The trial was decided to be held as soon as the chosen representatives arrived. The military Representative was Ensign Pierre D. Lafayette, government representative was Lord Fancy Pants, and the people's representative was a mare by the name of Powdered Rouge a Citizen who while a Canterlot Resident was not in town when the battle took place. They sat on the bench as the ninety seven members of the U.D.S. That participated in the attack and two hundred thirty six unicorn of the group that participated in the organization and set up of the attack. In a chair next to the defence lawyer was Blueblood. Who was surprising all of Canterlot by standing up and taking the full weight of the blame as the leader of the coup d'état. "I know they all acted against the crown but, I ask that I as their leader I solely baer the ful blunt of the punishment." He sat down waiting judgement.

The judges talked quietly amongst them selves. "That's quite the one eighty he's made. But we can't let the others of scot free." Said Fancy.

Rouge sighed "Well I know the people are calling for hard punishments to all off them."

"They are all getting punished but, Blueblood is taking the blame for the plan as a leader. So we will bring the hammer down on him hard and give a lesser punishment to the rest." Said Pierre.

After group nod Pierre stood to speak. "Blueblood, while we respect your integrity to stand up for your follower and take all the blame. That said all other members of the U.D.S. Will be stripped of their Mobile suits, and license, ranks of both nobility and military where appropriate, they will then be forced to pay or physically help with the repairs to Canterlot. Blueblood, you your self shall keep mobile suit license, but lose your rank as Prince and all property but your Acg, and will serve twenty years of hard labor as mobile suit labor pilot on the moon as part of the construction force earning minimum wage. Once the mandatory time of labor is up you will not be allowed to return to Equiss, and will remain on the moon. Any employment after the twenty years will be up to you to secure on your own. Do you have any last words before the court?"

"I thank you for being merciful on those that followed me." Said Blueblood.

Pierre slammed the gabble. "Then court is adjourned. Guards take them back to there cells till their turn for a member of the department of corrections to inventory their finances and set the amount of reparations to be paid, and Blueblood will wait for the Shadow Bolts to escort him to HLV to take him there team to orbit to rendezvous with the Alicorn class ship Luna's Grace there you will be confined to the brig till you reach the moon." Two more slams signaled the guards around the room to start escorting the prisoners to their cells.

Town town former Equality Cult settlement before the arrest of Starlight Glimmer.

The griffons had dug in the mountains where they had hid. Bellow the pony guard unit of the small town. Had them pinned for the second day now. The Griffons though it was a good places to strike from a small settlement on the edge of the nation borders. But their two thousand troops and one hundred steam suits where decimated. Of that force only five hundred griffons remain with five steam suits with them. But what was the worst part was it had been just six Equestria Suits, one Gouf heavy arms, three Zaku two Js, one Artillery Zaku, and a Zaku one snipper.

The assault on the first day was a rush, griffons charging down the hills ponies screaming and running. They had just reach the edge of the town when the sky erupted as the gouf that was stationed there hidden from sight opened fire the sound and sight cause the Griffin infantry to turn and fly for the hills. This mistake, was what made its a massacre. The other suits rose from what was fake rocks and hills that they keep them in so as to not undo the style of the town. The suit firing on the steam walkers crawling down the mountain side picking them of with so much ease that the only reason the have five left was case they hadn't started down. Now the Grffons sat in there hiding place turned bunker shaking as the four legged zaku pounded away at them for a second day the steady thump then explosion of one cannon then the other some seconds latter had them fearing the mountain falling on their heads. But all that took flight where shot to shreds by the gouf or vaporize in a beam of light by the snipper. It was to a surprise when Pegasus with silver mane and tail and dark blue coat flew over and dropped a scroll.

Dear Griffons
Your friends in Canterlot failed and have been arrested your forces are for all intent and purpose have been broken and have no chance of winning. We here by offer you a option to surrender by order of Prince Knight Captain Johnson, any Griffon or group of Griffons at any time appearing unarmed under a white flag, scarf, rag, or strip of cloth or any garments on a pole or waved over their heads will be taken as prisoners of war and treated fairly under the Equestria combatant detainment laws. This includes, three meals a day and a warm bunk, and rewriting materials to let loved ones know your are safe. The Griffin leader looked at his remaining troops huddled together around cook fires as the thunder of that artillery unit pounded the mountain. "Everyone! Bring out every piece of white cloth you have and all the sowing tools. We lost they offered us a way out alive and I will take it for us. Sow all the white cloth in to a giant sheet and hang over the side of the trench so it sprays out over the mountain side. We are surrendering!"

