Apple Bloom doesn't feel special because Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon keep telling her that she may never find her special talent and earn her cutie mark.
But Fluttershy knows what it's like to have somepony pick on you and tell you you're not special. So she takes Apple Bloom to the Butterfly Grove where it's full of magic.
