Yay for Night
I shook my head, watching as Isaac put on his glasses.
"What. Are. You. Wearing." I looked at his headphones, thrown lazily around his neck, as well as wearing a pair of 3D glasses slightly above his eyes, a tattered blue jacket covering his wings.
"I'm going as you." I looked down, and realized I was wearing the same.
"Fair enough." I walked out the door, me and him looking Identical, thanks to miss generosity, as I liked to call her, for dying his mane and fur to look just like me. I walked out the door, Isaac in tow. We headed to the party, where a friend of ours would be.
"I heard she's the DJ"
"No bit she's the DJ." Vinyl Scratch was a close friend of ours. She would come over and play games occasionally, or we'd help her find records. She loved records, and I had bought her one for her birthday last year. She still used it. After a bit-load of walking, we finally made it to the party, in some form of atrium, I didn't know. I don't live here.
"Where is she?" I turned towards Isaac.
"Maybe, where the DJ would be." I smacked Isaac, making him stumble a bit, looking around for the booth. Sure enough, near a large pile of records, was the DJ pony. Wearing the same outfit as always, a pair of purple-ish shades, and headphones around her neck. I started to walk towards her.
"Don't interrupt her. She's starting, look." Her horn started to glow, and a Song started up. I started tapping my hoof along to the beat absent mindedly. One of my favorites. Over to the side, a bit away, I saw a purple pony dressed as a wizard, talking to a much darker one, and bigger too. I looked away, figuring it was a private matter. I walked around until Isaac showed me the way to bob for apples. An orange pony with a blond mane and white freckles was putting in more apples. I recognised her, but didn't know from where. Then I saw the apples on her flank. It was an element, but I can never remember them all. Isaac can, so I pulled him aside.
"That's the apple girl, Right?" I whispered.
"Applejack"
"Whatever"
"Why?"
"She's famous."
"I'm going to bob for apples." I had a thought:
"Where did you get those headphones, Isaac?"
"The top drawer of your dresser, why?" I took them, looking around for a place to put them. I set them down on a table, and got in line top bob for apples. The orange pony, apples, or whatever, had left. I forgot to mention I suck at bobbing for apples. Oddly enough, Isaac is amazing. In 15 seconds, he had them all. It took me around a full minute to get one. I felt really bad when a filly had gotten more than I did, in less time. I was never going to stop hearing this from Isaac. I shrugged, finishing the apple I had gained. I saw a blue pony, With a rainbow mane, hitting it up with the orange, and a few others. The pink pony was with them. I found Isaac.
"That mare who won't leave us alone is here"
"Pink-something?"
"Yeah" She turned around and looked at us. THE HORROR! She had a pink flank, with a darker pink mane. A HORRIFYING cutie mark of BLUE BALLOONS, with a YELLOW one in the middle. She sprinted toward us. I backed away slowly.
"Jack!" It was already too late.
"No!" She handed me, of all things, a BALLOON.
"Why? Life is a party. Have a good one." She SMILED.
"I have a restraining order. STAY AWAY, FOUL DEMON!" She placed a cupcake in my hoof.
"Try it. It's good. Please!" She gave me eyes.
"YOU WILL NOT POISON ME!" I looked over at Isaac, who had taken a bite. I waited for him to foam at the muzzle, but when he didn't, I took a bite, watching her eyes to make sure she didn't have any hidden motives. I blushed slightly, realizing I had suddenly eaten the whole thing after the first bite, and I had frosting all over my muzzle. It was delicious.
"Maybe you're not so bad after all."
"Told you." Isaac shook his head. I realized how late it was, and told Isaac we either had to leave, or take some strong cider.
"Well, I'm in the mood to get hammered."
"Good. We can go out when the party is over."
"Parties are NEVER over!" Pinkie looked at me.
"Are...... are you going to join your other friends?" Pinkie wanted something, and I knew what it was.
"You can join us, if you want." I covered my ears, waiting for the YAY I knew was coming.
"YAY!" I Drunk a glass of buck, waiting for Scratch to finish. The final song played, and I finished my glass. Vinyl walked to me, taking off her headphones, letting them hang around her neck. She turned towards me, and places a CD inside a case in my hand.
"I'm giving them out. Music should be shared." She shares my views on music. I nodded, sticking it into my jacket pocket.
"Want to get some cider, play some POD after?" I couldn't wait for the night ahead.
