She desires closeness, return; a simple hug with a whisper that cares for her.
Rainbow Dash does not wish for a friend that lays his or her sympathy upon her gracious mane.
Rainbow Dash does not wish for a friend that continues to support her habit of returning to the water.
Rainbow Dash does not wish for a friend whose blindness contradicts the values of which she holds.
Rainbow Dash...
"Rainbow?"
The whisper in the wind asks.
"Rainbow?"
It continues to ask.
The rainbow can't turn, for it is too late.
The footsteps collide with the wood.
"Rainbow, why are you up here?"
The whisper asks politely.
Rainbow Dash sighs.
"Because I need some water."
With that, the Rainbow departs to grab another drink of water.
