Ten years had passed, and much has changed since then. A mysterious cloaked entity leads two unsuspecting stallions to Ponyville--these two just so happening to be searching for the 'Steel-Horned Alicorn,' a being said to have unimaginable power. The rumors of this 'Steel-Horned Alicorn' are plentiful in number, yet nopony knows which are true and which are fabricated nonsense.

Perhaps it's best that it remains that way--yet curiosity will get the better of some irregardless. There are those that seek power; those who seek fame and fortune, and those who seek completely farfetched things that, as rumor goes, only the 'Steel-Horned Alicorn' is able to grant with her supposedly unimaginable power. Only the truly foolish and desperate will dare traverse the trodden dirt path that has failed countless others time and time again, and this causes truths that come to light, whether some like it or not.

And what if at least one of these truths was something absolutely nopony was prepared for?
