Lavender Bloom is your typical Earth pony trying to make a living in Equestria. He works at the Canterlot castle as a groundskeeper in order to make ends meet. He, like many other stallion bachelors, sometimes fantasize about Celestia and the possibility of “spending a night” with her. He knows he probably doesn't even have a chance with her, but it doesn't stop him from dreaming. On one particular night, he runs into Celestia who is looking to blow off some steam after a long day of work. However, their encounter becomes something much more than either of them were expecting.
