I Just Dont Know What Went Wrong
Goodbye for Now
Previous ChapterShe walked into her house to see a worried filly.
"Mom. Where were you?" asked Dinky. Dinky tried to hug her mom, but Derpy moved away.
"Don't come by mommy." Dinky was hurt by these words.
"Why?" she asked, starting to cry.
"Mommy's a monster." Derpy said, crying.
"No you're not! Why would you think that?" she said crying and angry.
"Listen to me. I just need some time to think. Who's your closest friend at the moment?" Derpy asked her daughter.
"Probably Apple Bloom." Dinky said. She was scared and confused to what her mom was going to say next.
"Okay. I want you to go pack your things. Im going to ask Applejack if you can live at the farm for a while." Derpy didn't want to do this, but she had too. She was a monster and she didn't want to hurt her daughter. She needed time to be alone.
"MOM! NO! I WANT TO BE WITH YOU!" Dinky shouted, trying to stop her mom.
"Go now." Derpy said sternly, tears escaping her eyes again.
Dinky ran upstairs, and cried while packing her belongings. Derpy called Applejack. Applejack said of course, and said she'd come to get Dinky the next morning.
At about 1:00 am, she went into Dinky's room. She saw she had packed her things. She was sleeping on the floor of her room. Derpy cried. She saw her daughter's eyes were red and she had marks on her face.
The next morning, Derpy cried and cried and cried. Dinky did as well. She wasn't allowed to go by her mother, and she would be leaving her for Celestia knows how long.
"I love you Mommy." Dinky said sadly.
"I love you too."
"I'm really really really gonna miss you."
"I'm going to miss you so much Dinky. I'm sorry you have to go for a while." Derpy didn't dare to look at Dinky. Seeing her sad, little face would only make Derpy feel like more of a monster.
A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
"Howdy Derpy." AJ said a bit sadly.
Derpy hugged her daughter one last time and waved goodbye.
"Dinky. Listen to me. Mommy will call you every week okay. And don't worry this isn't goodbye forever." Derpy said seriously.
"I love you Mom." Dinky said, crying. She walked away with Applejack and Apple Bloom. Derpy closed the door to her housed, slumped down behind the door and just sobbed into her hooves for a good hour.
