop them don't let them escape!" He shouted as best he could in the bull horn.

The griffon forces where in shock at first but then moved to engage the walkers started to charge and fire but this made it impossible for them to hit anything. "Ok girls, time to show them this is not a fight they can win!" Shouted Applejack. As her suit turned on it heal mid step and she drew the shot gun from the skirt rack. She pointed it one of the walkers, the digger tool now acting as a claw hand working the pump as she fired. Much to the surprise of all what came out was flaming buck shot the small spread of flaming iron balls smashed in to the nearest walker blocking there path drilling through it center mass and going clean out the back side of it. The burning and gutted hulk dropped to the ground smouldering. "Lan sakes. Are these thing made of paper?"

"Dash, Flash, Priest, Pinkie, Stop our pursuers!" Ordered Twilight as she stoped drawing the prototype energy rifle from the skirt rack. She spun round and fired on the first pursuit unit the heated plasma particle shot melted main body of the walker leaving the legs to collapse inwards with no body to hold them up. Seconds after that she turn an ran again as the high mobility suits passed by her to act as rear guards.

Dash and Priest lead the charge in two lines. "Jet stream attack!" Shouted Dash with fervor. As she and Priest fired of there blinders the bright light flash was built to over load suit optics but with out the systems to filter it out it was even more effective at blinding there foes. The high mobility suits where moving in two drafting lines forming the infamous jet stream attack witch enhanced the speed of the all ready swift machines. Dash had drawn her swords and hit the enemy lines first. The heat blades sliced strait through the legs of the dazzled walkers toppling four before pinkie rushed by tossing grenades to either side blowing up the last three in in the line.

Priest hit the other line sparing down the walkers as she passed them. Flash was right behind her using his heavy Zaku's arm mounted machine guns to rake over the ones that she had missed in her pass. "This is one sided. Was this what the beginning of the war on your world was like?" Asked Flash.

"No the Federation had weapons that could at least damage the Zaku." Said Priest as the four regrouped to rejoin the others.

Trixie tanked a full cannonade from the griffon walkers on her shield."You fools! I am the Great and Powerful Trixie!" The cape bellowed behind her suit as two pods lunched out from under it they split open and stated hovering above the battlefield. Trixie smiled in her helmet. She was testing the prototype newtype system Fritz set up to work with unicorns from concept he seen in passing on the moon. The hovering drones called Buzzers where laser emitters, and worked on Trixie's will. She pointed her pole axe at the line of walkers and two beams of yellow slice criss crossing the the six walkers slicing them apart and casing the steam engines to explode. "Don't cross Trixie."

In the royal walker was running next to Fluttershy and Rairty, with Sunset behind them. With the two unarmed Goufs. The griffons where shaking as they worked the controls. "Feathers what was that? Magic or weaponry?" Asked Greta

"Who cares what it is, we have other things to worry about!" Said Natalya before a shell struck the walker causing it fall over. "Feathers!"

"Rarity, Shy on the right!" Shouted Sunset as she shielded the downed walker with her suits arms. Snapping to actions with practiced ease, Fluttershy drew her pistols and fired the hundred and twenty millimeter beam magnums reported with swift shots of pink energy piercing and vaporizing the crew compartments of two walkers as Rarity's suits arm mounted beam weapons repeated the action at a higher rate spreading small melted wholes across several walkers one exploding the others just stopping either by fear or vaporized crews.

Sunset rips the side of the down walker off and took the griffon allies in to her suits hand. "You girls ok?" She asked.

"Will live if we get out of this." Called Greta over the coms.

"Ok hang on we are almost there." Said Sunset as she started to run again.

