Equestrian Warriors

Twilight was flipping through pages of a book, looking a little bored. She yawned, using her magic to put the book back in it's original place of the shelf. Twilight walked away from the book stand, heading towards the door. Once she opened it, she was tackled to the ground. She rubbed the top of her head from the impact and slowly opened one eye.

"Gumdramon?" She questioned, blushing a little when she noticed he was on top of her.

Gumdramon however didn't take light to it and quickly slammed the double doors to the library close. He turned, covering the doors with spread out arms, and quickly ran over to the couch. Twilight was about to say something, but was interrupted when Gumdramon lifted the couch over his head and placed it in front of the door. "And just for good measures." He said, turning the lock on the door.

Twilight walks up to Gumdramon. "Gumdramon, can you please tell me what you're doing?"

Gumdramon puts his hands on Twilight's shoulders. "Twilight! You have to hide me!"

Twilight pushed his hands off of her shoulders. "What? From who?" She asked, looking worried.

"Gumdramon! Where are you!" A familiar female voice called outside of the castle.

Gumdramon's face quickly went from scared to down right terrified. "HER!" He yelled, running under the couch. He was shaking so violently that the couch did as yell.

Twilight walked towards the window and opened it, sticking her head out, to see who he was hiding from. She had a questioning face when she saw Pinkie Pie waving one of her hooves in the air. "Pinkie Pie? What are you doing?"

"Oh, nothing. Me and Gumdramon were just going to talk about our wedding and future foals." She replied with a huge smile.

Twilight's face was now pale as snow. She turned around to Gumdramon, closing the window behind her with her magic. "G-Gumdramon... are you and Pinkie... dating?" She asked, almost on the verge of tears.

Gumdramon quickly popped half of his body out from under the couch. "What?! No! We're not dating, she just started talking and acting like this."

Twilight sighed in relief, wiping the tears forming in her eyes. "Thank goodness." She whispered to herself.

"What'd you say?"

"Nothing!" Twilight quickly replies. "I-I mean, do you know why she's acting like this?"

Gumdramon taped his chin, trying to think of a reason. "I'm not sure. One moment she's waving to other ponies, but when she starts to wave to me she became crazy for me. Did she act like this earlier?"

"No. I mean, she saw you leave the well this morning, but didn't act different. The only thing weird that happened was that she was bitten by a bug." Twilight said, pacing back and forth across the room.

"What's so weird about that? People get bug bites all the time."

"No, that's not the weird thing. It's the fact that there were no bugs in the area and I think I heard a weird sound before she got bitten."

"What did it sound like?"

"I'm not really sure, I think it sounded kinda like a quiet explosion."

Gumdramon tried thinking of what it could be, but he just shrugged it off. "I got nothing."

Suddenly, Twilight got a huge smile on her face. "I know!" She stated proudly. "We can ask Zecora, she knows almost everything when it comes to mysterious occurrences."

"What, you mean the zebra that lives in the Everfree?"

"Well, yeah. Why?"

Gumdramon quickly hid under the couch again. "No! I can't leave the castle! She'll see me!" She quickly shouted, shaking the entire couch again.

Twilight silently giggled into her hoof, using her magic to move the couch back to it's original position. "Don't worry Gumdramon, I'll just use a spell to make you invisible."

Gumdramon was about to grab the couch again, but stopped after that statement. "Wait, you can do that?"

"Of course I can, what do you think I read all day... comic books?" She asked, trotting pass him.

"Wait, this place has comics?" He asked, quickly following her.

The window in the library started swinging until a pink hoof grabbed the stool followed by a second one. Pinkie's head popped up, her eyes filled with anger. "Twilight, you just made a BIG MISTAKE!!!" She yelled with fire in her eyes and steam coming out of her ears.

She turned to the reading. "You can tell I'm really angry because I used three exclamation points." She said, smiling.

"Where was I? Oh, right!" Pinkie said out loud, making the same angry face from before. "Gummy-Wummy will be MINE!!!" She yelled, laughing maniacally with both fore hooves in the air. She then just started levitating to the ground as if she was on an elevator, humming the MLP FIM theme song.
