A New World And A New Start
A Blinding Flash

I smiled as my little workers hustled around my chair. A few years ago I found the formula to life, a year it took me to find how to harvest it and a year to find how to use it. Now I had enchanted my little clay models. As so I was the world’s smartest person at an I.Q. of 194.8, Einstein’s was 167. I never did share this with the world, I was a bit camera-shy. Suddenly, a small explosion was heard down stairs as another failed experiment was dubbed “yup that’s gone.” My favorite little clay model, and my smallest, was a tiny wolf/dog that was currently sleeping on my lap. She gave a tiny yawn as she woke up on my leg, her little raspberry tongue sticking out.
“Mama? What experiment went kaphooe again?” She asked in the absolutely cutest tone ever.
“#1,285. The replicater. Probably put to much utonium in it again.”
“Oh, did you try atomic waste?” Blueberry asked, Yes her name was Blueberry, she was very smart about an I.Q. of 170.
"Yes but it doesn't want to cooperate." I replied gruffly staring at the basement door, where the window was currently covered in ash, angrily.
“Are #18 #20 #30 #31 #10 and #56 ok?” She questioned.
“Yes, remember I used your clay to make them? So they probably lost a limb, but it’ll grow back as quickly as when you lost the bottom half of you.” I said chuckling slightly at the memory.
“Yah I remember, I totally freaked out, I even thought I was going to die! But it freakin' grew back like lightning! That’s when we discovered that we could use my clay to make workers, like #56, and we won’t have to keep making new ones. Like when we lost #’s 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and #8. That was hectic.” She said happily.
Then a knock was heard at the door, I quickly sign language to Blueberry “Get them in the basement” She nodded with a salute. She let out a flurry of dog barks and all of the 6 inch clay people hustled into a doggy door on the basement door after unlocking it.
“Ahem” I murmured before saying loudly, “Quipy! Into my room! You have to stop barking at the mailman!” I added in a commanding tone, putting on a cover for Blueberry. It was what we did when people came over.
“Package delivery for ‘Kelly Mille’,” The mailman called. Yes! my atomic mixer is here, my project can finally be done. I thought gleefully while getting up and brushing off my clothing.
“Coming!” I called in a sing-song voice. I rushed over to the door my long hair trailing behind me in the air. I opened the door to Freddy the mailman. I only knew his name due to his nametag. “Yes?” I questioned, even though I knew what it was, though he didn’t know what it was due to the fact it came from a private nuclear company.
“A blender for Miss Kelly?” He said in a friendly tone with a smile.
"Oh, yes, thank you good sir! My garden can be complete!" I said happily with a gleeful smile as I signed the paper. He handed the brown cardboard box to to me as I gave him the signed sheet.
"Have a nice day ma'am."
"And to you." I replied before closing the door as he turned around, walking down the pathway of my large front yard. I walked back into my house heading towards the basement. My home was powered by the sun's energy so I needn't pay power bills. I lived with no property taxes because they were prepaid for a few centuries. Yes I was immortal, I discovered this after I was blown to bits by a failed experiment. I believe it was one of the potions I drank mistaking it for a soda. I hate when that happens, it usually ends with me using one of my powerful healing plant's berries. I own a hospital company that found the cure to cancer, a plant I made named Hallinea cucumacusa, or for short Holly cumber. Holly Cumber is actually a plant that makes cucumber-like veggies that if you eat raw will kill un-needed cancer cells. I reached to the basement door breaking my thoughts. Entering I said,
"It's safe to come out. Have brunch, there's meatloaf in y'alls room's food keeper you could cook in the microwave." A murmur of happiness spread through the crowd of tiny multicolored people. "Oh and also you have the day off just put your stuff up and you are dismissed." They broke out in quiet, happy cheers before hustling towards the tiny clay people's storage area before heading towards the 7 inch tall 6 inch wide door in the wall to the left. As soon as the room was empty of clay people, I walked over to the wall and pressed a blue button which opened up cracks around the working areas and then sunk them down below the floor. I then pressed a blue with sparkly clear gems button and in place of the work areas were a couple sphere-shaped seats and a couch that wrapped around the room. A thin rectangle opened up in the celling dropping out magenta a rug then a flat-screen tv lowered down to hang from the cealing. soon after a few more changes the room had a small eating table, a phone from the wall, and a large in the wall fish tank.
After sitting down my box in the closet under the stairs, I walked over to the phone and called my friends from the company we owned called K.A.A.S. (Kelly , Abigail, Ayrienne, Sarah.) they may be my best friends from 6th, 3rd, and 6th grade but they were also the only people who knew how intelligent I was. (Short description: Ayrienne was a normal sized young adult, Sarah was cubby, but not fat, Abigail was lean and I was a normal young adult size.) I invited them over and they all, thankfully, said yes after I said it was important. They used a teleporter I gave them and teleported to my basement, where I currently was. Once they were all here I spoke,
"Thanks for coming guys, I called you urgently because I needed to tell you that my newest experiment was completed, it could give eternal youth to any living creature, and I tried it on a small calf (baby cow) and it didn't harm it and it never aged in the weeks following nor did it ever get harmed so I wanted to try it on us. Since I know your the only people trusting enough to hear me out without freaking out. So, what do you say?"
"Sure!" Ayrienne replied after a millisecond's thought, she had know me since 3rd grade and we were already 27, so she trusted me the most.
"Ok, why not." Sarah added a second after Ayrienne.
Abigail gave the most thought, "Okay." She said finally in a happy, satisfied tone. We formed a circle around the center of the rug in the middle of the room, I felt a disturbance in my hair and felt a tiny paw press against my neck. Blueberry's in my hair, I thought, well at least she can give us some entertainment afterwards. I pulled a small remote-like device from my pocket and configured it to 5 creatures, largest and nearest. Once done I muttered,
"Here goes everything." Then absolutely everything turned completely white as a pressed the activate button I quickly closed my eyes tightly, but a blinding flash pierced through my eyelids and pain immediately pressed down on me like a crushing anvil. A felt my bones move and crack, my liver slip, my skull change shape torturously, a tingling was felt on my back through through the pain and then I felt my bones on my ribs in the back begin to grow a tiny extra bone before piercing through my skin and continue growing though no blood was drawn it hurt like bloody hell it's self, satin was probably envious of the torture I was going through. A bone suddenly went through the top of my head piercing the skin, but I felt no more as a blacked out from the pain thinking, I must be going to the after world, goodbye my wonderful life.
When I began to take grasp on half consciousness, I heard a noise......