As they drew closer to the ship another line of walkers was blocking the way and two air ships where moving on the Harmony. The ship not being helpless as assumed opened its gun ports and fired a single beam shot igniting both zepplins turning them in to fire balls in the sky. Sunset grabbed one of her rocket launchers with her free hand brought it down and fired a spread of the high exsplovis rockets. The missiles hit ground in and around the line of walkers blowing them over and in the case of one unlucky one, hitting it directly blowing it to pieces. As the suits passed the line Applejack steps on a overturned walker crushing it under her suits foot. The ships hatch slid open as the suits reached it. Sunset was the first up the ramp followed by Trixie and the two Goufs, Applejack was up next with Twilight on her heals. Rarity and Shy backed up the ramp shooting as they covered for Flash and Priest to get on as more walkers started showing up. The ships guns now fully a light sparing a defensive screen. The hatch closed after Pinkie and Dash both jumped on to the upper hull of the ship to give support fire. Pinkie turned her body mounted guns towards the walkers coming from the opposite side of the ship then they approached from and fired here suit jerked slightly as she fire the larger cannon the heat shell exploded covering a large area in a see of flames quickly causing the boilers of the walkers caught in it to over heat the shrill whistles proceeded the thunder of them exploding. Dash stowed her swords and pulled the new bolt caster weapon she was issued. The gun looked stark contrast to other weapons a series of coils and a round ball at the end. She pulled the trigger to build up her shot's power the weapon began to glow and crackle as the charge built up along its length she targeted the new pursuit walkers coming from the hanger they left from. She released the trigger and other was a crack of light and sound the walker she was aiming at exploded from the force then again from the heated up boiler. The ship was now lifting off in to the air and making its escape as Pinkie and Rainbow fired of some parting shots before withdrawing in to the ship.

Some hour's latter, in the pilots bar.

"We're free! We're free! We're free!" Chanted the five Griffon Mollies as the jumped around in a group Hugh.

"You know seeing her like this is kind of cute. Can we keep her?" Asked Rainbow Dash her flight suits half open as she lays across Applejack's lap on a sofa making the mare laugh.

In one corner sofa sat Twilight with Trixie on one arm and Sunset on the other arm both mares nuzzling the Princess as they discussed the first live fire field test of unicorn adaptive control system. Or UAC system for short that Trixie had hidden under her suits cape to control and store the buzzers in her suits back pack.

Shy was tossing back the hard cider at the bar seeming trying to drown what she had done. No one blamed her, she spent more time playing in the simulator then any of them and was the only one that if she wanted could have any suit she wanted based on her score. That also made it shockingly easier for her to actually kill. She just followed her training almost as if it was just another simulation. But now that's it was over all the lives she took weighed on her mind. Pinkie stood behind the bar in a bartender outfit.

Rarity was watching the griffons that had shredded there uniforms and now naked celebrating as she her self was doing her hooves.

Flash was was working poor sap, but some one has to do the paper work.

Priest looked to griffons after she finished her prayers by a wall shrine. "So what will you and your flock do now? Or is it a pride of griffons?"

Gilda sighs "Well if he is stupid enough to invade we will help fight but first thing I want to do after I take a long spa day, is learn to make a mobile suit dance like you all do. I mean you made a joke out of our biggest walkers on mass. They may have been made of paper with how you shredded them."

"They may as well have been. That armor was just straight steel or iron at best. As you saw the armor on our suits is far stronger and our weapons are built to not just fight similar armor quality, but the thicker armor of war ships. The fact they continue to charge after the first few seconds says a lot about your races courage or greed if they did it only for pay." Said Priest

Twilight sighed. "You know this is going to add to the whole Twilight sparkle Celestia's attack dog rumor. I mean seriously, Nightmare Moon, Discord, Crysalis, Sombra, Starlight Glimmer, and now I back handed the griffon king with my Zaku!" She groaned and let her head fall back on the corner sofa she and her mares sat on.

"In your defense I'm sure Jay looks far more the attack dog after the Hydra and Senate incidents. Or at the vary least they see you as the tamed wolf and him as her beast on a leash." Said Sunset.

"Please never mention the Knight Captain as a beast on a leash held by Celestia again. That brings to mind so many unwanted mental images of our former teacher." Said Twilight rubbing her head at the thought.

"Do you think the they would really not sign? I mean I know the young princess is still a foal but royalty have a duty to be married off for peace." Said posh Unicorn mare with golden mane and tail and blue fur in a white gown.

"Oh and who did Cadence marry? Or our own Celestia? Shining Armor was not a royal. While Celestia marrying her human toy is a step up from the common guards that wedding did come with several gains. Her new daughter for one, another Alicorn and the first born in Equestria lands. The added aggressive stance with trade agreements from her husband's handing of royal politics. I must say for someone that rose from a common farmer, he sure knows how to argue for Equestria's fair share." Said a stallion black furred stallion with green mane and tail in blue house coat, before sipping some wine.

