Twilight Sparkle awakes to find Ponyville in a near deserted state with very strange weather conditions. Her friends are slowly and mysteriously disappearing into the darkness that is rapidly taking over Equestria. Through a little digging she finds clues to the cause of these strange and frightening occurences, but she has just reached the tip of the iceberg. The further she digs into the past, the more she uncovers about the darkness and her own heritage. Can she save equestria from the darkness that is the Revenant or will equestria be consumed by the eternal and dreadful curse of a soul tormented centuries ago?
