When a Combine teleporter prototype goes haywire at Nova Prospect, a four member fireteam from the Combine Overwatch get badly injured and have to fight their way to safety.

Daniel Joseph McAllister, a rifleman, is one of those soldiers. What will happen to the team of killing machines when they get two unlikely companions from a world much different from theirs and have to work with them? Hopefully they can get along. With Daniels memory restored from the teleporters break down effects he seeks vengeance on the Universal Union for what they did to his planet. Time goes on and they find more allies along the way that help them in their quest for answers and revenge. Do they have have what it takes to stand up against the countless foes that lie in their way?