Blueblood chuckled "And he knows wine better then most nobles. I am fine with royalty marrying who they like. We all know that it's just a excuse to formally declare war. Then we will remove Celestia from the throne and take proper control of the nation and restore the tribe's to proper balance. The humans might complain but if we treat them well they might no resist when we have control."

"Wouldn't Jay take offense to you deposing your Aunt? His wife." Asked a white furred stallion with teal mane and tail, sitting in a chair with a pipe in his mouth.

"No cause we need them alive. We can't and will not harm the Princesses. There talents are need for proper order in our world. Once we capture her Jay will lay down his weapons so not to harm her. But he will be the major danger when we start till then." Said Blueblood.

The party stopped with a cellphone on a pedestal rang with the old Unicornia anthem. Blueblood answered it. "Hello King Goldenclaw did things wrap up a head of schedule?" Asked the Prince.

The room was quite as Blueblood's face went from happy to surprised to bemused to outright sneering as he lessened. "Well I did warn you not trust those five as they showed vary pony attitudes. But this changes little. I hope your beak gets better in time for the armistice at the end of our war game." He nodded his head "Yes your forces are in place to take the lands you wanted the signal will go out with ours." He paused to lessen then said. "Yes, good bye and hail to the Kings." He hung up the phone setting it back where it was.

"Well what happened?" Asked a yellow unicorn in in pink dress and Sun hat with white and silver mane and tail.

"First I must say that I had no idea Princess Twilight was such a vicious mare. She almost spoiled everything with her temper. She actually assaulted the Griffon king by back handing him out of the air with her Mobile Suit. Broke the poor chaps beak. If she had killed him our whole plan would be up in smoke." Said Blueblood sounding shocked.

"Dose that mean she will be a problem?" Asked the Stallion with the pipe.

"No it will be to late when she gets here. Commence Check mate. Plan a king is needed to rule." Said Blueblood before setting of to leave the party. As he did all the guest took out their cellphones and set one text message.

White king takes black and white princesses.

Blueblood made his way home in his private hanger there was two mobile suit bays one had his Acg it was the same suit he learned in though heavily modified. A more regal paint job one drill arm replaced with a missile pod and on the back it mounted beam gun turret. It also boasted improved hover engines in the legs matching the Zaku racers thrust out put. He has made a good name for him self as a pilot with it but today this would not be the suit he was taking out. No, not on this day. The day the pony tribes are restored to proper balance. He gave the suit a sharp bow. His way of apologizing to perhaps. Many pilot's believe that mobile suits have some kind of soul or mind. They can be given simple verbal commands and some even say they will act before the pilot's react. While every engineer denies it and can explain why that's not true. Some ponies are just too superstitious, Blueblood among them, and believe that on some level the mobile suits are alive. He walked to the second dock that for a year sat covered with a heavy tarp. His magic pulled off the tarp, beneath the tarp was a mobile suit, but not a ordinary one no. A magical powered mobile suit. Blueblood and his conspirators had spent a large amount of money and time to develop them. They had vary angular spiky shape and body made of what looked to be crystals and stone. The head had two eyes and Blueblood's had a pair of wings. The suits where not only powered by magic but required a unicorns magic to pilot them. "Well time to prove magic is superior to technology. No matter how advanced it is." Said Blueblood as he opened the hatch.

Canterlot city Magic Mobile suit rebellion.

While hidden Griffon forces launched attacks across the globe the U.D.S. in Canterlot launched a coup. There was just under a hundred of the Magical Mobile Suits, they rose up from hiding places across the city, privet hangers, warehouses, abandoned or condemned buildings. The guard patrols taken by surprise where the first to suffer, majority panicked as they came under attack. The magic beams would impact on the suits armor and do little damage but with sustained contact the magic beams would melt thought the armor. On the reverse conventional weapons of the Equestrian suits where as effective on the Magic Mobile Suits as they are on any Mobile Suit. But the real problem was the magic beams where devastating against the guard infantry patrols. The magic beams and magic bolts are kinetic and sometimes elemental energy equal to the power fed in to them. But that power in magic is limited to what the caster can channel. But despite these facts the Equestrian guards panicky and skittish nature even after hard training gave the aggressive surprise attack the opportunity to disable several Mobile Suits and infantry patrols where in far worse state.

