The atmosphere of the city of Detroit was still and peaceful. At the Autobots warehouse base everything was quiet but tense.
Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, was the first one to break the dull atmosphere.
"Any Allspark fragments or Decepticon activity?" he asked anyone who was listening.
Prowl, the Autobots ninja and master strategist, answered, "No, not even a spike" he replied.
Bulkhead, the Autobots muscle and great fighter, was the next one to speak: "Are you sure the scanner is working?"
"Of course, it's working boltbrain" replied Ratchet, the Autobots medic and technician.
"Are you sure you didn't connect something up the wrong way round?" asked Bumblebee, best friend to Bulkhead.
"If I had I wouldn't be..." Ratchet was interrupted by an alarm from the scanner.
It interrupted Jazz who was meditating, he was a member of the Cybertron Elite Guard.
"Hate to say it but 'told you so'" Bumblebee said.
"Where is the signal coming from, Ratchet?" Optimus asked,
"It seems to be coming from the power plant" Ratchet replied, checking the readouts.
"Finally, some action" Bulkhead said, who had became so bored that even an Allspark fragment was enough action for him.
"Right let's go" Jazz said, he was a bit tired of doing nothing,
"Alright, Autobots, transform and roll out!" Optimus said, and with that Optimus and the other Autobots transformed into their vehicle modes:

Optimus Prime into a fire truck.
Bulkhead into an army truck.
Bumblebee into a yellow police car.
Prowl into a police motor bike.
Ratchet into an ambulance.
Jazz into a sports car.
Once they had transformed into their vehicle modes, they all drove off in the direction of the power plant.
Elsewhere in their old mine base, Megatron and his seven Decepticon troops: Blitzwing, Lugnut, Starscream, Starscream's clones: Thundercreaker and Sunstorm had also been alerted to the fragments location.
"We must not allow the Autobots to recover the fragment first" commanded Megatron, the Decepticon leader.
"Yes master" Lugnut said, the Decepticon's muscle and lieutenant.
"With the fragment's power we will.." Blitzwing began, his face switched to his aggressive face, "crush the Autobot scum into dust!" he said, before his face switched again, this time into his insane face, "then fuse the dust into glass and shatter them all over again!!!" he finished, with a maniacal laugh, before his face switched back to his first face.
Starscream, the Decepticon's second in command, rubbed his hands. "With the fragment's power I could destroy Megatron and became the Decepticon leader" he thought to himself.
Being a clone of Starscream, Thundercreaker represented Starscream's Egomaniac side, "The Autobots puny weapons are nothing compared to my weapons" Thundercreaker said to himself, whereas Sunstorm represented Starscream's Sycophant side "Brilliant observation, brilliant" he praised Thundercreacker.
"Enough talk" Megatron said, "Decepticons, to the air!" he barked.
Like the Autobots, Megatron and his men had their own vehicle modes:

Megatron into an alien helicopter.
Blitzwing into a fighter jet.
Lugnut into a bomber jet.
Starscream, Thundercreaker and Sunstorm all shared the same Harrier jet mode.
When they had transformed, Megatron and his men flew off as fast as they could to find the fragment before the Autobots.
Meanwhile Optimus and the other Autobots were nearing the fragment's location,
"Something doesn't feel right" Prowl said as they got nearer,
"What do mean Prowl?" asked Optimus,
"Its quiet" Prowl replied,
"Yeah too quiet" Jazz finished.
As Jazz ended what he was saying, the road in front of them turned to ice. Optimus and the Autobots had no time to stop. They quickly transformed back into their robot modes and looked up to see Blitzwing in his jet mode came flying straight at them.
"Well of course, it had to be you Blitzbrain" Bumblebee said.
"The name is Blitzwing remember it, insect!" Blitzwing said in his angry face voice, as he flew over the Autobots heads.
Blitzwing was followed by Starscream and Lugnut who attacked one after the other.
Starscream started firing rapid blasts from his Null-rays.
Lugnut attacked by firing his two massive atomic missiles.
