Twilight is suffering from repressed memories, and they all stem from one sentence someone said to her on a trip to Canterlot: "You have your mother's eyes." With a slow spiral of memories coming to light in her mind, Twilight Sparkle must come to terms with several facts that may have been hidden from her.

She does, indeed, have her mother's eyes.
