introduction to corruption

Twilight woke up early, but didn't want to get out of bed, it was comfortable just to lie down. She could feel something warm on her back, she turned her head and saw Shadow had a hoof around her. She didn't want to wake him up, so she tried to remove the hoof from her body, but by doing that she woke him up.

''morning Princess'' he said and realized where his hoof was, he quickly took his hoof away and allowed Twilight to get up, ''morning Shadow, did you sleep well'' she asked looking at him with an unsure look, ''yes indeed I have, i haven't slept this well in many years tho'' he said with a smile ''what 'bout you?''

''well yeah i slept well, but you didn't have to put your hoof around me tho'' she said looking around for Spike, ''where's Spike, SPIKE where could he be'' she asked.

''his probably in the kitchen, but we can look after him, he cant be far away after all'' he said, they got out of bed and started looking for Spike, they started with the library and ended with the kitchen where they found Spike making breakfast, ''morning, you two did you sleep well'' Spike asked, Twilight hugged Spike ''we have been looking all over for you'' said Twilight, they sat down and begun eating, Twilight looked into Shadow's eye and suddenly she saw green  instead of the normal white and red where the blue iris was, ''what happened to your eyes?'' Twilight asked, looking a little worried, ''what do you mean with what happened to your eyes?'' Shadow asked surprised, didn't know what she meant, ''well your eyes are green and there is leaking purple mist from them how can that be?'' Twilight asked, a little nerves for what would happen now, ''oh that, I'm using dark magic, but only to good purpose trust me, only for good, but its getting harder to stay good when the dark is pushing'' he said, looking at Twilight and there was something about her that made him happy, something he could not explain, ''well as long its for good purpose its okay i guess, but i still keep an eye on you tho '' she said, with a serious look.

''I'm beginning to like you Princess something about make me comfortable, around you i feel good, can we be Friends, Princess?'' Shadow asked, walking over to her and sat down to look at her and waited on his answer, ''yes we can be friends, if you promise not to harm my friends and family, then yes we can be friends'' she said, Shadow pulled her in and hugged her tight, ''Thank you'' he said with tears dripping from his eyes, but it wasn't just tears, it was happy tears, ''hey don't forget me, I want a hug too, ya know'' said Spike and joined them in a big hug, ''speaking of dark magic i have a book you'll like'' Shadow said and walked in to the library, just to come back 'bout 10 minutes later with a book, ''this is a book 'bout dark magic that I've been studied for as long as i remember, would you like to study with me for some time today?'' he asked, he looked at Twilight with the lifeless eyes, Twilight nodded ''yes I'll like to'' she said, which made Shadow smile ''everything is going as planed'' a voice said, Shadow looked around and see where the voice come from, ''did you hear that, Princess?'' he asked with a nervous voice, Twilight looked at him with a questioning look, ''heard what?'' Twilight asked, Shadow was relieved that Twilight didn't hear it, ''oh nothing i just thought i heard something'' he said, he spread his wings and flew up in one of the towers, Twilight followed with Spike on her back, when they arrived Shadow lighted the fireplace, lay down on the floor with the book and waited, when Twilight got comfortable they started reading, after a few chapters they stop, ''do you wanna practice or just read?'' Dark Shadow asked, ''do you mean you wanna help me train in dark magic? but what if i lose control...?'' she replied with a sad face, ''then I'll help you gain control, plus out here no pony else is around'' he said waiting for his answer, ''I'll like to learn dark magic with you'' she said ''but im not sure we should do it today tho'' her voice sounding a little unsure ''well we could just read today and start training tomorrow if you like'' he said looking at her, and she looked at him, ''OK we'll do it tomorrow but tonight i wanna sleep at home, but your welcome to use the couch if you decide to join us'' she said with a smile, ''I'll love to'' he said he placed the book in his saddlebag and they flew off.

When they arrived at the library it was already afternoon, they walked in and begun finding what they needed, after a few minutes they lay down and started reading, they stopped a few hours later to get some late night snacks, when they were done they Twilight was tired, ''well looks like its time for me to hit the hay cya tomorrow'' she said and walked up stairs, Shadow lay down and tried to sleep, but after a hour without any sleep he walked up stairs, ''Twilight'' he whispered, Twilight turned her head to look at him, ''i cant sleep, can i sleep with you?'' he asked, Twilight moved a little further in and allowed him some space, he crawled under the covers and turned his head, ''thank you'' he whispered and gave Twilight a kiss on the cheek making her blush, ''g'night my Princess'' he said smiling all over his face, ''g'night my king'' she said before the dreams took over.