The troops looked at each other and set to work at speed the steam walker crews abandon there machines to help with the flag. None said a word but all had a look of relief.

Hour later in the artillery Zaku a Red earth pony stallion with blue mane was board. It was fun at first getting to pound the mountain side with cannons. But now it felt dull and the fact of several hundred Griffons trapped under it. "Hay there is a cloth unrolling on the mountain." He called over the com line.

"Hold fire. They are surrendering Units two, three, five. Escort them down. Every one else stay on guard." Said his Commander.

Los Pegasus combat zone day 2 of war.

The combat zone was out side the city as the force that was deployed here by the griffons had taken the build up to the war to properly entrench and set up artillery that had enough power do to size to actually damage or stagger a mobile suit. When the signal started they used there suits to bombard the city killing many ponies and destroying buildings. Now the battle was bugged down Equestria Suits of the local defense force and guard militia of Los Pegasus where trading long range fire from ruined buildings with entrenched Griffon troops.

Stalliongrad massacre day two.

A formation of white Doms slid over the snowy ground in snow storm of the northern front in a wedge of nine suits. The Griffin while they had a the largest infantry detachment on this front had believed the lie that mobile suits where only just a step above steam power machines and assumed wrongly that if their suits had trouble working in the cold climates the Equestria Suits would as well. That said they did have air ships on the first day for all of five minutes. The Stalliongrad had embraced the mobile suits and Doms tuned to cold climates where eighty percent of the thirty two suit defense force with just two teams of cold adapted Zaku heavy cannons. The battle was one sided, that was a understatement the lines of griffons where shattered by mobile suits armed with anti-personnel warheads and bean sprays. Now the second day they had order to round up surviving griffons for detainment. "Sir heat source on right on thermal." Called one of the pilots.

"Ronger that comrade, For crown and harmony. Bring the cat birds in from the cold." Said the officer.

"Yes sir." Three Doms broke off through the snow.

A Griffin regiment was huddled around a fire in the snow. "How they get the armor to run in the cold like that!" Asked one griffon in a navy uniform.

"Must be the dragon stuff they buy. Supposed to burn like the sun when refined. Or made they work better in different extremes." Said a griffon in a artillery uniform.

Then came a humming noise in the snow. Then the glowing blue eyes of three Equestria Dom's before the griffons could take to the air the Doms had them surrounded. "Greeting comrade griffon. You look cold. We give you choice throw down toys, and come with us, get warm beds and food. Or try and run or fight and we send you to next world where you not need worry about snow and cold. So what you say, comrade?"

The griffon looked at each other then tossed there guns off in the snow.

The team leader chuckled. "Never met a griffon that couldn't see good deal. Climb on the suits hand we take you to new vacation home. Even has hot coco."

Clouds Dale.

Cloud built cities for obvious reasons can't have a large mobile suit force, and the few that they do get require flight capabilities as well as a permanent cloud walking enchantment, that said the griffon army was clever using air ships as gun platforms for their steam suits to fire from, and the second largest griffon infantry force. The attack was though to be a easy battle. But the Pegasus military training tradition ment that any Pegasus that can fight had to go for basic rifle training as tradition requires all Pegasus of age completely standard basic training. This and the introduction to civilian militia rifles witch as well. While not full auto they are semiautomatic or high powered bolt or lever action rifles.

The battle had lasted only a few hours the first day the two Gouf flight types stored in the clouds had made short work ok the ships sending them down in flames as every Pegasus in the city turned out with light infantry armor and the militia rifles even with out full auto the guns that fired faster, with every citizen firing at a mass of troops in the open it was scary and effective.

The second day was teams of police leading civilian fighters rounding up all the wounded survivors and other griffons that could not have fled.

Not all places do to resource restrictions had suits most had police and or guards with modern rifles and other weapons. That said most the smaller attack groups had at least one or more Steam Suits. This ment that despite victories against the larger deployments in major or important cities and or supply points. There was still many griffon forces holding ground in Equestria.