In the Canterlot castle war room.

The old war room was left to Jay to renovate to better coordinate Equestria's military. He stood over the magic table map, looking at figures made of magic energy appear across Equestria showing forces friendly and enemy units. Contrary to common belief Jay didn't hate magic he just saw it's limitations. Celestia and Luna came running Celestia holding her young daughter in her arms. "Jay! The city is in chaos! What's going on?" Said Celestia in fear.

"Not just Canterlot. This coup is timed with a push by hidden Griffon army units across our borders and from the reports of our scouts and ambassadors, some of our allies are being invaded. But the force in the city are using what report indicate are Magic core mobile suits. This means the enemy's in the city are ponies. Granted they are still attacking the castle but we have contingency plan for this." Said Jay

He walks over to a large monitor following the battle outside. The other ponies in the room pay him no mind focusing on their duties. "We will just have to use plan omega." Said Jay as the image of Canterlot has magical symbol is overlayed on it.

"You wish to destroy the city?" Asked Luna in shock.

"Look again the rune is anti-magic field over the whole city, to last three hours." Said Jay

"That would neutralise all magic in the city! Every pony will be weekend, unicorns will not be able to use their horns, pegasus will lose the power to fly and earth ponies will be weekend. Not even counting the ponies in the hospital." Said Celestia concerned.

"The hospitals are being evacuated to the base's non-magic medical facilities. It's why I insisted on direct access to it from hospitals. But that will take time. So till that's done and you two have the spell to ready and we have to hold out till then. I am going to take the field, I already ordered the mobile suits to regroup and the infantry to fall back and pass out the anti-MS launchers. We can hold them but once the field is up its just a matter of cutting them out of the shells and locking the criminals up for trial." Said Jay as the screen showed the plan in place.

"Are you sure you need to go out there?" Asked Celestia worried.

He gave her a hug and kissed his Daughter. "Don't worry I'll be fine. These are fools that think they have a advantage. I will show them how wrong they are." He starts to leave then stops. "Oh by the way Twilight assaulted the Griffon king with her Mobile suit. I have the incident report saved to review at dinner. It was great, well not great she started the war, but it was great seeing that prick getting bitch slapped out of the air." He added laughing as he left.

"My student started the war?...." Mumbled a shocked Celestia Her daughter giggled at her mother's face.

"I shall get the spell ready meet me in throne room to cast it when you snap out of it sister. Our brother in law is refreshingly reliable." Said Luna.

Five minutes latter below the city.

"Your suit is ready sir." Said a younger earth pony engineer.

"Don't call me Sir! I work for a living!" He barked at the colt making him jump. Jay climbed in the hatch and started up his Gouf flight type. He sighs as he starts up the systems. The camera flickers on showing the the cat walk and gantries pulling away. He moved his suit forward the heavy foot falls vibrated through the machine. The troops, crews, and other pilots looked on the sight of the Knight Captain's machine marching out to fight. The eye shifted left and right. "What in the nine hells are you foals standing around for! We are at war and traitors are attacking the capital! Move like you got a purpose you worthless lay abouts! Or I swear any one not doing their job will be cleaning up after Chompy and Philamina! For the duration of this war!" He shouted and like a bolt of lightning every one was running and shouting. He chuckled at the troops. "The whole race needs a heavy dose of self initiative. Nice to know they are fast to rally though." he thought to himself.

Battle of Canterlot city streets.

"What's going on why has the advance stalled?" Shouted Blueblood

"The Royal guard have all ready recovered from the surprise attack and have begun coordinating their defence and the infantry have started to attack us from alleyways and houses. We also are seeing nobles and citizens with mobile suits helping the guards or out right attacking us." Said the other Magic Mobile Suit pilot.

"What the other ponies are attacking us!? What happened to our declaration of Unicorn liberation?" Asked Blueblood puzzled.

"A modified neon painted civilian Zaku was running around using a some kind of shoulder mounted sonic weapons and a dropped guards heat axe. They targeted any MMS broadcasting the speech." Said the Unicorn

"Never mind. We take the Canterlot Castle this is over. Push forward!" Shouted Blueblood, he spread the wings of his MMS and took flight.