"Megatron will crush you" Lugnut growled, as he and Starscream continued their assault. Lugnut, Blitzwing and Starscream transformed into their robot modes.
Optimus and the other Autobots engaged their attackers. After an hour of solid fighting, Optimus and his team were getting nowhere.
"It's like they're here only to slow us down" Ratchet said, using his magnet weapons to send Blitzwings attacks back at him.
"Yeah, no matter how many hits I land they won't go down" replied Bumblebee, using his stinger weapons to somehow blind or knock Starscream off balance.
"Maybe you're just not hitting hard enough" Bulkhead cut in. Bulkhead, being the strongest of the Autobots, was using his wrecking ball arm and managing to land some powerful blows on his attacker Lugnut. But Lugnut retaliated by landing some equally powerful blows on Bulkhead with his power mace weapon.
"How long can you keep this up, Autobots?" Starscream smirked, as he saw that Optimus and the other Autobots were beginning to grow weak.
"Long enough to do this" Ratchet said. Again, he fired his magnet weapons; Bumblebee fired his stingers at the same time, both the magnetic and electrical energy merged to make an EMP blast which hit Starscream, rendering him for a short time immobile.
"Lugnut, report" Megatron's voice sounded inside Lugnut's head.
"Starscream is hit and we are out numbered" Lugnut answered.
"Get Starscream back online and join me at the power plant" Megatron's voice replied.
"Yes, master" Lugnut finished and turned to Blitzwing, "get Starscream online and follow me" he commanded.
"Right, it would be wise to go and help Megatron" Blitzwing replied. He ran over to the immobile Starscream, "rise and shine" his insane face said as he shook Starscream.
"I'm online, you downgrade!" Starscream yelled, as soon as he was able move his limbs,
"Megatron commands us to assist him in finding the fragment" Lugnut barked,
"Then we must go" Starscream said and he, Blitzwing and Lugnut transformed back into their vehicle modes and rocketed off towards the power plant.
"We have to follow them" Optimus said, staring after them.
"Yeah, and fast" Jazz replied.
Optimus and the rest of the Autobots tranformed back to their vehicle modes and drove as fast as the could after the three Decepticons.
At the power plant, Starscream, Blitzwing and Lugnut landed, transformed to robot mode and joined Megatron, Thundercreaker and Sunstorm in the main reactor room.
The Allspark fragment was lodged in between two of the reactor cooling rods. As the three Decepticons entered, Megatron turned to face them,
"Ah, Lugnut, just as loyal as ever" he said,
"I live to serve you master" Lugnut replied kneeling before Megatron,
"Yeah, well groveling aside which one of us should do the honors of collecting the fragment?" Starscream cut in. He was getting a bit annoyed at Lugnut praising Megatron like he was a god.
Megatron turned to his second in command, a smile on his face "I was just waiting for you to volunteer, Starscream".
"Oh this is an honor, Megatron" Starscream replied, starting to get overly confident.
Thundercreaker and Sunstorm stayed quiet, they knew better than to question Megatron's orders.
Starscream stood in close to the main reactor trying not to dislodge any of the cooling rods, which he managed with ease.
Once the fragment was dislodged, Starscream handed it to Megatron, "Now we must return to our base to power up our space bridge" Megatron commanded.
"Stop right there, Decepticons!" called a voice.
Megatron and his men turned to see Optimus and his team blocking the exit.
"Hand over the fragment nice and easy" Jazz said, drawing out his energy chucks,
"Sorry, but I can't stop I'm late for conquering Cybertron" Megatron said. He fired a blast from his arm cannon at the roof of the power plant, knocking a ton of debris on top of the Autobots.
"That should hold them for a while" Megatron said. He and his men tranformed into their vehicle modes and rocketed off through the hole Megatron had made.
A few seconds after they had left, Optimus and his team managed to dig themselves out of the pile of debris they were trapped under.
"We have to go after them" Optimus said,
"How? They could be anywhere" Bumblebee said,
"I think I might know where they went" Prowl said after some thought.
