Rainbow Dash was tied to a large board with ropes, and Pinkie was holding a bloody scalpel. "What the hell?!" Scootaloo exclaimed, terrified. Rainbow yelled towards Scootaloo. "HELP!" Scootaloo had to act fast. She scanned the room until finding a butchers knife. She attempted to throw it at Pinkie, but she dodged. It did serve a purpose, though. It broke Rainbow free from one of her ropes. Pinkie reached for the knife, but Dash grabbed it first. She then jabbed it into Pinkie's neck. Pinkie uttered a disgusting gargling sound as blood began to erupt from her mouth. She collapsed to the ground, revealing to Scootaloo that she had colorless eyes. Rainbow cut herself free from the rest of the bindings. "Scootaloo! You came here just in time." Rainbow Dash ran over to hug her, revealing where she had been cut and where the blood on the scalpel came from. Rainbow's cutie mark had a small incision, but it was still attached to her. "Listen, Scoots. We have to find the others... we have to save our friends."

"I hope none of the zombies get us." Shining Armor said to Twilight. "Zombies? What?" "Just what I like to call 'em." They heard footsteps behind them, prompting them to turn around. They were glad to see who they saw. It was Luna, with normal eyes. "There you are! I'm glad you aren't corrupted... I can't say the same for..." Small tears welled up in her eyes. "Luna?" "I can't say the same for... Celestia or Cadence." Shining and Twilight gasped simultaneously. "They're both gone?" "Y-... yeah." They all sat for a moment to take that in. "Listen, we have to get the town out of here! I know of somewhere safe. In Appaloosa, they were lucky enough to have barely any death bringers." "That's a WAY better name." Shining Armor remarked. "Help me round up the citizens and get them there, ok?" Twilight and Shining nodded both at once, and ran off. Just feet outside of the castle, Twilight found a non-corrupted citizen. "(Lyra) Heartstrings?" The unicorn nodded back at Twilight, who said to her, "I need you to get somewhere safe. Wait in the castle, Luna is there to protect you. I will find more citizens." Without a word, (Lyra) stepped inside the large castle. She decided next to check Fluttershy's cottage. Even if she was a death bringer, she wouldn't kill anyone... right? *** Shining Armor wasn't so lucky. He found a filly, Sweetie Belle. He walked up to her, trying to comfort her. "Um... Sweetie Belle, was it? It's just me. You're ok." Sweetie turned around, revealing a knife. Her eyes were closed. "Uh... is that to defend yourself?" Sweetie laughed. "Sorta." She swung the knife at Shining, making a gash deep in his left front hoof. "Ah! What the hell!?" Sweetie opened her eyes to reveal the green from her eyes was gone, like the other death bringers. A wicked smile took over her face as she deepened the large opening within his hoof. Blood was erupting from where the cut was, his bone had been exposed, as well as other muscles and veins. Shining Armor screamed in pain as he brought his hoof backwards with a swift movement. With his healthy hoof, he ripped the knife from her hand, but didn't make a move. He ran away, as he thought perhaps she could be healed. He was tripping as he ran, but he fell down entirely as he saw what had appeared in front of him.

They were wearing themselves out, especially because of the weapons they were holding. Pinkie had more than a big arsenal, and the two pegasi took as much as they could. They made a wild guess that Applejack wouldn't be a Death Bringer. Upon arriving, they noticed the place in shambles. The barn was missing boards, planks, supports, and everything it could be missing some of. Rainbow noticed something out of the corner of her eye. She didn't examine who, but she knew it was a pony. She grabbed Scootaloo and hid by the nearest bush. Scootaloo stayed down as Rainbow Dash examined. "Apple Bloom. Clean." She pulled Scootaloo from the bush and they both galloped over to her. Apple Bloom noticed them charging towards her, and uttered a shriek. She grabbed a twig from the ground to defend herself. "We're ok. Look at our eyes!" Scootaloo pointed out, speaking swiftly. Apple Bloom noticed the color, and dropped her weapon. "Girls... I need your help! PLEEEASE!" Apple Bloom asked, making puppy dragon eyes. "Yeah, we'll help... what's wrong?" Rainbow Dash asked, confused. "Well, um, I wanna go to Manehatten to save Babs!" She blurted out quickly. "Manehatten? She might be a Death Bringer, though!" "Yeah, but what if she's not? I want to take the risk." Apple Bloom was willing to be stubborn if it meant saving her cousin. Rainbow Dash admitted to defeat with a sigh, "Fine, fine. But we have to get the others first!" ***

Upon arriving at her castle, she lightly knocked on the door 3 times. She heard some footsteps approaching, and the door swung open. "Oh, Scootaloo, since you're here, could you PLEASE help me?" "What's wrong, Twilight?" The princess sighed in tiredness. "Spike's been acting up, could you hold him back while I search for a cure?" "Ok, Twilight. Whatever you say." Scootaloo walked inside to see a raging Spike charging at her. "Woah! Get off!" Scootaloo proceded to hold Spike away from Twilight, even though it was a difficult task. Just when she thought Spike had calmed down, he bit Scootaloo's hoof. "Ahh! Spike? What the heck!" Scootaloo grabbed Spike's hands and threw him to the other side of the room. Twilight's eyes widened, and she spoke hurriedly to Scootaloo, "Come on! We have to go!" Twilight grabbed Scootaloo by the hooves and put her on her back. Twilight took off in flight, the filly on her back. "Twilight! Can you take me to Rainbow's? I had a bad day at school." "Alright, Scootaloo. Just know... if you see a pony with their eyes colorless, run." Twilight dropped Scootaloo off at Sugar Cube Corner, where Rainbow Dash had said to Twilight she'd be.