As the battle raged on for over a hour street by street. The Royal guards ambush the rebels then fall back. But as they near castle the suits began to change from mostly zakus with shotguns and hand guns, or gouf heavy arms types, to heavy Zakus and zaku artillery supporting efreets and some Kamphers using there numerous weapon racks to bring up fresh guns. All the while citizens pilots dogged and harassed the U.D.S. rebels from behind with small bands of infantry or isolated guard suits.

Jay's appearance was expected and he was avoided as much as possible but what was not expected was five Dom Bolts atmos dropping from Luna's flag ship in orbit the five bolts where in a alternative colors of the wonder bolt markings instead of blue and gold it's was black, purple and silver. They came down on special made shield wing shields that are built for suits to ride on in reentry, then can be used as flight boosters or enhancers in atmosphere or high durability shields on the ground. The five Dom Bolts are the Shadow Bolts suggested and trained by Jay as Luna's elite pilots and a second special task force dedicated to Luna like the Wonder bolts are to Celestia. The five had been on Luna flag ship putting there space training to field use, the entry wings where also on it to be tested by remote. But given their Princess was in danger the Shadow Bolt squadron commandeered the prototypes and gave them a live field test. Dropping in from space catching the rebels by surprise and boosting the Royal Guards Moral, as the five suits raced through Canterlot streets in a five suit jet stream attack pattern plowing through any rebels they saw. The lead Dom Bolt had a heavy large heat axe called a grosses beil (said Gross bell) and carried it's entry wing locked on its back, the suit behind it had its wing in shield mode and carried a hand gun, the next suit had wings locked on its back and carried a beam bazooka, the fourth suit had the wing on its back as well but had a normal Dom sword in one hand and 120mm machine gun in the other, the last in the line had the wing in shield mode on its back But had two arm mounted 5-barrel machine guns on each arm and a axe in each hand. The five move as one in a fluid stream through the streets.

By the time Jay had caught up to Blueblood over a park near the castles west gate little over fifty of his rebels suits where left. "I know it's you Blueblood. The speech your forces tried to play at the start of all this had your name all over it." Called Jay over the loud speaker of his suit as he pointed his sword at the other flyer.

"Really? Was I that obvious?" Asked Blueblood tilting his suits head as the two circled.

"Honestly? For a pony no. But by human standards you had basically hung a sign around your neck, saying I want to rule the world. Also your a blatantly tribest, and classest. But I give you credit for all the effort and planning you did. I'm sure a lot of ponies never thought you had it in you." Said Jay before he made lunge at Blueblood who barely avoid the sword strike.

"I guess I should be flattered. Even as backhanded as it was that is high praise coming from you dear uncle." Said Blueblood launching four magic missiles at Jay all of witch where shot out of the air with what seems like practiced ease.

"It was. But I'm afraid your plan was failed from the start." Said Jay as his next attack was parried by Bluebloods own Sword.

"Oh? How so?" Asked Blueblood as his sword thrust was dogged by Jay with drop in thrust putting him beneath Blueblood who then had to quickly dive left to avoid a counter strike from below.

"Well for one you didn't get in enough flight combat practice but more importantly you never thought to check if we had a plan to mass counter magically powered Mobile Suits." Said Jay as he landed seeming to be taking a rest.

Blueblood tired from magic strain landed in front of him but out of sword reach. "And what would that be?"

The aura of terror seemed to start leaking from Jay's Gouf as he spoke the next words that alone would make any Unicorn's blood chill. "We are deploying a city wide anti-magic field."

"No!" Blueblood shouted eyes wide in fear he turned his suit towards the city's ledge and took flight.

"I'm afraid it's far too late to run. It's time for you spanking nephew." Said Jay right before a swirling wave of blue and gold washed over the city and bluebloods MMS, causing it to tumble from the sky and crash hard in to the ground cartwheeling head over heals and coming to rest face down in a trench it dug its self in.

Blueblood was in pain not just from the crash though that definitely didn't help matters. The anti-magic field apparently gave unicorns a migraine when they tried to use their horns. He groaned as he lay their in his crashed Suit. Then he heard it. Thump, thump, thump. Foot steps large heavy foot steps of a mobile suit. He struggled to exit his suit but dread set in. His team never designed a way to open the suit with out magic! He was trapped helpless before a experienced and trained killer who's wife he just tried to over throw. Fear deeper and more primal then any he felt in his life sunk in. He was trapped alone helpless in the dark of what may as well be his coffin. Then his suit was moved.