"Where on earth would they possibly go!?" Bumblebee shouted,
"There's an old mine shaft outside the city, that's the only place I can think of" Prowl replied. He was used to his teammates being a little stupid.
"Right, let's go! Prowl, you lead on" Optimus said,
Prowl made no reply but transformed into his vehicle mode and zoomed off.
"Hey Prowl, wait I'm your leader!" Optimus yelled after him.
Optimus and rest of his team quickly transformed into their vehicle modes and rushed off after Prowl.
Back at their mine shaft base, Megatron and his Decepticons were putting the Allspark fragment to good use.
"Allow me to do the honors of powering up the space bridge, lord Megatron" Starscream said, bowing before his leader.
"You may, Starscream" Megatron replied, a bit surprised that Starscream hadn't turned on him.
"Why are you giving him that job!?" Thundercreaker cut in, "with somebot of my genius I should be the one to do it"
Thundercreaker was met with a murderous look of anger from Megatron. He quickly backed down, Sunstorm made no comment.
Starscream placed the fragment into the space bridge's generator. The machine immediately sprang to life, it began to hum with energy.
"Input the coordinates for Cybertron", Megatron commanded,
Starscream obeyed typing in some commands on the space bridge's computer.
He pulled a lever and the space bridge portal activated.
"Decepticons, we are on the verge of absolute power" Megatron said, turning to his loyal soldiers.
"Our takeover of Cybertron is nigh" Starscream said.
"That's far enough, Megatron!" cried a voice.
Megatron and his Decepticons turned to see Optimus and his team.
"But how?" Megatron said, shocked that the Autobots had found his base.
"Let's just say that we had a hunch" Optimus replied,
"No matter! Blitzwing, Lugnut, Thundercreaker, Sunstorm, destroy them all" Megatron barked.
Megatron turned to Starscream "protect the space bridge" he commanded.
"At once" Starscream replied, he began firing null-ray blasts at the attacking Autobots.
"We'll fight till the last spark to stop you, Megatron" said Optimus as he and Megatron engaged in battle.
"Such a waste of life" Megatron smirked as he dodged Optimus's Ion-axe attacks.
After few minutes into the fight, both the Autobots and Decepticons were almost at a standstill.
"You're not taking over Cybertron, not while I'm still standing" said Optimus defiantly. He hurled his Ion-axe at the space bridge control panel.
The panel sparked and fizzed. An alarm sounded, "He's damaged the space bridge transport control" cried Starscream.
"So now what happens!?" asked Bumblebee, he was panicking.
"I have a feeling we may just find out" Optimus replied.
A wave of energy erupted from the space bridge it hit both the Autobots and the Decepticons.
"Arr, I'm feeling kinda funky in my processor" Bulkhead said,
"We're beginning to fade away" Ratchet cried, seeing that his hand had began to turn to nothing.
Optimus felt his muscles going limp, "Am I dying?" he asked himself.
What was happening to the Autobots was also happening to the Decepticons.
"Starscream, what is happening!?" cried Megatron.
"I have no idea, Megatron" Starscream replied. Then he noticed that the Allspark fragment was fading as well. Starscream tried to move his limbs but they had gone limp too.
"Getting...dizzy" was all Optimus could say before his vision became darker and darker, the base fading before his eyes, his strength depleting. Optimus, his team, Megatron and his Decepticons all fell unconscious, succumbing to the unknown force.

“Ughhhhh…” Optimus let out a groan, just starting to recover from his bizarre experience.
"Prime, are you OK?" Ratchet's voice asked.
"Well Ratchet's OK" Optimus told himself, still unable to see, "but what about the others?"
"Is Prime going to be OK Ratchet?" Bumblebee's voice asked.
"He got hit hard but nothing serious" Ratchet's voice replied.
