When Luna gets the Red Ring of Death, it is not a fatal error, but something other than that. Soon, she finds that her console has a mind of its own, and it is able to control all of the other consoles, as well as all their tangly wires and controllers. Clearly, Luna's Xbox 360 wants to have far more fun with her than just playing video games.
