introduction to corruption

It was a nice afternoon for Twilight, as she was still reading her books.

''Spike have you cleaned the bookcases yet'' Twilight said , still focused on the book.

''Yes Twilight, I cleaned them twice today.'' Spike replied, a little annoyed that Twilight should ask about that. shortly after Twilight saw some green light out of the window, 'Its coming from the Everfree Forest, what in the world is going on out there' Twilight thought. ''Spike, I'm going out for a walk you can go to bed now if you like, it might be late when i get home'' said Twilight. ''okay Twilight have a nice walk'' said Spike.

Twilight walked to the edge of the Everfree forest, the green light still coming from within. 'what could it be' she thought and went into the forest, following the light as it got stronger with each step she took. The green light suddenly disappeared, as she came to a clearing. She saw a unicorn fall to the ground, once the unicorn hit the ground she walked over to take a look. When she saw he didn't moved, she quickly checked and was relieved that he was still breathing. She took him in her aura and walked home.

when she got through the door she could hear spike was asleep. She put down the unconscious unicorn on the couch and put a blanket over him, and went to bed.

Twilight woke up early because Spike shook her, ''Morning Spike'' said Twilight, ''There's a unicorn with many wounds sleeping on our couch'' said Spike. Twilight walked down stairs to see the wounds on the unicorn, he still didn't move, but still breathing. Twilight started to heal his wounds and checked for inner wounds, fortunately there was none.

Spike was making breakfast when Twilight come out to him, ''I found him in the Everfree and i thought it would be best if i took care of him until he gets better'' Twilight said.

She sat down and started eating, but was interrupted when she heard noise from the living room, a little after a dark green unicorn came out in the kitchen. He came straight to the table, when his legs gave way under him, ''are you alright mister...'' asked Twilight and looked at him nervously, ''yeah I'm fine for now thanks to you miss...'' the unicorn said, ''Twilight sparkle, Princess Twilight sparkle and your name...?'' asked Twilight, ''well Princess I'm Dark shadow, King Dark shadow to be right, but you can just call me Shadow'' he said, and only now Twilight saw that the unicorn was't an unicorn after all, but and Alicorn. 'he is an ALICORN well it was pretty dark last night' she thought.

''I'm fine now I just need to get my strength back and I'm good to go'' said Shadow ''I was fighting some unicorns, who wanted to invade Ponyville, but  I had to stop them, so it might take some time to get my strength back''. ''well your welcome to stay here until you get your strength back'' said Twilight ''thank you dear but for now I just need help'' Shadow said.

Twilight helped him to the couch where Spike brought the breakfast and they started eating. When they where done Twilight asked: ''what would you like to do now?''

''well since you live in a library we could read some books'' he said, and took a book from the pile of books ''well i can see you like Starswirl the Bearded'' he said, ''well yeah who don't like him he is one of the best magicians that ever lived!'' Twilight said, ''well i have one book you don't have, because this one got lost over time, its in my castle in the Everfree forest, would you like to read it with me?'' he asked with a smile on his face.

''well yes I'll like to, tell me where it is and I'll bring it back here...'' she said ''well why don't we go to my castle and get it?, when we find it you can teleport us back here and we can read it together?'' Shadow asked, Twilight nodded and lit her horn, 2 seconds later they were facing the Everfree and Dark shadow start walking in, twilight followed him in and a few minutes later they found the castle.

''home sweet home'' he said, Twilight was surprised to see such a castle, with statues of Starswirl the Bearded and many other, they looked around and found the book, it was one BIG book ''well now we're  here can't we just read it in the living room where I can start a fire'' he asked, Twilight looked around and was amazed by what she saw,''why not I like to see more of this castle at some point'' she said with a big smile, Shadow was glad to see this and walked to the living room, where the fireplace lit up in a matter of seconds, they walked over to the couch and started reading.

When it was about afternoon Twilight realized what time it was, ''oh no I forgot to tell Spike that we stayed here I need to tell him I'll be back in a bit'' she said before she teleported home, a few minutes later she was back with Spike on her back, ''I hope you don't mind Spike are here with us?'' she asked ''not at all I just go and make a room ready for him, I hope you don't mind sleeping with me tonight I only have one bed for us to share, btw there is something to eat in the refrigerator if your hungry I'll be back in a minute'' he said before he went out of the room, he came back a few minutes later and joined them in the kitchen for something to eat. When they were done Shadow showed Spike and Twilight the bedroom, ''this is where we'll be sleeping so I hope you'll get some good nights sleep, g'night Spike, g'night Princess Sparkle'' he said, Twilight blushed ''goodnight Spike, goodnight King Shadow'' she said before she lied down to sleep.
