Equestrias Darker side

Vito awoke the next morning to the sound of an argument. He got up out of bed and walked down to the kitchen and found Lyra arguing with another pony that had a tan coat with a purple and pink mane. She had what appeared to be three pieces of candy on her flank.

"I don't care what you say Bonbon he's staying with us, nopony else is going to let him stay with them!" Lyra said angrily.

"well that's not our problem is it!" Bonbon said. "I should just report him to celestia right now!" She shouted to Lyra.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Vito said walking up right behind Bonbon. Bonbon jumped and backed away in fear. "I may not know who this Celestia is but I will not be captured and thrown in a prison" he said dangerously. "If I see you going to the authorities I will have no choice but to kill you" he said gravely. "I do not wish for it to come to that" he stated. "Lyra do you know where I can find some work?" he asked turning to the mint unicorn.

"Well what are you good at?" Lyra asked.

"Well I was a mafia member back on Earth"Vito told her.

"Whats a mafia?"Lyra asked curious.

"Well the Mafia is an underground crime world"Vito told her. He spent a good hour or so explaining how the mafia dealt drugs, ran a human trafficking ring, and occasionally killed people for money.

"That sounds a lot like Derpies mob!"Lyra said excited. "I could take you to see her"she said. "maybe she would be willing to hire you"she began to turn towards the door.

"Sure Ill talk with this mob boss"Vito said to Lyra. "However this one needs to come, so I can keep an eye on her"he said pointing to Bonbon.

"Why do I need to come with you?"Bonbon asked fearfully.

"So I can make sure you don't go to the authorities"Vito said calmly. " On another note do you have guns or am I stuck with only the bullets I have on me for now"he asked Lyra.

"Well of course we have guns silly" Lyra said almost laughing. "How else do you think we take care of business in the crime world?"she said.

"Ok lets go see this Derpy and see what they can do to help me"Vito said with a tinge of irritation in his voice. The trio walked out the door and immediately disaster struck. Several guards stepped into view. Vito reacted by drawing his pistol. It was a Colt M1911A1 American made. It weighed 2.44 pounds. It fired a .45 caliber at a muzzle velocity of 825 feet per second. And it had a seven round clip. He took up a firing stance he learned in the military. This caused the guards backed up a little.

"Human you have been ordered to surrender peacefully by Princess Celestia!" One guard said stepping forward.

"I don't think so now leave I don't want to kill any of you but I will if I have to!" Vito said loudly.

Before anyone could react a group of unicorns stepped out of a nearby shop. They all had SMGs pointed at the unicorn guards. The unicorns opened fire on the guards. Within thirty seconds the guards had all been gunned down they lay in a heap in the middle of the street. The first unicorn walked up to Lyra and asked. "What did you do this time to get the guards after you?"

"Actually this time they were here for the human not me Skull Cu." She said pointing to Vito. "We were just headed to see if Derpy has any use for him." she said to the dark brown unicorn.

"Alright well see you to her safely." Skull Cut said gesturing to the other two unicorns. The group began walking towards the center of town. As they walked Vito began to wonder what had just happened.Does this world have a side I haven't really thought about before. Those unicorns just mowed those guards down without a second glance. I hope this Derpy has something I can help with.