One outlier was the town of hallow shades, town of theshals in the deep woods and while a Luner guard recruiting center it also held there, what most call the nightmare cult that had actually expanded its pantheon of demon God's after a member in the guard talking to a human had heard the idea of "If Luna can become Nightmare Moon, who's to say all Alicorns if given in to their every base desires and emotions can't also transform?" That comment by May had sparked a referendum in the cult. They take the view that The Princesses hold back their true form and power the strength of young born Alicorns Flurry Heart, Cadaince and Shining Armor's daughter and Aurora Flame, Celestia and Jay Johnson's daughter, highlighted this idea. This belief took the cult in a new direction "Any pony can ascend as proved by Celestia's student Twilight, and that a true form of our races can be reached in ascension but even before that we can tap in to our true power!" The battle in Hallow Shade was going as expected the town had one zaku J and two civilian suits held against several squads of Steam Suits. The griffons looked to over run them before the Night Scream appeared. A female Threshal that indicated a ritual to awaken her true form to fight the invaders.

The result was horned female Threshal twelve feet tall, billowing mane and tail of darkness, red fur. The Night Scream broke the griffon ranks as she and the temple guard of the cult waded through their ranks crushing them under hoof or green pools of magic sucking them down. She ripped the cannon out of a steam suits and preceded to beat it to scrap with it. The battle of Hallow Shades was done the day it started. When the order from Canterlot to take prisoners was given the garrison commander reported the event. The mare that was transformed was order to Canterlot for appraisal and the ritual that created her and all that participated and know it to come as well. This was also denoted as the creation of the dark magic core, of witch the responsibly to study and use of restricted and or outlawed magical arts. Night Scream for her sacrifice of a normal life in what as of now is a permanent transformation is granted noble stats and the rank of major. At Luna's requests the Nightmare cult has agreed to conduct any further research in to the art as part of the D.M.C. And all resident's of Hollow Shades agreed that as matter of national security will not divulge the truth of the event. There where twenty six requests of transfer to the D.M.C. two hours after its establishment on day two of the war, all have been found to be Nightmare cult members in guard ranks.

Jay upon learning this and granting the request subject to take effect after current operations requesting personal are involved in are complete. He also said on court record. "Doesn't matter they are crazy cultist if they still love and fight for our nation. Just means we have to keep them on shorter leash. After all one untrained mare took out a column of troops and a walker bare handed. So why not use it when we can. I'll put them under Twilight's control as her and her mages, all have some Dark magic experience."

Second day of war Canterlot HLV port

"Geez you girls hear what happened in Hallow Shades? And ponies Saud our orbit drop was crazy idea." Said CPO Indago Zap, the Pegasus mare had cream color fur with orange eyes and two tone blue mane and tail, as she leaned back in her chair, waiting for launch.

Blueblood raised a eye brow at the comment.

The light blue unicorn mare with pinkish red eyes, and had purple and pink hair cut short, PO1 Sunny Flair replied. "You mean the D.M.C. first action? Yeah crazy that the cult actually did something so crazy it worked. Now they actually have legitimacy."

"Do you two think talking about this in front of the prisoner is wise?" Said the other Pegasus, blue fur, purple eyes, with silver white tail and mane in long ponytails. Ensign Sugarcoat, demolition specialist, as she adjusted her glass.

Then the earth pony with purple eyes, pale yellow coat, with pinkish purple with a like green stripe tail and mane in a medium ponytail, PO1 Sour Sweet, said "Now why would that be a issue." She said in sweet tone then with a lot of venom added, "After all he is just treasonous scumbag, that we should toss out a air lock with out a suit of any kind." She glares at Blueblood.

The earth pony mare next to Blueblood was blasting music in her head phones bobbing her head as her yellow and green hair that reached matching tail, her eyes where yellow and her fur pink. Much to his surprise she replied. "It's not problem if he knows, he will be sixty feet beneath the moon's surface digging for the next twenty years when not locked in a five by eight cell." Then she looked at Blue blood and smiled "So I think we are free to say anything we like, cause he will never have any one to tell about it till it long after its irrelevant." Said Lt. Lemon Zest.

The other laugh. Then the pa cuts on "Ladies and horseapple please make sure all but Blueblood are locked in their seats we are about to launch and I want to say his restraints failed and he was at least injured on the way up." The girls snicker at him but Lemon made sure he was locked in his chair.

"We are ready to launch." Said Lemon.

"What do you mean, your ordering twilight to hold till the seventh fleet arrives?" Asked Celestia.