Jay sheathed his suits sword then reached down and grabbed Blueblood suit by head. He lifted it up slight crushing the head partly then he began a slow steady walk back to the castle the grinding of the MMS stone body on the ground mixed with heavy steps of the gouf flight type as it walked. Blueblood was near panicked what was his fate to be? Was he to be thrown from the city? How far did the anti-magic field go if he was? Then Jay's voice broke the silence. "Celestia will be so disappointed in you to say nothing of how Luna would feel. Though I my self am cross with you for this stunt, I will tell you right now while it's just the two of us. What you did as stupid and egotistical as it was, took planing, organization, and a whole lot of guts to try. And despite being your enemy today, I'm proud of you nephew, you grew up became strong and convicted. I respect you for it. That's why I will insist on a hard punishment. I know you can't respond from in there with field up. So I'll tell you something my Daddy told me. And yes I know you never new your father and mother. My father told me there is a secret about a father's love. It's a love without end. No matter how much a son or daughter gets in to trouble or how mad they make them a father will still love his children. Celestia said she raised you as her own. Even if you are our nephew by legal terms that makes you her Son and mine. Granted it's a silly way to see it. But I am proud of how strong a leader you became and respect you for trying even if what you did is wrong. Now when we get to the castle, no whining no crying, be the stallion you showed your self to be, not just for your self but for those who followed you. Got it?" Jay continued the rest of the way in silence.

In his suit Blueblood had to admit he was touched by Jay's wards the human always seem to try and be at least neutral with him and now he new why. So alone in the dark he let out his tears not of frustration at loosening but, well he didn't know what they where tears of, but they where tears for what Jay had said. By the time they reach the castle he had composed him self and was looking presentable even if he had some bleeding from the crash.

The suit was tossed on its back heavily then the chest ripped off. Blueblood climbed out to see both his aunts, his young cousin in her mother's arms, and a line of armed guards a glance over his shoulder showed Jay's MS gesturing to other troops at work. Figuring he had said his peace. Blueblood put his hands up and walked to his aunts. "I take full responsibility for the coup. It was my plan after all. It has failed and I will accept any punishment with the dignity of a leader."

Luna and Celestia where stunned, no whining, no blame shifting, no trying to get out of it. Celestia finally broke the silence. "You may lower your arms nephew, I must say it's refreshing to see you take responsibility for your actions."

"Well uncle Jay had some words for me when he easily defeated me. I guess they sunk in plus the last few years of actually putting in effort to make this happen. I guess some bad habits set in." Said Blueblood lowering his arms.

Luna grabbed him by the collar. "Don't think for a moment that this means you will escape punishment. I'm sure there is a nice spot in hedge maze for a new statue." Growled Luna.

"Sister, I think both you and I are too close to the matter, and too emotional to pass judgement on him. At least at the moment. Guards Jay has standing orders for the prisoners yes, take Our nephew away." Said Celestia the tears in her eyes threatening to break lose.

Blueblood accepted this and went with no protest head high with dignity his conspirators that had been being rounded up near by watched in amazement at the show of dignity and decorum he possessed making many of their own shouts of indignity and out rage look silly and foolish.

Jay existed his suit after a few more orders and walked to Celestia. "He really grew up I think. Still a dumbass, but he is taking responsibility. That's good sign."

Celestia hugged Jay braking down and crying. There young foal spoke up. "What wrong Momma?"

Jay rubbed his daughter's head. "It's ok my little princess, you Mom has had a hard day is all she just needs to let it out."He said to her hugging Celestia as tight as he could.

Luna marched over to the rebels still being processed in the yard. "Look at what you ungrateful whelps have done! A thousand years she has protected this nation on her own doing my job and hers while I was banished and now when our nation is prosperous you stab her in the back! Count yourselves lucky that under Jay's advice we are not going to be the one's deciding thy fate! Or you would all be statues going to the moon to be placed in my garden!" Her rage made the rebel ponies cower and even the guards watching them looked nervous having to stand between the prisoners and a enraged princess.
