Rarity Trap: CYOS

You mumble something about being at the boutique and then realizing that you were late. Rainbow’s eyes narrow, but she doesn’t call you out on it, and you make it home without further incident.

2 weeks later...

You haven’t talked with Rarity since the incident, but fortunately you haven’t heard anyone else talking about it, even on the weather team. Apparently it didn’t make it to the gossip mill.

Even so, you tense up a bit when you notice Rarity walk up to you at a cafe. She seats herself across from you and asks you how you are. You give a hesitant answer and return the question, and she gives an equally meaningless answer, then deftly turns the conversation towards eligible mares, watching you for a reaction each time she mentions one. It’s apparent she feels bad for how things turned out and wants to fix you up. The conversation continues, and you’re pretty sure you can start to make out which Ponyville mares are fillyfoolers or already have their eyes on somepony else from the omissions. It seems Rarity really is willing to give any mare in Ponyville just short of a written recommendation of you. This relationship may not have worked out, but your love life is far from over.