"Just that though if you waited for my order to finish she will also be waiting for the white bear squadron, dashes bolt team, the D.M.C. assault trooper Night Scream and her team, the forth boomer wing and the third paratroopers. So they can attack and capture dagger reef cove witch has the griffon mane fleet. With it out of the battle we can have control of the sea lanes and cane use it as beach head to counter attack." Explains Jay.

"Why would we do that? We just have to drive them out and we win." Said Celestia.

"Oh and what stops them from attacking again? Or to continue attacking?" Asked Jay

"Why would they do that after we won?" Asked Celestia.

"Cause he's insane." He turned to the monitor witch had Twilight watching nervously. "Twilight please tell Celly what you told me before she walked in."

Twilight fidgeted then spoke. "Guilda and the others confirmed that the King Goldenclaw killed his father to take the throne and will only stop the war if given a Alicorn bride. In short he will either conquer Equestria or have a Alicorn as a wife. He even planed to stab Blueblood in the back. If it helps I agree with his plan. We need to stop the war fast."

"If we don't have a beach head we have to do a orbital drop on his head and even mobile suits are vulnerable doing that tactic in mass. You know that from simulator." He said with neutral face.

"But why would he do to that to his people?" Asked Celestia.

"Why any tyrant dose it. They don't care. Unless it effects them it doesn't matter." Said Jay.

Celestia walkers over to her chair and sits down looking at map showing Griffon and Equestria flags.

"I never though I'd regret I didn't hit him or anyone hard enough when I did but them." Said Twilight on the screen making Celestia gasp.

"I agree if you had killed him then we wouldn't be in this mess now. But live and learn, next time you shoot your way out shoot the soon to be enemy's leadership." Said Jay.

Celestia growled and said "That is a horrid lesson to take from this."

"I love when she makes that sound. Even if she is mad it's hot to hear her growling like that." Said Jay making the staff either blush or chuckle.

"Ok on that note I have a assault to plan." Said Twilight before cutting the line.

"Hehe, send her message that's recommend a pincer attack from land and sea. With the troop and supply list." Said Jay as he walked to Celestia.

The operator nodded, but said nothing.

"It's a bad, week isn't it?" Said Jay as he hugged her.

"Why is this happening?" Said Celestia.

"Honestly, it's probably my units fault." Said Jay

Celestia gasped and then pulled him in to a hug. "Don't you dare blame this on your self and your friends. You did nothing but try and help us." Said Celestia pushing her husband in to her fur.

Jay chuckled enjoying his wife's embrace then spoke. "A friend of mine once said. That if God in the bible exists and did make us in his own image, then he is a God of war and death. As humans are only the most inventive when we try to kill each other. Know look what's happened we find a world almost a paradise and try to give our technology to its people and what happens war."

"Wrong the greed and jealousy of a mad griffon and our adopted nephew caused this not your people's presence." Said Celestia before kissing him to stop him from arguing with her. When the kiss broke the stained into each other's eyes.

A cough got their attention as both looked to the screen to see Spike blushing with his marefriends giggling behind him. "Sorry to interrupt Mom and Dad but, I saw the battle feed and figured I'd ask if you want any one from Ponyville deployed?"

Without untangling from Celestia Jay spoke. "Send Big Tom and Sofie out to do as they please. They will be able to handle them selves just log their plans in. As for the crusaders who I know are their with Fritz worrying about their sisters, tell them they will be fine. If they want to help run suit patrols to in Ponyville to free up teams to launch sorties. Tell May that she is keep a eye or t for infiltration teams but she can stay with Maud, I won't ruin her honeymoon especially with how much that potion cost her and Maud." The sound of pounding hooves was heard of screen.

"Ok, Dad. I mean Sir." Spike gave a sloppy salute and closed the line.

"He needs to actually get some training in, his salutes are so crooked." Said Jay.

"Your one to talk mister insurgent that joined a real army with only two week basic training and crash course in piloting." Teased Celestia.

"Ok, ok, back to work I guess." Said Jay

"No. I need my huggy toy till I feel better." Said Celestia nuzzling Jay. This would happen when she was in bad mood she just take hold of him and not let go like a child with stuffed toy.

"Then you will have to carry me around as I work. There is still a war to win." Celestia then stood up and carried him to see the latest reports from the recon teams.