"My servos are coming online; I think I can open my eyes" Optimus thought. He slowly did so, only to be greeted by a very different place to the Decepticons mine base. He was in a really dense and musty forest, the trees closed in on all sides. A small hint of sunlight shone through the trees. Bumblebee and Ratchet were standing over him while Prowl, Jazz and Bulkhead looked on.
"What happened?" Optimus said getting shakily to his feet, "where are we?"
"I don't know but it's not Detroit" Bulkhead replied.
"Uhh Bulkhead, I think he's got that part" Bumblebee said.
"How did we even get here?" Optimus asked.
"Has to have something to do with that blast of energy from the space bridge" Ratchet replied.
Optimus suddenly noticed that both the Decepticons and the fragment had vanished, "Where are the Decepticons, where's the fragment!?" he asked looking around quickly.
"They're probably somewhere else" Bumblebee replied.
"For now, we need to find out where we are" Prowl cut in.
"Good idea" replied Jazz.
Just as Jazz ended what he was saying a howl echoed through the forest.
Bumblebee jumped, "You guys heard that, right!?" he asked.
"It's coming from over there" Optimus said. Suddenly a pair of lime green eyes appeared from out of the trees and a bad smelling dark green mist accompanied them.
"What is that?" asked Bulkhead, he was becoming as scared as Bumblebee.
"And what is that smell?" asked Bumblebee, covering his nose from the smell.
The pair of eyes was joined by another and another until the Autobots were surrounded.
"Get ready, Autobots" Optimus said, he drew his Ion-axe out again.
One of the creatures stepped forward so the Autobots could see what it really was.
It looked like a wolf except that it's whole body was made of wood. The creature growled and threw itself at Optimus knocking him to the ground.
"Hold on, Prime!" Ratchet cried, he tried using his magnets but they had no effect on the creature.
Bumblebee tried using his stingers, they too had no effect. Annoyed by the stinger blasts the creature turned away from Optimus to face Bumblebee. It raised one of its claws ready to strike.
But before it could attack its claw was sliced off by one of Prowl's bladed mecha throwing stars.
With a look of surprise on its face the creature fell onto its side and broke into pieces.
"Fascinating" Prowl said, looking at the remains of the creature, "it appears to be make entirely out of wood".
"How was the wood being held together?" asked Ratchet
"It was being held together by some sort of energy" Prowl replied.
"Do you think that was the only one?" asked Bumblebee.
"I don't think so" Jazz said. He was right. All the other pairs of eyes moved forward. They, like the first, were also wolves made of living wood.
"Why couldn't it be a Decepticon?" Bumblebee muttered as the creatures closed in on them.
"Leave these to us but do what you can" Optimus said as he, Bulkhead, Prowl and Jazz drew out their weapons and engaged the creatures.
Optimus using his Ion-axe made quick work of the creatures that surrounded him. As did Bulkhead using his wrecking ball arm shattering the creatures that also surrounded him.
Prowl and Jazz worked as a team to take down their attackers. Prowl threw another of his bladed mecha throwing stars to disable the attacking creatures, while Jazz finished them off with his energy chucks.
"Nice team work, Prowl" Optimus said after all the creatures were destroyed.
"Something tells me this isn't over yet" Bulkhead cut in.
"What makes you say that?" Prowl asked,
"That" Bulkhead said, pointing towards the shattered creatures lay. The pieces had began putting themselves back together but not into their isolated wolf forms. All the pieces combined to form a much larger wolf it towered over the Autobots.
"Well this is new" through Optimus,
"What kind of screw-loose planet has creatures that are made of wood and can do that!?" cried Ratchet,
"Whatever planet this is, it definitely isn't earth" Bumblebee replied.
"Stay focused" Jazz said.
"Right, we attack all at once, on three" said Optimus, not that the wood creature could understand him.
"Right, one" Jazz said, readying his energy chucks,
"Two" Prowl said, readying one of his bladed mecha throwing stars,
"Three!" cried Optimus, using his Ion-axe to shattered one of the creature's back legs. While Jazz kept the creature occupied, Prowl shattered the creature's front legs with his bladed throwing star; his weapon cut through the creatures limbs like they were made of butter. Once the creature was disabled, Bulkhead finished it off with a powerful blow from his wrecking ball weapon.
