I Can See The Water

Previous Chapter

A rainbow is brightest at its lowest point.

With one last gulp, the Rainbow wipes her lips, the excess liquid splatters against the sands of time. The water of blue rocks against this sand, displacing and covering the remains of what water was wasted. Yet, she is not done, for she wipes her cheek too, the same excess residue impacts against that same sand, before it too is displaced by the waters of which covers the pains of waste.

Rainbow Dash rises, her wing span is on display for all ponies to see.

Yet, she feels something is missing.

Something isn't flowing in her anymore.

She needs some water.

But what water is hers?

The ocean?

The empty tankard in her grasp?

The liquid that quenches her thirst?

No...

None of that is hers.

Rainbow Dash walks along the sea, staring at the friends that she once knew.

All she needs is a drink in her hoof.

To be loved once more.
