I had to kill, I had to steal, i had to deal, to make a living, working full time at a Starbucks, I had to eat nothing for dinner sometimes.

The main plot of MAH:OBS Is where a guy, who had a low life, Doing things he shouldn't have done, and had to work full time just to make a living, gets dragged into a whole thing where a couple of ponies wind up into his dimension, but forcefully, had to take him. he was given a new chance, a new life, a clean slate. it was up to him to make the right decisions so he could be able to live in the town correctly.