"Well, that was fun" said Bulkhead, after he had shattered the creature.
"Now what do we do?" asked Bumblebee,
"There must be a settlement of some kind on this world" Ratchet replied,
"Right, we should just follow this road" said Jazz, pointing at a dirt path that ran straight ahead of them.
"Right, let's transform and roll out" Optimus said, taking the lead he transformed into his fire truck vehicle mode.
The others transformed and set off behind him.
Twilight Sparkle was on her way to visit her zebra friend Zecora who lived in the thick of the Everfree forest. She was about to enter the forest when some strange objects came zooming towards her. She had never seen objects like these before and they were rocketing straight towards her. Luckily for Twilight, they screeched to a stop in front of her.
"Excuse me" asked the leading object, "my name is Optimus Prime, me and my friends are lost. Can you assist us?"
"Don't be stupid, Prime" a scarlet and white object cut in, "this organic can't possibly talk"
Twilight was about to answer when a huge explosion followed by a equally huge shock wave caught the object's attention. Twilight looked up to massive ring of rainbow colours with a striking trail for rainbow racing across the sky. Twilight knew who it was.
The yellow and white objects seemed to be awestruck,
"That was soooo awesome" the yellow object mumbled,
"You got that right" the white object replied.
The leading object seemed more concerned, "I've never seen organics pilot planes like that" it said,
"Decepticons!" the scarlet and white object replied.
Without another word all of the objects rocketed off following the rainbow trail. Twilight galloped as fast as she could after the objects, she didn't know what the objects were but she knew that they were going to hurt one of her friends.
"We're gaining on it" Jazz said,
"Man, this one's fast" Bumblebee replied, "I bet this Decepticon could give Blurr a run for his energon",
"All that matters is taking it down" Optimus said,
"Right" Prowl replied, "it seems to be slowing down",
"Yeah, and I'm getting some weird readings" Jazz cut in,
"What do mean, Jazz?" asked Optimus,
"My scanner says that this thing is organic" Jazz continued,
"Impossible, no organic can fly without the aid of technology" Ratchet cut in, "that space bridge energy must have messed with your sensors",
"Unless..." Optimus trailed off as the memory of Elita-1 surfaced; Blackarachnia, as she was now called, had been a friend now turned a techorganic enemy, "could this flying organic be Elita?" Optimus through to himself. Then he remembered what Elita had said to him: "It'll be a long time before I ever trust another Autobot. Especially you, Optimus"
"Right" Prowl said, slowing to a stop, "the Decepticon seems to have stopped"
"Right" Optimus replied, snapping back to reality, "Autobots transform and attack!" he commanded,

Optimus and his team transformed to their robot modes and used their weapons on what thought to be a Decepticon.
Their target dodged every attack with ease, then it rocketed straight at Bumblebee, knocking him to the ground.
Now that the target wasn't in the air Optimus could see what he and his team were fighting. It looked like the creature they had run into outside the forest. But this one was different, it was coloured light blue and it had rainbow coloured hair. Optimus had noticed that the other creature had something resembling a horn on its head. The creature that they were fighting had wings. But he didn't have time to think about that, because the rainbow creature was now rocketing towards him.
Optimus held up his Ion-axe but the creature quickly knocked it out of his hand, then with another powerful strike it knocked him unconscious.
"Prime!" cried Ratchet, he ran over to his fallen friend but he to ended up being knocked unconscious by the creature.
Prowl, Jazz, Bulkhead and Bumblebee tried their best to avoid being knocked unconscious by the flying creature. but it wasn't long before the creature manged to knock all four of them unconscious.
"Ughhh ow" Bumblebee out a groan just starting to recover from his experience.
"Rainbow Dash, are you alright?" an unfamiliar female voice broke the silence, ignoring his moan of pain.
"Oh course I am, Twilight" another voice
